Picking Minnesota Vikings 2024 schedule

the calendar has turned to September there's a crisp fness in the air and we are going to pick the Vikings schedule on today's purple daily for the final time before the season starts plus jud's practice notes but we want to start the show off I'm sure most if not all of you saw the news from a couple nights ago uh so Park Tavern in St Louis Park has been an incredibly great partner of ours we had our draft party in 2023 there a couple years ago um it has been the official sports bar of the sports dad it is your neighborhood sports bar going back decades and decades Park Tavern and St Louis Park and uh a bunch of people were enjoying a beautiful Sunday night on the patio and and there's detail still coming out but uh tragically a driver drunk drove through the outdoor patio area killing two people and severely injuring a small handful of others and we just wanted to start the show by saying our hearts are broken our hearts are out for the families and the friends and the folker's family so she is a server and her mom was a longtime server at Park Tavern um she tragically passed away on Sunday night there's a gof on me scor.com donate I also just retweeted from Phil Macky another GoFundMe for a woman uh named tan Tegan de Albany who is in severe condition in a hospital right now there's a GoFundMe for her and I retweeted that like I said Phil Macky on Twitter yeah and then uh the second death was a man named Gabe Harvey who was a Methodist Hospital ICU employee just there gathering with friends and and having a fun Sunday night and so yeah Jud you stopped over there yesterday and um and we there at the memorial and talk to some people from Park Tavern yeah and the fourth uh name I saw of a person who was severely injured is Theo Larsson and I think there's also a go funme for him and yeah it's absolutely heartbreaking and it's absolutely terrible I I stopped by and I dropped off some flowers yesterday there's a memorial out there I and and I talked to uh our friend Cheryl who has you know her and Phil basically run that place and it's a community it's a family it's it's you know part of now my hometown in SLP here and so yeah it's an undescribable I mean I've been just heart sick for three days now there's no there's no way that you can get your head around this and and the you know tragedy so unnecessary and you know poor Christina three kids three and those poor kids you know and now she's just gone and I think she was 30 so she was a kid and then I believe the rest of the people who were either in gab's case killed or hurt worked at as you said Methodist hospital where they save people you know like their life's go their their life is it revolves around trauma and and you know helping people who go through things just like this and now just completely senselessly uh lives are are gone and certainly altered so yeah I I just I I told Cheryl I said whatever we can do down the road let us know because I mean they're grieving right now and they can't I mean no one can process this yet so just a tragedy and the last thing too is we consider the sponsors on our show to be more than sponsors they're family they're people that we try to keep up with um and this is just for lack of a better term devastating just devastating so more details will come out I think just the best thing that we can do losses here boys for the YouTube audience we've got the schedule on the screen we'll start with Dean over to Jud and then I can round out each game here so at the Giants win loss and uh short explanation Dean win win they they they need to get off to a good start I think the Giants might be one of the worst teams in football this year so win win for the Vikings in New York I agree with de win I'm a little bit concerned because it's it's Darnell not going back to play the Jets but still going back to play in the same stadium and clearly the attention and and it will be a test for Sam uh but yes I think that the Vikings is very capable and Will Come Away with a win I'm going to go win here too Vikings are the better team I think man for as many questions as people have about Daniel about Sam darnold I think Daniel Jones raises just as many questions in fact I think Sam darnold is the more talented quarterback of the two and we'll just see which head coach and infrastructure can I don't know keep the other one for keep keep their quarterback from turning the ball over and being a turnover Howitzer so uh so we all have a win there home against San Francisco week two loss loss I I even though San Francisco might be finally trending downwards and there's been some weird stuff with them this offseason with a bunch of their star players uh I think the Niners are just a better team and so this is a loss for me their first round pick just got shot too like and and thank God R man he survived and he I think was released from the hospital after being shot on Saturday on Sunday but yeah there's been a lot of weird stuff now um they they did get or they came to a contract agreement with iuk so he'll be back um I'm going to go with loss but I don't necessarily think this is going to be a blowout I think it'll be a close loss for the Vikings weird Vibes in San Francisco yeah iuk they did get iuk signed and it looks like Trent Williams is in the process of signing today that's right but then the piol thing that sometimes Vibes matter going into a season and the Vikings have found that out I think the Vikings upset the 49ers in week two here I think the I think the 49ers might be clawing their way just to get to the playoffs aging roster mcaffrey huge workload hamstring issue in the off season so give me the Vikings here little two and0 start for the purple Houston Texans week three home loss I I really like Houston this year I think they're really good going to be a fun storyline obviously Diggs coming back denil Hunter coming back a lot of fun stuff on the docket there but I I just think the Texans are really damn good and I think they're going to kick the Vikings butt I went back and forth on this I've gone back and forth here I think it's a win and here's why wow it's a home game it's a home game that place if if Vikings fans are in the mood and it's a noon game so it's certainly not a late afternoon or evening start but that place can rattle young quarterbacks and stad is just going into his second year there could also be aggression there and I think Brian Flores is going to take this personally as far as you know they got digs I took that personally person got St I took this personally I think he's gonna I I think Brian I think Brian Flor is g to cook up some schematics so I land on I guess what will probably be considered as far as the line goes a small upset win by the Vikings what what's he taking personally just the criticism of him well no just uh the the challenge like the challenge of stoud you know Stroud's this unbelievable quarterback he's going to be and and I I think I think Stroud is still at the point in his career where he is you know again defensive coordinators had all summer long and spring long to watch tape here film so I think they could throw some very interesting looks at young CJ St this team is a beast man I mean their weapons Nico Collins Stefon Diggs tank Dell they got well cam acres is going to have all the inside secrets for Houston right Houston now Joe I'm going to say it's a loss at home to the Texans here and that brings us at Green Bay week four gentlemen uh it's another it's a rough start for the Vikings so it's a loss for me loss in Green Bay for right now luckily this is not a December trip to Lambo but it's still a trip to Lambo regardless and I have this as a loss so Vikings are one and three out the gate for me 2024 agree completely loss loss it again could be close but I just can't I can't predict a win here um of course I am assuming that the Jordan love who played what the last eight games the last eight games were great I'm assuming that that is the Jordan love that starts the season now for the Packers but yes a loss feels like a loss here feels like maybe Sam darnold gets a little overwhelmed in a couple bad turnovers or something just I don't know the Vibes don't feel right for this one uh that brings us to the London game on Sunday October 6th against the Jets Aaron Rogers Rogers Rogers uh W Vikings snap their three- game losing streak they get a win going into the buy it's on neutral Turf I just as of now I'm not a big believer that Aaron Rogers is still him and that the Jets are going to be scary now that he's back uh now we'll see what happens with the Jets when the season starts but if you're asking me today I think the Vikings can beat the Jets so it's a win for me I think this is a 14-6 loss Jet's defense is outstanding and they're going against darnold um who I think the one thing about Sam that we are going to see and we've talked about this from the practices I watched is when he gets pressured it can be a problem he can make some very foolish decisions I know that the game is in London but I still think that Sam is going to see the Jets and think I can prove something here he has the weapons to do it I don't know he has the intelligence so I see this as a as as as like a 14-7 loss with the Jets def defense absolutely having a great day this is the KOC guiding Sam darnold to a Revenge game game I think also Brian Flores makes 40-year-old Aaron Rogers life miserable so I'm going to maybe I should put this all and write that down PR Vikings win this game Kevin oconnell helps guide Sam darnold through a really good defense and we get a sideline blowup between Aaron Rodgers and either Robert Salah or or Garrett Wilson but we get like a London sideline blowup that features Aaron Rogers in in some capacity love this Vikings win the game and then they get the bye coming back from across the pond only to host the Detroit Lions home probably a Kenny Albert game noon on Fox it's the Lions and the Vikings from US Bank Stadium so we we get the announce like we know the announcers but we usually don't get assignments till the week before right that the we of correct that's usually how that works God I can't wait for for that um I'm going to say though for this game that this is a win I think the Vikings surprise us they come out the buy I don't believe they'll lose all these home games either uh cuz right now I have them losing their first two to the Niners and Texans and I think just by the law of the Vikings surprising us a little bit in one of those three games I'm going to pick it against the Lions against their divisional flow it's a win for me I agree de win win I think Detroit is um good I think Detroit should win the division I think Detroit is good still but it's a division game it's at home you had essentially now what two weeks to prepare so I'm going to go with probably what is considered for the Vikings a rare home upset of the Detroit Lions in their history you know on paper this looks like it's you know it's probably a loss right the lions are a really good team but but when you factor in Vikings get the extra week of preparation and the lions in the previous week are playing a national Spotlight game at Dallas so they're going to be Allin preparing for that coming out of their bye and they're traveling again back-to-back Road games I think this is a schedule win for the Vikings so I'm going to say they beat the Lions as well coming out of the buy and that brings us to a very short week Thursday night football at the Los Angeles Rams week eight loss loss I I I think the Rams are going to pop back up here I know they made the playoffs last year but it feels like Matthew Stafford still has a lot of good football left in him short week sha McVey love the storyline K sha McVey but loss for me on a on a Thursday night football game speaking of schedule wins and losses this is a schedule loss you play on Sunday our prediction is that the Vikings win and then you have to travel to the West Coast yeah that's brutal turnaround not good Rams good enough this is a loss yeah the Rams feel like I I think the Rams win their division Shawn McVey Matthew Stafford for another year here a couple great weapons on offense so yeah for all the reasons you guys mentioned I'm going to say it's a loss here but then you get sort of the the half by week to prepare for a home game against the Colts in week nine the eighth game of the year and you Trail 40 rip this time you guys forced me to leave so we can start vent line and you come back and win Jeff Saturday ain't walking through that door to save the Vikings here Matt Matt Ryan ain't walking through that door to save the Vikings here Dex home against no I was I was move I had another window up to move that schedule down but uh I will have a win against the Colts Colts are going to be a fun team to watch I think this year but I have this as a win for the Vikings coming off a short bye they can get a win back at home they're four and four right now on my schedule hate to be boring but I agree I I think they come back then to your point Phil a week plus off now to prepare home game I I think we all expect that the Vikings will be by this point in time probably at least a little bit better than the majority expected so I'm going win okay this is every schedule has like a game or two that looks like it should go one way on paper and then it goes the other way right the Colts are one of the I think most under talked about teams in the NFL Shane Sten did an unbel able job with that team they had nine wins last year nobody thinks about it with rookie Anthony Richardson for like four games and then career backup Garder muu and he's out there Shane Sten first year coming over from Philadelphia so I think even though the Vikings get some extra rest here compared to Colts who are playing back-to-back Road games I think this is a game on your schedule where yeah you're totally going to beat the Colts at home on extra rest right I'm going to say it goes the other way and a well- coached underrated Colts team wins this game all right plus Sam Darnell could just like short circuit at any point in time and you know throw three interceptions that's my guess against the Jets so yeah I don't dise so okay now we go into a brutal stretch in terms of travel three Road games here starting with at Jacksonville week 10 all right I'm not as high on the Jags as others um I'm not but to assume that the Vikings can go in there and upset them I think is a little farfetched right now so I have this as a loss in Jacksonville yeah I'm assuming that uh unlike a year ago Trevor Lawrence will not suffer some type of sprained ankle or something that will either preclude him from playing or turn him from a really good quarterback into a very mediocre one I'm going with a loss to the Jaguars yeah I'm so I'm tail spinning here this is a loss for me I am very high on the Jaguars very high on Trevor Lawrence that team was eight and3 fighting for the one seed in the AFC before the high ankle sprain last year to uh Trevor Lawrence and everyone just kind of writes him off but they have a Super Bowl winning head coach they have one of the most talented quarterbacks who's probably got another step to take um Brian Thomas Jr they drafted out of LSU they got some interesting weapons so I've got three straight losses now the season is spiraling and now we've so that's the ninth game we've got the second half of the schedule here but uh let's talk about Underdog here Dex tell the audience about one of your favorite places absolutely Underdog fantasy going to also be a fun team to watch this year but of the three Road games the Vikings can win I think this one is the most winnable of this stretch so I have it right now as a Vikings win I am waiting to see on the Titans I'm not convinced yet and so yes I think the Vikings will get a win against the Titans man the the Titans are another team that they they did a lot of interesting things in the off season they made Moves they've got at running back they've got is it uh Tony Pard and Taj sharp now replacing Derk Henry one of the more I think underrated teams to watch kind of like Jacksonville but I'm going to say Vikings go into Tennessee and snap their losing streak that I have them on so it's a win for me at Tennessee and that brings us to Soldier Field November 24th the winds are blowing off the shores of Lake Michigan at Caleb Williams and Company loss I have this a loss is a windy brutal game in Chicago might be your classic what 1714 running the football ball lot slugfest with the windy condition day in Chicago but I have this as a loss for the purple two teams I don't love and and so what I ordinarily do in situations like this with an NFC North Rivals I just split the series so I'm going to go with a loss as well not because I think the Bears are great I just don't necessarily see the Vikings sweeping the Bears this is another schedule loss in some ways in that the the Vikings are coming off the they're they're Road weary they're coming off a third consecutive Road game and fourth Road game in a month going back to the Rams game on that Thursday night and the Bears are playing their third of three consecutive home games here so the Bears are much more well rested the schedule tilts toward the Bears here and the HomeField advance so I will go Bears so Vikings lose this one and now the Vikings come back home so they go three straight Row games and then three straight home games starting with home against the Cardinals on December 1st hopefully this is probably I think the game on the home schedule side for the Vikings that fans probably think is the easiest one on paper I have this as a win but we might be falling into classic Trap game fashion here looking at this early in the year maybe the cards bounce back but right now I have the Vikings winning this game this game was in Arizona I might pick the Cardinals but it's not and I consider as I went through this exercise to put this together I consider this month to be the Revival and then the fall so I'm going to call this one a win I think the Vikings do definitely get hot in this three-game home stretch a win for the Vikings it's another one man sneaky here and the Cardinals are going to be a full year of Kyler Murray you got Marvin Harrison Junior I'm going to say I'm going to say it's a loss I'm going to say this is a loss tough one so they're going to so this will be their second straight home loss Colts Cardinals people kind of freaking out here should Kevin oconnell get an extension coming up next on purple daily yeah if it if if if he hasn't signed one now we're getting very nervous okay now one of the one of the games that we've all had circled the Atlanta Falcons Kurt Cousins maybe maybe Kurt Cousins we'll see 36 Achilles Michael penx but week 14 December 8th home against the Falcons uh assuming the you know noon game Slayer and Kirk Cousins is healthy for this game I have this as a loss for the Vikings I know everyone's very high on the Atlanta Falcons they bring in Kirk they're finally going to finally get that offense over the hump after the buffoon Arthur Smith is now gone uh but I think the Falcons are just a better team so I have this as a loss for the Vikings let me take you inside the um the the meeting room rooms at TCL the week before this game where Kevin oconnell and Brian Flores get together and like superheroes join forces because they know the Kryptonite of Kirk better than anybody the Vikings win this game yeah all right I'm with jut on this one this is I mean this is Superman going back to the Kryptonite cave man the Viking the Vikings know they can take that kirco chains necklace replace the bling with some Kryptonite they know exactly where the bodies are buried they know exactly how to fluster him Kevin oconnell sort of made Kurt Cousins into this late game fourth quarter comeback Master he created he created him in the lab and now he will destroy him in that same lab US Bank Stadium Vikings beat the Falcons a Revenge game he's alive and then home against the Bears Monday Night Football Monday December 16th I have this as a win I have this as a win against the Bears I think they're gonna split against Chicago and I think that's the best spot for the Vikings to get one of these wins back so I I have them splitting against Chicago Bears might be better this year uh but I'll have a split here it's a win for the Vikings I agree with Dean which in my world makes them at this point in time eight and six so Kevin oconnell is now now he is in the running for Coach of the Year Sam darnold has turned things around sure to get a big contract as I said the Revival before the fall so stay tuned but at this point in time they beat the Bears and I believe what was it a Monday night game or was it a Sunday night game last year at the bank where they lost this game to the Bears I think it was a Monday night it was prime time and that was an awful football game that game sucked hopefully this game much improved but the Vikings win this is another one where the schedule plays a role here so previously the Bears were playing a third consecutive home game while the Vikings were playing a third consecutive Road game just kind of felt weird now it's flipped so this exact time on the schedule when the Vikings have been home for like a month basically and the extra day on Monday night yep the Bears are Road weary having played at Detroit and at San Francisco the previous two weeks those are two of the most physical teams in the league too so you're just getting bludgeoned and pummeled at Detroit at San Francisco now they might be desperate for a win at this point cuz they're probably fighting for a playoff spot M but I'm going to say Vikings turn Caleb Williams over a couple times and they beat the Bears on Monday night so I have them Jud 8 and six I've got him seven and seven and Dex seven and seven seven and seven yep so all three of us have him in different paths going into the last three games of the Season clawing for playoff position and as it always seems to be at Seattle cold weather game the they always play at Seattle and it's always like second half of the schedule if not December it's not prime time at least it's not the the traditional Zim Sunday night game where they' completely melt down and Kirk would throw the ball backwards could be flexed at some point yeah could be so um at Seattle week 16 loss a loss I just late in the year Seattle's tough place to win at I have this as a loss they've won three consecutive games they are they are not a bad team as folks expected but they're not a great team and right now they're tired they're banged up they've won three consecutive they're feeling good and the worst thing that you can do in this league is feel good because that'll bring you down it's a loss yeah it's a loss for me too man I think Seattle could also be there's a few teams on this schedule where you're like ah Tennessee Jacksonville Indianapolis Seattle Falls in that category they are going to be competing for a playoff spot I know they had a coaching change but the last two years Gino Smith as their quarterback they've won nine games I think in both seasons right they're aren't they Co so like that could change things but yeah I think this is a tough game I agree so it's it's a loss for me okay home against the Packers Sunday December 29th noon on Fox on Fox um Vikings are seven and8 going into this game for me likely needing a win to really control their Destiny in the playoff field at this point but I think it's too much I think the Vikings are swept by the Packers this year I this is a loss they fall to seven and nine yeah worn down tuckered it's been good but it's over it's a lot I disagree I think the Vikings clinging to life showing fight showing good signs going into 2025 that hey this roster even without a high-end quarterback can fight its way I've got them beating the Packers so I've got them splitting with I think I've got him splitting with all three division teams uh well so far TBD on week 18 so I've got them winning much so we all have them eight and8 dean 8 and8 or no you've got them seven- n seven and N going into the last week of the Season yep and Jud eight and eight eight and eight okay so still some hope for my schedule for jud's schedule Dean they're probably just playing for for Pride at the Lions week 18 it it's a loss I don't see anywh man Campbell rests his starters unless maybe they lock up the number one seed before the game starts he won't yeah and he just he doesn't do that uh so at this point the Vikings seven and nine now maybe some things are weird in the NFC this year and an eight- win team can still squeeze their way into the wild card mix but at that point I I think it's going to be tough regardless so it's it's a loss for me there they go seven and 10 in my schedule pick it's a loss um 8- n but the day after that loss purple daily focusing on what would have happened if JJ McCarthy had been available to play and I think that there will actually be a lot of optimism and and the eight and six was a shocker but again attrition with injuries they wore out they really weren't a great team so I I think if I was to say right now 8- n but the prospect of McCarthy on the horizon for 2025 gentlemen you'd be pretty optimistic so I do not think that this year is a downer I think it sets the table for a lot of optimism next July when training camp starts yeah it's a loss for me as well Detroit Detroit's the better team Detroit's playing at home and Detroit probably playing for something they might be playing for the division depending on where Green Bay's at maybe seating Campbell's playing to kick your ass no matter what he just wants to kick your ass bite kneecaps so uh a feisty Valiant effort I actually have them starting four and two and then fading as the season goes on and going 8- n so the way in which that plays out people might not be thrilled but 8- n Jud eight- n and then Dean seven- 10 right correct yep bonus question bonus question does Sam darnold healthy let's say he's healthy the entire year does he start every game game yes if if healthy yes yeah he's good enough like he's I think if if they perform in this fashion as a team and go 8 n then some of my wild predictions about like a 100 passer rating or whatever like write that down stuff goes out the window but sure does he do enough to throw for 4,000 yards and yeah and it's and it's a brutal schedule in certain spots if all these teams stay healthy cuz like the the SP that you think are okay they home game against the Colts well that team's super competitive home game against the Cardinals okay well Kyler Murray Marvin Harrison Jr they've they've got weapons to deal with there's not that many game every team in your division is either really good or on the rise in Chicago the only real like resp bits on this schedule on paper are maybe like maybe home against Arizona but I just outlined why that's not the case every week there's there's not like gimme games on this schedule you don't get the Panthers twice you don't get the Saints teams like that sure and my biggest complaint I hate especially the second half how it's laid out you never should have a three-game homeand and a three- game Road Trip yeah like I absolutely hate that football the max two two on the road consecutively two at home consecutively I do not like the schedule at all from just a fan perspective yeah yeah and the Bears have the same thing as we outlined just flip flop across from I just don't like it yep you know uh one thing I love is prize picks yeah a couple of things one good news Jordan Addison was in full uniform with a helmet did the stretching now he didn't take part in the individual drills that I saw so I'm guessing that that when the uh first injury report which is not uh mandatory to be issued till Wednesday comes out he's going to be limited but he I don't know if it was badly but he definitely sprained that left ankle in a mid- August joint practice with Cleveland and in doing my sports stad detective work and looking at those ankles and saying is the left one spatted more you know more tape is heavily is there something on that one that screams are they hiding a walking boot does he have a cane what is going on with nothing like that nothing like that so both both of the ankles for Jordan Addison were taped up uh but I'm guessing he does play on Sunday against the Giants I guess my question is full goal limited but I think that we can be optimistic he's going to play now the bad news was off to the side on a side field where they do rehab work doing some running was Jaylen Naylor who we all know had a great training camp but we also know the big knock against him is his complete inability throughout the course of his career to stay on the field he's good when he can cuz I think that there is a case to be made that he might be the third receiver on Sunday if fully healthy breaking news from our guy Doogie I got some breaking news on Naylor and it's this it's not considered a big deal which means he'll probably be on the injury report like Addison on Wednesday he also probably can play so I don't know when he got hurt I don't know now now they did have they did have some type of scrimmage on Thursday which there was no access to to try to replicate game situations and and then had the weekend off so I guess when we see the first injury report the two things that I expect to see are are at least how much work and practice and we don't get the rulings on like questionable blah blah blah until Friday how much work and practice did those two guys do yeah and then the other thing that wasn't necessarily a practice note but we haven't really touched on it jiren Hall officially a member of the Seattle Seahawks practice squad um let's get into that just for a few minutes here sure do you feel like I mean I the Vikings wanted him back but they obviously liked Brett rip and if if it came down to like last year we have to use three or four quarterbacks throughout the course of a season right because it's not like you're starting on like at least last year they went in thinking thinking Kurt Cousins is really good and really durable so we probably don't need to go too far into our bag of backups yep so can kind of keep jiren Hall around and develop him right well they found out pretty quick that they're flying Josh dobs in they're throwing jiren Hall into a fire and with less reliable Sam darnold being the first point of attack JJ McCarthy's already out they trust Brett rippen to go into a game as the third quarterback on the depth chart more than they trust jiren hall right I think that's the case and on jiren Hall's front the Seahawks were interested in him during the draft Doogie reported that they even like reached out to the Vikings about maybe trading for him at some point in June or July and they only have two quarterbacks on their depth chart Gino Smith who's 33 and you can get out of that contract after the season if you're the Seahawks and then Sam Howell who is a sack and turnover machine not like a a long-term starting quarterback option so if you're jiren Hall it kind of makes sense there's not a JJ McCarthy blocking you here you're going to be third on the depth chart instead of fourth on the depth chart so I get it from his perspective but at the end of the day uh it's it's a fifth round flyer that wound up being a whiff for the Vikings in the 2023 draft it did and it's unfortunate too because that 2023 draft is now at least the back end so it's weird the 2022 draft the back end is still here the front end is gone the 20123 draft which was like five guys it's not a huge draft the back end is gone on Hall I think it comes down to this the Vikings made unfortunately for them some assumptions as you said including well KT cousin doesn't get hurt so we're fine and if you guys recall Nick Mullins injured his back in I think a preseason game last year he started the season on ir and was not eligible to return yet when cousins SC got hurt against the Packers therefore Hall was thrust in sounds to me like the wils were not thrilled and said this is not an excuse like you put in a guy that shouldn't be playing which I'm sure they acknowledged right so consider this to be I think from quazy and oconnell this is a lesson learned Brett rippen is not going to come in and tear things up if if he has to play if both darnold and Mullins can't play but they also would have the justification of saying to the wils hey the guy has played in games before and I think the one thing that okell liked about riing especially was he spent I think he spent last year with three teams and he started a game or two for the Rams so he has a knowledge of what oconnell does because of McVey so yes this is this is not like oh my God they got Brett rip and it's awesome this is more proving to ownership that you learned your lesson because jiren Hall flat out never should have had to play like that was not fair to jiren Hall last quick thing on this uh fans are going to see that last preseason game and say what do you mean he can't play the guy's mobile he had a couple big throws down the field is the comeback to that may maybe he's made some progress in the last year but the third preseason game against a bunch of dudes who probably aren't going to make the opposing team's defense is way different than an NFL defense with Brian Burns as an edge rusher or the 49ers in week two or denil Hunter coming in week three demo Ryan's dialing it up for the entire week to make your life hell right yeah and there's no scheme like those defenses go out and play no like they they've got as fundamental a scheme as possible possible but like you you did not see the Raiders the Browns or Eagles defensive schemes Hall you know he just wasn't prepared and it's not his fault he he was a fifth round pick the Vikings took for granted I think that Kirk would not get hurt and that proved to be a bad decision and and rippen provides just an insurance policy that I think says to the wlvs we learned our lesson yeah all right jud's practice not notes are going to be sprinkled in you're going to be doing some shows from like Wednesdays you might be posted up out there depending has been moved that too so it's very it's very fortuitous to the uh score North purple daily folks that look for jud's notes because I I think they practiced earlier last year so at times I couldn't go out there so yes I think we're going to get more Juds practice notes from watching stretching love it hey stretch great yeah look at those hamstrings that some partner strch going on over there that tight Chandler you should have seen how he stretched his foot
