Intro the injury report is out we're going to go over it give you thoughts big game on Sunday let's get this thing [Music] started happy Friday everybody out there depending where you're at drive safe getting pounded by this winter storm here at least where I'm at it's not too bad but I know other places is getting lit up and tore up from the floor let's get into this injury report just came out out here we have ruled out khif Injury Report Raymond James Mitchell James Houston he will not be returning in this game that sucks and Jerry Jacobs obviously is placed on IR look we knew kif frayman wasn't going to be playing this game James Mitchell that one kind of stings a little bit because we don't know the exact amount of snaps if Sam lorta plays on Sunday that's a if we don't really know he's questionable we'll get in that in a second here but having him out there would have been good for a reliable number two with that said Brock Wright is good to go Brock Wright will be back in the game and that's really good for the Detroit Lions uh he's really good blocking tight end and look he can take passes if need be so that's good that he's back but not having James Mitchell is going to hurt a little bit uh just depending but he's not playing in this game James Houston we thought that the problem potentially would make his return in this game it's not happening you're going to have to wait another week if theine win the game James Houston will not be in this game on Sunday night when we do need him so we're going to have other people that need to step up in a significant way we need that pass rush getting to Matthew Stafford is crucial hopefully the Lions can win on Sunday and continue on and then we'll be really healthy going into the following week let's continue on here talk about questional Sam leapor Sam LaPorta John Cominsky and John Kaminsky Sam leapor I think he plays he practiced to day I think he plays in the game and if this is the case he is definitely Sam lagot the guy looked like he just tore up his knee in the last game everybody's worried including myself we you know we want Sam lorta on the field we want this guy to be facing the Rams defense because we need him and long and behold looks like he's going to play in this game that is huge for the Lions offense huge for touchdowns look I think the Lions can uh deal with it if he's not there right you we we still have players and get it done so but having your best players out there is always a big plus so it's huge that he can play potentially on this game on Sunday John Kaminsky illness questionable that sucks we need we need John Kaminsky back John Kaminsky has been a good place on the defensive line all over it he's doing good stopping the run and he didn't play last week and it kind of hurt the run defense a little bit hopefully he can play we don't know exactly what the illness is you know it's a big game on Sunday he can get over his illness and get in this game because we're going to need him on that defensive line in a big way we need to stop the run they got a good running game over there in LA so the Detroit Lions need to do what they're really good at on defense and stop the run if you can stop the run and force Matthew Stafford to be one demential in this offense you're going to get some turnovers it's going to be a good thing for the Detroit Lions defense so hopefully John Kaminsky can come back for this game hopefully I know it's you may say oh it's not that big of an injury but it is we're it's stopping the Run he's been really good at it and so we need him back in the lineup so hopefully he can play Lions Injuries on Sunday Bridgewater good to go Jameson Williams playing Sunday's game you know that Brock Wright returning after having an hip issue for for some time Frank ragna good to go Taylor Decker good to go grah glasow good to go cam Sutton good to go and Brian Branch you want to know why the Detroit Lions have a legit shot to win this game on Sunday the three uglies that is on this list is one of those reasons Taylor Decker Frank ragnow Graham Glascow offensive line is healthy folks pan Su Taylor to everybody on this offensive line is healthy anytime this offensive line has started out with the starters the Lions have won games they can open up the hole for the Run game and give Jared gof tough time to read the defense and pick it apart anytime that Jared G's getting pressure we generally are not good offensively but if he stand in that pocket we're really good offensively and the offensive line is good to go that's the biggest plus here for me and people can saying if Sam lorta is the biggest piece if he didn't go no not necessarily the biggest piece to me would be if there was an injury on the offensive line and that's the biggest injuries you got to look for quarterback and the Lions offensive line line those quarterbacks been healthy Jer golf's been healthy all year but the offensive line has it but now it is so when you have a healthy offensive line and healthy quarterback you can win any you can win any game and we can win this game make no mistake about it the Detroit Lions have a chance to win it big game big game on Sunday and you know it always comes down injuries right that that's one of the things that we look at and lions are pretty good here Sam leaport I think he plays we can deal with khif Raymond not being there James Mitchell it does think that he's not going to play due to the leaport injury but we got Brock Wright coming back so there's always someone coming in Brock Wright by the way he's a good player is he the greatest absolutely not but if you throw him the football he's going to catch it he's good he's good blocking we just need somebody out there to reduce the load and you could do Dan Skipper tight end for an extra block as well so the lions are are good to go here in my opinion and that's a really good thing for this football team we have an opportunity here to get that win and look we talk about Matthew Stafford and look I'm not saying you know don't wear J look jar is expensive everybody knows this if you got a Stafford if you you're just trying to wear your Detroit Lions whether it be Jo Arington or Matthew Stafford whatever as long as you're cheering the team on I could care less what you wear we need the boo birds and be loud when our defense is out there and and and making sure that that Ram offense can't work that's the only thing that I'm really worried about in this game well not really worried about all I want to see from the fans in this game is just be loud I I know they are I know you guys are going to be extremely loud but to the fans out there that want to cheer for Stafford or buo our team man that you can't do that in this game look Stafford's coming in here he's trying to beat us us okay he's already won a Super Bowl he requested a be we did everything right for Stafford there should be no reason to hate on our team we did everything the right way we need to be loud on our defense when they're out there when Stafford's out there you need to be loud folks if you're at the game everybody needs to be loud when they're in the Huddle be loud when they're on offense be loud be loud break records with the noise level in this game on Sunday help this team win the 12th man whole point we need it more than any team right now we have the longest streak of not winning a playoff game in the National Football League I want this to end on Sunday night I'm tired of it we've we we reduced a ton of monkeys this year off our back let's get one of the the second biggest one here in my opinion and that's not winning a playoff game you remove that the last one is Super Bowl at that point okay the least we we removed the NFC North monkey let's remove the lack of playoff victories and there's only one to go at that point but Let's Get Loud Let's win this game if you're at this game be loud I cannot stress it enough we need Victory we need to win on Sunday more Rams Injuries than anything we don't know what's going on with Rams INRI they're pretty healthy though I think their left tackle is going to be a backup from what I was hearing so that's interesting Maybe maybe we can get a little more pressure out there but not having James Houston does hurt Romeo Kar J Joshua Pascal's been stepping up he's got to step up in this game as well he's been doing a fine job out there and and continue for him to do his work uh so but we need all handson deck for this game all players and fans to be unified in An Extremely Loud
