Warhammer 40k Space Marine 2 - First Reviews w/ Metacritic & OpenCritic Score REACTION (YES!!!!!)

all right people what's up everyone welcome to another first reviews reaction video with your big boy buddy Gore I'm here to take a look at the first reviews for Warhammer 40K Space Marine 2 which I would be lying to you if I said I wasn't excited for this one uh technically it comes out tomorrow I did pre-order the um $100 Gold Edition but it's not going to get shipped anytime soon it seems like I don't think Amazon's shipping it which really sucks I pre-order it like two weeks ago and they're just like it's coming September 13th for some [ __ ] I'm like why that's that's after the regular version comes out cuz I I wanted to steal I'm not going to lie I wanted the steelbook and I wanted the season pass cuz I have a feeling I'm going to love this game this is like one of those games where I see it every time I'm just like as long as it feels good there's no way I'm not going to love this game I really like the first game I'm not even a Warhammer guy at all it just looks like a fun [ __ ] game so uh I'm expecting pretty good reviews I'm going to go probably low 80 I'm gonna say 80 exactly 80 oh we're only go look at open critic too I should say because I know the the um Joker F do reviews came out and uh I want to keep these two reviews separate because um well let's just say like I looked the see and uh it just I wouldn't be able to fit it as a title even if I put Space Marine 2 and Joker fad do which Rhymes um and then put like first reviews Rotten Tomatoes and Med it would it would be too long of a title so we're just going to keep them separate and also I don't need the video to be like 30 minutes long so let's check Che out Space Marine 2 first I already uh bookmarked open critic so let's check it out I'm guessing 80 so let's go oh oh I opened oh man I bookmarked the wrong thing okay because I I kind of did it by doing this because I want to see okay okay 83 it's a little higher than I was expecting all right that's good too that's better than 80 okay so all right let's check this out uh that's about what I expected I'm not going to lie uh also I I should have mentioned I forgot to say like I already saw two reviews there there was no scores or not I didn't see two reviews I saw Gman lives post a video that said it was really good and then I think it was Jerick the dragon is that the YouTube channel said pretty much the exact same thing in the title so I I knew to expect good things also the game looked really good I don't know it's like I I I was very not worried about this one uh space r 2 is a solid successor to Space Marine fits well into the Warhammer universe and offers engaging and fun action combat and shooting mechanics is slight mared by a limited map Pool creating repetitiveness in the game's multiplayer progression oh okay I was wondering if it was going to be good the multiplayer uh Warhammer 40K was a blast from start to finish only held back by limited accessibility offering and some technical issues okay I mean I guess that's fair I don't know if every game needs to have the accessibility features but I mean they should have them I don't I don't know if they should they they deserve to have have Nega like like a point subtracted if they don't have it in there I don't know I guess that's up to the people uh that actually need him to really judge Space Marine 2 is everything we expected it to be bloody chaotic and fun with an amazing with with an amazing Gunplay and amazing operations you will have a blast slaying and crushing tyrano Tyran tyranids tyranids tyrano uh all right 7.5 overall despite some issues space Mar 2 is a very valuable game for two groups of players first those who love Warhammer and all will all greatly enjoy immersing themselves in games world and second Gamers who are interested in Co-op experiences that can play Space Mar 2 with their friends I don't have and in this case some of the games problems such as AI weaknesses are less noticeable the brutal and act bloody action along with the appropriate atmosphere of the games world and operations mode are other positive feat operations mod is that the um is that the competitive multiplayer if you enjoy exciting action titles you will probably also greatly enjoy Space Marine 2 review Persian oh my favorite Pokemon um or is that Persia no it's Persian that's the evolution of meow right meow that's right uh 40K Space Marina is a non-compromising brutal action game that sabotages itself with its clunky melee oh okay wow 8.4 I wasn't expecting we're going to get right into some negative luckily the Fantastic presentation it does look really good as well as the love for detail deliver a very satisfying experience for warmer 40K fans furthermore Co-op enthus Enthusiast get a great experience with the campaign some additional ah missions cool cool cool cool uh wait they get additional missions if they play coab oh I didn't know that [ __ ] uh saber interactive takes the reign of a sequel that re refines their foundations the original gives them dude saber interactive is doing like way too many games they I don't even know how they do it they have like so many games they they're making right now or have made recently and [ __ ] aren't they also making um didn't they like pick up the uh development of an art game um [ __ ] I want you I'm look they did Evil Dead right um no they did something else recently I swear to God they like came back and said we're developing it didn't they develop wait hold on before I look they're making um [ __ ] I forgot never mind let's see what do what we got here I have to scroll down cuz [ __ ] release day order thing was not working are they're doing the quiet place game there go they're doing a toxic Commando game which actually makes total sense uh Expeditions game that just came out Kingdom Come Deliverance on switch okay I don't know they ped that tear down on on consoles okay they do a lot of ports I know that Space Marine 2o oh they're doing that Jurassic Park Survival game which is funny considering it looks very much like um a Qui Play Store like it just has that same Vibe I think aren't you playing a girl with glasses too in that game so that's funny um Star Wars NSO Republic remake I forgot they actually work on that and they're doing a painkiller game oh [ __ ] a new painkiller is coming oh [ __ ] didn't they just do something else though I swear they did they do World War Z which makes sense why this game oh they made oh they they codeveloped Quake Champions I didn't know that oh my doctor said when I'm my tooth is healing you should try not to sneeze too much but that's uh not [ __ ] happening obious cuz PO is Sneezy anyway okay anyway presentation fascinating solo but designed for cooperation okay all right considering the entire package maybe I'll just like join up some random ass people considering the entire package Space Marine 2 sets a new high bar for Warhammer 40K games Warhammer 40K Space Marine 2 is the best action game that rep represents the Warhammer universe so that's saying a lot cuz people love uh verman tide right Warhammer 40K Space Marine 2 off a thrilling campaign when engaging postgame Grind Mode okay however the limited number of operations missions okay so operations is the the additional missions you could do in Co-op I guess and they'll probably add more to that later and the lack of replay value in the campaign May hinder the game's long-term appeal how about the competitive despite these flaws the games unless that's what operations is no I thought there was like in competitive mod I don't know the games authenticity and exhilarating action make it a must play for fans of the genre as 2024 is much needed Blockbuster hell yeah dude look at this 9 n n 10 9 8 8 9.4 778 okay the lowest score so far I've seen I think is a 7.5 wa yeah 7.5 is that it let me see any more reviews coming no that's it so far that's the lowest review that's crazy 7.5 is still good I don't care why anybody says I know some people see a seven go oh the game's bad I'm like what the [ __ ] uh warmer 40K 42 is a Polish respectful and epic sequel exciting gameplay but also one that loses some of his predecessor simple charm and humor really okay I know every time I hear them like die scum or whatever the [ __ ] they say for the emperor I don't know it's funny to me uh every Warhammer game recently has raised the bar quality and this has exceeded all those before even if you do not like Warhammer 40K is a fun solid shooter I mean I kind of like what I see a Warhammer 40K I'm just not into the lore as much as some people like a r like a running meat grinder I might I fight my way through everything the tyranid tyrannids and Chaos forces throw me throw at me the gameplay is simple and takes me back to a time where shooters were simpler than that's exactly what made me excited to play this I want to read this 10 space Mar 2 isn't just the game of the summer it's the game of the year offering unmatched quality from gameplay to Graphics the performance and overall package there's no better game so far and no weak spot to try and pick apart Die Hard ow Die Hard fans will love it new fans will adore it okay okay hey Luke over here [ __ ] getting me even more hyped is is an amazing epic ride through a glorious hellscape visal combat is matched by stunning Graphics to create a title yeah every time I saw this game it looked incredible I was like Blown Away by how good it looked uh to create a title that never relent in being as over the top as possible is one of the be one of my favorite titles of the year so far and one I cannot wait to dive back into as post launch content starts stream in yeah I'm I'm in bro I I I wish I got it tomorrow sucks Amazon hasn't sent to me hold on I haven't checked in a couple hours May maybe they maybe they shipped it you never know CU sometimes I do get that no sometimes it does happen where they say oh it's not going to get de delivered until like a week later and then they're like n just JK it's coming tomorrow don't worry about it fam oh even if it comes out Friday that' be nice even though that's also um astrobot which where's the astrobot reviews I just realized that come on Sony we all know it's gonna be a [ __ ] 10 out of 10 you might as well just let people review it anyway uh so there go that's the Space Marine 2 reviews um they're great and we'll take a look at Metacritic and the Joker fil do review when I look at the Rotten Tomatoes and then go to the Metacritic I'm sure it'll be right there on the front page so uh there you go warmer 40K Space Marine 2 it's looking great it's sounding fun there might be some little issues here and there some of some of it there might just like for the main criticism I'm seeing here is that there might be not as much content as some people would like but then other ones are saying no there's a lot of content I love it all I can't wait for more stuff to come out so them to be fair them saying I can't wait for more stuff to come out makes it sound like there's not that much content to begin with you know what I mean like if you're saying like I can't wait for more stuff to come out I'm like are you done with the other stuff are you really tired of it you know what I mean it kind of sounds like that um and not a lot of them talked about the competitive mode unless that's what that competitive mode is is the uh what the [ __ ] were they calling it uh the hell was they calling it they're calling call see but that sounds like it's just a operations mode maybe maybe operations mode is the let me see Space Marine 2 operations mode uh is connected to main story let you see how how some missions were completed while Titus and his Squad were off doing something else oh okay that's kind of cool I didn't even know that was a [ __ ] mode so what's the multiplayer it just called competitive multiplayer or does it have a fun little name it's called Eternal War that's great so how come none of them talked about that maybe they couldn't oh maybe the servers aren't up yet because I did notice that um Gamespot put up a work in like review in progress review maybe that's why maybe the servers aren't up yet well doesn't make any sense because people play co-op online no maybe the servers for that aren't up I don't know [ __ ] knows uh oh oh I didn't read this this is the best news 8 to 10 hour story that's what I want I don't need no 30 hour games anymore give me a nice 8 to 10 hour story mode if you enjoy shooting and action games value character customization appreciate small scale 12 player online competitions okay there you go and Miss 8 to 10 hour story campaigns of the Seventh Generation this game might be worth the $70 price tag especially if you're a fan of hmer 4K universe created by fans for fans the game successfully delivers on its promises despite a few minor technical issues if the atmosphere of the Warhammer 40K World appeals to you you're in for exciting experience so a lot of these reviews are foreign actually I just realized that too like German Persian Dutch um Dutch uh Turkish every time I say Dutch I need to say it like Arthur Morgan Dutch anyway we're done and that's it looks great I'm excited for it whenever I can [ __ ] play it
