I just hope Paul Tracy doesn't take him out because he'll make a whole new host of enemies yes exactly oh he can get rough [Music] I love this all right so I think it's a great thing that uh Tony Stewart Ray everyone having the guys put together and the fact that it's gonna be on Thursdays now we've got so much more driver availability because guys are racing on the weekend you come in and race SRX on Thursday revive the old Thursday night shot it was just all kinda upside Dan Mercier coming at you right now out of Quebec Ross Pistons Emily motor oil the businessman I'm really curious and I haven't got a chance to go buy an Ask Hammer Rob winland but I'm gonna do that uh later on this evening so I'll know for sure for tomorrow but I would I'm wondering if this race was on Dan mercier's radar before the Epping event got pushed back because since he's qualified he's going to be racing in that the only way to do that got to come to Bristol and here he is we're glad to have it Rob wendland put out a plea if you will out on social media they were down a crew guy can anybody come out and help out so uh I do not know exactly but Mercier he's got a good race car formerly owned by Terry McMillan he's got Rob wendland who knows how to get the job done so he's got all the opportunity in the world they just got to put it together [Music] well yeah I mean they don't need to be working on the car now you can have a microphone like you take a runoff big deal you know I was part of Team Coletta one time you know what that gets you what lifetime invitation to the Christmas party [Applause] oh man that thing was hustling early and then just kind of overpowered the racetrack out there about where the second tunnel is you can see the blackbacks again if you're way up high in the grandstand but as the sun continues to dip the Shadows are going to get across Thunder Valley the track temp will come down and as more and more cars go down it's going to get better and better and better I think you're going to learn here in this first qualifying session how much you can get away with for about the first 300 feet and I'm just thinking I'm not that worried about it right now pulling the tires loose at five or six hundred feet because I know that's going to get better as the evening goes on let's go down to Jason Galvin well I just thought I'd go straight to the source and that's Rob Wonderland the crew for Dan Mercier what were your plans this weekend before Epping got rained out uh well it's gonna go home and go swimming this weekend with the kids but you know Dan says Rob you know in his Canadian accent says I don't think we should let Justin get away with one first round I said sure enough we better not I guess better go huh that's awesome that's good to have you here that's pretty good Canadian accent I wasn't ready for that I need to hear more of it Rob we got to keep keep going with that for the rest of the day I don't know what that was all about but man he did talk about it where's your 2K that was pretty good A few hosers that was pretty sorry Jason do they really call people is there a Canadian tequila company
