pieces of paper of me writing lyrics out scribbling it out replaying the beat right out another line I don't like that scribbling it out even though I I do it as it's really almost even kind of like I think it falls in the category of parody almost uh there's some cringe on purpose even though some people can't wrap their head around that but I do want it to at least be I want it to maybe be catchy video earlier and they think that the ACC Championship game will be Miami versus Florida State and Miami beats Florida State both times this season they beat Florida state in the regular season and then they have a rematch in the ACC Championship game and Miami wins again I'm not saying I agree or disagree I'm just saying I am seeing that everywhere yep I saw that one too I kind of wish they weren't talking about Miami as a Miami fan like a lot of Miami fans are like just let the team earn it don't even rank them in little Z and they Pi up the chill chill chill chill the holes in the zone knowing you're in zone knowing where to sit down how to make it an easy pitch and catch for the quarterback and that's what it was on third ah JG was his first drop all right it had to happen eventually it for me as a Miami fan I'm like are they really high on Miami or are they building Miami up so then they can they can laugh at Miami if they don't meet those expectations I'm sorry but as Miami is because there are a lot of Miami fans scattered throughout the country so they're always looking to get their news you know on the internet cuz they're they're they're not there like in South Florida up the first so they're always Googling it youtubing it trying to keep up with the team that's just my personal take yeah I'm not even and see I'm not even saying I'm just saying they do have stacking some Talent up with some some good recruiting classes even though I know we say that all the time but just talking numbers on paper here a lot of fans are going to say well if this isn't it it might not ever happen or it's going to be a long long ways away and it definitely ain't going to be under Mario cristall so I'm I'm kind of there with you basically uh the expectations are higher than ever the me media is hyping Miami up more than ever Kane's fans expectations again through the roof if they if they can't do it I'm not saying this is my opinion I'm just saying this is what I feel like the vibe is if they can't do it now with this it's still not a perfect scenario I I would like it to be year three I wish so bad this was year three with Dawson and gidry year four for Mario most of it but fans if if it doesn't if if it doesn't happen this year if they're not if Miami's not at least in the ACC Championship Game fans are going to be like well Mario just can't be the one year depends on who you ask and I say that because a lot of Miami fans will label the Georgia Tech game as a a win if they had taken the knee so a lot of Miami fans are going to to say technically they won eight so they would want to see they would want to see a jump of at least two more wins which would put them at 10 I don't really go that route as far as the Georgia Tech game was a loss yes all myami had to do was take the knee but you can also go into any game and say well all they had to do was not throw that interception all they had to do was punch it in from the one yard line it went down as a loss is a loss so Miami 17 but they were right there in multiple games again momy momy wasn't getting blown out by anybody it's just so hard to predict this season I don't care how confident any fan wants to act or content creator whoever it may be number one Miami Hurricane seasons are always hard to predict in my opinion I think so but this year especially because everything looks like it's it's there like there are a few things like I said I already mentioned I'd like for it to be year three with Dawson and gidry some some other different things I could dive into in a different stream but on paper man we'll see you know where I stand I did my way too early season prediction and I was at nine and people said Co you're right you being a conservative on purpose and and you're rid in the fense so you you don't piss either side off that's where I that's where I was at and it was because that that was in March that was before we even had Spring football or anything Miami goes undefeated in the ACC Louisville is a well coached team I don't think C's that great but it's in California Florida state is still going to be pretty good good Georgia Tech is away should be a Redemption game should be personal but man that's all I'm saying that's all I'm saying is it's it's tough because again on paper everyone says this schedule is super soft and you're not wrong compared to you know schedules of the past over recent years it's not that bad when you've got FAMU All State USF I don't care what anybody says Miami's not losing that game don't let me forget about Virginia Tech they've got a dual threat quarterback they're looking to take a leap it's their third year with their head coach Miami's usually good for an oh game hopefully it changes there's two by weeks you see what I'm saying like so it's easy to talk yourself into it both ways I'm saying both ways it's easy to say look at this schedule man look at this schedule the Miami's got this the money the talent the coaching they got it but then I can also break it down and and play Devil's Advocate and be like wait a minute if I go read my comments from last year there's a large portion of fans that said hey ACC Championship this is it the year before that read my comments ACC championship game National Championship This Is It Go liter literally it's documented so I I try to view both sides I I try to look at it uh objectively I guess I don't know if I'm wording that correctly what's up Melissa Miami did win but uh Melissa let me show you something look at this Miami was winning 24 to7 in the fourth quarter and Duke recovered the first onside kick in a virtual game ever on this channel they recovered an onside kick and they scored it was 24 to7 in the fourth final score 24-21 little bit of a scare but but Miami got it done Miami put points on the board in every quarter Duke also missed a field goal in this game don't want to completely spoil it for you but I guess I just did see and I agree so we say you know Tyler van dijk held this offense back I am that guy that says I don't think so much it was Dawson's play calling as much as it was Tyler van djk handcuffing Dawson because I just don't think Tyler van djk was comfortable and the alternative was a freshman with Emory they only played Emery in that uh the Clemson and Florida State game because they had well I more so the Clemson they had to cuz TVD you know couldn't warm up something was off you know whatever I think that that made it tough on on Dawson and then you know you have the whole Jakari situation which is a totally different can of worms but it's just so easy I'm I'm I'm not being negative all I'm saying is it's easy in the off season to just look at everything on paper and talk yourself into Miami being super good and then at the end of it being like well if only this guy hadn't have held us back well if only we hadn't have of have done this in that game it changed the trajectory of the entire season you know what I mean like so it's it's easy to go both ways again jump over to the other side of the fence I can give you a lot of good reasons why this is the year for Miami I definitely can but you can do both you can do both both assume camard is him let's assume that the fumbling issues are not a problem uh he's he's got a better o line he's not Dawson has even said in all these interviews the goal is not to just run the heck out of Cam Ward every game you don't want your quarterback you know getting beat up all the time but the option is there if he does need to extend place they can can do it here and there you know maybe a quarterback sneak you know some some design runs for him but not because he's constantly having to do it out of necessity like he had to do with his previous team dline is nasty running back room is deep especially if Fletcher is going to be ready to play week one secondary eh we'll see we'll see but again you can talk yourself into either one it's always super unpredictable it just is uh we can pretend to be confident in saying they're going to be really good or really bad like I said I've got a receipts folder right here on my desktop I can pull up right now there was the dude last year who said uh Coupe if we go 7 and five uh no no no he said we we this guy he said Coupe we cannot go seven and five in 2023 because that now Miami's you know 15 and 17 and still recruited at a high level but you can only do that for so long before it starts to be a problem you can't win seven or eight this year and expect to retain are those conference wins and running the table after that but hopefully they win it hopefully they win it but I agree with you I agree with you at the end of the day if they're in the ACC Championship game and in the playoffs it's fine with me fine with me appreciate you Frank thank you for the big 20 but I I'll say this EV Mario can't coach forever so even if Mario is successful here then what a lot of people what it's difficult for me to put it into words it when I go to a game it is the same as me taking a vacation so I don't do the game day stream looking at it from a you got to remember you have to look at it from a business uh perspective look at look at it as a business if I go to a game I don't do the live game day Hangouts and that impacts the business side of things so it's it's the same as me it's the same as me taking a vac vaction day or week and then also paying for a hotel stay game tickets gas food so I got to be prepared and ready to do it and this year as I said there's other there's other factors this year I don't know if I can make it happen next year for sure though next year for sure Lane train would get in so much trouble at Miami it's crazy I'd be here for it give me give me like two years put an ACC Championship game in there in a national championship underling kein it's fine it's fine I mean interesting Rett Lashley if he wins Big at SMU you know I've wondered I would love to know but I'm talking about off the record I would love to know Rett lashley's thoughts on Miami because I wonder if I wonder if um it sort of changed his mindset or outlook on the program with the way they handled the Manny Diaz stuff or maybe red didn't like Manny I don't know so I again off the Record behind closed doors I would love to know what Rhett thinks of Miami now and if that would ever be in the cards for him to return I think Rhett has a good thing at SMU and I think they'll be pretty good I think they'll be pretty good but we'll see it it
