EXPECTED TO BE A WALK IN GET EXCITED ABOUT THE COOLER TEMPERATURES ON THE WAY LATER THIS WEEK. NOT UNDER YOUR ACHES AND JOINT IS GOING TO BE CAN BE HEARD, OF COURSE, HAS YOU KNOW, WHEN COOLER IN THE COLD COMING MY THINKING PEOPLE JOIN TO LOSE THEIR. BUT YEAH, IT WAS A HOT DAY YESTERDAY. OBVIOUSLY TEMPERATURES WERE VERY WARM HIGHS CLIMB TO 94 IN MILWAUKEE. 19 WAUKESHA, 90 LAKE, GENEVA. >> AND 19 FINAL. I FOND DU LAC. A LOT LOW TO MIDDLE 90'S YESTERDAY. KENOSHA IS ONE OF THE WARMER SPOTS AT 96 DEGREES. WE DO HAVE MORE HEAT ADVISORIES AND HEAT ALERTS FOR TODAY. THE PINK SHADING HERE IS AN EXCESSIVE HEAT WARNING FOR SOUTHERN WISCONSIN AND NORTHERN AND CENTRAL ILLINOIS. AND YOU CAN SEE A LARGER AREA OF A HEAT ADVISORY FOR ST. LOUIS OUT TOWARDS CINCINNATI. THE OHIO RIVER VALLEY. BUT THIS IS THE KIND OF THE CENTER OF THE HEAT DOME RIGHT NOW THAT'S BEEN BUILDING IN THE LAST COUPLE OF DAYS. AND TODAY IS GOING TO BE THE WARMEST DAY. YOU CAN SEE MOST OF SOUTHEAST WISCONSIN UNDER THIS EXCESSIVE HEAT WARNING EXCEPT FOR FOND DU LAC AND SHEBOYGAN COUNTIES UNDER HEAT ADVISORY. THAT'S BECAUSE THERE IS SOME COOLER AIR WITH A COLD FRONT MOVING IN FROM THE NORTH AND THERE WAS SOME RAIN LAST NIGHT UP TOWARDS FOND DU LAC AND SHEBOYGAN HELP DROP THE TEMPERATURES DOWN JUST A BIT THIS MORNING AND MAYBE SOME CLOUD COVER MIGHT LIMIT THOSE TEMPERATURES FURTHER OFF TO THE NORTH. BUT MOST OF SOUTHEAST WISCONSIN, AGAIN, IT'S GOING TO FEEL VERY, VERY HOT THIS AFTERNOON. HERE'S A LIVE LOOK OUTSIDE OF MILWAUKEE RIGHT NOW. WE DO HAVE A FEW AREAS OF CLOUDS UP ABOVE THIS MORNING, 80 DEGREES TO START OFF THE DAY. DEW POINTS ARE IN THE MID 70'S. THAT MEANS ALREADY THIS MORNING BEFORE THE SUN EVEN COMES OUT. IT FEELS LIKE 85 DEGREES RIGHT NOW IN MILWAUKEE. HEAD IS AN EXTREMELY WARM START TO THE DAY EARLY ON THIS MORNING. 80 IN MADISON RIGHT NOW TO 72 IN FOND DU LAC. YOU CAN SEE A LITTLE BIT THAT COOLER AIR OFF TO NORTH TOWARDS FOND DU LAC AND SHEBOYGAN. MOST OF SOUTHEAST WISCONSIN, MILWAUKEE METRO AREA, UPPER 70'S TO NEAR 80 AS WE'RE STARTING OFF THE MORNING HOURS TODAY AND LOOK AT THE HUMIDITY LEVELS. IT IS CENTERED RIGHT ACROSS SOUTHERN WISCONSIN WITH THAT DARK GREEN THAT TELLS YOU TO AIR IS THICK WITH DEW POINTS IN THE MID 70'S TO START OFF THIS MORNING. WHERE'S THE COLDER AIR WILL THERE'S A LOW PRESSURE SYSTEM IN A COLD FRONT JUST BACK OFF TO THE WEST. YOU CAN SEE SOME OF THE STORMS OUT THERE AND THAT COLD FRONT IS GOING TO TRY TO MOVE TOWARDS US BY LATER ON THIS EVENING INTO TONIGHT. FINALLY BRINGING SOME RELIEF. IT WILL ALSO TRY TO TRIGGER SOME STORM CHANCES LATER IN THE DAYS. BUT IT'S GOING TO FEEL CLOSE TO A 10205 ALREADY BUYS. SHORTLY PAST THE LUNCHTIME HOUR, MOST OF THIS AFTERNOON, FEELING LIKE THE TRIPLE DIGITS ACROSS SOUTHEASTERN WISCONSIN. AND THEN THOSE WILL DROP DOWN WITH SOME OF THOSE STORM CHANCES ROLLING IN LATER ON THIS EVENING. BUT THEY COME UP REALLY QUICKLY THROUGHOUT THE MORNING HOURS SAYING INTO THIS AFTERNOON. IT WILL BE A MUGGY AFTERNOON. ANOTHER DAY. GOOD DAY TO STAY INSIDE. HIGH TEMPERATURES ONCE AGAIN IN THE 90'S FOR TODAY. YOU CAN SEE WE GET PLENTY OF SUNSHINE IN HERE THIS MORNING TO WARM SOME OF THOSE TEMPERATURES UP. WE'RE HITTING THE LOWER TO MIDDLE 90'S ONCE AGAIN. HERE WE GO, THOUGH, ONCE WE GET TOWARDS 05:06PM, WE'RE GOING TO LOOK JUST OFF TO OUR WEST OUT TOWARDS MADISON FOR SOME THUNDERSTORMS TO FIRE UP. AND THESE ARE GOING TO ROLL EASTWARD THROUGH THE EVENING HOURS. SO REALLY BY AROUND DINNER TIME AND INTO THE EARLY OVERNIGHT HOURS, WE ARE GOING AT THE CHANCE FOR SOME OF THESE SCATTERED SHOWERS AND STORMS IN A COUPLE OF THESE COULD BE STRONG TO SEVERE. WE'RE GOING TO BUILD A TON OF ENERGY IN THE ATMOSPHERE TODAY WITH HOW MUCH SUNSHINE AND WARMTH THAT WE GET THROUGH TODAY. SO YOUR NOTICE THAT OUT THERE THAT THE ENERGY WILL REALLY GET GOING WITH THAT SUNSHINE. AND THAT WILL TRIGGER THE CHANCE FOR SOME OF THE STRONGER STORMS, WHICH IS WHY WE DO HAVE A LEVEL 2 RISK FOR SEVERE WEATHER ALL ACROSS EASTERN WISCONSIN. AGAIN, LOOK FOR THIS EVENING FOR THOSE STORMS TO FIRE UP. WE DO NEED SOME RAINFALL. IT'S QUITE SOME TIME THAT WE'VE SEEN SOME MANY SIGNIFICANT RAINFALL. SO WE MIGHT GET SOME OF THAT LATER ON TODAY. HOPEFULLY THESE STORMS DO STAY BELOW SEVERE LIMITS. BE CAN SEE AFTER TODAY WE GO BACK TO NORMAL TEMPERATURES, UPPER 70'S AND LOWER 80'S. TODAY IS THE LAST DAY WITH HIGHS IN THE 90'S. WE'LL HAVE MORE STORM CHANCES THURSDAY NIGHT INTO FRIDAY.
