LSU-USC Preview: How Brian Kelly, Tigers Can ATTACK Lincoln Riley, Trojans!!

hey what's going on y'all T-Bob here and Jake as well and you're about to watch the little OTB LSU we're going to give you all the latest greatest between LSU football baseball women's basketball softball and everything in between bottom line you want to talk Tigers keep it lock subscribe like it Miller Moss named as the starting quarterback for USC and I don't know what spurred this today but I was just thinking about this dude uh maybe this is a bit of my uh Los Angelino hate coming through um but I've spent a lot of times hanging out with people in Los Angeles and the fellas are fine it's it's a lot of nice people um but ultimately a soft people uh if we're being fair and I like you if you are this LSU defense Jake you cannot come out here in Las Vegas in front of the entire country and let Miller moss and this version of USC push you around oh no Pete Carol ain't coming through that door okay these aren't the killers that Carol had out of South California back in you know you back in the early 2000s okay these are the tick tock Jin zers that you love to hate on so much if you're listening to this show these are the new generation soft boys from the West Coast who just want to talk about their feelings and go surfing all day and it's Miller freaking moss and this is LSU or at least it's supposed to be right the house that Glenn dorsy and Ricky Jean and Oli heith and all these other Legends built the anger of DBU of Tyra Matthew of Patrick Peterson like with this LSU defense to play freaking mean and I've been here in rumors guys cuz you got bullied in the last four openers bullied even by some soft ass Jin Z ticktockers even that UCL a probably less because they you know baby groon and they ran power and stuff Chip Kelly but you even let the air raid push you around yeah pathetic pathetic so yeah you might make mistakes you might give up some big plays but I want them to feel you I want Miller Moss to be hurting by the end of the night I want you to assert physical dominance and like I said I've been hearing rumors about USC guys rumors that leadership thinks Lincoln Riley's gone that the relationship has become a bit tenuous that Lincoln seems checked out that Lincoln is trying to get to the NFL there's a growing belief this may be his last year in Los Angeles however um that all changes if you let them go win this game like right now Lincoln Riley and USC they're like a fighter that's a little wobbly on his feet you know they're a little dazed they're on the edge of losing do not let them steal a haym maker and refine themselves and regain confidence finish them you really I I I truly believe you have that opportunity in Vegas in a couple of weeks so one of the main things I'm looking for get the hell out of dep chart stats you know uh stop percentage I don't that stuff matters but what I really want to see I want to see some physical meanness I want to see anger I want to see you push them around and not be pushed around and I want you to keep hitting them until they beg you to stop and then I want you to hit him again okay that's what I freaking want I want blood in those Las Vegas Sands Lincoln Riley that's from my headset this morning okay um I like I have all the confidence in the world that what you're talking about is going to get done with LSU's offensive line against their defensive line and their defensive line has got some names that every SEC fan is going to remember we've talked a lot about be Alexander on this show because well he plays defensive tackle two years ago you still needed one of those you were looking for help even two years ago he decides to go to USC he did not do a whole lot a year ago they also have Anthony Lucas coming over Edge rusher SEC fans will know that name as well but how did he do last year um because like he was we talked about him all offseason but I don't remember hearing about him too much during the year it&m right yes they weren't the eye popping stats no and bar didn't NE didn't either we hyped them up I hyped them up all we broke it down uh gosh I mean way back in the offseason what his stats actually were but you have the advantage there it's going to be on the other side of the football because again like you've been pushed around by the air raid of Mike Leech in 20 20 y you got pushed around by in 2021 by UCLA and the 17 counters that they ran that you got really pushed around there got run over the last two years you got pushed around by Florida State all right you've been pushed around by three different programs four different times and so I am right there with you and can you have you because one side of the ball we feel like they do have it figured out can the defensive front and can the front seven because it's not just the the four down line it's going to be those linebackers as well can you stand tall against this USC offense because you absolutely should well and and can these can hey Corners are you ready to play Man feels like a it it feels like LSU secondary's been wandering the desert looking for anybody who is willing to play Man coverage you just haven't been able to what what does Cory Raymond want to do he wants to play Man coverage and there's nothing more intimidating and nothing could set up Blake Baker's uh ability to manufacture matchups better than you being able to play some lock down m d so we've heard a lot about Zachariah branch and people keep talking and talking and talking he had 31 catches for 320 yards 10 yards per catch and two touchdowns last last year yeah this is a player that they continue to highlight time and time again about why USC has one of the best receiver rooms in the country okay I've watched the tape you can have some advantages there don't just headline read like do a deep dive into what they actually have you have some advantages if you go out there and you play with that confidence now Duce Robinson's going to be a a mismatch I mean he's a tight end body it's going to be playing receiver he's he's there Trad as green yeah it's kind of what he looks like he is in my opinion going to give you the most trouble of those USC receivers you have to be able to handle him CU he he does create a mismatch and look you've had a a good look at somebody that looks like him that's a tight end that can play receiver that has basketball type skills can high point the ball that's going to be the one guy that I think you have to get stopped because when you look there's no like Marshon Lloyd's not there at running back Marshon Lloyd's bowling ball okay he's not there anymore Woody Marx is going to be their starting running back Woody Marx is a good player but he comes from the air raid Mississippi State where he caught a thousand footballs okay that is his biggest strength he is not a big guy he is 59202 okay so again like they don't have a big 225 pound back like is giving you trouble certainly against UCLA and against Florida State the last two years like you have some advantages in here you have to go do the things Stop's talking about uh to your point Jake even with Miller boss's 372 yard performance last bowl game uh zachari Branch only two catches for nine dece Robinson one catch 44 yard touchdown jacobe Lane three for 60 maai lemon two for 75 TSH Washington 7even for 99 and two TS uh jacobe lane two touchdowns as well and that three for 60 that is one thing I'll give Miller Moss an impressive amount of receivers caught the ball in that ball I mean 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 n 10 different receivers uh catching balls he's he's got um more confident throughout the offseason Miller Moss has I mean again this is Leed Riley the quarterback Whisperer uh it is a great and in Miller Moss you have kind of even a Garrett nus parallel a guy who's stuck around a guy who's always loved USC he stuck around he bued his time and now his opportunity is here it's a great test for this LSU defense early on and again there's going to be mistakes it's not going to be perfect but can you physically win because you should if you allow yourself to be beat up by the USC Trojans and that brittle Lincoln Riley culture I would be as disappointed with that as anything else that could happen like even if you won the game and that happened I would still be disappointed so um here's the hoping that this defense
