COSTCO CHRISTMAS SHOPPING + What I Got Cal For Christmas!! Vlogmas Day 21

it was the night before vlogmas went all through the house not a puppy was stirring not even a mouse cameras were charged by the outlets with care burnout looming above us help me I'm scared the puppies were resting cookies baking in the oven the calendar was stuffed with Plans by the Dozen as the night winds down we snuggle up in bed as the worries of vlogmas begin to haunt Remy's head all right REM it's your 10th year of vlogmas you ready I don't know I just keep feeling like something's going to go wrong you'll be fine okay good night good [Music] night oh my God that was just a dream good morning guys and welcome to vlogmas day 21 hello so we are currently in Mammoth if you guys missed the past couple Vlogs go watch them Alicia and I went skiing yesterday it was so much fun I am feeling great today I'm so excited we just woke up early got our Vlogs done they're already uploading for the day we are girl bossing in the morning and now we need to get ready to go home oh my goodness so obviously if it's vlogmas day 21 that means it's December 21st and I have so so so so much stuff that I need to get done between today and Christmas Eve um oh my God you scared am I scary looking I have so much stuff to get done you guys don't even know Cal's family is flying in on Christmas Eve so at least I have some time to get stuff done before then but we're also doing our Christmas celebrations we normally do Christmas Eve but we're doing Christmas day since Cal's family is coming in so late but before they come in I have to wrap presents I have to do the stockings I have to clean the house I have to prep so much food for the Christmas celebration so you know I thrive on this like I'm so excited you already know there is a lot to be done I'm so stoked about it I cannot wait I looked up just now and please see this it's snowing outside it's so beautiful so Alicia and I are going to quickly pack up our stuff and then we're going to go to the coffee shop that is mom's favorite Bakery is called I always called it shats but then that guy on the called it shots regardless my mom has been obsessed with the chocolate covered macaroon since I was a kid all my memories were like stopping there and getting a big bag full and then she would keep them forever so I am going to pick her some up I'm going to get some for Cal we're going to go get set off the bakery it's just so fun to see cuz it's huge so that's our little field trip you're so cute cute little you're such a good vlogger like I I just showed my door closed and then I was like but it looks cookies are also amazing look at this christmy looking pastry that looks amazing sandwich they're getting sandwiches over there I know I'm split I think I want to find something Savory for myself over here perhaps ooh these Bagels look good I'm going to get a loaf of sourdough to bring home this looks amazing I found these Dutch crunch rolls which I love Dutch crunch breads so much I'm absolutely getting these oh my God all these cookies look so good chocolate chip pound cake oh my goodness oh my God these pies also all these sugar cookies I love a sugar cookie let me find what I'm looking for though all these delicious pastries oh my God oh my God Donuts okay I'm getting myself a doughnut for sure they've got a Claire's little Tarts I love a fruit tart and then this is the money right here dipped macarons so good shats haul everybody they give you a free little thing oh you got a cookie I got everybody here a chocolate covered strawberry for dessert after our lunch I also got a cream puff cuz it looked so good got that and then everything else is to take home oh actually no I got one more treat Alicia got a buttermilk bar a glazed buttermilk bar this is for you your dessert I got a glazed donut but honestly I saw the cream puff after and I wanted the cream puff more so I'll bring bring this home and have this tomorrow then they make their own candy in house and a lot of people told me on the list of stockings that they wanted peach rings and so I was like I feel like the peach rings here would be better than like the you know the ones you get at Target oh yeah so I got a couple bags of peach rings I also got Shane's favorite candy randomly enough gummy sharks he's like them since we were kids so I got him some gummy sharks and then oh I got the girl some bones I'll give your girls bones too cuz this is far too many and then I just got the Dutch crunch rolls which I told you guys already and then I also got the sourdough bread and then I got 20 macaroons between my mom and Cal they will crush those so that's all that I got Ollie bought me a sandwich you guys I got what did I get love the Santa Santa something oh and there's a pickle yeah oh my God I got Santa something it's like a cranberry Mayo with oh my God bacon and turkey I didn't think I wanted it and then as I walked away I was like you know what cranberry Mayo sounds bomb right now it was just a long line I was scared if I got out m then I would want just I was like I might as well just get something that's how I felt okay taste test on my Santa's helper sandwich I am Santa's helper well they're special you are Santa crispy bacon so good second little pit stop I've got to exchange a scratcher and look what they have up here if you guys have been watching my Vlog since my freshman year of college which was a decade ago you're in a secret Club who remembers my obsession with the foral smoothies they had like smoothie birthday cake butter they had milkshakes and smoothies this definitely contrib Ed to a large part of my Freshman 15 and I don't regret it it was absolutely amazing it was so fun to go pick out a new milkshake every day they've got cotton candy cake batter Snickers cool mint chip yum it's a bit too cold for that but as I told you guys yesterday Alicia's coming to my Christmas dinner now which is so exciting which means I need to get her a stocking as well as our friend Lexi so I got to get their candy for them too angles these Dragon sweet chili takis are Bal I'm kind of feeling a hot chocolate but I don't see one also oh my God they have so many to Costco actually because I am already like a couple days late on buying the turkey so we need to get to Costco ASAP to get the turkey I need to get the other stuff that we're cooking for Christmas dinner so there's a lot to be done and we're just going to make a quick little pit stop at Costco on the way home and then go home home it looks like Remy or [ __ ] that's going to be so funny it looks like Ollie and I will both be enjoying this turkey so obviously we're going to stop oh yeah so true but you've never had my turkey yet I haven't Ollie what do you think of my turkey I think it's sexy and juicy I'm biased cuz it's my turkey I know it's a best tury I've ever had so I think you're going to love it and she also doesn't like Thanksgiving SL Christmas food I think that we're going to change your mind I think we're going to change your mind criminal we have arrived back in La it's beautiful and chilly and rainy and there are two places that Alicia asks me to bring her every day and we're finally knocking off one of them the first is the Korean grocery store which we will get to eventually it's not going to happen babe the second don't lie to me the second is Costco I'm going to take her one day don't you worry don't you worry they act like a married couple and it is so interesting to watch they're holding hands now it's time to go in it's time oh no one's even here to only $5 $4.99 so fun fact they actually lose money on these but they put them in the back because you have to walk through the store to get it oh so and it's the best chicken you'll ever have in your life $4.99 sure you don't want one that's my dinner I think Costco is not doing turkeys for Christmas and that's why we're here yeah I don't see them I came last week and I thought they were going to wait to put it out yes I will ask someone no I was really hoping they'd have Kye here too so I didn't have to go all the way to the Korean store but they don't it's not my day at Costco they've let me down look at this mix of seawe snacks they have the little tempor ones Wasabi Tomy young hot and spicy I like these oh bless you oh my god what is this Maui onion flavored seaweed yep hard yes we found what's left of the Christmas section Cal did say we need more gift tape so I didn't get Cal a Christmas gift yet but I did find this and I think this is nice and functional he can use it every day the one that he has right now is like Rusty and not great so I got him a little trimmer situation and he can use this every day this looks nice honestly I think he'll like it look what we found now in case you could not guess I am in Hufflepuff house Ollie s what are you Raven cloth yeah she does I took quiz once I said Gryffindor and I wanted to take another one in case I was never griffing into though hello guys we are back home look what I came home to Cal set up my Christmas gift from Alicia for me if you guys missed this watch two Vlogs back Alicia got me this rolling TV monitor thing that's so cool you can watch it vertically or you can twist it to be horizontal this way and you can stream movies on it you can watch Tik toks on it I'm going to use it for all of the above and also tomorrow actually is when I'm going to use it first if I don't use it tonight in the bathtub honestly I might like watch a movie while chilling in the bath which sounds very nice I'm doing a live stream tomorrow where I'm baking live and so I'm excited to pull up the cooking with Remy website on here and have my recipe really nice and big so I can see the exact measurements and everything because I obviously don't remember everything by memorization or by heart so it's nice to be able to refer back to this so that's really cool I'll just wheel her out also C's currently at the store and he picked up the turkey for me he went to a different grocery store and they had turkeys there thank goodness so we're good on that front and yes I'm home I'm so happy to be home but I had so much fun I love Alicia and olly so much being able to spend so many amazing days of vlogmas with my best friends AKA Lauren am Mia and then Alicia and olly has been such a blessing and I have been having the best vlogmas ever and speaking of best vlogmas ever I have today's small business haul oh also so it's 6:15 p.m. right now Cal will be home any minute we're going to eat some dinner and then I really need to clean like the house is chaotic there's like presents everywhere and just it looks crazy in here and I want to get the house clean as I told you guys earlier I have a lot to do before Christmas and I also need to prep for this live stream tomorrow but I also need to go to the Korean grocery store so I'm going to try and do that tonight but we're going to see if I have time or not but before we get to that today's small business haul so this comes from happy camper my friend Kim Tai actually told me about this company and it is so cute and then once I made my order they made the cutest Tik Tok about me placing order which was so sweet I got this adorable sweat set that I truly cannot wait to wear honestly tonight after I like finally shower and get all my makeup off and everything I will be living in this how adorable is this sweatshirt so I got a 2XL because I like my sweatshirts to be really comfy and roomy and just cozy if you can't tell it says Bride on it which I love this like nude base with the baby pink writing oh the washer on I was like what is that noise it's so cute it's a nice really soft fleece on the inside I love this it's just like a very cute crew neck and then I got the matching set pants with the little bride and pink on the hip so cute it's got pockets it's really soft this is amazing I cannot wait to wear these I will say when I checked out the site they had bride and then they also had wifey which obviously I'm not a wife yet so that's why I didn't get that one but super super super cute Kim said she got the wifey set and these are just adorable and I had to share it with you guys of course I will link happy camper down below and I am going to put these on once I'm showered and clean I don't want to put them on when I'm all sweaty right now but yes I'm going to wait for Cal to come home and then I will keep you guys updated throughout the night cuz we've got we got a busy night hello guys okay so it is later I have on my sweatsuit it is so so so comfortable I do have to say if you are looking for a more oversized like looser sweatpant I would size up a size right now they feel like a little bit more fitted on me I wish I'd gone up one size but that's okay they still fit they're super comfortable I mean they make my butt look cuter that's for sure since they're a little bit tighter but the uh sweatshirt is so comfy cozy I love it but hello it is significantly later now it is 10:00 p.m. I think I talked to you at 6:30 Hal and I ate dinner and then we tackled all of the boxes that arrived while I was gone so many PR things so many Christmas gifts we broke all those down got those recycled sorted through everything my office currently the downstairs office looks like Santa's Workshop like there are so many bags of candy and toys and presents and things in there and I'm going to be honest my really organized self really wants to uh get in there right now and start sorting through everything and just make everyone's stockings and wrap everyone's gifts but I've already planned out vlogmas and that's coming in a couple days so yes it has been quite a few hours I also unpacked from Mammoth I am about to start doing a big load of laundry from Mammoth I took a shower but everybody drink your water reminder five big sips here we go ah I now I have to show you two things first off I've got all my ingredients laid out for my peppermint Bart cookies that I'm going to be making on the Instagram live tomorrow so right now what I want to do is I want to bake off some of my dough that I previously made so that they're ready for you know movie Magic you know you watch a cooking show and they are like okay you're going to refrigerate this for 3 days and then they're like waa it's done movie Magic it was made 3 days earlier so tonight I'm going to prep some cookies so that they're ready for tomorrow tomorrow but then I'm also going to get all my measurements and things ready for the actual live tomorrow so I don't have to spend time you know measuring things I can just do it now and do some prep second thing I want to show you look what I got set up this is Ryan if you guys aren't watching Ryan Christina she is truly like one of my new favorite vloggers I'm obsessed this thing is so cool so I have it all set up now where I can watch YouTube like this obviously amazing so fun for when I'm cooking or anything and then and I pull up Chrome look at this I went to cooking with Remy and I have my whole cookie recipe right here obviously this is not necessary but Alicia Marie I'm so grateful for any gifts you give me and also this one is just really cool I'm going to use this all the time so I've got this all set up here so I can get everything ready for tomorrow let's start off by baking up the cookies I will say I'm so bummed in this recipe if you guys remember I found that giradelli bag of it was like a peppermint bark pieces dark chocolate or semi sweet chocolate chips and white chocolate chips and that's what I put in this OG dough and then today broe went to the store to go try and find it she couldn't find it anywhere I found that the closer it gets to Christmas Even by like December or the first week of December things are just gone people start shopping for that stuff in like October November so we weren't able to find the actual mixins that I used with this recipe but we did find just giradelli Square so I'm just going to use some of this and then I'm also going to use some of the Costco peppermint bark so it's going to be delicious either way but I mean this is like the next it's kind of the same thing the bag was literally giradelli I'm sure it's the same stuff but let's bake up some of these [Music] cookies look who's back hi Vlog okay I need you to close your eyes Okay I'm going to feed you something face the camera yeah I'm going to feed you something okay and you're going to react and tell me your thoughts and also what you think of the flavor I'm going to put in your mouth okay 1 2 3 oh you got to just eat the whole thing wa what do you think it is what does it taste like I do not like that at all beer flavored potato chips oh no wonder it tastes awful craft beer but you love beers I thought you'd like them and you go in for more beer and potato should not mix are you kidding aren't aren't they like a thing that goes hand in hand don't you like eat chips and drink beer at the same time isn't that a thing what beer flavor is that it's like sour I thought beer was Sour like that crazy oh my God it's like almost too lifelike though so we tried a bunch of it feels it it tastes like beer uh but it's super sour isn't that so crazy though we were eating all them yesterday and we were saying they just taste so realistic I mean I'm going to eat them oh okay you don't have to eat them you know I just wanted you to try one chip it's like the wildest flavor it's so cool they do such a good job with it it's so crazy if you don't enjoy it stop eating it you weirdo it's so intriguing it really is I just want to keep going all right guys all the cookies are rolled out I'm just baking them all because I have a dish over here that I want to put the cookies in that I want to put the cookies in so I am now going to top it with my little peppermint bark pieces and some flaky [Music] [Music] salt [Music] a [Music] all right I burned one of the bottoms of the batches of cookies this one if you can tell these both were in at the same exact time this one just got a lot more Brown almost burned but like almost perfect too than these ones I like more Kakey cookie so this is like perfect for me but I don't know what happened I think the oven was just like a little too hot for that batch and then the other one was completely burned at the bottom so you know trial and error all is good I have all my ingredients laid out here and I have it in little aisles of like starting with the sugars and the butter moving on to the extracts and the corn syrup then the dry ingredients and then the little mix in so I'm ready for my live and now I have chocolate on my finger M all right guys on that note I'm
