our long National Football League nightmare is over the Brandon auk Saga has ended where it began in San Francisco with a 4-year $120 million contract extension that keeps him with the 49ers through 2028 Trent Williams who I think we can mostly admit best left tackle in football he's coming back he's signed a deal he's back in the bay I think they believe the 49ers have the best roster still currently in the NFC you know you guys I'm just going to go ahead and jump straight into the San Francisco 49ers at this point because this team man as we all know put together a great offseason this year and just recently they made their offseason even better by going out and signing two of their best players on offense back to the team they added back one of their best skilled players and Brandon iuk signing him to a 4-year deal and on top of that you also signed back one of if not your most important piece in Trent Williams on the offensive line both of these guys are obviously extremely beneficial to your team and they are a huge part why you've had the success you've had in the past so adding these guys back along with everything else you added new to this team makes them one of the scarier NFL teams heading into the season but before we get into why I fully believe that if you like 49ers content just like this make sure to go down and hit that subscribe button so you don't miss any 49ers videos throughout the entirety of this season okay so to get right back on topic with the San Francisco 49ers this team of course is coming off last season where they made it all the way to the Super Bowl but but of course fell a little bit short like they've been doing in recent years they just couldn't get it done they were so close and even though they just made it last year I think they have a great shot once again this year to put themselves in a position to win it all and that starts with what they have on this offense I mean like I already mentioned they added back Brandon iuk and Trent Williams and if they wouldn't have had those two guys heading into the season I still think they would have been good they just wouldn't have been to their full potential so now having both of these guys back on the roster makes this offense the best that can possibly be and that means they're going to be a top five unit in football every single year this offense is healthy especially ever since the 49ers have hired Shanahan they have had an outstanding offense that most defenses have no answer for and I expect that to St the same this year especially since Brock p is still going to be your quarterback no matter what anyone says Brock p is one of the best quarterbacks in the league right now and I think he's undebatably a top 10 QB in the league with what he's able to do week in and week out and I expect him to play the same if not even better this year he operates the offense flawlessly and on on top of that he also gives you way more creativity than most people give him credit because I see him use his legs and make plays when he needs to which is something every offense needs Shanahan like I said is a great play caller but even his plays aren't going to work every single time so when you have a quarterback that can operate perfectly when the play works out and can play out of structure if he needs to that's when you have a great quarterback that can take your team where you want to go and that's exactly what I think Brock p is he's just 24 years old and he's only going into his third season so he still has a lot of room for improvement and that says says a lot because this guy's already really good so your quarterback being really good means your passing attack is going to be really good especially since you also have a ton of weapons to throw to outside of Brandon auk you have Debo Samuel who is still an elite level player whenever he's on the field and I expect him to have a big workload this year like he does every year you have that guy George KD who's arguably the best tight end in football especially since Travis Kelce is starting to fall off a little bit and he gives defenses a ton of trouble because he is a constant mismatch for everyone that he plays against and then you of course still have that guy Jawan Jennings at the receiver number three spot who's a really solid player and you're going to get back your first round pick Ricky peera around week 4ish which should give you an upgrade at receiver three to make this receiver room and weapon group as a whole even better Ricky peol has looked really good throughout the off season and I expect him to transfer that over to the real NFL season and I think him along with Jan Jennings gives you a full deep weapon group that can rotate in and out and it's going to make defenses lives really hard because you can't guard all of these guys at once especially when Shanahan is scheming bangs up now even though the 49ers could probably throw the ball almost every play and still put up a lot of points what makes this team different from other teams is that they also have an elite Run game to go along with their passing game and that is mainly due to the way Shanahan calls running plays and due to them having the best running back in the league Christian mcaffrey Christian mcaffrey is a guy that has not fallen off at all as he's gotten older and I don't expect him to fall off at all this year either and that means he's going to put up ridiculous rushing numbers and ridiculous receiving numbers just like he does every single year I mean the guy averaged well over five yards a carry last season especially when you're getting over 250 carries because almost no one can stay that efficient but of course CMC can being able to run the football like this opens up everything else so much more because you can use play action off of it and that's exactly what we see the 49ers do a ton and that's why you see so many 49ers receivers running wide open down the field not only are they all great route Runners but they also get open because the opposing defense is so worried about stopping the run and that is just going to make Brock party's life that much easier now to go along with Christian mcaffrey you're still going to have Elijah Mitchell who's a guy I like a lot at the running back position and you're going to have that guy Isaac gindo who I think is going to be mixed in a little bit more than people realize simply due to him being extremely fast he's one of the faster running backs that we've ever seen coming out of college and I know for a fact that Kyle Shanahan is going to use him in a ton of creative ways to get him in open space and that should make this offense even more explosive than it already was so with that being said and when you look at this offense as a whole I I think it's pretty simple to see that they're going to be a top five offense in the league pretty easily and that's going to allow for them to win a lot of football games but this team isn't just trying to win a lot of football games they want to go all the way to the Super Bowl and win it all and you've got to have a great defense along with the offense if you want to do that and that's exactly what the 49ers have to start you've got to look at this defensive line because that's where everything starts on a defense and the 49ers have one of if not the very best defensive line in the entire league it all starts with that guy Nick Bosa who's once again coming off a double digit sack season where maybe he started off a little bit slow but as the season went on he turned it up and turned into the guy that we know him to be and I expect him to come into this season hot ready to go with probably a chance to win Defensive Player of the Year again he's just so so hard to block and there's not many offensive tackles that know what to do with him and he's going to lead this defensive line like he does every single year so with him being on the D line it's automatically going to make this defensive line be really good at getting after the passer but to go along with him you also have that guy Leonard Floyd who you added this off season who's also coming off a season where you had double digit sacks which gives you two double digit sack guys on the edges which is not something you want to see if you're an offense you're going to have to get the ball out fast or you're going to get sacked especially since you still have that guy Javon hardgrave on the interior and you added that guy Malik Collins who I think is extremely underrated to go along with Javon hardgrave which just rounds out this defensive line as a unit now behind the starters you also have some other talented guys that can rotate in like gross MOS and Drake Jackson who I both think have a ton of potential to be great and I think they're going to be great rotational guys whenever Leonard Floyd and Nick Bosa need a break so the defensive line is not only deep but they're also talented which means they're going to be really really good and they're going to have a lot of production and then when you pair with that that you have a linebacker room that is also arguably the best in football there's just not much you can ask for Fred Warner of course is the best linebacker in the game right now and I expect him to play great football once again there's no reason he shouldn't and then to go along with him you went out and added that guy Dev vandre Campbell since Dre Greenlaw is going to be hurt for the beginning of the season and I think he's going to do a a great job at filling in Dre greenlaw's spot and then whenever Dre green law comes back you're going to have three Elite linebackers that can do pretty much anything you ask them to which makes up an overall front seven that I would say is probably the best in the league they're going to be dominant against the run and they're also going to be dominant against the pass and that's going to allow everything else on the defense to follow suit firstly when it comes to the secondary the first guy you got to talk about is that guy chavaria Ward as your cornerback one because this guy really has turned out to be an Elite Physical Corner that can guard pretty much anyone you put him in in front of he's always looking to get in your face and press you and make you mad at the line of scrimmage that is exactly what this 49ers defense wants to be about so he fits the mold perfectly he's lengthy and he's also pretty fast and he is the exact archetype you want as your cornerback one and then to go along with him you went out and you added that guy Isaac yam who also is extremely underrated for what he brings to the table and he's coming off a really good season as well so those two guys are obviously really good and then you're still going to have that guy Lenor who also played really good for you last year who's only going to be going into His Four Season in at just 24 years old which makes up a pretty good Corner Trio in my opinion especially when you add to it that you have Ambry Thomas who I still think has potential and you have Renardo green who also has a ton of potential that I think was a great draft pick this year so not only do you have good starters but you also have backups that are going to get better as they play more snaps and that allows this defense to rotate guys in and out depending on what they're best at and that is a really really good thing to have now as far as safety goes you of course still have Jer Brown who I thought played really good last year as a rookie you have huun coming back who I know might not play week one but he will be back pretty soon which is a huge gain back to this defense that they missed last year you also added that guy Tracy Walker who's a really good player and you drafted a guy in Malik Mustafa who I also think could turn out to be pretty good which rounds out this safety room and also makes them deep and talented as well so I mean this defense as a whole man is going to be a top five defense in the league just like the offense and if both units are able to be a top five unit in football even if they're a top 10 unit in football they're going to be able to go a very long ways which is exactly what everyone expects from them
