Chicago Bulls Sign Talen Horton-Tucker To A Deal

yo what's going on guys and today of course let me clear that throat ton horn Tucker is now a Chicago Bulls which I actually love and I just literally got home from class as you guys know I'm doing my PhD it's night school doing a little C Dam it said that wrong ssps but either way t or Tucker partially guaranteed deal kind of similar to what like mt mclung signed earlier which we're also releasing a video on but sham Shania dropped the news let's just talk about it he's actually a native from Chicago so kind of of a homecoming he's going to basically fight for a roster spot he was probably incentivized by them with the guaranteed money which means like oh you might not make the team but we'll give you some money to come out here and be a training camp guy and you'll have a better chance of making the team than somebody else but he probably also had other offers from other teams where they maybe didn't offer money or the battle that they told him he was going to compete against maybe wasn't as opportunistic as Chicago is and as the reason why I say opportunistic is let's let's talk about the Chicago Bulls because they're either in a retooling or they're they're heading towards a rebuil I also want to say if anybody I guess most improved player of the year is usually a guy who becomes an All-Star I'm I was a huge Josh giddy guy coming out as the guy who does scouting huge Josh giddy fan coming out of college not college but you know the NBL coming into the draft misspoke there but you guys know when he came out of Australia and I legitimately think that you guys remember the and Lonzo balls a way better Defender but offensively Josh giddy is going to be able to help I really think that that people don't remember the Bulls were like 20 and five during that span before or like some insane record they're like the number one seed in the East or they're one of the best teams on both sides of the ball and I think Josh GID is going to allow them to recreate this and I think the starting lineup looks like what it is but the idea of having ton horn Tucker who if you look at the second unit I think Jaylen stick Smith and Tory Craig and buellis make up there isn't really a pure backup power forward Center and I know Kenneth lofton's out there and if you look realistically at this team one of these guys are going to have to make a be on a two-way I think Kenneth Lofton and betim are fighting for that last two-way spot and ton Horton Tucker he's can't get a two-way because he's played on too many teams or too many seasons he's he has technically five years of service in this past year he played 20 minutes a night and 10 points just under 40% % from the field 33% from three 2 and 1 half rebounds 3 and 1 half assists and one thing I want to note about ton horn Tucker it wasn't this year but last year he closed out the season like a menace this past season he didn't do it like he did the year before and it was something else if you guys didn't follow but post Allstar break last year my man averaged 18 points what was it six assists five rebounds shot 43% from the field 32% had 15 field goal attempts a game and at this point what is ton horn Tucker he's like 6'4 with like a six what 7' one wingspan I thought it was 6'1 but 7' one wingspan he has kind of a Swiss Army KN game where like he's a he can score he can go off for like 20 or 30 one night but then he's also like not good enough to be that guy like he's good enough athleticism attacker in but you don't want him to do it regularly and he's he has all the tools to be decent Defender even though he's not like the tallest but he's not like elad at it he's like 234 and he's like in a tweener body and he lacks like a reliable like consistent skill and his passing skills aren't polished but he's like this really good Swiss army knife that I think's like still trying to figure it out but once he does he's going to be solid for somebody I just think they need to figure out his role is he like a playmaker Off the Bench is he a guy who's going to like make moves I think that's the the biggest thing for them is just trying to figure out like like hey are we going to be able to like put you in a rotation and you don't need the ball in your hand cuz that's another thing kind of like needs the ball in his hands but going back to this where I think if you look at how does he fit here I don't know if dalen Terry is ready we don't know if buellis is ready Chris Duarte I'm I'm sorry I just we don't know Javon Carter didn't play him last year as they should have they and we don't know what Lonzo ball is so there's one roster spot and it's probably I don't think do do mask or Dum mask is going to make it I do like him as a a guy who's going to be on the g- league team he's probably competing with the two-way spot they still could cut one of the guys who have a two-way contract to give you know either Dom askk bat him or Kenneth Loft in it however I I really think they should cut like Julian Phillips and Pap T Lorn Tucker I I they don't lose anything
