Coral Club hello and welcome my name is Jane I'm a voyage director on the beautiful Odyssey in charge of all things entertainment and enrichment right now we're in the coral club which is going to be our fabulous nightclub with all kinds of entertainment dancing ballroom dancing Jazz Etc here we have all sorts of musicians we also have karaoke very important and then of course if it's a beautiful evening or a beautiful day like it is now we can go out through the patio doors and you can sit outside and watch the world go by whatever you choose to do on our beautiful [Music] Odyssey speaking of the Odyssey here we Exterior are outside in front of our magnificent vessel originally built in 199 three for kunard and was called the crown Dynasty it's had several different names over the years such as Crown majesty and more recently the Brar in 2008 it was extended and recently refurbished again in 2019 it's a beautiful ship inside and out it is 671 ft long it has a draft of 17.9 ft and is 24344 tons so let's go inside our beautiful home at Sea so here we are at the gang way it's just a short step away now for the adventure of a life time and a 3 and a half or should I say Perpetual the any kind of information related to the hotel operation you'll find right here with our wonderful dedicated staff hello welcome V Odyssey my name is Nana I'm a Guest Services representative here on board we provide our customer service to our residents 247 which includes checking process V assignment as well everything about information of medical facilities Spa facilities and as well what activities we have on [Music] board on V Odyssey it brings a whole new Business Center meaning to the word working from home home here in our wonderfully equipped Business Center you can rent your own personal office or you can just bring your laptop and we have a printing facilities and you can run your business right from the ship where you live so welcome to our beautiful Business [Music] Center so now we're at the destinations Destinations Desk desk where you can get all the information you need on the wonderful ports of call that we will be going to whether it's currency or traditions and Customs um what language they speak or if you want to go a little bit off the beat and track do something different then it's all this information is here currently we've got the carnival in Rio we've got Galapagos and we've got matchu Pichu absolutely fantastic but also this is my office as well back here and if you need to come and chat then just come and see me and we can go and sit over there and discuss whatever you need to talk about Gift Shop now currently this place is our Paperback book swap because the library is being used as a conference room and office but when we get the library back of course all these books will move in there and this is going to be your gift shop now gift shops on most cruise ships mean high-end watches and perfume but this shop is going to be just a Sury shop where you can buy toothpaste and soap and shampoo and conditioner and of course the everpresent Pringles and gummy bears but we have a list of things that you would like us to sell of course we can't sell all of them but we'll do our best to try and fit out this little gift shop for all your Sury needs so now we're at the next tune Tune Lounge Lounge which is right at the front of the ship or forward it's our biggest venue and we do um guest Entertainer shows with big named comedians or singers or magicians things like that we also have lecturers guest lecturers there might even be some folkloric shows from the Shor side for your enrichment and learning about the places we're visiting it's also a movie theater and occasionally we'll have the battle of the interactive sports like bowling and golf during the daytime it's nice and quiet and right at the front big picture windows you can sit and read a book it's a great venue whatever you choose to do here this is the medical center it's Medical Center located on Deck two forward and here on the door are the opening times let's go inside now and meet Muhammad hi my name is Muhammad I'm one of the nurses on board we have a doctor on board and uh another nurse to assist you with uh any medical emergencies that you might have and welcome to the medical facility Spa the spa at V Odyssey is the place for all the most wonderful pampering Pleasures you can imagine you can have your hair done your nails your feet you can have a massage you can sit in the sauna there is a steam room and of course you have our wonderful manager who's in charge of it all it's June hello [Music] [Music] Thistle Restaurant this is this is the thistle restaurant it's located on Deck four after or at the back end this is where you can have a Sumptuous dinner several courses and beautiful curated wine with a lovely panoramic view included [Music] [Music] Fitness Center so here we are at our beautiful fitness center which is located on Deck 7 AR here you'll find all sorts of equipment from weights to rowing machines and bicycles we have classes like yoga stretch Etc whether you want a six-pack or you just want to be toned and fit then come on on here and meet our wonderful fitness instructor shiras welcome everyone and welcome to the fitness center my name is shz all the way from the Sun South Africa and this is my favorite place to be on the ship the fitness center you will see over here we have some of our most common equipment we get which is the anerobic we got from chair press back machines and all the way to a setup machine I like this section because I'm able to show you exactly what to do and help incorporate it into your one-on-one training session moving all the way to what is some other people favorite activities and that's the cardio section we have ellipticals treadmills rowing machines as well as upright bikes but one of the most popular places to be what I've heard from everyone so far is to be in one of my fitness classes where we're going to do Pilates yoga scripted meditation and stretch but hang on just imagine one thing moving it all the way outside like I said this is the place to be doing all the glasses just imagine you waking up in the morning coming to a stretch glass and all you see behind me is all your favorite places ranging from my hometown in Cape Town all the way to the Caribbean Greenland Iceland you name it it's going to be all the way at the back Morning Light Pub so now we're in the Morning Light Pub this is your local you can meet for a coffee in the morning you can play darts we have quizzes we have wonderful ambient music from our cocktail pianist and of course you can get the beverage of the day cuz it's 5:00 somewhere cheers [Music] Palms Cafe this is the Palms Cafe and it's found on Deck 6 AF at the back of the ship it's our lovely Buffet where you have all sorts of wonderful treats breakfast lunch and dinner [Music] [Music] up next we're going up to deck eight to the pool deck follow me so now we're at the pool deck and Pool Deck this is going to be one of my favorite places it's Mike's bar named after co-founder and owner Mike peton this is where we'll have sport 24 24 hours a day so if you like basketball or soccer or skiing or horse racing we've got about 20 Formula 1 we've got about 25 Sports we'll also have the news and some music as well and of course gentlemen this is sort of going to be a little G gentlemen's club for you boys to watch your favorite sport around here we have two huge beautiful pools and jacuzzi we have pickle ball and table tennis and then on Deck nine right at the front when we have no light pollution in the middle of the ocean you can stare at the stars to your heart [Music] content so now we're in the observatory Observatory Lounge which is the lounge at the right at the front at the ship at the top on Deck 8 forward it has panoramic views so you get a marvelous um scenery of say Sydney Opera house or any of the one F places we're going to visit it has curated Beverages and a sophisticated element to it you can have parties in here during the daytime with lots of natural light you can come and paint or do crafts practice on the piano but of course in the evening we have entertainment in here with our wonderful cocktail Pianist on Deck eight after you'll also Grampion Restaurant find our grampion restaurant which is Cuisine of the world no matter where we go our chefs will prepare a taste of where we are from paa to cataplana to um Fusion rice and street food in Thailand it'll all be here in the grampion this Villa is one of our Suites Villa V it's so spacious and beautifully appointed it has a designated seating area a dressing area of course an enormous double bed and also great bathroom facilities but of course more importantly it has that lovely big balcony for all those beautiful sea views imagine what you could do with this amount of space in a villa V Villa [Music] sweet so here we are in a deluxe um balcony villa which is on Deck 8 forward this is a beautiful spacious cabin which has great balcony which wonderful sea views it also has a huge double bed lots of wardrob and cupboard space and in the bathroom you have a double sink a separate toilet and of course that ever important luxury bath so here we are on a deluxe balcony on Deck 8 forward beautiful sea views there's lots of room for tables and chairs and uh just to relax and Villa Vie enjoy this Villa is on Deck 7 it's a normal Villa it's absolutely gorgeous it's got lots of cupboard space it has a lovely bathroom and of course don't forget you can have it what however you wish you can make changes and add cupboard space Etc but you've got the lovely flat screen TV you can have the beds however you want them and of course that ever important balcony this is the balcony of a de 7 Villa a normal Villa on one of our lovely lovely places to live it's got lots of room you can get a table and chairs out here again for Great Outdoor Living with a SE view of course Ocean View Villa so here we are in an ocean view Villa as you can see it's beautifully appointed it's got a beautiful bed with a great view of the ocean you have lots of cabinet space you have drawers you have coffee maker and you have lots of you have bedside cabinets and of course the everpresent flat screen TV it has a nice bathroom um with a shower and a toilet of course and you've got the double wardrobes along the way there this is a lovely spacious cabin and a great place to live and don't forget you can have it anywhere you Inside Villa like this is an inside Villa of course it has a Sumptuous double bed a wonderful bathroom and toilet lots of cupboard space and of course although it may be beu it is the place where you get changed and showered and of course you sleep here but don't forget that the whole of the rest of the beautiful Odyssey is your living room f finally this is the AF end or the Aft Deck back end of the ship where decks 5 six 7 and8 are all available for you to enjoy on Deck eight out here you could just have a coffee and the same on six and five and of course on Deck seven is the outside of the gym so you can do morning yoga in the sunshine of course we'll also have sailaway from here um whenever we say goodbye to our ports of call but if you just want to sit out here during the daytime taking in the sights and sounds or the lovely sea views the choice is yours [Music]
