[Music] when you look at this one today this really know so deep into the game uh just that I mean uh their guy came up and uh he push a great game Goldin p a great game really just a couple hits out there and so uh oh like you said it's a really good team mie were you looking first pitch slider there no I just look for strike this one get I've been getting a lot of strikes especially uh early in the count really really the whole count just just being ready to ready to swing whatever was there a little extra something in there after sh got hit by a pitch no no no no does does that emotion uh from your team come out at all I mean you obviously missed a ton of time getting hit show he gets hit you hit the home run ma gets hit part of the game no not not at all there's no I from my perspective I don't think there was any ill feelings or anything just hard again right off the bat did you know it was gone um I knew it was a double at least and which would have gave us a chance to put put one across the board and so that's all I really uh cared about you know just get us a lead and just get into the ninth and and finish it out but you know I just I figur it a double at least got to ask you about Stony another solid one yeah he's been he's been amazing all year man every time he touches the ball he go he goes out there and gives us chances to win he's building up the Zone strikes very efficient um I think uh he's really kind of surprised us all how good he really is how important it is to win the series from now on oh I mean I mean even game one it's important to win all the games um those those other teams are are really getting hot and they're playing very well and so it's just important for us to keep playing the game we can't play better you know it's not a thing where we go and try and play better we just have to keep being who we are and doing the same things we always do can you remember in in your time in in the league a a stretch run like this where there's so many teams that could come out not only in the NL and Al but with the best record overall um no I mean not on the top of my head but I mean that's uh that's what makes it fun you know you know you have to come to work every day and it's not going to be a cake walk you know there's a lot of really good teams and really many different ways you know so uh again that's just what makes it fun you guys now that you've been back for a few uh weeks now how do how comfortable do you feel B in the second spot and physically and mentally how how are you uh I mean I'm very very comfortable I mean b behind him it's actually kind of fun so I get to see him uh see every swing every bat that he takes when I was leading off I didn't really get to see it that much so um you know it's pretty cool but you you know I'm just uh being myself and and coming back to work and excited to come to work each and every day and I'm really and very appreciative to to not be hurt you know being on the show for those two months really made me miss uh being here and maybe appreciate each and every day to get here you guys are w six of seven you've got most of your offense back this month including in this last week how much of a connection is there with a better play in the full lineup I mean you know it was a really good connection it's good to have everybody back but you know we also got to perform that's the most important thing and doesn't really matter what kind of team you have a symol you have to you have to perform and U right now we're doing okay but we have to do it when it matters [Music]
