Dunkin Summer Menu 2024 Part 2 Review | S’mores and Hot Honey

meeh welcome back to the Souther snack where life is too short to be serious all right 11 items Duncan is going crazy for Midsummer folks and let me tell you I'm going to predict this now between them and Starbucks I think Duncan's going to be the winner they just have more interesting items I will give Starbucks credit very good breakfast items but I think Duncan's matching that and then Duncan's got some new coffee items nobody cares about your non dairy vanilla oat milk cream stuff Starbucks I mean it was good but nobody cares about that we want something interesting and Duncan over here they brought something interesting with smalles and a smalles donut so anyways I just want to again give a shout out to the Franklin location awesome did everything right did everything great um you know represents Duncan the way it should be represented and uh let in the draft for really nice so uh really appreciate you guys and keep up the great work um she did say that if you like marshmallow then this might be for you so it could be very marshmallow forward I like my s'mores balance I like that nice note of Graham I like chocolate um I like it to be balanced so I'm a very particular guy when it comes to s'mores um so we'll see we we we will see but I I like that bounce if it doesn't hit that perfect s'mores combination I'll be quick to say it because s'mores is one of the one of the only things where I'm like it's got to taste like this and you'll know right when I'm like drinking and eating these things you'll know I'm excited for the hot honey breakfast items too so let's get to this again if you don't like my long reviews I got Tik Tock I do shorts so I they're interesting they're fun but uh they're shorter so if you don't want to watch me struggle through eating 11 or consuming 11 items I guess cuz I'm drinking most of this um well you got other options right yeah I know I'm crazy drop $50 today Dro $50 at Duncan I mean Starbucks yesterday so what's new all right I think what we're probably all most excited for is the smalles donut I think it's filled with like a marshmallow cream I mean it has to be right because the top is chocolate and Graham and you know what's missing marshmallow which we don't need it on top if it's filled with it so maybe she's right maybe you better like marshmallow so let's go ahead and try this dut out very rich not too strong on the marshmallow I like the chocolate in the gam doesn't quite hit my preference for s'mores but it's close that cream is almost nauseatingly sweet but that's what you get with marshmallow marshmallow a lot of times it's just like this very sweet tasting cream that's why one of my favorite Oreos of all time is the the peeps with the chocolate wafer because it just so it doesn't taste like a peeps it just tastes like a sweeter Oreo I really do like this I would say probably eight and a half is what we're going on with this just cuz I think it could be a little bit more balanced I don't know how you could really balance it better but I it's hard to explain right I there's just some combination there that I prefer okay very good very good start all right we want to keep it on the s'mores um so this is the big star of the show I guess it's the s'mores cold brew so got marshmallow cold foam s'mores flavored black coffee graham cracker crumble I hope the more' syrup has Graham flavor in it cuz graham cracker crumble isn't enough to carry throughout right so let's let's try it they did a pretty solid job on that like that is really very close to what you would expect for a s'mores it's not too forward on black coffee the marshmallow cream's really nice something feels like it's kind of missing there but it's still very good very delightful I'd say it it falls in the same line as the doughnut I give it eight and a half I think that works well all right um where to next I guess we'll stay on the smallest train and not go to the freeze yet I know the bonfire freeze is probably going to be one of those popular ones too but I don't want to get there yet we're going to we're going to do the oat milk one then I guess I'll switch to to the the big bonfire freeze so yeah this is the oat milk soratte so let's try it little heavy little heavy on the oat milk flavor again like yesterday when I went to Starbucks and got the Fela cream stuff you really couldn't taste that it was like different I can definitely taste the oat milk here but something about this s this s'more syrup I think I'm vibing well with it right I'm thinking we're going to have something that's going I'm I have my hopes that the bonfire freeze is going to be perfect this one it's decent it's just low forward on that oat milk I feel like I'm drinking like oat milk flavored or s'mores flavored oat milk I'm going give it a six I think six is fair all right um the s'mores freeze it's it's hectic over here so coffee syrup s'mores syrup vanilla shot cream mocha drizzle gram cracker topping this bad boy starting melt but hey I don't care as long as the flavor's there oh Stir It some this happens sometimes um it's not ever really like a little location thing but sometimes freezes just don't gel well it could be overloaded with syrups which I mean that's again they're putting the number of syrups they're supposed to I think that's the coffee syrup that really hit me so that's t up until this point we had rolling I'mma have to get this again y'all tell me your thoughts on this one if you get it cuz it's Tangy like kind of sour yeah I'd give that a one I mean I'm sure it's good on a usual bases but I guess just all the mocha and the coffee syrup I I couldn't tell you um but in the aftertaste I can taste the more' syrup so man I was really hoping that one would be great but let me down all right we're going to switch back to the coffees um I hope that's not the case with all three uh freezes we'll have to see but the uh marshmallow cold foam the cold foam's kind of drizzled into here it was a cold brew at one point I promise it was but let's let's try it yeah I think the s'mores really gave it a boost that marshmallow I would have expected it to have like a sweeter PR presence in this whole beverage it's there but it's not very sweet now you can barely taste it I'm going to give it a four cuz it's not bad but like you can barely taste anything all right um I'm scared now I I don't even want to touch energy drink cuz I hate as established yesterday I tend to hate any energy drink that a coffee place touches I've had them from Duncan Starbucks Caribou Coffee I think scooters may have done an okay job with theirs I hear Dutch Bros Rebel is amazing don't know for sure um but I I've I've had them at every coffee chain and folks I I I can't say it enough they just should keep their focus on coffee and donuts donuts are fine too all right caramel cream let's try it okay a lot less there is still a little bit of that Tang it but there's a lot less of it so maybe it was the mocha cuz what else has mocha that I don't think anything else has mocha oh boy we we'll know for sure with the trip mocher right this is unapologetically sweet it's 610 calories for a small um I think a couple sips is good enough right you love caramel you love some coffee this one's easily for you I just think it's I don't want to say the words but it's a it's a basic person's type of drink um I would give it like I think a a Seven's good Seven's good it's enjoyable but not particularly for me now I'm scared about this one because now we're back to mocha and I I've convinced myself that Moka was a problem so let's try it even that's not too bad but it definitely was the mocha cuz I defitely taste it's that bitter sweetness of it was just too much of it which is odd that there's not too much of it in this but for whatever reason it just was kind of funky in that bonfire freeze still not like a huge preference for this if you like like dark chocolate Okay more I drink it the more uh Tangy it's getting more sour but if if you if you like dark chocolate I think this one would be for you I might have to try the bonfire thing without any mocha in it I I could you know hypothetically go get one again and leave mocha in it just see but I think it would play out better if I just left all mocha away stay away from the mocha um it's not bad I give it like a five um again like I don't know not my my cup of tea so now we're on the hot honey I love hot honey by way did we drink uh oh no we're not on the hot honey yet because I was so tempted to skip the I'm going get a new straw for this I was tempted to skip the tornado sparked energy which is berry burst and Peach and sparkling water so I think again they need to leave energy drinks to energy drink companies but you know settle in try it oo very heavy on the sparkling water I don't know why I want ooh because oh that's making me feel funky too uh trust me when when Starbucks debuted their energy drinks yesterday I did not like them other than the one with strawberry paret and then I drank like half of one they only sell them in venes so Duncan's went in that department that you can buy a really small one um but I just felt funny the whole day like I felt kind of nauseous my heart was feeling funky and I got I mean I'm I would say I'm in good health I jog but on average I try and Jog 5 miles a day um you see me basically told me I talk too much and it ain't wrong um I have so much much content that it literally kicked me out and said you have too much storage so I went and deleted the videos that were waiting in my deleted file um so let's let's get this done so back to my point um made me feel funny and I right after drinking this I started to feel a little bit we'll see how I feel for the rest of the day but I I drink things like in very moderation like I'll save things for days before I finish them or I'll throw them out um so anyways back to this the sparkling water amount the amount of sparkling water here really is actually a pleasant surprise because it balances with the artificial flavors a bit better one of the big issues that their drinks tend to have is that they're too artificial especially that peach that peach really sucks usually the berry burst I think I remember correctly if I remember correctly it's pretty decent so this is not bad me a bit artificial but the amount of sparkling water really helps us out um and it's it's not bad I give it like a SI right um and I'm sure I'll be feeling funny for for the rest of the day for drinking a little too much of it all right hot honey snack and bacon let's try a piece h okay salty slight notes of it not really a lot of heat hopefully the other items have more um I'mma go with a six it's a bit salty now now it's coming in the Heat's coming in a little bit so we'll see with the taco and stuff and the sandwich if we get more but I'm going to give it a s it tastes good but a little too salty not a lot of flavor so here we go I think the taco takes away from it a little bit more it's not a bad Taco I give it like a five it's kind of small it tastes decent but I again I want something that's making my taste buds Blaze and glory and fire all right let's finish this review off with the hot honey bacon sandwich looks like they put hot honey on top of this thing so that gives me hope and I think I can see some more hot honey kind of drizzled from the bacon so we'll we'll see nice Brio bun good Savory profile got some sweetness from the honey a little bit of heat not too much that's why I like the extra hot honey cuz they they sell extra hot versions of it cuz it's got a little bit more of a blaze to it it's a good sandwich it's a very solid sandwich again I want more heat to it um but I like what I got good layer of bacon nice Brio bun 7 and A2 so yeah that is your new Duncan menu um the s'mores cob bre definitely one to go for very uh mixed bag of things not like last time last time I was on like this huge high for everything but this time I think really it comes down to um down to just getting like a s'mores latte s'mores C Brew the doughnut really good hot honey sandwich pretty good but yeah just uh kind of engag from there and uh hopefully this 20 minute video didn't bore you make you fall asleep and other than that I'll see y'all around y
