The BUYS And SELLS From Week 2 Fantasy Football (TNF) - Tua Tagovailoa Concussion Impact

we're going to do a quick recap of the Thursday night game the Buffalo Bills and the Miami Dolphins going over this from a fantasy football perspective the misses the hits what these players did Force missing out the story of this game though and there was a big story here and it was between the running backs James Cook and Devon anent and James Cook came out on fire 11 carries 78 yards 7.1 yards per carry blew up three touchdowns two rushing one catching it in the passing game and the bills only had to throw the ball 19 times they did not have to throw the ball a lot they were up early in this game and they were able to going cruise control one story a sad story two it came out looks like a concussion injury probably is more than likely fourth concussion in two years so he's racking them up I'm not liking that for him long-term wise you're going to have to pay attention to Tua and that's going to impact the entire offense he threw three picks in this game impacted the offense as well the story for the Dolphins Devon hent like I said earlier 22 carries 98 yards he got a lot of of volume also led the team in receiving with seven catches and 69 yards that's a lot of workload that's a lot of work that's great for fantasy football for him to hold up longterm in the season I'm questioning that so the rb2 that's healthy on this team because Wilson went out with an injury late in the game and he was out and it was him and Wright out on the field Wright was getting some opportunity during mop-up Duty in the final minutes of the game and he was getting locked down a good bit I still want to see him on the field a little bit more but if Skyler Thompson is going to be the quarterback for the long term I'm not going to care too much I'll care about Devon H and I'll watch him all day long I'll start him all day long he's going to get the touches if he's healthy he's going to get the workload that's what they're saying Tyreek Hill and jayen wad we're going to be worried about them going forward because in the passing game jayen wad four catches 41 yards Hill three for 24 but the question is what's that going to be looking like with this new quarterback situation what's that going to look like for the long term because that's to his fourth concussion in 2 years he had a bunch of them in 2022 we just had one now what's going to be the impact for that long term in the season because he's going to be handled differently now we do not know how long he's going to be out and when he's going to come back and I don't know he can take his time I'm not going to pressure that situation you're looking at the receiving game here Keon Coleman got one target KH shaur got five targets five catches 54 yards so your best receiver got 54 yards on five catches not a lot of volume in the passing offense two games in a row the bills have been in game scripts where they did not need to push the pace in the passing game they did in the back half for the game last week but in the first two quarters of the first half they only had five pass attempts one pass attempt in the first quarter so again they were in these weird game scripts where they're not needing to throw the ball a lot so you're not really getting a true sample of what this team could look like khilo Shakur got you 10.4 PPR fantasy points that's Sol James Cook in the receiving game got the touchdown outside of that the volume's too low to really speculate on what's going on in the receiving game dcan Cade four catches 33 yards a lot of people worried about him but he did get four targets today he was out on the field second on routes run last week for the bills so he is getting workload it's just the volume's been weird in the passing game for the bills and we're watching the passing game for the Dolphins there's going to be a lot of question marks the pace of play really slowed down once Tua got out slowed down a lot they're going to run a lot less plays with Tua out hen's going to get a lot of work they're going to keep him out on the field they're going to allow him to get the ball a lot can he hold up but he's going to be the guy he is going to be a guy if he can hold up for double digit games this season he's going to be one of the top running backs by the end of the year definitely with that workload and that speed and that opportunity he's going to have some big moments especially if if or when Tua comes back Devon hn can go off but the big story lines James Cook Devin hn Big Winners two is going to be out for a bit the passing game has been slow for
