that game uh yeah I thought um yeah really strong sort of 55 60 Minutes there uh and then it you know we our ill discipline there open it up there were a bit more opportunities for them on the goal line at the end there I thought defensively were really good to start worked really hard um some really strong running today uh which was a real positive for us so um yeah it's uh it was a yeah it was a good day good day for us and important to bounce back after that loss against the sh yeah it's always uh you always sort of take your lessons there was a bit of lessons that we needed to sort of pick up and then to put that in place and then play like that that's always you're not sure whether it's going to be too much information um but the boys picked up the lessons we needed from the canala game I put them on board and and for the most part put them in place today so that was uh a real positive what were some of those uh I thought what was home based for us you know what what we uh rely on I thought our defense was much better today than what it has been what it was 38 points last week um and then you know for the most part I thought going into half time were really in control great set out at halftime um they've got some really they got really strong ball carriers you know they're really hard to tackle um they move bounce across your line sort of offload standing tackles they're really really you know they got lots of really strong players there um and for the most part I felt like we defended well we had to tackle well so that was a positive um I think it's the fifth game that you 30 or more in a row um what sort of Click that's made you so poent attack um yeah I think it's a balance between um as I said before what our home base is how we want to play and then also backing the instincts of the players on the back of that and and how they combine together and and see uh how they support each other and then combine um to to find space on the back of that but um I think we're starting off in the right way uh with what our home base is mention said they miss 60 tackles or something like that is that s of down to them or down to you guys as well uh yeah not sure bit of both obviously but I that I think the way that the guys carried today um I feel like Jared started really powerfully I thought the backfield Ted um tupes and and um Dom young the combination that they started the sets with were really good um fahu white coming on starting after a couple of weeks and then Spencer and team a coming on as Replacements and and and doubling down on that um so yeah there was some positive there from us how did you say it yeah yeah I feel like our Middle's really low the platform for start with Jared and far and Lind and then those guys that come off the bench Spence and T um really did a good job for us just PR some Havoc through the middle and then our edges um sort of yeah create a lot of opportuni so I think the connection has been big butt with while we're scoring a lot of points to just everyone's ready to play and um just getting that balance of patience and executing on the back of it guess there was a little bit of talk the the game about origin how important was a few to make a statement out there today oh it's not bad stay I just about playing footy and doing my best um for us to win a game so um that's that's important for me especially as a captain just um getting two points and playing some good footy so that's all I can really do and and see what happens in the back of that and a few good teammates up I feel like cross out team everyone just playing some really good footy and that's why we're putting on a lot of points and um having some good wins so so it's a it's a team effort everyone's just doing their job really well and that's um that's resulting us getting some good wins you expect I'd like to yeah yeah and Lindsay you know there's the other team up north as well that so yeah yeah you want as many guys in origin as possible you know it hurts next week's game but um you get really excited for them you love watching your guys play so um feel like a lot of guys have put their hand up that are in contention for for those teams and um it's over to imagine Billy to to go and select that Sunday night and you know cross our fingers for our guys James just last one James um I guess obviously not your concern today but potentially going forward would you make Hudson's game he might have himself I'm not sure it's hard to uh get a read on that right after the game to be honest I think um yeah I'm actually not too sure but it's hard to had to get read what I'm sort of playing in the game you guys probably get have more than me but yeah I thought he played I thought he was quite strong today um you know there was a there's a quite a few um uh they had a couple of sort of runs on the back of his um sort of there was a long shift and then there was a short side and I thought um he's really dangerous there and obviously got to have to preview him a lot which these guys don't have to um there's some options there obviously in the back row um some really good back rolls going around at the moment but um yeah he's he's definitely uh well I'm sure he's definitely In Contention from previous years and and the way he's been playing
