Berg One all right let's get into it I want to talk about all the drama that went on this weekend we've seen some big flips some big commitments Texas they move into the five spot as FSU might be going into a death spiral here soon Auburn we talked about him all weekend all week last week they were surging but then they drop a big game to cow at home and they they lose a spot this weekend they were at number five we're talking about Auburn making a run at number one well they come out of the weekend at number six so I've been keeping an eye on a few things this weekend some of the biggest moves of the past 24 hours and in this video I got five major developments that I want to cover these are kind of in order of what I thought was most shocking at least to me so let's start with the talk to Hayes faucet Hayes told me that on Thursday Myan Charles came to him and said that he was going to decommit he might decommit he wasn't sure but in the end it's a full-on flip to Texas now Texas wasn't the only program that was chasing Myan Charles and trying to flip him to F from FSU the Gators as well I think that they were a little shocked that this went down when it did I know Miami was hoping to get Meer and Charles on campus that didn't happen because it's only week two of the season and Myon Charles makes it official he flips to Texas in the Longhorns they now have the number five class in America remember entering the month of August they were sitting there around 14 or 15 so an incredible run a Hot August turns into an even maybe an even hotter September we'll have to wait and see all right the next biggest development that I saw was linebacker Ty Jackson committing to USC on his official visit Ty Jackson is on Three's number one linebacker now the industry has him rated a little bit higher than on three but for on three he is our number one linebacker in America now he was expected he had said multiple times that he intended to take his decision into December so we thought there was a couple months left in Tai Jackson's recruitment well we were wrong we also thought this was a Southeast battle I thought it was UF FSU I thought Miami was trying to get involved here but Alabama was certainly involved as well but in the end USC is hot on the trail and they capitalize he's from the state of Florida took his OV this weekend saw what he needed to see and Ty Jackson commits to USC now we know they got to hold on to him but at this point you know it's different for USC to land a prospect from the southeast in September than it is in March a lot less months to try to hold on to him so Ty Jackson now a USC Trojan huge development and I don't know who this shocks the most I probably say UF and FSU I think the two instate teams one they both really needed him because they both have a major need at linebacker and two I mean he's he's a borderline five star could have been one of theirs but in the end it's USC we'll see what happens there all right safety Rashad Johnson another one from the state of Florida he flips his commitment from Georgia to A&M actually the first flip of the day Johnson went down this went down just before ug kicked it off at home in Athens and remember last week it was Elijah Melendez who decommitted from Miami while the Miami team was on the field warming up this week it's Rashad Johnson now we'll see what happens with Georgia they're going to be okay Georgia's still going to make a run at the number one class in America do they turn the heat up on Georgia Tech commit safe safety commitment Rasheed Dinkins or are they going after Tay Harris now I don't know but Tay Harris was at that game in Atlanta he's a Clemson commit I know he was there on the Clemson sideline but ug was also involved in Tay Harris's commitment before he committed to Clemson that's one to watch all right another major development was five-star defensive lineman Justice Terry making a surprise visit to Alabama uh the destination wasn't that much of a surprise we know Justice Terry and Alabama are heavily involved with each other although Georg is the team that's trending Justice Terry showing up at Alabama for week two he'll be back for that Georgia game but Justice Terry a priority Target who you know most insiders think is George's to lose go up at Alabama once again I don't think this visit you know this visit by itself doesn't do much but when you start to put into account that he was there in July back in September we'll probably be back next month if you can get him on campus again before his visit I mean hey those visits start to stack up and they mean something speaking of visits stacking up the next major development was quarterback DJ picket visiting Miami now coming out of that game he was at the Miami UF game but that was in Gainesville he didn't visit Miami for that one he visited UF he came out of that game saying I'm going to make it to another Miami game it'll be the FSU game that one's in about five or six weeks well guess what DJ picket couldn't wait that long he showed up in week two for Miami versus FAMU now his cousin was with him he's a 2026 offensive lineman uh DJ Piet still committed to LSU plans to visit LSU plans to return to Miami I think right now I wouldn't be surprised if we see him at Miami again before that FSU game I mean he just keeps on popping up there we got to watch and see uh if I was an LSU fan I'd be mildly concerned I mean LSU did battle Miami to the when he made his commitment in July and they straight up beat Miami for him since then UF has faded but Miami they're still hanging in there there are still a team to watch so those are the biggest developments that I saw tell me what was your most surprising development of the weekend seemed like one of the most electric atmospheres we've seen at least this year in college football and since I couldn't be there at least I'm going to bring you guys a bunch of recruiting Intel there jump on board and hit subscribe for me please all right so much big news coming out of Lincoln Nebraska where should we start we'll start with five-star athlete Michael Terry III the number one athlete in America was back at Nebraska over the weekend and what a time was had now prior to this week and he was trending heavily to the Texas Longhorns we had Texas insiders we had National analysts everybody submitting their pick for the Longhorns but was it too early because Michael Terry the third coming out of that game had a great time talking to Texas insiders they feel that this this visit made an impact now Texas probably still the favorite here but I'm not counting Nebraska out I think they're going to get him back on campus again I can't imagine going and experiencing a game atmosphere like that and not wanting to come back for another one so Michael Terry and his whole family were there there's more on huskeronline.com about his trip Steve Wilfong caught up with him there's some quotes pretty good stuff we'll see what happens with Michael Terry the third but I think it was a very successful weekend when it comes to five-star recruiting all right let's move on to linebacker Christian Jones He is the number one player in the state he had a lot to say he said it was the loudest game he's ever been to quote the atmosphere was electric what continues to excite him is how coach rule is building a program up and the culture so you can tell that the 6 foot2 and a half 215b linebacker from the state of Nebraska is in intrigued I mean at this point I really like where the Huskers sit I think this was a huge visit for him he got to see it all in person he got to experience it and now Christian Jones the number one player in the state I think is in good hands I think I love where Nebraska sits with him all right now we know offensive line recruiting is Big last year in the 2024 cycle Nebraska made a run at five-star Brandon Baker out of California this cycle it was David Sanders the number one offensive tackle in America came to campus took his official visit Nebraska was right there in the end he ends up at Tennessee but now Nebraska has its sight set on another number one t offensive tackle this one from the 2026 class and that's Jackson kwell he was at all miss last weekend but as you could see from the video this weekend he was with Will Compton in Lincoln I got to imagine it was an experience he's never going to forget the groundwork has been laid for the number one offensive tackle in the 26 class maybe if David Sanders took a visit as early as Jackson kwell we'd be talking a little differently about that recruitment so you got to love the fact what Nebraska is doing and how they're attracting top names speaking of top names Cortez Mills made it in I know I know if you read the comment section we had Oklahoma fans every video saying Josh he's not going to go Josh he's he's committed to Oklahoma why would he make a visit to Nebraska well let me tell you guys how this works and what was going on here he didn't want Oklahoma to know that he was going so of course Steve Wilfong is sourced up as they come who do you think he was talking to when he said Cortez Mills was coming he was talking to Cortez Mills now the Oklahoma staff was probably hoping that he wasn't going to show or maybe they didn't know if he was going to take a visit to Nebraska so when it comes to sources my man Steve wal Fong's as good as they come and Cortez Mills visiting Nebraska to me is a very good sign so he nearly picked Nebraska when he committed in July I know uh Miami was is also heavily involved there but it seems like Nebraska is probably the only team that could flip Cortez Mills right now from Oklahoma the big question is will he return after that experience I don't know QB TJ Latif who's committed to Nebraska has been working on him I think they're going to be staying in contact so Cortez Mills a big visit just the fact that he showed up with all the rumors swirling that he's not going he does indeed show up at a big time game in Nebraska so we'll have to keep an eye on that and see what happens I don't think a flip is imminent I don't but I think if he shows up again I think that is going to be something we keep an eye on all right now we were talking about the number one player in the state that leads me to believe now I'm just connecting some Dots here but with Florida State spiraling losing myON Charles their number one defensive line commit in that class to Texas over the weekend the number two player in the state of Nebraska is also committed to FSU that's tight end commit Chase Lofton like I said the number two player in the state of Nebraska could we see a double back there I think so Nebraska recruiting right now is RedHot I think anybody that they go after especially these instate guys I think they're going to have a shot to flip down the road so keep an eye on Chase Lofton keep an eye on Christian Jones Nebraska recruiting coming off that dominant win over the Buffalo is only going up Texas flip Florida State's most important commitment and just like that the Longhorns they have a top five recruiting class but they are not done more to come and in this video I got just a Wells from inside Texas he's going to take us behind the scenes of the latest major recruiting developments in did on Saturday and what Texas getting in Myan Charles yeah so as soon as he committed to Florida state in the summer Texas was not backing off uh if anything they felt like you know this just this just makes it a little bit more interesting Texas needs 4 d lineman in the 2025 cycle they they need to restock that cupboard and my and Charles was at a Port Charlotte one of the top on that board they kept recuring him and then Florida State didn't look pretty good the first two weeks but Texas kept recruiting and so uh this this flip was already kind of in the works already we had reported about it uh earlier in the week we didn't know exactly when or if it was going to happen but hey I think it was kind of strategic that they went ahead and did it right after that big win over Michigan in the big house I I think they wanted some of that gather some of that momentum and some of that uh Good Fortune from Saturday and it was just a double down it would you know you beat a top 10 team on the road that defending national Champion then you flip a four fourstar from Florida myON Charles in Texas makes a lot of sense he's going to play early he joins Josiah Sharma who they flipped from Oregon uh two two less than two months ago they got two more spots open they got two more guys that they're eyeballing they're going to try to maybe flip another one or two so uh D line recruiting is starting to pick back up for Texas in 2025 speaking of Florida State spiral and does Texas still have its eyes on jav and Hilson the one time bamama commitment now with FSU a big bodied Edge that is highly valued does Hilson does Texas have a shot at flipping him yeah they're they still talk they they're still they're still having conversations I think Hilson start still having those conversations with a lot of programs um yeah this is one of those things where I think coaches smell blood in the water and with with FSU uh not having the best ideal start for 2024 Hilson's a guy that uh the top rank Guys these are where college coaches go and attack when they smell blood in a program they go straight for those type of players and Hilson is a Difference Maker that he is a tremendous Edge rusher and so they're they're gonna still try to push for him they've got Smith thebo on Three's number two Edge in the country they've got Lance Jackson potential five-star Edge out of Pleasant Grove they'd love to add a Hilson he he would be great for the class uh I'm not sure how hard they're pushing but they're still having conversations and I think Hilson's listening all right so how you feel now about five-star athletes Michael Terry III I know all the picks went in last week for him to Texas but this weekend he showed up in Lincoln Nebraska witnessed that big win over the CU Buffs and Coach Prime had a lot of great things to say but where do the where does the longhorn still stand yeah I think that Nebraska game was big I think that makes it a lot more interesting uh because Nebraska has really done a great job recruiting him Matt rule when you send an entire staff to San Antonio to see a player you're making him feel important and that's that's how you recruit you it's about relationships and and making them see that Vision you see in them and so I think what it does is it makes it more interesting Friday night during Michael Terry's game of course he's sporting the the Texas Longhorn gloves and and listen the horns are still you know the I wouldn't say the leader in that recruitment but they are definitely the one I think other teams are chasing but with Nebraska's big win I mean they absolutely humbled Colorado and and shadur Sanders I think that makes it interesting I think that makes this recruitment a little bit more something we're gonna have to pay closer attention to I still think he ends up at Texas I still think Nebraska is gonna continue to push and push and selling him on that primary wide receiver spot don't sleep on Matt rule uh they don't want to let they don't want to let that guy go they want to get that guy as much as possible but I also think on the other side Michael Terry is watching Texas and one of the most dominant performances in teams we've seen from that bunch in that program in probably a decade yeah and you said it Nebraska had a humbling win over Colorado a four- win program last year but Texas I mean they went out and they humbled the reigning National Champion Michigan Wolverines what has been the general recruit reaction to Texas beating Michigan wow like I a lot of these guys I talked to beforehand thought Texas was probably going to win and the scores and the prediction were relatively low I don't think they expected Texas to go up there and spank them like a stepchild I really don't only a few people I think Rick nisle one of the sports an college football analysts kind of predicted that but guys JV and Osborne the number one running back in the country for 2026 out of fory Texas he was there we were literally texting during the game and his thoughts were I love what Texas is doing I love the speed it's this is a mismatch uh the horns had such a great great game plan talk to diaab Bell the quarterback five-star quarterback out of U Florida committed to Texas he said Sark was in his bag he kind of expected what he saw he said look when you give Sark all those guys he's gonna score points and that's what he does uh J James Simon running back commit out of Calvary Baptist and streetport who I went to go see on Friday he predicted 42-28 and he said yeah I expected that Texas to come out and beat him uh I think he said he told me the score he had was a little too high he said yeah I shouldn't have put Michigan at 28 but that was my fault um and so uh John turntin number one of the top offensive tackles in the country for 2026 told our Charlie Williams yeah that was actually what he expected to see and that he was thoroughly impressed and and Texas continues to push the envelope for that top tackle in the state of Texas I think the horns have a ginormous lead there and so you know Jamie French talked to him a little bit and he said that's exactly what a wide receiver wants to see uh when they watch a game on Saturday the balance uh the the the play calling the opportunities you know Texas is it's almost like Sark is a is is opening up a ton of toys on Christmas morning and you you have so many options you almost don't know what you're you're so excited you you don't want to miss one but you want to play with this one but you don't want to neglect that one but you want to make sure you like talk about having a great problem that Texas offense with quinnn ERS and that offensive line the way they gotta push against that defensive front for Michigan that I feel like might be one of the best in the country this 2024 Texas Longhorn team is just scratching the surface you can feel it and you can feel recruiting it is heating up from cane sport now there is a surprise visitor on campus his name is DJ picket he's not a surprise name for fans fans well know that five-star name DJ picket uh how H how did you find out he was coming and when did you know yeah so this kind of developed you know later in the week kind of Thursday Friday and you know obviously with pick and making that move down and Cade was coming to see you know the Miami Hurricanes for the second week in a row he saw a great sh program and that's kind of been his biggest thing he wants to see Miami continue to dominate this year obviously committed to LSU but that hasn't stopped the H hurricanes from chipping away in his Recruitment and I think they're doing a great job of it just getting a guy like that on campas around the staff is a win in my opinion for the canes and it looks like things went well this weekend for the canes and picket so good continue moderating this he's got to be back in South Florida once again for that Florida State game as well too later this season so Miami is doing a great job in this recruitment I think just slowly chipping away and I think you can directly credit this to winning on the field right I mean DJ picket he visit he saw Miami play last week but he didn't watch it from Coral Gables he was a visitor of the fora Gators last week but with what Miami did I mean coming out of that trip yeah DJ picket said I'm going to return to Miami but everybody thought it was going to be for the Florida State game which is in another five or six weeks well he ends up showing up in Coral Gables week two I mean how significant of a development do you think this was I think that's absolutely massive like you mentioned he didn't plan on returning to Miami until Florida State he sees that great showing for the can's get back on campus getting him around that staff and around those players is awesome you know you have guys like Drake stubs and Miami 2025 commit that said after the game he was in picket ear trying to get him to come to the canes you know just things little things like that are huge getting a you know a big time Prospect one of Miami's top Targets in the 2025 class back on campus in that Stadium seeing Miami dominate all right toward the end of the summer you know I asked you about TJ Alfred I asked Matt Parker with our Letterman row site of Ohio State site about TJ Al Al and it didn't seem like there was much going on between Alford and really any other program but he shows up at Miami week 2 I haven't seen any of the Articles or anything but was this just a hey I want to go to a local game or was there more significance to Alfred showing up I believe there's a little bit more sign significance in that obviously Miami loses a linebacker in 2025 uh fourstar linebacker Elijah Mendes and then you know you know you get another you know Big Time prospect on campus just a week later so I feel like the canes are kind kind of you know trying to find that next linebacker in that 2025 class obviously I don't think they ever moved off of TJ Alfred but having three linebackers committed him committed elsewhere now things open up a little bit you start showing that interest turn up the heat a little bit more drive is not too far from him his dad is uh from Miami so he loves the canes loves being around that staff and he just feels that family Vibe with the cane so going to be watching this recruitment a little bit more as we continue through the season yeah I'm definitely going to keep an eye on that we know Miami likes to get busy with Ohio State commitments as it gets closer to December it seems like a tradition with Mario Chris Ball but we'll keep an eye on that uh let's keep the flip Target theme going dallis Wilson he's been committed to Oregon for over a year at this point uh he's from Tampa Florida been committed to Oregon for over a year he's a big b i mean there's really not a better looking wide receiver in the State of Florida than Dallas Wilson so of course all the teams in the state would love to keep him but it seems like Miami is the one program right now that has a shot and I say they have a shot because we know they're still in Conta Dallas Wilson didn't make it to the game but isbi what's going on between Miami and Wilson yeah Wilson's been one of the hurin top wide receiver targets and top targets overall in that 2025 class for some time and they're similar where DJ picket just chipping away chipping away trying to keep one of the sunshine State's best prospects in the State of Florida this 2025 class don't know how much you want to put weight to this but during his game on Friday was rocking my Miami gloves Miami CLE so there's definitely some interest there and obviously Miami is trying to get him back on campus if I think they do I think that'll be very very significant in that recruitment but Miami's not going to give up until national Signing Day with Dallas wil who they very very very think very highly of all right so for those scoring at home he had on Miami gear was it a was it a towel was it gloves was it a Vibe what kind of Miami gear did he have on so he had the gloves in the CLE don't know how much you want to weigh you're into that but hey he's repping the canes committed to organ so that's a little bit of something there for you fans out there yeah hey Miami fans in the Kevin Wy he's an under the raar recruit he's from Armwood High School which is a Powerhouse High School in Tampa Florida uh running back there is already committed to Miami now Kellen Wy he's on the radar how big of a priority is he and is Miami pushing for a commitment here yeah Miami is really really turning things up in the recruitment of Kellen Wy like you mentioned kind of under the radar guy but he came in uh week one of his high school season down to South Florida and his Armwood Squad really really beat up Miami new Orland which is a Powerhouse down here that caught the attention of the Miami Hurricane staff they offered him a week later and then two weeks later he's on campus uh he's setting up an official visit with the canes right now and I think things you know are starting to really really developed between those two sides this summer only took two official visits to Maryland and Toledo so things were kind of slow this summer but you know things were amping up for him and I think miam is really prioritized to Kell Wy and they really love his versatility 6'4 210 pounds can play a lot of spots on that side of the ball so going to be watching this one as well too all to us all yeah I think not a complete shocker we had got tipped off a little bit that he could come in now when you got a guy like justice Terry we've heard that before and he hasn't actually made it other times he has made it so we were poisoned and ready so the minute he hit campus bam online had a story up and we you know that that what we expect to be the impact of him visiting and just you know Monumental moment for Alabama to get that guy on campus one of the elite players not committed five star across the board defensive lineman you know very big visit yeah uh you know everybody on our not just our Network I mean everybody has them trending to ug but you know this is a second visit he was he was there in July he's back again in September I mean these visits are kind of adding up and becoming consistent do you expect that we see him um maybe once or twice more before he makes a final decision yeah for sure he's already said he was coming for the Alabama Georgia game which makes sense I mean he's looking at George obviously I think you have to say George is a factor in this right I don't think you can abely can eliminate them at all but also you heard the same thing about Caleb DS Justice Haynes there's a list of guys that were George and I think that was what everyone said when he decommitted from USC that he's going to commit to George and it wouldn't take long well it's taken a lot longer than they expected all right now there's been some Buzz around Bama's commits from the Sip but this weekend both were on campus running back AK deer and five-star wide receiver Caleb Cunningham we both in Tusk Loa what's the latest word on those two coming out of the weekend you know I think Mississippi just has a reputation where people think kids always play games I mean AK deer said he solid he's came he doesn't say a lot now but he has came back to back to Alabama we've had people that saw him he's very excited his family comes with him I think he's closer to Alabama than any other college in the country in fact um uh and then AK and Caleb both coming in on the same weekend I think Caleb drew the most interest because he went to Old Miss last weekend and look I'm we've been doing this a long time you and you Josh and I think these kids should take visits so they want to I've always felt that way but especially with the portal so but getting Caleb back on campus getting AK deer back on Camp campus for the second time in a row very important yeah but you know Tim you know how it goes like you said we've been covering this for a long time 90% of the times when a committed Prospect takes a visit to another program especially inate it's just a visit but that 10% that 10% is what the Alabama fans remember and they just want to know is there reason for concern speaking of one Alabama commitment that took a visit but not to Tuscaloosa was Edge Dawson Meritt he was in Lincoln that Nebraska Colorado game any concern there I mean it's recruiting I don't think there's ever not concern you know what I mean at some point in every recruitment there's something that makes you worry you don't have to recruit them to get them committed you got to recruit them to get them signed and then when they're on campus you got to still to some degree keep recruiting them to keep them on campus so there's always some concern I mean the two things we say is you go by what they say and what our sources believe they say and how they act to the staff and Dawson's been great the entire time but you also say follow the visits I mean the one thing you look for in a situation like this did Dawson Meritt sneak over to Nebraska or try to keep it a secret no Alabama knew about it earlier in the week knew that he was going to take this visit he mentioned positive um I know he likes the secondary that Alabama has and he's going to have an opening one of the things when you look forward in the future you've got guys leaving for Alabama you got Malachi Moore who'll be leaving Keon Saabs draft eligible so you've got guys and also the one thing I think that's really impressed everybody when you look at it Alabama rotates a ton of defensive backs in they did in the first game they did it in the second game they're getting a lot of playing time we've seen young guys uh in that secondary play in red Morgan cornerbacks and uh uh safeties who get a
