NCCU FB Pro day Interviews (Apr. 1, 2024)

okay we're here with M Kier you had a pro day today just let us know how that kind of workout went for you today and what you feel like your next step will be uh I feel like everything went you know pretty great today it was great weather uh just being able to come out here and perform and get and get some film to to send to the scouts uh on I think pro day last week last Wednesday you know unfortunately the weather wasn't you know permissible for us so we had to move it to today so uh just going forward I I really truly you know believe that there's a lot of great things in store for me you know on the field and and just off the field as well just I feel like a lot of great things are in store and I can't wait to see what God has in store for me but uh you know I know it was a feel it was a good experience you know we got to come out here and shortcase our talents when it was better weather you know last week it was bad weather it was raining so I'm glad we got we got to be able to um get the chance to come out today in a degree weather and do our thing also a few of your teammates were here as well with you what what do it been like going through this process with then by your side uh you know it's it's actually been good you know uh having somebody else to talk to about it uh having somebody to relate to you know and just piay each other up make sure everybody you know uh stay on the grind stay uh you know uh having faith you know just going through the process all together uh it felt very good to be out here with my teammates and uh my coaches and my my uh fellow teammates uh supporting us so you know it just felt back at home family Vibe is there anything you kind of told yourself before this day started to kind of just keep the nerves down or anything like that knowing that this is a big event for yourself uh yeah me and uh my fellow teammate uh m k er uh he likes to go by it's already written and so that's one thing I uh you know I go by as well uh being around him a lot his uh positive energy uh just feeds off on everybody so I would say that probably was my biggest my biggest uh statement I made to myself to keep my myself calm and go out here and perform to the best of my abilities is just you know believe in the work you already put in and uh everything's in God's hands right now is already written so no matter the outcome no matter if you feel like it was good or bad it was it planned out how it was supposed to plan out so it's all in God's hands so that kind of kept me relaxed and as you continue to put the work in over the next few weeks just what is the next step going to be for yourself The Next Step would be uh just staying positive uh you know staying on top of my regimen staying uh very disciplined and uh focusing on everything I need to focus on to put myself in a better situation I say the main focus is just training staying in shape primarily getting in shape of for Camp um making sure my football IQ is up the par when I go in for meetings and things like that and get on the board and um yeah just make sure I'm staying mainly staying in shape though and critiquing my my skills on the FI just be patient you know great things happen to those who are patient and just stay faithful to the process and to the work I put in and faithful to God you know cuz with him anything is possible so if I uh do those things that I know everything going to work out in my favor so I I'm looking forward to everything but within that time I'm stay patient uh really not compare you know myself to others because comparon is the thief of Joy so I'm going just be where my feet are be appreciative to you know where I am and you know thank God for everything he has blessed upon me this far
