WELL, JAKE, IT DID END UP BEING A 35 POINT K-STATE WIN, BUT THAT FINAL SCORE DOESN'T REALLY TELL THE STORY. IT'S NOT YOUR TYPICAL SEASON OPENER WHERE IT WAS DOMINATION FROM THE BEGINNING. IN FACT, THE FIRST HALF, IT WAS NEVER IN DOUBT THAT A WIN OR LOSS WOULD HAPPEN. BUT MORE SO. MAN, WHEN CAN THIS OFFENSE GET GOING? IN FACT, ONLY ONE OFFENSIVE TOUCHDOWN IN THE FIRST HALF. WE CAUGHT UP WITH COACH AFTERWARDS. HE SAYS HE WASN'T TOO FOND OF THAT. THEY TALKED IT INTO THEM AT THE START OF THE SECOND HALF.
