Hello everyone back from this Maxi Race 2024 so I'm very tired but I really want to tell you about it too so first of all for those who don't know what the MaxiRace is Well it's a race important trail race in France there were approximately 7000 runners in this edition, there are several formats and the queen race, the one in which I participated, was approximately 94 km for 5500 m elevation gain. A trail that goes all around Annecy Lake , so quite stylish. It's a race I wanted to take part in because this year I decided to travel less, move less and discover new races so it was perfect! You have to have good breath on the starting line. So my friends, this morning at 4 a.m., I'm happy, you know why? Molded or non-molded? Was the poop hard? Or was it soft? This is how we can assess the level of stress... When you get up at 3 a.m. and go to that delicate bathroom. So yes it can hurt when it's very moldy after a big bowl of rice the day before but... on the other hand... it's reassuring. I'm telling you this morning it was really moldy, I'm reassured, I can go running in peace I'm heading towards the starting line, that's it. Departure in 5 minutes. It's going to be a beautiful day. You can even see the stars up there. Finally the rain is going away. Come on, it's going up well! Maybe a third of Semnoz away. Baptiste, Aurélien and Thibaut just in front Open it for me please... Thank you Come on, refuel with Mr. Vincent Kilometer 17. We are going to climb there to the summit Before switching for 1000 m of descent Thibaut and Baptiste just in front. I'm on cloud nine! Figuratively and literally Look! We're running on the clouds, my friend. Come on, it's rocking! it goes down. Here we go, thigh break, round 1 It was the passage to Saint-Eustache. And I just smashed the camera on the ground You could have taken the mud off us anyway Thanks everyone So I just passed the mid-race refreshment at Doussard. 48 kilometers, everything is fine. In first position. Thibaut is just behind I think... Come on, it starts now! At work! I just passed the Montmin Kilometer 56 refueling, everything is going well but it stings a little! there is a lot of mud on the course. The supports are super slippery. So we have to catch up with the ischios. And they heat up! There is the Montmin exit, a wall on asphalt! It doesn't help to soften the ischios. Come on, let's not give up! Come on. One last little word before leaving you. So I worked very hard on this racing video project. You know how to take the camera in the middle of the race, take it out! And talking about it, when we're at it, it's really hardcore! Besides, you probably noticed that after halfway through the race, I didn't take the camera out too much... In short, I really enjoyed working on this project and telling you about my race. In 2020, I did a podcast to share with you a little bit of my athlete backstage. Then I want to continue doing it, to share this backstage with you, but this time on video, because the landscapes are so beautiful! you share races, training advice, mental preparation advice, nutrition. Showing you the highs, but not hiding the lows too! Because that’s real life too. It's not just the medals. So don't hesitate to write to me in comments what topics you would like to see? This is also community. See you soon. Ciao <3
