well everyone it's Sunday August the 25th 2024 I'm Doug it's time once again to play some connections let's see what we've got today all right today we have steaming poker air baking laundry ranking boiling station heating origami position fuming standing ventilation livid and conditioning well when someone's livid they're also fuming they're also steaming they're also boiling uh these are I believe uh ways to say really uh upset hopping mad if you got hopping mad on the nose uh you win my connections MVP of the day a new award I just created let me know in the comments if you'd like to claim it all right uh position ranking standing uh or possibly station position ranking standing or station uh would be ways of saying um uh level on a leaderboard place of um uh degree of of prominence um status I was looking for degree of prominence it's status yes I think we know we're all going for the same thing uh for some reason I couldn't find the word status uh but I think we get that one all right we're doing them in order here which is kind of cool um let's see here um heating conditioning heating air ventilation uh H why do I feel see laundry could be interesting because they're all things that a laundry machine needs but that's not the word laundry uh I don't feel like heating ventil maybe uh not sure hm uh oh I know what's going on here poker laundry origami um so I could tell you what these three things have in common I bet you this is the purple poker origami laundry are things that involve folding you fold a bad hand in poker and this wouldn't have if I wasn't a poker player myself this wouldn't have just come right out at me origami is about folding paper laundry is something you fold so what else would you fold um ventilation heating air either baking or conditioning I guess baking might involve folding like dough um but it's definitely involving folding is that the category or it's going to be one away activities that involve folding there you go and it was the purple uh so now we have heating ventilation air and conditioning uh these are is the category the four words uh from the acronym HVAC is that it words that make up the acronym AG that's cool I fish that out I think that's the first time that we've seen like words that make up the acronym something I feel like that's the first time that's come up but uh HVAC again I I was never an HVAC technician Believe It or Not uh but I've known a few in my time so that just immediately came to mind very interesting and clever new type of word play cuz I believe that's the first time we've seen that so something else to look for well folks I got a perfect for four in short order pretty happy with myself curious to see how you guys did uh no Shenanigans today we just sort of got it uh hope you had a good time with this one uh I hope you come back tomorrow for some more connections
