GREAT WOLF LODGE MANTECA | Full Tour, Review & Hotel Stay!

Great Wolf Lodge Intro so I'm at the Great Wolf Lodge in Mantika California for the weekend and I want to find out is this place worth all the hype or is it disgusting the way some reviews claim that it is let's find [Music] out Reviews all right so if you have small kids there is a really good chance that you have heard about the Great Wolf Lodge for us we have been hearing about the Great Wolf Lodge and we have been getting begged to go here since the first time that my kids heard about this place however we have been a little bit nervous about coming here because of reviews like this and and this and also this so for my daughter's 10th birthday we decided to pack up the car and find out for ourselves is this place worth the hype or are the reviews true so for Check In & Rooms us check-in was a breeze we checked in later in the evening and there was literally zero line now when it comes to the types of rooms they offer here there's actually a lot to choose from their standard rooms look great and they're advertised as sleeping between four to six people next they have their themed rooms and these look like they're completely designed with kids in mind they also sleep about four to six people lastly they have their premium rooms that look exactly like the theme rooms but they look like they're able to accommodate larger groups we ended up going with a themed room and the Wolf Den Suite which was absolutely perfect for us it had a bunk bed with two twin beds it had a queen bed and it had a sofa bed pull out in spite of some negative reviews that we read online the room was fantastic it was extremely clean the air conditioner worked great the bedding was comfortable and most importantly our kids were so excited about the room now right off the bat this place is absolutely insane it is a hotel resort Water Park bowling alley ropes course restaurants this place has it all and very specifically designed for families and for children now we are going to go crazy and try literally everything here at the resort all the activities all the water park all the food and we're going to report back to you and let you know exactly what we think now I'm sure what everyone wants Waterpark to hear about first is the water park this thing is massive it's actually wild to think just how much they were able to fit into this indoor water park now this place is a stagger 95 5,000 square ft of fun and the water is kept at a perfect 84° all year long and again this place has it all there's a lazy river known as slap tail Pond for when you're wanting to just take it easy and not go crazy on the slides then there's Sequoia Splash one of their massive slides that the entire family could ride on together this slide was so much fun even the big kids in your group are going to enjoy it and at the center of everything is Fort McKenzie a four-story interactive water Fort treehouse with slides and tons of different water activities that the entire family will love just ask my son who spent about 95% of his time here at Fort McKenzie lastly the wave pool known as slap tail Pond was another favorite area that my kids absolutely loved another thing that just the big kids could enjoy was the watering hole I was pleasantly surprised with how delicious their cocktails were especially their margaritas now on to even more More Activities Adventures let's talk about the ropes course my wife and daughter had a great time on this course and huge shout out to my 10-year-old daughter who conquered so many of her fears by going on this course and now for a few more activities that the family will for sure love Magi Quest this is a digital interactive scavenger hunt that takes kids throughout the entire property and they all absolutely go crazy over it next is their bowling alley that is designed specifically with kids in mind there's also Oliver's mining company that allows kids to actually mine for precious stones and gemstones and lastly there was the howl in-one mini golf course directly underneath the ropes course now The Food let's talk about all of the food offerings at the Great Wolf Lodge there's a burger and fries place there's a pizza shop there's an ice cream shop there is a candy shop that I must say it was incredibly difficult trying to keep our kids out of this place for our breakfast and coffee we of course went with their on-site Dunkin Donut that had their full menu full lineup of delicious donuts and breakfast sandwiches and for our dinners we ate at the Barnwood restaurant what are you ordering for dinner uh chicken tenders chicken tenders and Fries that sounds delicious I'm going to get the turkey Jack melt the fire bra Chicken N stack Brew City onion ring Tower and the sweet cast iron cornbread are you serious we're reviewing all the food dad you got to help us review it yeah just give me the alcohol you that she T and speaking of alcohol I was so surprised they actually had a decent wine menu we went with this Napa Valley Cabernet Savon and it was absolutely fantastic now the only thing on this menu that wasn't fantastic were these nachos they were horrible that being said the onion ring Tower was delicious and oh my God this honey cornbread was the stuff that dreams are made of I would literally come back here just to eat this cornbread again both kids said their chicken strips and Fries were delicious my father-in-law said that his Burger was one of the best that he had ever had Jen's turkey melt was great and my chicken sandwich was amazing all of us at the table were so pleasantly shocked with just how delicious all of the food was oh yeah and my daughter's birthday dessert was so so good the next day for lunch we tried out there hungry as a wolf pizza place and again pleasantly surprised now it could have been that we were all incredibly hungry from a full day of water slides but even the kids agreed this pizza place deserved a big thumbs up so was the Final Thoughts Great Wolf Lodge worth it ABS freaking lutely it truly has something for everyone we had so much fun here the food was amazing the drinks were amazing the kids went crazy and never wanted to stop I think the thing that I was the most surprised about coming here was just how good the food is and like that wine selection in the restaurant was pretty unbelievable we drank some really good wine and we ate some really good food last night even if water parks aren't your cup of tea this place has something for literally everyone in your family in your group it was so much fun I had so much fun and I was really worried about coming here with some of the reviews that I read any place like this is always going to be subject to Crazy reviews but my family had an absolute blast and we are already planning our next weekend getaway here to the Great Wolf Lodge so if you're on the fence or if you think maybe this isn't for you or you're worried about some of the things that you've heard trust me this
