IN FACT YOU SEE THE SUNLIGHT THAT'S POURING ON THROUGH AS WE LOOK LIVE OVER THE BEN FRANKLIN BRIDGE AND TEMPERATURES REALLY MAKING A BIG DIFFERENCE DEPENDING ON WHERE YOU ARE. SO I JUST UPDATED SOME OF THESE NUMBERS FOR YOU. I WANT TO SHOW WAS WE'RE LOOKING AT AROUND THE AREA. WE HAVE TEMPERATURES THAT ARE GOING -- WELL, MAYBE THEY'LL SHOW UP. THERE YOU GO. SURF CITY YOU CAN SEE AT 73 DEGREES. WE'LL LEAVE IT AT THAT ONE RIGHT NOW. LET'S GO BACK OVER HERE TO THE MAP BECAUSE I WANT TO SHOW YOU WHAT'S HAPPENING AROUND OUR REGION. WE HAVE THESE SHOWERS DOWN INTO OUR SHORE LOCATIONS AND THIS ONE IS THE ONE THAT WAS WARNED EARLIER. UP AROUND LONG BEACH ISLAND. THERE ARE A COUPLE EXTRA CELLS THAT ARE DEVELOPING. THEY HAVE OVER THE LAST 30 MINUTES THERE'S MAYS LANDING YOU GET BACK HERE OUTSIDE OF MILLVILLE AND VINELAND INTO CUMBERLAND COUNTY THERE'S BUENA. THESE STORMS ARE JUST PUTTING DOWN SOME RAIN. NO LIGHTNING REPORTED WITH THESE. SURE, THEY COULD GROW UP AND BECOME A LITTLE BIT STRONGER BUT RIGHT NOW PASSING SHOWERS FROM TIME TO TIME IN CERTAIN AREAS AROUND OUR REGION SO WE'RE WATCHING THAT IN OUR AREA. MOST OF YOU ARE DRY. CERTAINLY IF YOU'RE GOING WEST OR GOING TO THE NORTHWEST, YOU'RE GOING TO STAY DRY. UP TO OUR NORTH, THIS COUNTERCLOCKWISE SPIN AN AREA OF LOW PRESSURE. THAT'S DRIVING SOME OF THESE SHOWERS THE TAIL END OF IT IT IS MOVING OUT OF HERE AND IT'S GOING TO BE REPLACED BY AN AREA OF HIGH PRESSURE. AND AS THAT MOVES INTO TOMORROW WE'RE DRY JUST A 10% CHANCE OF SHOWERS BUT THEN OUR NUMBERS GO UP FOR RAINFALL. NOTICE WEDNESDAY INTO THURSDAY, IT'S NOT A HUGE CHANCE BUT WE ARE WATCHING WEDNESDAY NIGHT AND THURSDAY MORNING EARLY LIKE OVERNIGHT WEDNESDAY NIGHT INTO EARLY THURSDAY MORNING FOR STRONGER STORMS WHICH WE'LL GET TO IN A MOMENT AND THEN AS WE LOOK AHEAD TO THE WEEKEND, MAN, I HOPE YOU GOT IT ENJOYED THIS PAST WEEKEND LOOKING AHEAD TO LABOR DAY WEEKEND AT THIS POINT, NOT LOOKING THE BEST. WE ARE GOING TO WATCH IT VERY CLOSELY. NOW, TOMORROW WE'RE UP TO NEAR 90 DEGREES. BY WEDNESDAY, WE'RE UP INTO THE MID 90S. SO WEDNESDAY IS THE DAY THAT WE HAVE OUR NEXT WEATHER ALERT AND THE REASON WE HAVE THE NEXT WEATHER ALERT FOR A FEW THINGS. ONE, EXCESSIVE HEAT. AN EXCESSIVE HEAT WATCH THAT IS IN EFFECT FROM THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE. WATCH MEANS CONDITIONS ARE POSSIBLE. A WARNING MEANS IT'S HAPPENING OR WILL HAPPEN. SO THAT'S WEDNESDAY. WE HAVE THE POTENTIAL FOR STRONG STORMS AND DAMAGING WINDS. NOW THE TIMING FOR THAT, THE HEAT, THE TIMING WILL BE OBVIOUSLY LATE AFTERNOON EARLY EVENING FOR THE HOTTEST PART OF THE DAY. BUT IT'S GOING TO BE HOT THROUGH DID GOOD PORTION OF THAT DAY IF WE DEFINE HOT AS 90 DEGREES OR GREATER. STORMS, I SEE THIS RIGHT NOW AS A LATER EVENING STORM. 7:00 P.M. THROUGH 2:00 A.M. NOW WE'LL FINE TUNE THIS AS WE GET CLOSER THE NEXT WEATHER TEAM ALWAYS LOOKING LOOK THE I WAS MODELS BUT WEDNESDAY IS THE DAY I WANT ON YOUR RADAR FOR THE POTENTIAL FOR SOME OF THESE STRONGER STORMS. YOU GO DOWN THE SHORE LOOK AT SOME OF THESE TEMPERATURES THE WATER IS CERTAINLY COOL AND IT'S GOING TO HAVE A BIG INFLUENCE ON THE SHORE TEMPERATURES ONLY IN THE UPPER 70S THERE YOU GO SURF CITY DOWN TO ATLANTIC CITY. EVEN CAPE MAY INTO THE UPPER 70S AND LOW 80S. SO SHORE LOCATIONS SHOULD BE QUITE NICE. LET'S ROUND IT ALTOGETHER.
