second half and etn picking up where he left off that's a gain of 13 for the transfer from Florida you just take a look at this Georgia offense we mentioned the four starting quarterback and they feel like Carson Beck has really emerged as one of the top quarterbacks in the country in his Fifth Season here Beck throwing on first down misses it there and he was in a great Rhythm to start the game completed his first 11 passes but now he's thrown four incompletions in a row rocket yeah completion let him get back into Rhythm a bit earlier this week ESPN draft analyst Mel Kyper revealed his top prospects and he had Carson Beck and Shor Sanders as 1 a and one B can he win the Heisman I absolutely the question is is he going to have the numbers to do it you know last year Caleb Williams at 41 total touchdowns Jaylen Daniels uh 40 and you know just there was so many great players on this offense you just wonder if he's going to have to have the numbers to be able to win a Heisman third and seven Beck tucks and runs trying to pick it up with his legs and he does needed seven got nine to the 50 not sure that's a shot Beck went 13- one last year for Georgia and he said walking off the field after that one loss in the SEC Championship game he knew he was coming back unfinished business here at Georgia pump and go and he's got Aran Smith wide open hits him for a Georgia touchdown incredible through and through and we were talking with Bulldog's head coach Kirby Smart about John streak which began when Kirby was in seventh grade and he told us that's what makes SE e in question he gets how do you afford all this so he says every year they budget and he's got his Georgia fund and he takes extra coaching and some landscaping jobs and enjoy with your family that is exceptional and I think the big key is Melanie in all this is very understanding why F very told me she didn't even grow up a foot footb fan but once you start you dating John it was a non-negotiable the Georgia football was going to be a part of their life yeah you definitely have to have a very understanding come to that 28 straight games wow an eligible receiver number four offense was not on the end of the line of scrimmage and went down field penalties declined fourth down George's Defense Forces another three and out what a Relentless unit for Georg is now 42 it's been a busy day for punt returner Anthony Evans had to return as long as 43's got plenty of speed but couldn't break free there good punt coverage by Tennessee Tech as we check in with Ashley down on the sideline well described how people were making a big deal about the helmet to helmet communication this is the bigger deal the the tablets gun are stocked in into the game so adjusting to them for the first time that Green Dot signals the headset communication that he receives before every play and and a go after this drive and be able to watch back these plays in real time is such an advantage especially for a younger quarterback as you're getting you know your first reps of the Season here and Jay it's the ability to make instant adjustments you know and you used to have to go through maybe you go through a series or two before you you figure out what the other teams doing now you see what what do they do on third down what do they do on the last three you know four third and shorts right you see what they're doing you you kind of tweak your game plan a little bit and this just helps a great coaching staff third and four for Stockton fires it right near the first down marker there's the defensive Personnel checking out the iPads that's only going to help the best get better we're going for it on fourth and one I don't know why that play was blown dead Stockton still had forward momentum and spun out of it he would have been gone I think they blew it thinking it was just a stopped quarterback sneak and he squirts out the other side Kirby Smart not cuz that was a touchdown first and 10 it was enough to move the chains on that fourth and one Stockton play action steps up unloads a deep ball and it's dropped Cole Spear and Jameson Wharton just it's going back to the iPads Rocky the the new technology and the new ruling college football on paper it's the same Advantage for everybody but it's how you use it some teams are going to use it a lot more effectively than others Kirby Smart has challenged his staff to try and gain those those competitive ingame advantages that's it's something that they're going to really really I mean learn more as the season goes on how to exactly use that thing first and 10 gunar Stockton moving the ball well backup quarterback with his first drive of the game that's Nate Frasier the true freshman from Modern Day Powerhouse high school out in California prolific debut a week ago more than a 100 yards on 12 touches against Clemson he's been used sparingly being played longer season you need to keep some tread on the tires of these guys and and having that amount of depth in the running back room or wherever is really going to help in checks down to Branson Robinson I wouldn't want to tackle Robinson Rocky you're a former linebacker 220 lbs coming out of the back field yeah that's that's tough nice again compact body at 220 lbs runs low to the ground behind those shoulder pads right back to Robinson breaking tackles into the end zone touchdown Bulldogs running back also a competitive weightlifter he deadlifted 720 lbs and you saw all that size and physicality and strength on that run discussing they just don't have many of those kind of guys you know like an Ernest Green who's 64 320 and can move you know Jared Wilson who's 63 310 and runs 19 M milph they don't grow on trees and they got a bunch of them here at Georgia it's going to help out a loaded Run game and defensively they're so sound all over the timeout Tennessee Tech that it's hard to pick an individual unit you know is it the linebackers Malachi Starks in the secondary but they come together as an 11 on the field and and just every single day in practice you hear the stories about how competitive these Georgia Six passes four have that Balden might even be farther along than Malachi Starks was when he was a true freshman and you see what Starks is turned into another positive play through the passing game couple of flags down
