serious henen hooker practicing is going to play on Saturday that's great news Carlton Davis hamstring it's not serious a lot of not serious injuries and that's great for the Lions that's great for the Lions there so again don't worry about the injury front as of right now yeah folks are starting to get banged up but they're not serious they're dinged up type of thing what's going on there many the year after suffering a significant injury that sucks for him as the NF the NFC North continues thank you for that Dragon fan Tim do you think that we should get another wide receiver I think we will get another wide receiver we're going to wait for cuts I've been saying if somebody doesn't stick out it's going to be probably Robert Woods if he gets cut from the Houston Texans so yes I have Absolut no problem them going that the Lions waved Maurice Norris nothing significant there for sure standouts in Camp Jared G looking great as usual Brian Branch looking amazing as usual lot of St Brown Jameson Williams all looking good we don't know at this point if the lions are going to play some of their starters on Saturday we don't know I would expect I well at least here here's my thought I I think that the Lions should play some starters I'd like to see Marcus Davenport out there because I want to see what he can do but when it comes to like the St Browns or the Jared goffs of the world I really don't need to see them in the preseason I just don't it's a 17 Game season it's long do you really want to put any sort of more bangs on these guys that are doing it all the time then you got the postseason and remember the lions were late in the postseason last year so they're not as rested as other players in the NFL world we went on the fcam championship game the only team that only two teams that have more is Kansas City and San Francisco so the Lions is got to be very smart when it comes to giving some of these guys some rest and I get I know you want these guys to be ready to go there is no rust by week one but these guys been doing in training camp I I trust Jarry gof St Brown I trust these guys not going to have rust but because they're just they continue to dominate it's what they've been doing dominating they just Domina it has not changed yesterday this hasn't changed in a long time they just continue do what they do so we know what we have in those guys that's just the bottom line so when it comes to me and I look at the situation I'm I I don't need to say Jared go what do you guys think should you do you guys want to see jarro go on Saturday do you want to see St Brown playing on Saturday I personally don't don't need to see it I I don't think they'll have rust I think they're good to go already but let let me see your thoughts in the comments Below on this one because that's that's the way that I see it but again I'm not excluding all starters I think again I'd like to see Marcus Davenport Levi Rique out there I'd like to see Jack Campbell get some more playing time obviously if Teran Arnold's dinged up or rres dinged up they don't need to play I I don't want I want them ready for week one but if they can't play they do need the Reps head and hooker can't wait I didn't think he'd play on Saturday he's going to be playing on Saturday and and Sai says nope they're good and proven I agree with you uh hen hooker I want to see him out there I want to see him getting some reps I want to see Jake fr getting some reps I want to see Nate subfield on the sideline holding a clipboard but that's not going to be the case because it is pre-season we uh everyone saying Juju Smith Shuster I again I'm I would be waiting for Robert Woods if he gets released over there from the Houston Texans or other wide receivers that could be available Woods makes the most sense there you got a continuity Jared G I think it would be a situation of Josh Reynolds 2.0 with Robert Woods I think that'd be the smartest way to go if released what should the Lions do for number three wide receiver kif Fran's your number three so number four I think that the lions are going to battle it out again uh for this preseason game but if no one sticks out wait for cuts I think that's the biggest thing that's going to be taking place is just waiting for other teams to make Cuts right there uh for wide receiver four and because no one's standing out you got to do it but again a lot of this does go on the quarterback and subfield was so bad it's really difficult to judge some of these guys so we really cannot wait for Live Action with a different quarterback to see if someone can separate themselves it's funny they talk about someone's got to separate themselves will you have subfield is your quarterback it's hard to do anything when he is so bad it's hard to judge it's irritating get rid of subfield he sucks it's just it's the plain and simple he brings nothing to the table I don't he he's making it difficult for these wide receivers and we can't judge it if you ain't got a competent quarterback give him the football a niney out route and he misses them by two yards anybody can make that throw it's unbelievable it's absolutely crazy Lions went following yesterday subfield never hit a pin yeah he he subfield is the definition of 710 split that's what he is if you think of think of of of him it's a 710 split again folks I'm going Robertson significantly up Manel Mosley is injured Jake Bates up even though he missed an extra point yesterday he is up Jack Fox great Jack Fox always great khif freman great Craig Reynolds great Donovan peoples Jones is a k is a punt kick returner e khil dorsy up so that's my list right now in the comments that I got going on there kept to the lines the backup Colin Kaepernick is not going to don't think that the Lion's going to do it at this point I don't believe so because of the money I think they will not do that that's just that that's my personal opinion here so I'm going to say I that's the type of year he's going to have but uh this year is he a threat I think they're going to get like nine wins so that's a threat I don't think the Lions are Going to sweep the Chicago Bears I have to wait till we're getting close to the trade deadline to know this just because you think A team's going to be bad does it necessarily they're mean they're going to be bad there's teams that you think are going to be good that are going to be bad so I I don't know I that is impossible to for me to say right now and making a trade deadline trade Lions generally are not extremely aggressive like Donovan peop Jones we traded for him was a six round pick okay they're generally they didn't do a Montes sweat a second round pick trade they didn't do a a Chase young I think he was a third round pick I can't remember so it's it's really impossible for me to predict something like that now if you're talking about players who get released from teams that's going to be really intriguing because we there's going to be some veterans that's released that the Lions could pick up um there's going to be players that get placed on the waiver wire and unfortunately the lions are going to be at the very end of the waiver wire on that uh so Robert Woods is someone that I've been saying if he's released that makes great sense for Detroit or the Lions could like if he's going to get released the lions trade a conditional seventh round pick or something like that right to get a guy um so if I were to say I know what they're going to do I'm BS that would be BS and lying to you I have zero knowledge of that um and I have no reason to just say something just to say something um let's see random prediction for a player I did that one which rookie is a better season racer or Arnold oh tyan Arnold's gonna have he's going to be on the field unless he's injured he's gonna be in the field the whole time basically um so it's going to be tyon Arnold and R Ro gun's a backup he's not a starter and amek Robertson is playing a amazing right and he's a nickel uh and then you got Carlton Davis be the outside so I'm going to go there but make no mistake about it I love R draw he's higher right FR was come here with henen hooker intentions and C subfield blows look I don't care what you do in practice a quarterback has a red shirt on that means do not hit me so he can stand in the pocket and practice and just be patient right cuz he's not worrying about getting hit but in a regular season game look how panicked he was in the pocket he looked like he looked like a passenger who's been on like we talk about this wide receiver roles there's so many balls can go around folks on offense you have five offensive lineman generally speaking right a quarterback that's six players you only got five players left to put on the field you're going to have St Brown you're going to have Jameson Williams that leaves you with three you're going to have a running back that's a David Montgomery and if you wanted to put jir Gibbs in there you know as a wide receiver okay that's leaving you with basically another wide receiver or if you're you're wanting to go just having one running back out there you have a a jir Gibbs then you got khif Raymond so you just got one of the spot left of course could be Sam leaport right so there's just so so if you're to make a trade you're to make a trade this player is not get probably get the amount of time that they want to get right they they probably want to be on the field more it's just not going to happen with the Lions they have so much talent it's hard to do so and so that's why I think that's another reason why the Lions don't trade for some of these players they know these players want to be in a better position right they want to be maybe I want to be the guy at wide receiver well you're not going to get that Detroit we already got two guys you know well I want to be the running back well you're not going to do that we already got two three guys yeah well I want to be the Titan you're not going to do that we got a Sam leport and Brock rght we paid a decent at reasonable amount to so it's really impossible dude hey he rocked fort down you should have backups that are reliable right and if subfield cannot get wide receivers the ball why is he on this team it's pointless so I don't want to see I don't have no reason to see exact same what we saw on Thursday is exactly what we've been seeing for years with subfield there's nothing there maybe he good in practice but he's terrible on the field this is nothing new this was not just a a game this is what he's been doing forever it's just the like is and when you cannot do a nard out route and get the football within two yards I don't care if it's stormy or raining nine yards is not it's not a big pass it's just not Lions Forum or uh he played quarterback in in college he could do that okay and he I I think he was a D3 school right so he could do that that you guys could do that I I literally was talking to my girlfriend's kids 15-year-old and I said she could pass that pass I play I I played football with her eight-year-old daughter who passed better passes I just it was absolutely stunning and that's why you seen Dan Campbell like it was just mindboggling because it's true it was mindboggling what about Isaiah Williams yes yes yes that's who I'm watching get a better deal than veteran minimum so they could be waiting on injuries so it may not just be the teams it could be the players themselves always say that I agree with you Joe joeo um wide so you're like so it is important right because we know we're going to have injur injuries happen every year St Brown missed the game last year right Jameson Williams was suspended he missed games
