okay so P we replace but I'll go and let you have a man what's up fellas I ain't going to be long cuz I'm not the reason y'all here but it's good to see you guys good to be in the room you know when you used to sit in these chairs is surreal cuz a couple years ago like I said I was getting ready for week one ver who was playing coach Austin Austin Austin PE getting ready in Tennessee so it's surreal but the main thing is my brother um gave me my opportunity after I left here in sports to work with him and his business and handle stuff for him um so I thought it'd be a cool gy to bring him to talk to y'all cuz like I said y'all are an extension of where a part of my life in my chapter so I got Jaylen Ramsey nine Time pro bowler y'all already know don't forget to have fun you know what I mean have fun but at the same time remember winning is fun so y'all got to go out there y got to after for real for real yall got to get early I'm talking about from first blate to the end like whatever but it's really whatever your role is whatever your role is on the team go attack whether you like it right now or Not Your Role is your role so just go attack it if you on special teams go make the play to spark it off for whoever B get on the field if if you on the kickoff team go spark it off go go smack somebody even if you don't get the tackle smack somebody set the tone cuz then the defense going to come out they going to be like that's what we on today and you keep it going the whole the whole rest of the game so I mean whatever your role is just attack it and you got to trust y got to trust our preparation trust your teammates when you get out there don't try to do too much man it's a football is like the Ultimate Team game it ain't like basketball like one person can't take over the game for real for real you know what I mean you got to trust your teammates in some capacity you know the corners got to trust the D line to get there the D line got to trust the corners to to to hold up and coverage they have time to get there in football you can't be no superhero like you can just excel in your role like that's how you get noticed for real for real it ain't going out there trying to do everything and and this and that like I think about the times when I was at Florida State like I would not at Florida State make crazy plays I just made the plays when I when they came my way like I just played my role whether I was at nickel whether I was at corner where I was at sa I'm just playing my role if I'm at corner I can't I can't beat the passer and you know doing all I got to lock in on my receiver if I'm in man if I'm in zone I got to lock in on the zone and I got to let all the players come to me they going to come to you you just got to play you got to play in that way and I got to trust my safy I got to trust my if I'm in cover to I got to trust my safy going to be open the top same way he got to trust I'm going get a re on the receiver come to you know then then it was time for you know they wanted to try me then now now I step up now I make a pay that's that's in in essence like how you be a superstar be be a hero it ain't going it ain't doing nothing out of your out of out of what you already been preparing to do you know what I mean y'all y'all know if y'all been putting the work in or not y'all know if y'all been out there on that field busting y pushing each other holding each other account y'all know if y'all been in that in that film room studying the film rank you know what I'm saying y'all still got a a day left a little bit over 24 hours left you know what I mean if y'all can still keep tapping into the film get them last little little nuggets that you may may forgot a little bit that came ear in the week tap into them a little bit get them last little nuggets just so you can remember right before the game use all this time to prep cuz the other side they some of them probably doing some of I'm not you it ain't about you you don't want to go out there and be like man I hope they mess up so we can be successful no I want them on thato I want them and I'm going be on my then we going to see who back that's what it's about like that's that's the right mindset to have you don't want them I want them to mess up and so I can make this play no you be on your I'm be on my see who better after this game that's the mindset you got to have with it I I trust my safety I'm straight right here I trust my D line I'm going to have I lock up right here at the line it's over with and I'm just speaking from a corner perspective cuz that's what I do right but it that that's for everybody in the team quarterbacks got to trust the receiver to run the right route be be in the right spots at the right time quarterback got to trust you when he throw you the ball that you going to catch it you going to make a play man it's it's football this what a lot of yall been playing since I was probably 5 years old or something like that five six you know the single digit it's the same thing it's just on another level it's just on another level don't think too much about it it's the same way I had these same type of conversations with the team now we had these same type of conversations get ready you know what I'm saying everybody just lock in on what you got to do Ain nobody got to be be a superstar I just keep saying that but that's real know what I'm saying offense protect the ball special teams find a way to make an impact play all it take is one you don't know which play is going to be special teams find a way to make an impact play the statistics says if special teams make a play that team got a higher percentage of winning the game so if you just on special team make it play you might be the reason you never know you might be the reason that hey them odds don't one up in our favor now now we going to get after defense like I was saying don't hope that they mess up if they mess up take advantage of it for sure when you on defense you got to take advantage of any opportunity that they give you cuz the offense they you know they know what they doing they know they routs they know their plays they know what they got to what they got to do so if they do give you an opportunity take advantage of it but at the same time you got to go get it though defense you got to to go get it you got to go get it don't don't man the quarterback ain't going you the ball the running back ain't trying to give you the ball go take it that's the mindset y'all got to have in in all of phases and then when yall just put together man you just let you just let the result be what the result is and you can live with it at the end of the game you can live with it if if that's how y'all going out there playing no matter what the result is you can live with it at the end of the game but nine times out of 10 when you handling business the right way the result going the result going to be what you want it to be and if it ain't you hey y'all chalk it up and y'all figure out what y'all got to do you know to get better but the mindset is dominating the mindset ain't going there and are we just going to compete and we just going to you know see see what it is no the mindset is dominant every play too like it's a team game but at the same time you got to win your individual match ups Corners beat the receivers DM beat the beat the offensive tack tackle don't let def get get back there everybody who got an individual individual battle you got to win you got to excel in your Ro you know what I'm saying and just put it all together and y'all going to be straight but the the mindset though especially week one it just been y'all against y'all this whole time y'all ain't got to go against nobody else the mindset week one got to be like I'm going to go out there least this I'm going to go out there and go I'm going to go out there and go crazy like control chaos though like I'm going be I'm going to be within myself I know what I got to do but I'm there go crazy I'm going to punish these every play man you can't receiver not going to block me if I'm a DB I wish he would put his hands on me it's up like that got to be the mindset I ain't getting blocked I ain't getting beat and if you do let's go we back at it again like it was a fluke it's football everybody get beat the best of the best ever reev is Deon Sanders like that's how I look at that's how you feel me as a DB they all been beat they all scored touchdowns on whatever it's the next play I don't seen them guys get beat and then the next series going get a pick I done did it before I done been beat plenty of times then next series go get a pick next series go get a big play that change the game even more than what just happened to me second play by play and and had that same mentality it start it started here though y'all got to have that mentality and it got to be amongst y'all it can't be a coach coach cannot tell you to go out that mentality to be a dog it got to be y'all all of y'all everybody got to be able to hold each other accountable none of your coaches should be able to tell you how your Mentor should be they did their job they done been getting you prepared up up in the here now everybody got to trust each other y'all got to go out there with that mindset it's up it's on us as a team we holding each other accountable we going out there and getting it stay stay together throughout the whole game no matter what happened Stay Together together it you got it bro it ain't nothing you ain't got to argue but if you know your brother can give you more go demand more from him we need more fund we need that we need that catch we need you to break that tackle we need that first down right there andy we need y' to get a three and out right here so we can get on that and get roll that's good that's staying together that's a good mindset to have that's what y'all got to do especially week one man Y Man be ready go unleash it go unleash it if if y'all know all the work y'all been putting in it shouldn't be no timidness no anxiety no hesitation no nothing to be afraid about it's going out there we unleashing everything that we've been working hard for we've been working y'all been in training camp y'all been working it's time to go out there and let it go it's time to go out there and let it go for real and that's what it's about man keep y'all in mind get y' mindset right you in room now you chilling man start visualizing them plays you going to make if you know you going to score a touchdown tomorrow start visualizing your celebration like any of that little stuff like your mind powerful I'm telling y'all get your mind right it's a new season it's time to step on next for real starting from week one another team turn on that tape from week one week one that's what they already on yall like yeah that's that's who we are that's our identity this year ease y mind but visualize get your mind ready and then tomorrow play free play Fast Let It Go if you on a defense you got to run to that ball defense run to that ball for real you running that ball top doll you play like a top doll some of my favorite NFL coaches that's what they always told us they said if our eight players play like eight players we going to be straight our B players play like B players we going to be straight C players play like C players so that's like the rooll thing just dominate your role and it's straight that's all you got to do team depending on you they depending on you to just do what you do they depending on you because they not seen what you can do so they depending on you to do that y'all see what the other person can do demand it out of each other go get
