Olympic Judo with David Beckham's 'Bodyguard' (Coach)

watching the Judo at the Olympics I decided to find one of the hardest guys in London he's a black belt at Jiu-Jitsu a black belt at Judo he's also done some fighting so today we're doing Olympic Judo with David Beckham's security guard we've got Paul Alma joining us it is his birthday today we're going to have a bit of funy hey how you doing you good happy birthday brother hey let's not say it too studying that stuff man so it's all about your grips two things right your stance is everything you're right-handed yeah you'll have your right foot forward always so you know in fighting you go Orthodox with your left foot forward it's totally different than Judo your right fo's forward and then you have your hick and your C you have to get sleeve grip and after you get the sleeve grip you're going for your power hand power hand the grips are everything fight for a good grip soon as you get a good grip you start your ashy weer get the legs moving a little bit soon as you're off balance can send them it's beautiful I'd like it more than J Jitsu once you get somebody and you send them it's over you know the way Jiu-Jitsu you don't actually have to be strong it's very slow yeah yeah Judo man you've got to be fun [Music] explosive yeah you're in the danger I think that's what it is as well you're in danger they always say that in Judo people are in danger like people are you know in Ju Jiu-Jitsu and you're doing stand up and people are holding back like that yeah in in Judo you you get into it and then you either get trone or troll but beautiful and Judo guys I met a lot of Judo guys in like Serbia anytime you told them like you do Jiu-Jitsu they kind of laugh at you may they kind of look at you like you're soft May sometimes I feel it in Jiu-Jitsu now I watch them when I'm standing up and I just sit down bro when you're confident stand up changes everything bro I'm ready for anybody standing up now you know what I mean my my confidence standing up just from doing three months with Bobby we're we're going with Bobby now aren't we yeah we're going with me and Bobby now so I reckon he's going to put on the show today as well M does a bit of CrossFit at the them and hoder started doing some stuff with us so he wanted to improve his standing and I needed desperately to improve my ground so I was on bri team from 15 to 30 took a little bit of time out after the Beijing Olympics just missed out in Beijing history is that way judo's very old you got Japanese Jiu-Jitsu and then Brazilian jiu-jitsu is off Japanese kind of all kind of originates from Judo from Judo like that's the call right I'm going to say as far as yeah no exactly but then you have there's the martial art and then there's a sport right even within itself as martial art it changes once it becomes a sport put the white belt on man I am I not allowed to wear this by the way you can wear whatever you want yeah what you mean he usually watches right he's on the sidelines Darr has done a few times so's not bad you know what I haven't done I've done one proper session Bobby but I'm all right with my feet I'm not scared don't especially from sniff guys okay [Music]
