can't believe it it's a Frid once again all righty everybody welcome welcome welcome it is Friday once again it's a Friday once again welcome welcome welcome to the Central Committee stream with your host Mike from PA I I know this is not a sports Community but ripped Johnny and mat grro hockey lost a great player uh they were hit by a car while biking North American North American [ __ ] transportation is more dangerous than any other developed countries Jes well uh everybody welcome it is Friday today um the Harris walls interview happened it's exactly kind of what You Know listen ever since the K Harris speech I've known what was going to happen Okay the Reas here's the reality it's got I'll explain it to you very simply KLA Harris is a careerist and she's risk averse and it's worked out for her she's a machine politici you know like she's never going to she's just going to do what is considered to be the least risky thing to do that's just always going to be kobir so if you want her to side against Israel it has to be riskier than siding with Israel that's it that's it I mean that's why she was on the Left Flank of the democratic party when she was a senator from California because that was the least risky thing to do be considered a progressive and then nothing's going to happen to you he also knew that none of the you know this is one of those things where like I would like to go back in time and talk to people in 2020 because a lot of the arguments he would make back then is oh Harris is actually more Progressive than Bernie you're a racist and a sexist if you support Bernie Sanders over kamla Harris that was the type of conversations we were having in 2020 oh why do you want why do you care about the difference between a public option and Medicare for all all these all these Democratic politicians support Healthcare reform why are you being a racist and a sexist and an anti-semite by choosing Bernie Sanders have you seen banata saying Harris is hassad is glossing Harris Bata just doesn't know what he's talking about on this that's all and like you know it is what it is you know it is what it is like it's just not it's just not accurate he doesn't pay attention to Hassan much Hassan did go to the DNC and he spoke to the people that are opposed to the genocide that's the you know Greg khazar and whether you like him or not Rana are one of the better America politicians on this issue Hanan went to the Palestine protests and then he got kicked out and as far as I know like what is what are you going to say you I think that there's a lot of like I don't know how to put this the best analogy I can give is somebody who's had their heart broken and never got over it so whenever they get into a situation where you know uh somebody might have the ability to betray them they just assume that they're betrayed already and they treat the person like they've betrayed them already and it's just like you know it's just rid it's just like okay you don't actually wait for the evidence because you're emotional you're acting emotional and that's quite frankly the way he's acting you know I can't believe he'd platformed the DNC yeah it's I think the one thing Han is [ __ ] [ __ ] up on is not making a clear toand for Harris whenever he's asked about voting he just says I'm not telling you who to vote for said I won't be voting for Kabal Harris until there is an arms embargo and ceasefire the thing is grev like the reality is that I'm one of the few people that you're going to watch who doesn't give a [ __ ] because I don't have any like any what do I have to lose the stuff that I built up myself you know what I mean like there's there's nothing here that I didn't you know that I didn't create and build up this is my [ __ ] I don't you know nobody has any leverage over me nobody he said he had a Clos in saying that there were some were giving her benefit of the doubt including H the video was about how V is a liberal pedophile yeah I any attacks on Hassan about his DNC trip are just uninformed that's it and a lot of people you have to understand that there's a lot of people who call themselves leftists and who are notc and a lot of those people are just how do I put this they're they're they're people who got attention during the 2020 cycle uh as a Bernie supporter and being a Bernie supporter in 2020 doesn't mean you're actually a leftist you know like that was just a sign of the strength of Bird's campaign is that he got a lot of people to think they were leftists because they supported Bernie Sanders right because he was running an electoral [ __ ] campaign and he had a successful electoral campaign so a bunch of people who don't know what the [ __ ] they're talking about liked Bernie and but they think that somehow by liking Bernie they now are leftist so anything they believe or think is what leftists believe or think and it causes this kind of like tension of like uh you know these people are dumb as [ __ ] you know I think I think H's take thank you gifm for the 10 tier ones by the way you're the best I think with with Hanan I disagree with that um I just believe in making firm clear demands uh and uh if somebody says well you're hurting you know people of color blah blah blah it's kind of this annoying radlib trap you can fall into where you're like you know a lot of people write you off because people are shitalking you this is another thing that people who are not involved in politics don't understand and this is also a reason why a lot of people don't want to get involved in politics because as soon as you pick aided politics you instantly make 60 million enemies maybe not that many but you're basically making a [ __ ] ton of enemies because as soon as you're like oh yeah Donald Trump is a fascist all of Donald Trump's fans are going to be mad at you so you're talking about Millions upon Millions upon billions upon people so even if it's clear what right and wrong is the moment you get in there and you start talking about these issues you're making enemies much faster than you're making Friends by the way it's literally such a bad argument because a weapons embargo both helps cabala and mitigates the threat of BB condition your vote on a ceasefire makes Harris more likely to win you have to understand here's what you guys don't seem to understand here's what you don't seem to understand is that America is compromised by Fascism and in the Democratic party the fascist collaborators are those are zionists and their supporters that's why you don't see much push back on the right against Israel the reason why you don't see much push back on the right from Israel uh on Israel is that everybody on the right understands that Zionism is fascism and they support fascism what Israel is doing to Palestinians Republicans want to be able to do to migrants to Muslims to uh domestic enemies here so like there's no desire to to you know all the all the methods and all the forms of Oppression that are being uh you know deployed against Palestinians are going to be deployed against the left and you know we are entering an era of eco- fascism um all the doomers were right uh it it's over uh liberalism is dead it's barbarism the socialism will be represented by China and the blocks that Ally with China and barbarism will be uh uh the United States and those countries that align with the United States you're behind fascist lines sorry it is what it is uh comma Harris has made that very clear to me like in the past few weeks um they don't really talk about climate change anymore as it's as climate change has become more and more irrefutable it has receded more and more from the conversation as climate change has become more and more likely as the risk of climate change blow off that's where like you know the the ipcc reports of the worst case scenario seem more and more likely or even worse than the worst case scenario the more they're not talking about it the more they're making fossil fuel use permanent I mean in in Texas they're going to spend $150 billion doar on lane widening you guys understand that the entire J Chinese highspeed rail system cost like 250 billion and it they built three they built like 30 million excuse me 30,000 miles of highspeed rail which would be the equivalent of Criss Crossing America 10 times the United States can't build a high-speed rail from LA to San Francisco I mean there's been absolutely no progress in climate change the uh outside of China none all of the reductions in fossil fuel uh intensity in the United States is because we use natural gas instead of coal but the improvements that that makes are relative and they and then they hit a brick wall because all your infrastructure is [ __ ] a natural gas you're not going to keep going down in carbon intensity and this is what people and and woids can't handle this this is four years ago there's a lot more someone who just rode the trade syst of there it's truly impressive how quickly and well they build all this then in California they can't get three miles of track done in 15 years United States of America is just not going to be able to to to you know it can't compete you know that's the that's the main thing you know that's my main positive you know Outlook is is it's just you know we should just get into the interview I guess or or uh this a non geod darst here's one of these fake progressives here's another one of those fake progressives that just disgust me look at this pathetic [ __ ] this highspeed trains I me this is three years ago they've done so much more since then so Anand uh let's talk about the in we come through a lot of it in our last hour we seeing some fresh uh sound bites there today but just in this hour going at some of the issues on which she has held different positions last hour we talked uh in some detail about fracking she's saying very clearly no I not going to ban fracking I said that as the Vice Presidential nominee in 2020 I'm saying it now as the Democratic nominee for president we're not going to ban fracking despite what I said in 2019 during my own primary campaign now talking about immigration that she does not want to decrim decriminalize Illegal immigration um so what did you make of that as a voter an independent voter who is sitting there saying which version of Vice President Harris should I believe the one in front of me now or the one who was in the Senate and the one who ran for president in 2019 what she's saying effectively is well let's take a look at the first one which is fracking support for fracking ban in PA Pennsylvania strongly support a Crackdown on fracking nine and 10 pennsylvanians are concerned about water and air pollution a majority of pennsylvanians supported end def fracking 25% say fracking should be Ended as soon as possible and 30% say fracking should be phased out over time 5050 55% 40 I mean like the idea of the idea that fracking is some sort of like oh pennsylvanians adore fracking and oh no you wanted to you wanted to phase out fracking that's so unpopular it's just not true that's just not true the vast majority of pennsylvanians that she wants to win live in places where there is I one no fracking or two they're on who could keep it away from them because you know the whole health issues so the idea that fracking is it's like oh man if you if you do if you support fracking regulation Pennsylvania's lost to you is just false especially if you came out and attacked it at oil and gas companies and you went on the offense instead of being a little bitch-ass coward but the reason why she's doing that is because she's corrupt like Joe Biden was corrupt that's why we didn't want to support him in 2020 congratulations believe what I'm saying now does she make a convincing case yeah I think she did and and I think sometimes we're not honest with ourselves about you know a couple things first of all we changed our minds uh all the time based on information based on where we're sitting based on whether we're a junior person at the office or the person running the office um and it's actually normal uh we should normalize changing your mind I think sometimes we in journalism um shame people kind of figuring out a different view that they might hold and call it flip-flopping and try to kind of catch people in it when in in in some ways on some issues that's a measure of of progress I think we also need to recognize that she is different context right now than she was in a 2020 Democratic primary she's in a general election against an American fascist Donald Trump and you know let's let's just be real like you need to sometimes do different things in a general election against a far-right candidate than you do in a primary like I I I don't think we can kind of pretend that's not the case I think she said something by way of here's the thing that's here's here's the problem here's the problem with this MSNBC bra brainless propaganda and why um we are as a species in deep trouble is because let's let's let's be honest about what's going on here everybody that's making this wants to vote for KLA Harris that's the conclusion they want to make and they're just rationalizing that exp poost facto with [ __ ] why does she not want to ban fracking like what's the logic why did she why did she change her mind okay you're saying she changed her mind based on information what's the information what's the information that she's you know balancing like you know why why is she changing her mind what about fracking is good that she didn't realize back in 20120 can you explain the the r see here's the thing and and uh and I I don't know how to put this and I know it's going to sound I don't know arrogant or whatever but like do you do you guys think you're stupid like do you like are do you not trust that you can figure [ __ ] out if people tell you the answers or tell you the rational like do you not think that you can follow an argument from you know and and find and and then judge for yourself whether it's persuasive or not because like what's really weird here is like with MSNBC they're talking about her changing her mind like it's your mom changing her mind or something and you're five you know your mom decided to uh you know the difference between you know 50% Bond stock allocation versus 60 40% Bond stock allocation for her retirement account and you're 5 years old and somebody's tried to explain it to you this is not the situation I'm an adult I can understand what fracking is and what global warming is you're saying she change her mind why I can observe she changed her mind but what's the reasoning for her changing her mind and this is what the Democrats don't ever do they don't ever tell you why she changed her mind what why did she change her mind from Medicare for all to nothing apparently because we're not talking about health insurance what is the reason she wants to do it give me the rationale but that's never done that is shockingly I mean I anti-democratic it is it is shameful propagandistic we're going to spend 11 minutes talking about why we should normalize changing our mind without actually explaining why she changed her mind on this policy it's infanti this is baby [ __ ] for babies that guy Brian had a great post about this topic recently us politicians the media talk to us like we're infants look at Amo explain why judicial reform is report look at the Cuban government explain why prices are going up Etc we are long past the Fireside shats I mean like you know it I might be persuaded by the argument she's making the answer is I wouldn't because I know every single side of the argument on fracking why because I ran for office in Pennsylvania I'm from Pennsylvania I had a position as a politician on fracking you know what my position was in 2014 this is before the Bernie Sanders Democratic Socialist Revolution you what my position was a moratorium on fracking and a uh enacting a massive Severance tax on oil and gas companies that was my position in 2014 here we are 10 years of global warming later and she's got nothing she's to my right that's insane and again what's the argument well um we need to export natural gas to Europe that's the argument we need to Frack Pennsylvania so we can export the natural gas to Europe that's the argument that's the that's the big uh policy program [ __ ] infantile [ __ ] explanation of that that actually was quite interesting and moving and goes beyond the familiar kind of tack into the center she talked about this notion of consensus when she was kind of pressed on this idea of reversal and she said I believe we have to work toward a consensus of how we can solve these things and I think that okay clap trap complete clap trap insulting to your intelligence consensus on what to do what e I I I don't know what to say man I I don't know what to say this is this is beyond pathetic like pathetic doesn't even begin to started kind of allows you to square the circle which is to say and this is true for a lot of liberals uh you know in American life where I think a lot of liberals who would distinguish themselves from progressives um actually share Progressive ideals in a certain form share a certain notion of what immigration should be like literally nothing of this this is all pum to I mean like there's nothing here there's nothing here don't think the way the right does cracked out a boy in the US and guys like this at are MSNBC now imagine if they I mean yeah share certain Notions about you know preferring people to have healthare to not having healthare where liberals and progressives often differ is like their sense of how much power they're willing to smash to do it where they think other people are and so she talked about look I have had I've expressed some of these ideals but we have to be mindful particularly in the position she's in now of where other people are where the country is what can a large majority people be led to want and be led to fight for uh and I think that's a reasonable position to take even if it's not you know the same as my position on any given an issue and so okay so okay so I mean and this right here is the Democratic party in a nutshell right this is the Democratic Party in the nutshell um and I I think that's why we should destroy the Democratic party and everybody who likes it uh you're [ __ ] stupid you're you're actually not even human um you're a pathetic [ __ ] loser uh there's really nothing more to say uh and why do I say that let me explain why I why I have such contempt for these cowards it'd be one thing if the Democratic party said oh we're extreme Democrats we don't believe the elite have anything to offer you know we're just going to do a poll and then whatever the majority of Americans say is what the position that we're going to adopt so vote for me and I will be the direct democracy Cipher for Americans a majority of Americans want to restrict immigration okay we will RK restrict immigration but that's not what the Democratic party does 70% of Americans want to get a the end of the war in Gaza that that position is totally ignored you know on issue oh a massive majority of Americas don't want to support Ukraine with billions and billions of dollars suddenly the elites have an idea of what we should do and ignore what the dumb little uh pathetic uh voters believe and go down the line issue after issue suddenly they have an idea that is different from the suddenly popularism doesn't work anymore whenever it's something that the connected Rich Elite want and I just completely don't believe that a fracking has a majority supported Pennsylvania for it to be unregulated number one and number two that even if you had a different position that it would make a significant number of pennsylvanians vote against you because like they're very comfortable with uh pushing this genocided Gaza even though the vast majority of young people are against it because they say it's not their number one issue you think it's a number one issue for pennsylvanians to make fracking unregulated and you're right that the the underlying message of let's turn the page we're not going back is that the stakes are so high that we cannot return to the years of Donald Trump that's a position and something she said very explicitly in that interview yesterday we showed some of Donald Trump's reaction making very plain to the American public how different these two are just visually watching vice president Harris give an interview talk coherently about policy whether you agree or not I mean do you get what I mean about the infantile this infantile [ __ ] do you get it like listen to what he just said let's let's run that back very plain to the American public how different these two are just visually watching vice president Harris how different these two are visually legitimately one of the dumbest things I've ever heard in my life continue give an interview talk coherently about policy whether you agree or not and also to have sort of just an aect a more caling affect than the chaos that comes you see what I Bean it's like we're in kindergarten Donald Trump would not be a good kindergarten teacher Jack Kay Harris would be a much better kindergarten teacher what are you talking about with Donald Trump how important how powerful is that contrast I mean that is just there's only one response to that question which is you're a [ __ ] idiot that was Gobbledy G word salad and everyone who's an adult that listened to that should be ashamed you're a [ __ ] [ __ ] if the difference between kamla Harris and Donald Trump are just Optics and uh uh I don't know what's that like uh how would they even say I don't even want to say personality he didn't even use the word personality it was just like affect you know when I was watching last night and then and then just the clips that you were showing um three struck me first of all these are people with heart right they're just like people who I'm not saying they're off the chart I'm saying they're normal people who feel things for other people who who feel proud when their son loves them majority of Americans favor US military aid to Israel until the hostages are returned new polling says um 60% of this is from this must be from Harvard this the council Chicago Council survey what was the questions a slight majority of Americans say the potential escalation of the war Gau into a wider War poses a critical threat to the United States 52% only 67% of Americans say the October 7th was not justified oh my God that is so low when asked about Israel's continuing War at Gaza the US public is split under whether military action is Justified 32% or not 34% or 33% unsure many believe Israel is intentionally targeting all Palestinians 46% 46% of Americans say Israel is intentionally targeting civilians and they're going to oh my Lord only 39% said Israel is a positive force on the flip side 50% of Democrats told pollsters that Israel has God to as acted unjustifiably godam Jesus Christ you know and these things shouldn't be exceptional in American life but when you're running against Donald Trump and JD Vance being people with a heart is a really B how are you a person with a heart what does that mean you're [ __ ] 4 minutes in you haven't said a single goddamn thing big contrast um second these are people who know a lot about stuff to use a big word these you know just going into the the weeds if anything you know KLA Harris airs on the side of being very intricate in discussing some of these issues you know in a non- soundbite way and gosh what a relief to have someone who's whose sin sometimes is knowing too much about issues when she's up against a kind of babbling a like man like honest honest to God my respect for like people that are Dem partisan Democrats drops daily and this is this is actually pretty pretty funny because like like the the ability of of the hacks to even like that they don't even approximate an argument anymore it's just nonsense fascist and you know and finally these are to contrast with Tim Wall's favorite word word these are just normal people who who who I think are showing themselves to be normal and so what all that amounts to to mealing and genocide that's what normal people are spending their time thinking about sitting here waiting to come on is anti-inflammatory I think this this kind of notion of the last decade that the vice president was talking about it's been an inflammatory decade not just Donald Trump but the culture in general has been an inflammatory culture right and inflammation it's not just something getting bad like inflammation is what kills our bodies right a lot of things inflame us and there's some things that that are kind of anti-inflammatory our politics has been a a politics of inflammation of constant Warfare of everything dramatized even within our parties even within the internes sign splits and I think this ticket in many ways is an anti-inflammatory ticket downplaying the source of anti-Semitism is Jewish superiority and excellence oh my Lord the reason why people hate the Jews is because that we're we're super that's like literally out of Nazism holy Jesus kind of the personal issues of identity and gender that you that while significant can be inflammatory uh you know downplaying uh these kind of fights within progressives and moderates and frankly talking down Trump is kind of tired and and and weird uh and just past his prime rather than again inflaming him into this strongman monster which in some ways can be counterproductive as we know so I think we're seeing the politics of anti-inflammation uh and after a very inflammatory decade I think a lot of Americans are going to be drawn to it yeah to an exhausted American voting public a turning of the the page might feel pretty good right now Vice President Harris wrapped up her bus tour of Georgia with a rally in Savannah last night nearly every seat taken in the arena about 9,000 people in attendance there Harris is the first presidential candidate to campaign in Savannah since Bill Clinton did in 1992 underscoring just how vital the campaign views Georgia and how in play it now is Harris praised voters there for electing two Democrats to the United States Senate in 2020 and for helping to secure a win for for the Biden Harris ticket 4 years ago Georgia for the past two election Cycles voters in this very State you who are here have delivered you sent two extraordinary Senators to Washington DC you sent President Biden and me to the White House you showed up you knocked on doors you registered folks to vote and you made it happen you did that you did that and so now we are asking you to do it again do it again let's do it again TI Mitchell you know Georgia so well covering it with the AJC we're reminded of course of the 2020 election we can't forget because Donald Trump on that Infamous phone call with Secretary of State Brad raffensberger reminds us every time we hear it that the vote was under 12,000 in 2020 it was a state that the Biden campaign had worried maybe out of play this year but now that the Harris campaign has brought back into play what does it tell you the campaign is spending so much time in Georgia well I think it tells us two things number one I think it tells us that the campaigns you know internal polling indicates that Georgia is still winnable um otherwise they wouldn't be spending so many resources in the state but it also shows us that it's an important state for both campaigns and the more look how much like this is supposed to this supposed to be about policy and here we are just doing stupid [ __ ] like horse race [ __ ] it's just worthless all right let's watch this interview it's time for the Harris interview I I mean what do you what could you even say representative where is the full inter did they even post it are these like is like is this is this all of the interview or just sections of the interview Madam vice president governor Wells thank you so much for sitting down with me and bringing the bus the bus St is well underway here in Georgia you have less time to make your case to voters than any candidate in modern American history Christ the voters are really eager to hear what your plans are if you are elected what would you do on day one in the white house well there are a number of things I will tell you first and foremost well what this is so funny this is really funny what are you going to do with the white house that Joe Biden isn't already doing most one of my she has no answer 30 seconds nothing worthless you know it's tough to say what is the what is a good outcome in November um I don't know what a good outcome is in November anymore highest priorities is to do what we can to support and strengthen the middle class um when I look at meaningless paum insulting pablum the aspirations the goals the Ambitions of the American people I think that um people are ready for a new way forward um in a way that generations of Americans have been fueled by by hope and by optimism I think sadly in the last decade um we have had in the former president someone who has really been pushing an agenda and an envir what would you do if you were president uh strike through the middle class it's meaningless environment that is about diminishing um the character and the strength of Who We Are meaningless every single one of the things she's saying is utterly vapid what's happened to politics is that people feel like when you actually want them to talk about policies other people who you know get mad at you cuz it's like you know it's like you're you're a person who told the teacher that the homework is due or something really dividing our nation and I think people are ready to turn the page on that so what would you do day one day one it's going to be about one implementing my plan for what I call an opportunity economy I've already laid out a number of um proposals in that regard which include what we're going to do to bring down um the cost of everyday Goods what we're going to do to invest in America's small business what we're going to do to invest in families for example extending the child tax credit to $6,000 for families for the first year of their child's life to help them buy a car seat to help them buy baby clothes a crib um there's the work that we're going to do that is about investing in the American family around affordable housing a big issue in our country right now so there are a number of things on day one what about you well I'm excited about this agenda too as I said the idea of uh inspiring America to what can be and I think many of these things that the vice president's proposing are are uh are things that we share in values and the child tax cred is one we know that reduces childhood poverty by a third we did it in Minnesota to have a federal partner in this um unbel I mean like Harris like this is the thing about walls is walls is so much better of a politician than Harris that I actually start to think that she actually be may be way worse than than we think but because like she may just be profoundly incompetent uh she can't say anything believable I think in the impact that we can make you talked about you call it the opportunity uh economy you are well aware that right now many Americans are struggling there's a crisis of affordability one of your campaign themes is we're not going back but I wonder what you state of Voters who do want to go back when it comes to the economy specifically because their groceries were less expensive housing was more affordable When Donald Trump was President well let's start with the fact that when Joe Biden and I came in office during the height of a pandemic we saw over 10 million jobs were lost uh people by I mean literally we were all tracking the numbers hundreds of people day were dying because of covid um the economy had crashed in large part all of that because of mismanagement by Donald Trump of that crisis when we came in our highest priority was to do what we could to rescue America and today we know that we have inflation at under 3% a lot of our policies have led to the reality that America recovered faster than any wealthy Nation around the world but you are right prices in particular for grocer are still too high the American people know it I know it which is why my agenda includes what we need to do to bring down the price of groceries for example dealing with an issue like price gouging what we need to do to extend the child tax credit to help young families be able to take care of their children in their most formative years what we need to do to bring down the cost of housing my proposal includes what would be a tax credit of $25,000 for firsttime home buyers so they can just hold on I got to back this up hold on what would be a tax credit of 25,000 what we need to do includes what we need to do to bring down the price of groceries for example dealing with an issue like price gouging what we need to do to extend the child tax credit to help young families be able to take care of their children in their most formative years what we need to do to bring down the cost of housing my proposal includes what would be a tax credit of $25,000 for firsttime home buyers so they can just have enough to a down payment on a home which is part of the American dream and their aspiration but do it in a way that allows to them to actually get on the path to achieving that goal and that dream so you is it safe to assume greedy markets would adjust and housing would go up like 25k so this is this is always a fun little exercise because the answer is of course not of course not first of all uh you when you have money to buy a house it gets multiplied by four times because you get a mortgage so if you bring $200,000 to your you can get a you know you get you can buy a million dooll house cuz you get $800,000 in mortgage you know the 8020 split now with the first time home firsttime home buyer programs you can often times get as low as like 5% or even lower depending upon the specific program uh down payment then you need a PMI which is private mortgage insurance which is an additional you have to pay a premium until your Equity gets higher than 20% uh but it is not no the answer to that is no um would it raise prices for housing well the answer to that is how do prices work I would say on net if the $25,000 Aid to buy a house increases demand for house will that increase the demand for housing well will more people try to buy a house if everybody has every firsttime home buyer has access to a $225,000 subsidy the answer is yes there will be an increased demand in housing will that make it go up $225,000 no of course not one not everybody is going to be eligible for the 25,000 and number two not everybody's going to try to buy a house even with the $25,000 credit so sub percentage of that $25,000 credit Will acre to people who already own homes but and it may cause an increase in demand in housing so her policy will assist in uh people who um are having trouble getting together a down payment but are otherwise qualified for buying a house but it will increase the price of housing slightly as Inc as you know more people are able to buy the housing that's what that's that's the reality now if you are a uh uh a capital list you would say well see that would therefore if the price of housing goes up a little bit that will incentivize more Construction in housing so is the crisis that we're facing today a demand side crisis is the question I guess I should be asking and I think it's not I think it's absolutely not do I think this policy is bad I think this policy doesn't address the main problem which is we have a supply problem not a demand problem this would be an amazing program in 2010 not that great of a problem in 2024 uh program we need Supply but the thing about Supply is it's pretty hard to be a neoliberal and stimulate Supply neoliberals are on the demand side that's where they like to Tinker they don't like to Tinker with the supply side that's communism my question is if you can't afford a dow payment how are you able to afford the mortgage of 2020 if the average home is 50,000 the mortgage loone is going to be more than 2K a month first of all way more than 2K it's way more than 2K okay what's like the the average out payment for a first timeo buyer is 8% but some programs allow for a little as 3% down so let's go ahead and uh let's do 8% because that's the average right well let's do 3% cuz that's fun that would be $3,461 a month the typical home buyers down payment Rose to 14.8% year-over-year in June to 67,500 a new record this is up from $ 58,7 188 in the previous year and the 12 straight monthly increase according to red fin this is wor than double the prepandemic average of 30,000 over the last last four years the media down payment has now up a massive 167% from $25,300 the typical down payment on a us home could could uh soon pass median household income truly remarkable by the way this is why people like Trump look this was the low alltime low mediate household income spent on annual mortgage payments was an all-time low was was in in uh in the Trump admin like well going back to the the like the '90s let's assume a 20% down payment just for Giggles oh credit score of 740 what about a credit score of they don't even allow you to go below 660 which is interesting what what 660 what would that be let's see average average home price in Los Angeles the median listing price for a home in Los Angeles was 1.2 million and the median home sold price was 1.4 million he redfit says it's 1.1 million for the sale price LA's $1 million median home is an outrage we could have prevented so let's just say it's a million all right down payment of 20% uh let's go ahead and get yourself a nice 700 credit score there you go average median home in La New York Times calls interview vague and vacuous yeah oh that's Brett Stevens who gives a [ __ ] about Brett Stevens even if I agree with him I don't care fighting in Gaza is set to pause for polio vaccinations a there's so many right Wingers in the New York Times man it's crazy Libs really do subsidize right wiers all right let's get back to the interview sorry I just wanted to show you guys that's the median home insane you have been vice president for three and a half years the steps that you're talking about now why haven't you done them already well first of all we had to recover as an economy and we have done that I'm very proud of the work that we have done that has brought inflation down to less than 3% the work that we have done to cap the cost of insulin at $35 a month for seniors Donald Trump said he was going to do a number of things including allowing Medicare to negotiate drug prices never happened we did it so now and I as I travel in the state of Georgia and around our country the number of seniors that have benefited I've met I was in Nevada recently a a a grandmother who showed me her receipts and before we kep the cost of insulin for seniors at $35 a month she was playing hundreds of dollars up to thousands of dollars a month for her insulin she's not doing that anymore you maintain biomics is a success I maintain that when we do the work of bringing down prescription medication for the American people including capping the cost of the annual cost of prescription medication for seniors at $2,000 when we do what we did in the first year of being in office to extend the child tax credit so that we cut child poverty in America by over 50% when we do what we have done to invest the American people in bringing manufacturing back to the United States so that we created over 800,000 new manufacturing jobs bringing business back to America what we have done to improve the supply chain so we're not relying on foreign governments to supply American families with their basic needs I'll say that that's good work there's more to do when I got a $25,000 a hospital visit in March for an unexpected ER visit are you poor okay well then you don't have to pay oh what you do looks like yeah charity care there you go let me see if I could I saw a short on this recently that I wanted to show you I'm the founder of dollar four dollar four is a nonprofit We help people uh enforce Hospital charity care policies so we are eliminating medical debt by enforcing Hospital charity care policies at Dollar four a patient advocate is somebody that helps somebody okay this is definitely not it basically charity care uh is um you go should be a a a page on the hospital's website if you make less than like 300% of the federal poverty line you should be able to get your uh bills significantly reduced sometimes zero to zero as well but that's good work I want to get some clarity on where you stand on some key policy issues so I would look at that look for charity care with your hospital when you were in Congress you part of my job is doing greeings for charity care at other financial aid programs yeah the fact that you have to jump through hoops is the problem you're talking to me of course there's two ways to look at things of course the first way is to uh see the problems and complain about the problems and say how things should better and what a good policy is which is what I do every single day and then the second thing is okay now that we've said how much that the system sucks what can I do now to help a person in the real world with advice that might actually make them better off even if I know it's not going to fix the problem at its root I have a person in front of me who is suffering and I have knowledge they don't I'm going to tell them the strategies that I would pursue or an idea to look at to maybe give them some hope in their personal individual circumstance that's my job as a leftist my job as a leftist is to keep my eyes on the horizon for what the world should be while at the same time lending a hand to everybody around me who's journeying with me toward that Horizon I was I was Financial Planning and my advisor said to I need to account for 1 to 1.5 million for medical expenses when I retire I told him I'm not going to pay for my medical bills and everyone clapped well they'll sue you Chatters with Buddy if you have buddy you could ask negotiate for a reduced bill by offering to pay cash IM immediately sure but workarounds only get you so far for it and they eventually become chaotic well yeah no [ __ ] I would also you know Obamacare uh open enrollment is happening soon chat make sure you actually sign up and see if you're eligible for things like Medicaid programs like Medicaid or heavily subsidized plans I know health insurance is [ __ ] and a scam but at the same time you know we're getting older need to be able to go to the doctor reported the green New Deal and in 2019 you said quote there is no question I'm in favor of banning fracking fracking as you know is a pretty big issue particularly in your must-win state of Pennsylvania do you still want to ban fracking it's a pretty big issue and I made that clear on the debate stage in 2020 that I would not ban fracking as vice president I did not ban fracking as president I will not ban fracking in 2019 I believe uh in a town hall you said you were asked would you commit to implementing a federal ban on fracking on your first day in office and you said there's no question I'm in favor of banning fracking so yes so it changed in the in that campaign in 2020 I made very clear where I stand we are in 2024 and I've not changed that position nor will I going forward I kept my word and I will keep my word what made you change that position I kept my word well let's be clear my values have not changed I believe it is very important that we take seriously what we must do to guard against what is a clear crisis in terms of the climate and to do that we can do what we have accomplished thus far the inflation reduction act what we have done to invest by my calculation over 10 probably a trillion dollars over the next 10 years investing in a clean energy economy what we've already done creating over 300,000 new clean energy jobs that tells me from my experience as Vice President we can do it without Banning fracking in fact Dana Dana excuse me um I cast the tiebreaking vote that actually increased leases for fracking as vice president so I'm very clear about where I stand and was there some policy uh or scientific data that you saw that you said oh okay I get it now what I have seen is that we scientific data yeah you know what it turned out that uh climate change wasn't real uh um and we should just be doing as much drilling as possible we should be drill baby drilling oh wait there's absolutely no in fact the evidence is that it's even more important that we stop drilling immediately can we can grow and we can increase a thriving clean energy economy without Banning fracking okay doesn't me we could try like at a certain point like the ACC competence stops it's pretty INF funny release the full interview okay um another issue big one is immigration m as vice president you were tasked with addressing the root causes of migration uh in someone who likes the fracking if Done Right certain depths is fine yeah that's a good point that's a good point that's a good point that's a good point Secretary General calls latest ipcc climate report code red for Humanity stressing irrefutable evidence of human influence today's ipcc working group one report is code red for Humanity the alarm bells are deafening and the evidence is irrefutable greenhouse gas emissions from fossil fuel burning and deforestation are choking our planet and putting billions of people at immediate risk Global heating is affecting every region on Earth with many of the changes becoming irreversible the uh internationally agreed threshold of 1.5° C is parly close we are at imminent risk of hitting 1.5° C in the near term the only way to prevent exceeding this threshold is by urgently stepping up our efforts of pursuing the most ambitious path warming has accelerated in recent decades every fraction of a degree counts greenhouse gas concentrations are at record levels extreme weather and climate disasters are increasing in frequency and intensity this is why this year's United Nations climate conference in Glasgow is so important All Nations especially the G20 and other major emitters need to join the net zero emissions Coalition and reinforce their commitments with credible concrete and enhanced nationally determined contributions and policies before cop 26 in Glasgow without deep carpet pollution Cuts now the 1.5 degre degre C goal will fall quickly Out Of Reach this report must sound a death Nowell for coal and fossil fuels before they destroy our planet there must be no new coal plants built after 2021 oecd Organization for economic cooperation development countries must phase out existing coal by 2030 with all others following sup by 2040 countes should also end all new fossil fuel exploration and production and shift fossil fuel subsidies into renewable energy by 2030 solar and wind capacity should quadruple and renewable energy investment should triple to maintain a net zero trajectory by mid-century so in other words countries must phase out I'm sorry countries should also end all new fossil fuel exploration and production that was uh you know three years ago that's that means you've got to ban fracking so if you quote care about the environment you should probably uh realize that what she's doing is fatal and northern part of Central America the northern part of of of of Central America that deals with that affects the southern border of the US during the Biden Harris Administration there were record numbers of illegal border crossings why did the Biden Harris Administration wait three and a half years to implement sweeping Asylum restrictions well first of all uh the root causes work that I did as vice president that I was asked to do by the president has actually resulted in a number of benefits including historic Investments by American businesses in that region um the number of uh immigrants coming from that region has actually reduced um since we began that work but I will say um yeah it's true since we began that work but if you really first of all most of the people that have entered the United States are actually not Asylum Seekers e this that Joe Biden and I in our Administration worked with members of the United States Congress on an immigration uh issue that is very significant to the American people into our security which is the border and through bipartisan work including some of the most conservative members of the United States Congress a bill was crafted which we supported which I support and Donald Trump got word of this bill that would see this is this is how sometimes people talk about this stuff and you know I think people say like corporate media and they go you know the media just does what corporations want it to do but I think a better term for the mainstream media would be the incompetent lazy media um because this isn't even Pro corporate this is just low IQ this is just D like like danab bash is just a stupid person who's incompetent at her job right like I'm sure corporations would love bore Asylum Seekers that would be willing to work for lower wages right like so even for the position of like corporations this kind of immigration policy is it even really to their benefit so who is it benefiting well the re answer is it's just incompetence and stupidity because like a competent interviewer would be like okay when you were running against Donald Trump in 2020 you said that his immigration policies were inhumane and that building the wall was ineffective Governor walls you said that if somebody built the wall you would invest in a ladder Factory because it would be completely ineffective in stopping people from coming in but now you guys are saying you want to fund the wall you want to build the wall as well so were all those years where you say Donald Trump was a racist and he was inhumane were you was was that wrong were you wrong and they wouldn't have an answer for that which is why they're going to get owned if they ever debate I God I hope they don't debate like I legitimately like if Donald Trump debates her he's going to wipe the floor with her I don't know why Donald Trump is so much in his field I think it's because he knew he was going to beat Biden and now there's a chance he doesn't win so he's like really sad about that and how it's not fair and JD Vance is like a [ __ ] cringe Lord and has been was a was a loser pick so he you know he doesn't feel good about himself he's very emotional but as far as like a debate he'll out debate her easily so anyway what would a competent media person say so they would point that out the other thing is they would ask this question a according to the bill that you support there's a hard limit on Asylum Seekers that cuts off at I don't can't remember what it is I don't know if it's 10,000 or 5,000 a day or something like that so what you're saying is that if 5,000 people with legitimate Asylum claims are welcome into our country you would turn away everyone else with the legitimate Asylum claims and then you would say uh this is uh uh uh Victoria Manuel she was raped and her father was murdered by MS13 and she made it to the American she made it to the US border as uh uh in a desperate plea to escape with her young 15-year-old son who the MS13 threatened with death unless he joined the gang but 5,000 people have been admitted as Asylum Seekers before her so you would send her back to her rapists and have her child murdered that's the policy she supports see there but the thing is they'll never ask these liberals that because the entire point of being a liberal is not actually to be Humane it's to present as if you are Humane it's not to actually be Humane because you can't be a liberal and actually be Humane and it just so happen s that if somebody comes to America's border and goes to a border crossing and declares they they are here to request Asylum that is not an illegal immigrant that's a legal immigrant that's not an illegal immigrant so you are trying to ban legal Asylum Seekers contributed to securing our border and because he believes that it would not not have helped him politically he told his folks in Congress Don't Put It Forward he killed the bill a border security bill that would have put 1,500 more agents on the border and let me tell you something the border patrol endorsed the bill and I'm sure and I'm sure in large part because they knew they were working around the clock and 1,500 more agents would help them that bill would have allowed us to increase seizures of fenel ask any community in America that has been devastated by fentanyl what passing that bill would have done to address their concern and a pain that they've experience so you would push that legislation again I just want to not only push it I will make sure that it comes to my desk and I would sign it just one other question so she would pass a bill that's written by the Republicans vote for k Harris you get Donald Trump's immigration policy question about uh something that you said in 2019 when you first ran there was a debate you raised your hand when asked whether or not uh the Border should be decriminalized do you still believe that I believe there should be consequence we have laws that have to be followed and enforced that address and deal with people who cross our border illegally and there should be consequence and let's be clear in this race I'm the only person who has prosecuted transnational criminal organizations who trafficking guns drugs and human beings you know he was President right you know he like he was President right like he could point to a million cases that were successfully completed when he was president like this isn't even true like this is just factually wrong he was President of the United States I guarantee you the DEA and the FBI did all sorts of pro you know there were all sorts of criminal cases uh get like did they arrest Al Chapo and [ __ ] like what are you what is she even talking about I'm the only one what yes as a prosecutor yeah but he was President like this doesn't even make sense what the [ __ ] are you talking about I'm the only person in this race who actually served a border state as attorney general to enforce our laws and I would enforce our laws as president going forward I this is just pathetic this is just this is just pathetic like I don't even know who this is for I don't know who this is for if somebody is a a racist On the Border they're not going to be voting for KLA Harris like what are you even doing you know it' be one thing if she was saying this stuff and it was like good policy like it' be one thing if she was advocating for something that was good policy you know it wasn't it wasn't going to help her electorally but it was actually smart policy and that's what the data showed and that's what the evidence showed was a smart thing to do and you know it was Humane and she was out there and she was bravely arguing for it even though it was bad politics but she's doing something that's bad policy and bad politics actually pretty incredible recognize the problem generally speaking how should voters look at some of the changes that you've made uh that you explained some of here uh in your policy is it because you have more experience now and you've learned more about the information is it because you were running for president in a Democratic primary and should they feel comfortable and confident that what you're saying now is going to be your policy moving forward Dana I think the the the most important and most significant aspect of my policy perspective and decisions is my values have not changed you mentioned God I hope that's not true because your values are [ __ ] genocide in Gaza inhumane policies On the Border no healthc care reform so 60,000 Americans die every year from being underinsured or uninsured like what what are you actually going to accomplish in the green New Deal I have always belied is my values have not changed you mentioned the green New Deal I have always believed and I've worked on it that the climate crisis is real that it that's why I'm expanding fracking permits urgent matter to which we see this is the contradiction of being a Democrat is like you're supposed to be the catchall for everybody who's left of Atilla the Hun and your your policy your policy positions are contradictory and they don't make any sense like Democrats are just people that want to be uh immoral but perceived as moral that's that's what a liberal is it's very simple apply metrics that include holding ourselves to deadlines around time we did that with the inflation reduction act we have set goals for the United States of America and by extension the globe around when we should meet certain standards for reduction of greenhouse gas emissions as an example that value has not changed my value around what we need to do to secure our border that value has not changed I spent two terms as the Attorney General of California Prosecuting transnational criminal organizations violations of American laws regarding the passage illegal passage of guns drugs and human beings across our border my values have not changed so that is the reality of it and four years of being vice president I'll tell you one of the the the aspects to your point is traveling the country extensively I mean I'm here in Georgia I think somebody told me 17 times since I've been vice president in Georgia alone I believe it is important to build consensus and it is important to to to find a common place of understanding of where we can actually solve problems on that note you had a lot of Republican speakers at the convention will you appoint a Republican your cabinet yes I would anyone in I would no one no one in particular in mine I got a we got 68 days to go with this election so I'm not putting the cart before the horse but I would I think I think it's really I think that the Republican party is a fascist party that has enabled Donald Trump and is anti-democratic uh but I would definitely have them in my see if you vote for them you're voting for Fascism and the end of Democracy in America and that's why I can't wait to put them on my cabinet important I I have spent my career inviting do you see what I mean about the contradictions of this this doesn't even make sense has a republican ever been punished for not wanting Democrats saying Democrats are bad I mean it seems like they win elections all the time saying Democrats are bad there's a lot more people that vote Democrat than vote Republican in this nation like there's more Democrats than they're are Republicans so it seems to me that why are you [ __ ] cering to the minority diversity of opinion I think it's important to have people at the table when some of the most important decisions are being made that have different views different experiences and I think um it would be to the benefit of the American public to have a member of my cabinet who was a republican I want to ask you about your opponent Donald Trump um I was a little bit surprised people might be surprised to hear that you have never interacted with him met him face to face that's going to change soon but what I want to ask you about is what he said last month he suggested that you happened to turn black recently for political purposes questioning a core partk of your identity yeah any same old tired Playbook next question please that's it that's it okay um let's talk about some foreign policy uh issues that would be on your plate if you become commander-in-chief I mean I think the thing that really concerns me about the kamla Harris campaign is there isn't one there I can't even lie for them like I I think this is the big concern that I have with with with the Democratic party I can't even lie for them like I can't even like spin for them because they give you absolutely nothing I'm not going to spin for a child for a tax credit a means tested tax credit what the [ __ ] is this they can't even give me one thing to spin for they can't give me one thing that I can point out and go this is a good leftwing Center left policy that would make your lives better this is it they give you nothing not one thing to cope with not one thing if you care about public policy they don't give you a God damn thing not one not one President Biden has tried unsuccessfully uh to and the thing about me is and I and I've said this I've said this from the uh very very very very beginning that I am incredibly easy to please I know that if you're you know if you come to my stream and you you're like Wow Mike is a fire breather and he's passionate and he doesn't you know he doesn't uh he he he he's not a capitulating compromiser uh and all this other [ __ ] the answer is actually that's not correct I am incredibly easy to please I am willing to take incremental progress but here's the thing I'm not a liar and this is why they don't like me I'm not a [ __ ] liar I will tell you the truth and the truth is they've got nothing if if they had a whole bunch of like half a loaf policies like if they were out there going like okay we're going to do a public option and you know it's it's uncontable that so many American citizens don't have representation in Congress that's why we're going to vote for uh increasing Democracy in America it's Jerry mandering is a problem like if they were out there saying like you know we're going to make it easier we're going to pass uh we're going to repeal Taft heartley we're going to make unions like if they gave me something you know it's wrong that people can't afford Healthcare it's wrong that we have the insurance companies gouging people that's why we're going to pass a public option like this isn't socialism these are aerate center-left kinan policies nothing out of the ordinary nothing socialist they don't even give me that we have the policy agenda of George W bush except more conservative legitimately they're running to the of George W bush I know that this is this is something that people don't want to expect you know accept but it's reality it's reality confrontation with Iran genocide in Israel no public option I mean I I mean George W bush is to the left of this Democratic party it's actually shocking how bad they are she's too scared that trp will call her a communist they're calling her a communist already they're calling her comrade kamla the war between Israel and Hamas in Gaza he's been doing it for months and months along with you would you do anything differently for example would you withhold some Us weapons shipments to Israel that's what a lot of people on the Progressive left want you to do let me be very clear I'm unequivocal and and unwavering in my commitment to Israel's defense and its ability to defend itself and that's not going to change but let's take a step back October 7,200 people were massacred many young people who are I mean like I know that I do this every time but it's it's very important to say that that is not true okay 1 1200 people were not massacred there were civilians that were definitely murdered there were civilians that were definitely killed by Hamas In Cold Blood and it was not legitimate but not all 1200 people were massacred there were people who were killed there were military soldiers enforcing a blockade at checkpoints who were defeated in combat by Hamas there were police officers who rushed to contain the escapes from the concentration camp and they lost in combat there were military there were security guards at kutes that opened fire on habas who were killed in combat there were civilian reservists who took up arms and fought against the escaping uh occupied uh concentration camp victims and were killed in combat there were Israelis that were murdered by the IDF panicked response whether it be tanks firing into homes where uh hostages were being held whether it was the uh uh uh attack helicopters that fired into the Nova Festival there I mean that's it's it's just not true to say that they were all innocent people massacred it's just not true if you're a military member in uniform enforcing a [ __ ] block and the people you're blockading shoot you that is not a massacre that's called War that's called you did an act of War which is a blockade and the people that you did that act of war against defended themselves and killed your ass now I'm not saying it's good when people die I'm not saying yay yay IDF dead the only good IDF is a dead IDF I'm not saying that every single IDF Soldier should be under the boot of the resistance and that every single IDF Soldier should take a bullet like I'm not saying that I'm specifically not saying that okay however when an IDF Soldier loses a battle to a Hamas member toeo toe that's not a massacre the final death toll from the attack is now thought to be 695 Israeli civilians 36 children as as well as 373 security forces and 71 forers giving a total of 1,139 by the way all the civilians are not civilians I know this for a fact because on October 8th I was looking into it and there was a story of is there was like civilian man killed and I looked it up and there was eyewitness testimony of the guy fighting habas in combat I'm sorry but if uh you take up a gun and starts shooting at mil the military you're not a civilian anymore they can't say this with the handable directive oh yeah and the Hannibal directive we know for a fact that they shot at their own people to prevent them from being taken hostage simply attending a music festival women were horribly raped women were horribly raped who I'm not saying that sexual violence didn't occur here's the reality is that Hamas is not a standing military which means they don't have discipline even standing militaries have people that rape like there were many American soldiers that raped Afghan and Iraqi women and and girls and boys that happened we did Abu gra which was sexual torture we did that so yeah even standing militaries even our military does sexual violence so I don't deny the idea that a resistance force which even less disciplined would go out there and commit sexual violence that's without a doubt true and anybody who could be proved to have committed sexual violence should be prosecuted for it and put in prison for war crimes but the real raping that's going on now is being done by Israel it's on tape it's admitted it's been covered in Israeli media they're making rapist [ __ ] celebrities in Israel right now let's be real here as I said then I say today Israel had a right has a right to defend itself we would and how it does so matters so the indiscriminate bombing of 2 million people is is uh is defending yourself far too many I'm sure they I'm sure they have the rer D I'm sure they have those rules but what I'm saying is in war you are at a state of nature which means that people you know people are only accountable to what their milit AR superiors hold them accountable to and there isn't you know there have been a loss of civil control in a war so people commit things like sexual violence at a much higher rate during a war than they would in a peace time that's why part of why war is bad because it is a breakdown of social order innocent Palestinians have been killed innocent Palestinians have been intentionally killed by Israel in violation of international law and we've got to get a deal done we we were in Doha MH we have to get a deal done this war must end in the me and we must get a deal that is about getting the hostages out I've met with the families of the American hostages let's get the hostages out let's get the ceasefire done but no change in policy in terms of arms and and so forth no I we have to get a deal done D Dana we have to get a deal done when you look at the significance of this to the families to the people who are living in that region um it a deal is not only the right thing to do to end this war but will unlock so much of what must happen next I remained committed since I've been on October 8 to what we must do to work toward a two solution where Israel is secure and in equal measure the pal Palestinians have security and self-determination and and dignity Governor wals the uh country is just starting to get to know you I want to ask uh you a question about how you've described your I mean I I I could I could just say that that her response was just just I'm I'm I'm Joe Biden I'm Joe Biden that's all she said she said I'm Joe Biden and it seems to me very clear that whatever the administration policy is on Gaza is Harris's policy so if you don't like if you don't like you know Joe Biden over Gaza then you have to hate KLA Harris over Gaza and I've said this from the beginning I've said this from from the beginning I will not vote for you if the war in Gaza is still going on it is not going to happen you want my vote do you want my support if you want my vot if you want my support then you must end this war in Gaza period the genocide in Gaza I don't even like calling it a war cuz it's not a war a war is between countries what countries are involved there's only one country it is Israel killing its own people now a lot of people are going to be offended by me saying that but that's the reality the Gaza Strip and the West Bank are Israeli control they're under the Israeli State they don't even give these bount stands legitimacy at all they're responsible for everything they have total control of their their foreign policy over trade over the movement of the population over the issuance of things like government ID cards these are populations of Israel that are second class citizens there already is one state from The River To The Sea it's called Israel we are living in the one state disaster and for a black American to look at what's going on in Israel and endorse the Jim Crow it really makes you feel bad it really is pathetic it really is disgusting there is no there is no level of depravity in which these people will not descend why what do you say to people who think you guys disgusting if you should vote for the devs if the war of Gaza stops not be while these are criminals we shouldn't be discussing if we vote we should be trying to get them all to the heg I think one of the things that happens with people is um when they come to leftism from a moralist point of view they're not very good at being leftists and those are the people who become burned out those are the people that end up taking the grill pill those are the people who end up becoming apathetic and falling off because the reason while you're why you're a leftist is because you analy ize Things based on your own personal moral code which I regret to inform you isn't a very Firm Foundation I don't look at these things from the point of view of a moral code I will use moral arguments and I have a morality and a moral system but I analyze these things from the point of view of a materialist perspective you're talking about taking K Harris to the heg and the reason why I don't talk about that is because it's make belief it goes without saying that she's a war criminal it goes without saying that she's guilty of every crime that you could possibly imagine it goes without saying that KLA Harris is evil but it's it's you know you're talking about a juvenile perspective which is the United States of America has the largest military in the world it has nukes it has uh multiple Special Operations and and Black Ops uh organizations it has Universal Global surveillance they have penetrated every single device you have with the NSA NSA back doors at every single chat app and phone they read every single one of your emails they look at your [ __ ] nudes that you take with your picture you know when you take a photo you take a dick pick to send your girlfriend or wife or you you to take a little spicy selfie you know that the NSA looks at that right NSA frequently takes people's selfies and their nudes and share them it's a verified fact so would you're talking about is an overturning of the entire hegemonic structure of our world where the United States is the hyperpower that has full spectrum dominance why do you think we're fighting a war in Ukraine that's on Russia's border why do you think we're trying we're ping weapons into Taiwan that is 60 miles off the coast actually there is a Taiwanese Island that is 3 mil off the coast of the mainland China that is the hyper power that is the reality this is the global dominant Empire everything that goes on in this world is due to the will of the United States whether it's some poor liberal uh Egyptian being tortured in a dungeon and CC's secret police America endorsed it when it's the prime minister of Pakistan is arrested by a military coup the United States endorsed it a genocide going on in Congo the United States endorsed it that is the reality and as I wrote last night the neocons won the neocons have completely taken over foreign policy in the Democrat party that's the reality the Democratic party is the party of Empire The Good Neighbor policy of FDR people don't even know what that is we have the Truman Doctrine and the bush Corollary something like the good neighbor like when people people don't know what FDR was like I think a lot of people um especially on the left don't really know what FDR how different FDR was from every other president of the United States and it's really it's really it's really uh kind of disgusting to think that nothing not one of those policies that FD had would be implemented by this Democratic party this is the democ this is the party of Reagan if you don't know this is what I I want to see a Good Neighbor policy for the 21st century President Franklin Delano Roosevelt took office on determined to improve relations with the nations of Central and South America under his leadership in the United States emphasized cooperation and trade rather than military force to maintain stability in the hemisphere in this field of world policy I would dedicate this nation to the policy of the Good Neighbor the neighbor who resolutely respects himself and because he does so respects the rights of others Roosevelt Secretary of State Cordell Hull participated in the Mont Vito Conference of December 1933 where he backed a declaration favored by most ations of the Western Hemisphere no state has the right to intervene in the internal or external Affairs of another in December Roosevelt stated the def def uh definitive policy of the United States from now on is one opposed to Armed intervention in 1934 at Roosevelt's Direction the 1903 treaty with Cuba based on the plat amendment that gave the United States the right to intervene to preserve internal stability or Independence was abrogated meaning we Roosevelt said we won't interfere with Cuba's Internal Affairs anymore although domestic economic problems in World War II diverted attention from the Western Hemisphere Roosevelt's Good Neighbor policy represented an attempt to distance the United States from earlier interventionist policies such as the Roosevelt Cory and Military interventions in the region during the tens and 20s the Roosevelt corer is to the Monroe Doctrine and it's the Teddy Roosevelt Corollary not the r well not the Franklin Roosevelt Corollary it basically says the United States is the Imperial power of the Western Hemisphere so we did the Good Neighbor policy and after there was a coup at the 1944 Democratic Convention to install Harry Truman as Roosevelt's vice presidency just as he was suffering from extreme high blood pressure and his Health was very clearly failing everybody knew that Roosevelt was going to die and so they did the right-wing of the democratic party did a coup at the convention to replace Roosevelt's vice president Harry Wallace or excuse me uh uh yeah I think it's uh yeah Henry Wallace sorry Henry Wallace not Harry uh with uh uh Harry Truman and what did what did Truman do he did the Truman Doctrine which was the exact opposite of the Good Neighbor policy the Truman Doctrine is American foreign policy that we have the right to intervene the Truman Doctrine arose from a speech delivered by President Truman before a joint session of Congress March 12th 1947 the immediate cause for the speech was a recent anomis by the British government as of March 31st it would no longer provide military and economic assistence to the Greek government in at civil war against the Greek Communist party now this Greek government chat was the fascist collaborators with the Nazis the US government and the British were supporting the Nazis in Greece Truman asked Congress to support the Greek government against the Communists he also asked Congress to provide assistance for turkey since that T Nation 2 had previously been dependent on British Aid established that the United States would provide political military and economic assistance to all democratic nations under threat from external or internal authoritarian forces in other words this is [ __ ] by the way this is just the doctrine of the United States will intervene in other countries to make them Pro us it has nothing to do with Democratic it has to do with we will intervene in countries to make sure that the uh leaders of that country are subservient to the United States that's all it doesn't this whole Democratic thing is [ __ ] we don't care about that so we went from The Good Neighbor policy to the Truman Doctrine and this has been the Democratic party's policies since 47 which is interfere with other countries to force them under the heel of the United States and you know KLA Harris is just a uation of that fascist Legacy in the National Guard you said that you carried weapons in War but you have never deployed actually in a war zone a campaign official said that you misspoke did you well first of all I'm incredibly proud I've done 24 years of wearing the uniform of this country equally proud of my service in a public school classroom whether it's Congress or uh or the governor uh my record speaks for itself but I think uh people are coming yet to know me I I speak like they do um I speak candidly I wear my emotions on my sleeves and uh I speak especially passionately about uh about our children being shot in schools and around around guns so uh I think people know me they know who I am they know where uh where my heart is and again my record has been out there for in school what I learned about foreign policy it went from the Roosevelt corlar to the Truman Doctrine and never covered the Good Neighbor policy why would you learn history in American schools 40 years to to speak for itself and the the idea that you said that you were in war did you missp speak as the campaign has said yeah I said we were talking about in this case this was after school shooting the ideas of carrying these weapons of war and uh my wife the English you told my grammar is not always correct but again if it's not this it's an attack on my children for showing love for me or it's an attack on my dog uh I'm not going to do that and the one thing I'll never do is I'll never demean another member's service in any way I never have uh and I never will I just one other question because again this is all new yeah I mean this was not however many days ago this was not uh either of your bingo cards Especially Yours um you had to clarify uh that you had said that you and your wife used I so by the way this is just this is just like you know some of the most pathetic [ __ ] I've ever heard in my life this is like trying to parse every single word somebody has said over their entire political career to find any way of of looking at it in bad faith to pretend they're dishonest so he's he has carried weapons of war he was in the [ __ ] Army he was an artillery NCO he trade and carried weapons of war and the United States has been in an Hot War since 2001 okay that's the reality and he served at the guard after 2001 deal with it the second thing is he didn't get IVF he got like what was it like the interuterine insemination it's I UI instead of IVF you got IUI it's this a very similar procedure in IVF you take eggs and you fertilize them in an uh in vitro in IUI you take sperm and you uh eject it deep into the uterus all right so like it's it's a very similar [ __ ] procedure you end up injecting deep into the uterus whether you're injecting a fertilized embryo a zygote or you're injecting a sperm it's it's a it's a fertility procedure that's pretty much looks identical as far as like physically receiving it but like this is like it's the same Continuum it is fertility care he cares about IVF because he and his family use fertility care to conceive their children so he will protect fertility care even if it's a slightly different procedure than he had oh my God you didn't get IVF you got I UI you liar like what are you talking about what the [ __ ] are you talking about this is a ridiculous question this is a stupid [ __ ] question and I don't even want to defend these people but Jesus Christ this is the media we getf but it turned out you used a different kind of fertility in order to have children and then when you ran for congress in 2006 your campaign repeatedly made false statements about a 1995 arrest for drunk and reckless driving what do you say to voters who aren't sure whether they can take you at your word I mean that's just one of the most ridiculous things I've ever seen like that is just a smear of smears like it's just absurd wow I got a I made a mistake 30 years ago I got a DUI and uh I learned my lesson you know I'm sure there's a lot you know it's very important that we uh don't drunk drive like who gives a [ __ ] like what is this honestly this will make his support go up in Pennsylvania well I've been very public I think they can see uh my students come out uh former folks I've served with and and they do they vouch for me I certainly own my mistakes when I make them the one thing I'll tell you is of um I wished in this country we wouldn't have to do this I spoke about our infertility issues because it's hell and families know this and I I spoke about the treatments that were available to us that that had those beautiful children there um that's quite a contrast in folks that are trying to uh to take those rights away from us and so uh I uh I think people know who I am they know that record they've seen that I've taught thousands of students I've been out there and um I I won't apologize for piing passionately whether it's guns in schools or protecting of Reproductive Rights uh the contrast could not be clear between what we're running against the vice president's position on this has been clear and um I think most Americans get it if you've been through that um I don't think they're cutting hairs on IVF or IUI I think they're cutting hairs on is an abortion ban and the ability to be able to deny families the chance to have a beautiful child I mean I don't think he did a very good job I don't think he did a good job in answering that question to be honest I mean I think he got there but it was pretty it was not great I would have been like you need to go on offense you were way too you were way too like shrined President Harris you were a very staunch defender of President Biden's capacity to serve another four years right after the debate you insisted that President Biden is extraordinarily strong given where we are now do you have any regrets about what you told the American people no not at all not at all I have um served with President Biden um for almost four years now and I'll tell you it's one of the greatest honors of my career truly um he cares so deeply about the American people he is so smart and um and loyal to the American people and I have spent hours upon hours with him be it in the Oval Office or The Situation Room he has the intelligence the commitment and the Judgment um and disposition that I think the American people rightly deserve in their president by contrast to the former president has none of that and so um one I I I am so proud to have served as vice president to Joe Biden and two I am so proud to be running with Tim Walls for president of the United States and to bring America what I believe the American people deserve which is a new way forward and turn the page on the last decade of what I believe has been um contrary to where the spirit of our country really lies but the last decade of course the last three and a half years has been part of your Administration I'm talking about an era that started about a decade ago where there is some suggestion warped I believe it to be that the measure of the strength of a leader is based on who you beat down instead of where I believe most Americans are which is to believe that the true measure of the strength of a leader is based on who you lift up that's what's at stake as much as any other detail that we could discuss in this election um because we haven't had a chance to to talk I'm just curious staying on President Biden when he called you and said he was pulling out of the race what was that like and did he offer to endorse you right away or did you ask for it it was um it was a Sunday so here I'll I'll give you a little too much information go for it there's no such thing Adam vice president um my family was staying with us and um including my baby nieces and we had just had pancakes and you know Auntie can I have more bacon yes I'll make you more bacon and then we were s we were sitting down to to do a puzzle and the phone rang in I thought we were working around the clock for a ceasefire I guess we were I I guess we were not working around the we have some time for some puzzles you know we got to rest play some puzzles you know get some pancakes and um and he told me what he when you're making when you're making a bacon for your nieces do you ever think about all the children that look just like them that are being murdered in Gaza and are starving to death or have polio do you ever does it ever Flash in your mind pictures of mutilated children that from the bombs that you're sending does that ever happen and um I asked him are you sure and he said yes and um wow thank you for telling us you asked him are you sure such an Insight my I'm tearing up but that's how I learned about it and what about the endorsement did you ask for it and he was very clear that he was going to support me so when he called to tell you he said I'm pulling out of the race and I'm going to support you well my first thought was not about me to be honest with you my first thought was about him to be honest um performative empathy I think I think history is going to show a number of things about Joe Biden's presidency I think history is going to show that in so many ways it was transformative be it on what we have accomplished around finally investing in America's infrastructure investing in new economies in new Industries what we have done to bring our allies back together and have confidence in who we are as America and grow that Alliance what we have have done to stand true to our principles um NATO Oh yay we grew it we got the war the war power of Finland which by the way the purpose of adding Finland in the NATO is to do what install install more listening posts and you know like including Europe hasn't been this United since World War II when the Nazis took France the the one of the most important International rules and Norms which is the importance of sovereignty and territorial integrity and I think yeah that's why you support Israel which is currently occupying uh territory from uh uh Syria and the golon heights which is now illegally annexing territory in the West Bank and is threatening more uh settlements in Gaza you really care about integrity think history is going to show not only has Joe Biden LED an Administration that has achieved those extraordinary successes but the character of the man is one that he has been in his life and career including as a president quite selfless and puts the American people first I just have to ask you both about two standout moments aside of course from the addresses that you both gave but standout moments that were were perhaps unexpected during the convention you mentioned one of them Governor uh a moment that you shared that the world shared with your son Gus you were speaking the camera caught him so incredibly proud of you so emotional saying that's my dad yeah I uh we're also joined by imagined that I I mean like honestly like I don't know how to say this so I'm just going to come out and say it like at the time it was a heartwarming moment and you know uh in the context of the convention you know it really made you uh feel for you know the family and and made you see like it was it's good to see how much his family seems to love their father and and that's very relatable but um like if you're still talking about it I think you have the me the brain of a [ __ ] child and and you shouldn't be able to vote I I would take away your right to vote if I had the power uh and I it should never be returned because you so mentally stunted and immature and a baby that um you shouldn't be able to vote like this is like you need to be on a Britney Spears level like conservatorship except never getting out out of it like what this is like to call this is an embarrassment and waste of time is like minimal shut the [ __ ] up grateful for so many reasons to be on this ticket but that moment um to understand what was really important to to have my something I learned back when I was during my time in sales was you shouldn't say to be honest because it says message you weren't always Hest when you speak she clearly hasn't learn that lesson because she loves saying that before she answers some of the tougher questions tells you a lot about her yeah pathetic pathetic pathetic well it's a word it's an air filler it's it you know it's giving you time to think that's why you say phrases like that my son uh feel a sense of pride in me that I was trying to do the right thing and die this is just parasocial trash and I look down on anybody who likes it it was um you you try and protect your kids you know get brings it brings notoriety in things but it was just such a uh a visceral emotional moment that I'm I'm just I'm grateful I got to experience it and I'm uh I'm so proud of him I'm proud of him I'm proud of hope I'm proud of Gwen she's a wonderful mother and these are great kids and I think the one thing is talking about the era we're in is our politics can be better it can be different we can we can show some of these things and we can have families involved in this and I I hope that there was uh I hope people felt that out there and I hope they hugged their kids a little tighter because you just never know and life can be kind of hard and last question uh Madam vice president the photograph that has gone viral you were speaking one of your grand nieces that you were just talking about was watching you accept the nomination another Paris like you have the pre you have this candidate who has never done any interviews and you have two backtack questions for babies but the here's the thing there the reason why CNN is doing this is because unfortunately this is what gets you because you know most people who vote Democrat are like babies they're babies and they're like I like K she's my friend you didn't explicitly talk about gender or race in your speech but it obviously means a lot to a lot of people and that Viral picture really say race and gender means a lot to a lot of people in that Viral picture she even like prepare questions for this interview like what does it mean to you what does it mean to you that there's a photo of your niece looking at you do a speech that's the question she was just asked do you guys get embarrassed for caring about politics like I do like this is this is just embarrassing that I'm even watching this I'd rather just go back to bed this is a joke this I mean like sick of fantic waste of [ __ ] time you know I listen I am running because I believe that I am the best person to do this job at this moment um for all Americans regardless of race and gender um but I did see that photograph and I was deeply touched by it and you're right she's it's the back of her head her two little braids and um I'm going to describe the photo now and then I'm in the front of the photograph obviously speaking and um it's very humbling it's very humbling very humbling did she talk what I think if you like this you should be lobotomized oh she had a lot to talk about she had a lot she listened to everything and she listens to everything give you your hot cake oh yeah definitely Madam God wish she was running for president governor walls thank you so much for your time appreciate it for thank you Dan thank you dog [ __ ] absolute dog [ __ ] Harris cr's first interview these [ __ ] siop fants crushes what was crushed there wasn't one an I I don't even I honest to God the only thing that got out of that is she's going to keep doing the genocide other than that and she wants to pass Trump's immigration bills we got we got less than nothing that was [ __ ] terrible he let's take a look at what Ken klippenstein wrote four questions for kabala Harris Harris's first interview goes live tonight here's what to watch for I gain a brief amount of hopium because I felt hype for the walls pick that gave the Minnesota governor was going to help string the progressive policy Nationwide now I'm feeling like learning Mandarin she's just a Biden reskin like it's it's it's not that she's just it's that the Democratic party this is something that I said to Sam Cedar you guys remember when I debated Sam Cedar about the Biden uh admin incoming Biden admin or the Biden campaign and how I said that like I'm becoming Bernie or bust because of the people that and the things that he was saying and how it was going to set back the Progressive Movement for a decade because of of exactly how the Democratic party has got to twist to far to the right this is the this is the consequences of Biden winning this is the consequences of Biden winning now if Biden had lost to trump it would have been bad it really would have been bad you know um but does Mandela Barnes lose in the Senate the Democrats control the house in the Senate right now are we going into 200 are we going into 2024 with the house of the Senate uh a huge exhaustion and backlash against Trump and Progressive open you know primary probably would we be better off today if Trump had won I think it's an open question I think the Biden Administration has been so unsuccessful and so unpopular and has pushed the Democratic party so far to the right I'm not even sure that him winning was actually even decent didn't really accomplish much and has probably set us back what's the difference between Harris and Biden New Look save taste doesn't work so well in politics well actually that's exactly what it is Harris in particular has to say something about foreign policy if she wants to keep hold of young voters in the American left she didn't Healthcare I just want to inra stress how insane it is that neither major candidate really said anything about Healthcare in their convention speeches the US spends more on Healthcare than any other country but as the worst Health outcomes of any other high income country studies show that many Americans must spend roughly the equivalent of a rent on healthcare plans and everyone has to constantly fight with insurance companies to get coverage is a national humiliation she said nothing about Healthcare the Middle East from the spiraling Israel habas Ward nearly three-year-old Ward the B Administration been marked by conflicts that never seemed to end the ones where the US involvement seems to be doing little other than sustaining the capacity to fight the Gaza war will sue enter its second year with not with no ended sight but with alarming sze of the war has spread to the rest of the region just last month hamas's political leader ismali Hane was assassinated by Iran's Capital during its presidential inauguration we still assessed that the conflict between Israel and Hamas is contained to Gaza well Israel has since invaded the West Bank the war in Ukraine is approaching its third year and with ke's incursion into Russian territory early this month its most dangerous phase there's also very little also what's going on with this incursion there seems to be very much being said about this incursion anymore I mean I know an F-16 crashed so as I said before the f-16's not really making much of a difference and they've already lost one uh oh well I guess what's the next wonder weapon that's going to change it is it a V2 oh I'm sorry Chad sorry whatever you think of that isn't this something the American public should know by policy sensitive activities are concealed not only for the public but a bunch of Congress for Regions that include avoiding significant embarrassment to the United States or its allies that's a pretty good metaphor for why the US government doesn't like talking about the Ukraine war in general because there is not only no end in sight there's not even a strategy to try to end the war Washington's blank check support for the war is embarrassing especially when it has no diplomatic plan of any sort Trump blusters about ending the war on day would but all Harris says is that she will Str strong with NATO whatever that means vice president Harris assed on cabinet and National Security Council meetings for almost four years doesn't she have any insights or opinion about the war and again what about walls questions will obviously be asked about Gaza Iran Iraq and even China nope whether walls will be willing to meul say anything it will be an interesting test of the Minnesota govern's image as a PL spoken populace it also be a test well they failed sorry Ken it's so pathetic I wanted to show you this video chat from CNN because it made me laugh it made me laugh so [ __ ] hard it was actually hold on when I saw it I just let out a cackle oh I guess I have to I guess I didn't I guess I closed it representative Veronica well we have breaking news a source tells CNN that a top Ukrainian pilot has been killed while flying a us- made F-16 fighter jet it was one of the first f-16s delivered to Ukraine after its president pleaded with the West for the military aid CN Nick pton Walsh joins us now Nick what more do we know about the crash and and kind of the broader implications Stow to the face we know about the crash now we're being told by Ukrainian defense official this occurred during uh the F-16 and its pilot alexe Mess by the call sign MoonFish were repelling one of the largest Russian assaults on Ukraine that we've seen in the past years frankly that occurred earlier on this week over 400 projectiles fired this week at Ukraine a sort of moscow's Retribution for its losses On the Border the F-16 involved this defense official says in repelling that attack and heard from Ukraine's President Vladimir zalinski he said somewhat cryptically that f-16s had been used to try and stem some of the missile attacks earlier this week the defense official refers to a crash and so there will be discussion as to exactly whether this was a technical problem caused by a rle in combat or the plane shot out of the sky as it flew over Ukraine but remember this is one of six that have arrived in Ukraine already the pilots perhaps trained at such a compressed rate maybe even more a valuable resource potentially than the Jets themselves 80 of which have been promised by European allies to Ukraine the Biden administration had to sign off on this because these planes are us made and it could potentially when they arrive in Mass be a bit of a game changer for you basically like uh the idea is all these old f16s that are at the end of their service life are being given to Ukraine by European allies and then America has promised to buy them new Jets so basically this is a way for European countries to upgrade their Air Forces without having to pay for it you're paying for it and the ukrainians get f16s which you know are uh uh one of the mo probably the most overrated aircraft in world history Ukraine who suffered from a lack of their superiority for the past years they have limited Jets and helicopters but it's the Russians who have enough Jets to bomb Ukrainian positions at will that's been a huge problem for Ukrainian forces across the front line the f-16s may have been able to change that but here we have a piece of news which I think uh military analysts will say is not entirely surprising if you put pilots in a compressed training regimen into some of the most complex combat scenarios seen over Europe for decades and then of course rush into the field as well these F-16 jets with a a maintenance regime that must be so complex given the environment thank you so much for this analysis functioning in so thank you for absolutely nothing except this aircraft crashed and killed the pilot moment certainly for Ukraine the F16 in combat defending its Skies but now enduring a loss as well there will be questions as to what this means the technical viability going forwards but it is a a startling moment and I think the loss of this pilot known as MoonFish Alexi mes felt keenly by many ukrainians very experienced man chosen for this particular role he went to the US to advocate for the F-16 being delivered uh and now meeting his death it seems uh while defending Ukraine Phil Yeah you mentioned the moment that moment's also coming in the backdrop of another round of Russian air attacks overnight Ukrainian officials calling them massive what more do we know yeah look uh 60 drones shot down two missiles shot down but three missiles got through and another 19 uh sorry my mouth is terrible another 16 drones seem to have got through as well these appear to be targeting energy infrastructure for the most part we seen it since Monday 400 plus aerial projectiles Russia's retaliation really many are seeing this for the humiliation they're enduring from Ukraine's surprise incursion into the KK region On the Border areas and it seems too potentially in the last 24 hours into the Bel local Russian officials are asking for evacuations zilinski clearly uh Ukraine's president throwing everything he can In This Moment into the fight asking the Biden Administration and Donald Trump andal candidates and serving presidents to approve the use of us supplied longer range weapons to hit a specific list of targets inside Russia as well as already using longer range Ukrainian drones and missiles to hit oil depos you're seeing there uh ammo supplies uh even potentially airfields as far north as the Arctic Circle there was a Alert in aviation last week so so much moving here and I think many analysts are seeing this is Ukraine urgently trying to change the dynamic on the battlefield ahead of a winter where they might find themselves pushed into a negotiating stance Maybe by a changing US president Phil Nick pton Walsh as always thanks so much new this morning Ukraine says its air defenses have destroyed more than a dozen Russian drones flying toward the capital of Kei one Ukrainian official described the overnight attack as quote massive leaving several buildings damaged and says it's the third aerial raid on the city just this week now we're learning also that Ukraine wants to expand its list of targets on Russian soil a Russian lawmaker tells CNN that two top officials will brief the Biden White House this week in face-to-face meetings they're going to ask for the US to lift restrictions on the use of long- range American weapons inside Russia cenn or liberman is live for us at the Pentagon Orin what more do we know about what these meetings are going to entail Phil the the push to use Us weapons to hit targets longer range deeper in Russia has been a very public and private campaign in the part of UK okay so now they've got the f-16s they've got the Abrams Tanks they've got the artillery shells they got the1 billion now it's oh we need to be able to attack deep into Russia that's the ne I guess that's the next lie that's got to be the thing that turns here's the reality this is just got posted as I was talking Russian advances Pro public criticism of Ukraine's curs push with Russian forces close to pisk there are fears that the East has been left exposed as KV bombing leaves heavy casualties Russia has continued to make rapid advances in eastern Ukraine toward the key city of uh pakos I don't say I don't know how you say this so we're g to we're g to pronunciation we're GNA we're going to do this pronouncenames.com P pakro that was pretty close Okay sparing public criticism of the Ukrainian military leadership and raising questions about Vladimir zelinski's decision to launch a old incursion into the Russian K region for months Russian forces have been attempting to see pakk a strategically important mining town with a pre-war population of about 60,000 but their advances gay considerable momentum in recent weeks not only that it's also a uh Railway Hub it's a railway hub for the entire detet and Lans regions so like basically Ally Ukrainian forces that are all along the front line will probably have to withdraw because their logistic train will be broken deep State a Ukrainian group close to Ukraine's defense Ministry that tracks Frontline activities reported that Russian forces on Friday were less than six miles from the outskirt skirts of pgsk where local officials have ordered a mass evacuation Russian PR War military bloggers reported on Friday that forces had entered the city of selid as Vladimir Putin's troops Advance Vladimir Putin's troops can you imagine them saying that about about American Military like invading Iraq as George Bush's troops Advance like what is this come on Russia also shelled a residential building and a children's playground in KV killing at least five people including a child and leaving 40 people injured according to the city's mayor as you can see these are the Russian advances they're advancing all along the front line videos circulating on social media showed Flames pouring out of the high-rise building okay the Glide bomb located at the intersection of several key roads hug rofs facilitates the supply of Ukrainian forces across a broad broad front line and its loss could open the way for further Russian advantages in the denes region that's what I just said so thank you uh Guardian for immediately showing that I know what I'm talking about it makes me look smart uh the situation is very bad it has deteriorated quickly said a commander whose troops are stationed there pet speaking of the condition of anonymity I will tell if we have set those troops to Cur instead of defending the East but for now we are suffering keeves surprise incursion into Russ so so when this happened I called it the uh Ukrainian Battle of the Bulge now if you if you know about you know that's one of the most famous uh uh events that happened in World War II but basically Hitler ordered his uh military to take all the reserves and try to attack the uh British and American forces in the Western Front to throw them back into you know back into the channel and uh American for and after initial successes because it wasn't expected uh the the Bulge that's why it's called the Bulge it was a bulge in the lines was contained and the Germans were thrown back but they had lost a bunch of Tanks fuel train troops and equipment and it it it basically severely weakened the German ability to defend themselves and probably created a situation where uh the German military position was even more untenable it probably hastened the income of out the end of the war because Germans Germany ran out of supplies it burned up its reserves so this attack it strikes me to be uh it strikes me at a very similar sense the curse uh uh incursion by Ukraine seems very similar to the Battle of the Bulge to me where it's just like using up all these reserves and trying to get some sort of like positive outcome because you're just losing and you think if you attack in an unexpected Direction you know maybe something magical will happen I don't I don't really I don't even think it was really thought of that logically you know and if you notice how this is being analyzed you could all call it kks too it was also a salate attemp by the Nazi Germany and a so-called last offensive on the Eastern front by Germany yeah this is this is this strikes me as very similar very similar kees uh yeah yeah provided a welcome boost to morale at home and raised hopes this is how you know it's stupid this is how you know it's dumb as [ __ ] compare the two sides of the war this is this is I I'm going to analyze it like a mature adult and not a baby okay look at the two sides of the in in the Eastern Front Russia is closing in on a strategically important city that controls the supply roads and railroads for the entire Eastern front of the war in the Ukrainian side they're hoping to do a boost in morale and raising hopes which side do you want to be on do you want to be on the side that is Raising hopes and getting a boost at home or do you want to be on the side that's about to see a key City that the gutsy attack gutsy like what is this what is this what like this is why we're going to lose to China by the way and why the human race has a shot you know because uh the West is full of babies gutsy might prompt Moscow to redeploy its troops away from Eastern Front you know what a different descriptor you could put ill illogical irrational irresponsible ill-considered wasteful gutsy but more than 3 weeks into the operation Ukraine's military has admitted that Russia has not committed its forces to Eastern Ukraine to recapture its own territory while ke's progress in the cursed region has significantly slowed down in other words Ukraine killed a bunch of like low-level conscripts and Border guards with a surprise attack toward something that wasn't even that significant and has been stopped Ukraine continues to hold a chunk of Russian territory and insumi uh Ukrainian City closest to the operation signs of incursion are everywhere with increased military pressence in the city and frequent sightings of military hardware heading toward Russia a popular Ukraine compensator an officer of the Army's reserves who goes by the handle uh tatag grami said the breach of the front line in the Dono region was worsened by the Kirk offensive which he said diverted experienced and motivated brigades stripping stabilization reserves and allowing Russian forces to advance rapidly why would you call it go oh my God like what is this why is what why is everybody a baby why is everybody a [ __ ] baby why is everybody a baby why are why is everybody a [ __ ] child that's all I was struck like covering news today Chad it just felt like there are no adults there are no [ __ ] adults it is like you know kive Stan culture and children like the the the Democrats are a joke he also accused the Ukrainian military leadership of underplaying the gravity of the situation unfortunately the high command is still receiving reports about The controlled situation is far from being controlled lies lies lies he tweeted zalinski this week rejected charges that they redeploy of experien troops to Kur had weakened Ukraine's position at poet during a press conference he described the situation poet as extremely difficult but argued the incursion had actually slowed Russian advances toward the city however open- Source data along with military analysts close to the Ukrainian military of pro-russian bloggers paints a different picture showing a deteriorating front line since 6 August when Ukrainian forces first entered K even before Ukraine decided to send troops to KK the country had been on the back foot on the East for months grappling with delayed Western aid while forces remained outnumbered and exhausted which is the more important point this Wester a [ __ ] is you know you got the 100 billion and nothing changed sub Ukrainian soldiers have stated that the curse of incursion was not to blame for the collaps of the front lines instead they attribute the difficulties to troop exhaustion some soldiers have been engaged in combat since the start of the invasion more than two years ago at the moment it looks like our front in the dawn boss has collapsed said Roman uh pamarco a brigade officer at the revered azof Brigade The Reed azof Brigade you know five years ago the guardian was calling them the Nazi oof Brigade but now I guess they're the revered aof Brigade the defense of the Ukrainian Armed Forces is disorganized the troops are tired weakened and many units are demoralized and it's not because of the Ukrainian Armed Forces operation in K Ukraine has since managed to partially replenish his forces through strict new government conscription laws that have lowered the draft age from 27 to 25 I saw that um uh what's his face Blockhead the Neanderthal guy he left Ukraine I guess he's dodging the draft the blockhead I can't remember his name Dylan Burns there you go uh I guess I saw that he I saw that he left Ukraine and was posting uh drama bait for Hassan I guess I guess the uh I guess the Ukraine war isn't too exciting anymore the views are dropping off got to get I guess rents do got to do a drama bait video with Hassan [ __ ] loser however the newly mobilized Iz troops are apparently being sent to the front lines with limited training when we W when we listen to coverage of Ukraine of the war in Ukraine on CNN does it sound like this replenishment received is mostly unade and does not help instead it complicates the C combat operations of the units in an interview last week with the Associated Press a battalion commander in Ukraine's 47th Brigade for some reason maybe I'm just bullshitting but I feel like this is another Nazi Brigade e man this this brigade likes to lose a lot of battles this is like four or five uh maybe may this maybe this is just a nor maybe I'm misremembering uh I think it was cuz they were working with the azof Battalion in that Diva or they were getting defeated a lot anyway he's said some of the newly mobilized soldiers don't want to shoot they see the enemy in the firing position in trenches but don't open fire that is why our men are dying holy [ __ ] dude Ukraine's morale took a further hit with the news of the crash of the first Western Supply F6 fighter jet resulted in the death of well-known pilot oleski mess noted by the call sign moonfish one Ukrainian lawmaker claimed the jet was downed by Friendly Fire stretching from Ukrainian President Vladimir zalinski and on down it'll be Andre ymac the head of the office claiming the ukrainians that are coming in are gunshy31 off which is a lot of people to be honest deeper inside of Russia this is what I've always said about bad and panata bad and panata and I disagree on some things mostly uh I disagree when uh he pops off on like uh American uh uh left Wingers without having the full context the only time I agree with him is when he makes I agree with him on pretty much most of his analysis uh but like Hassan has not done the things that badada has been kind of been given the impression that he's done that's just reality so I don't know what else to say eat a green light from the White House to be able to do that and that's their goal here so far the Biden Administration hasn't changed its position in fact Us weapons can only be used inside of Russia in a very small area north of Ukraine inside of Russia and they have used those weapons to that effect the kers offensive has been carried out effectively within that uh restriction from the US but they say they need to be able to Target military assets and high value targets deeper inside of Russia to change the course of the war President Vladimir zalinsky talked about what's the course that it's on now yesterday hey what's the course that it's on now we continue to insist that their determination now lifting the restrictions on long range strikes for Ukraine now will help us to end the war as soon as possible in Fair Way for Ukraine and the world as a whole Ukraine has used its medium range uh assets its medium- range weapons to Target and Carry Out crossb attacks but Russia has simply moved their high value assets farther back farther away from the front line and they're out of range of Ukraine's current Weaponry within the restrictions placed upon them by the US that's why they say it's so important to get these restrictions eased or outright lifted and that's their goal here or you a great point in the sense that this has been a public campaign that has been going on for a while from Top Ukrainian officials including uh president zalinsky do we have I don't get why people say hassad is a Kaba supporter it's just part of uh CIA infighting you have Anonymous accounts trying to pit people against each other because that's drama gets clicks it's just it's just op [ __ ] it's just an OP you know I think those of us that are Americans we are trying to get a s like here's what here's the reality the war in Gaza will only end if the democ if the part one of the parties in power ends it okay so if you want the genocide of Gaza to end you could be mad about America being evil genocidal country it is but it's not being challenged by anybody there's no country that's challenging the United States China isn't sailing into the mediteran and and standing toe-to-toe with the United States and threatening Israel with an intervention Europe isn't standing like there is there you know no one Brazil isn't sailing their Navy into the Mediterranean you know South Africa is not sailing their forces so there's nobody standing up to the United States that's the [ __ ] reality nobody so if you want the war in Gaza to end the only way the war in the Gaza ends is through in political Intrigue in the United States of America so attacking people who want the to end as they try to put pressure on cabala Harris is aiding providing aided comfort for the israelies that's the reality everything else is [ __ ] you could say ca Harris is a war criminal she is the United States is committing is the evil empire it is evil sometimes wins I mean like if if you're in Argentina I mean they just elected melee they just they just elected a Libertarian pedophile who's in an incestuous relationship with his sister and who is destroying the economy and causing 5,000% inflation sometimes evil wins in the short term at least so if you're attacking Hassan because he was trying to cover the DNC which is the biggest political event in the United States of America and he was working with the with Pro Palestinian protesters who if you watched his stream he probably was uh interrupted by what 50 to 100 protesters who thanked him for radicalizing them and encouraging them to come out and protest he gave voice to the UN uncommitted movement he gave voice to multiple politicians of the democratic party fighting to end the war in Gaza that is the reality of what Hassan is doing in the political Arena he hasn't sold out anything he didn't endorse kalair he didn't have an interview with Obama where he sucked them off he did the right thing and he has continued to do the right thing day after day if if if you know Hassan wanted to sell out to Centrist Democrats and the evil American Empire he could have done it a million times [ __ ] over and he's refused to do it that's why he got kicked out of his of the cre [ __ ] because he was talking about how much how angry he was that the uncommitted movement wasn't given Flor time at the DNC if you don't believe in engaging with American electoral politics fine but that's not true everybody who tries to [ __ ] on uh me or Hanan spends all their time talking about American electoral politics because why because it's extremely consequential and more importantly it gets you a lot of clicks and Views how many Canadian content creators talk about American politics right now how many [ __ ] Canadian polit content creators are talking about American politics right now I mean it's like there's like 30 so yeah like that's that's where the action is and by the way I like bad and panana I'm not going to sit here and trash him I just think it's you know listen I'm as frustrated as he is on the genocide I'm as disgusted as he is and if I was a non-american I probably would have pretty harsh words for every single American and every day when I'm thinking about politics and what to do next with myself with my life what the right answer is what the wrong answer is going forward I asked myself what more can I do what can I do what more should I be doing what action should I be taking what risk should I bring on to myself and my family that's that's that's the reality of of what we should be thinking about what I think about quite a lot how much more should I try to intervene how important am I really the American state is so important globally I get the anger from International socialists but they really missed the point they are they aren't the audience for someone like Hassan exactly any sense right now that because of some reason or another the US is actually considering changing the restrictions so far the administration and the Pentagon have been clear that the restrictions remain in place but Phil you and I have seen this so many times over the course of the war especially when Ukraine carries out a very public clamp campaign that the Biden Administration will say no no no no no and then suddenly yes we we saw it with Patriots we saw it with attacks we saw it with Abrams tanks and that's what Ukraine is hoping for here that the public and private pressure campaign that that perhaps a a comprehensive list of targets of what they want to hit to make that clear to the White House and all those things really made a difference except they didn't and they're losing I think this is my the Ukrainian war is going to drag on until all of the dens and all of the Lans regions are taken by Russia and then it's going to be a situation of the Ukrainian military is already nearly broken and this this uh K incursion doesn't change that calculation like there's only so many ukrainians that they can bleed and they're running out that that will build up enough pressure and convince uh ad ministration officials that finally they will go from all of those NOS to the yes that Ukraine is hoping for we'll have to wait and see or liberman from the Pentagon thanks so much let's continue this discussion with CNN political and National Security analyst David Sanger he's also the White House National Security correspondent for the New York Times and the author of The Great Book new cold Wars China's rise Russia's Invasion and America's struggle to defend the West David I want to start with you where Orin ended in the sense of there has been month after month an evolution of kind of the administration's analysis of the escalatory risks related to specific requests from Ukraine why is this time different why why would they not consider uh signing off on lifting restrictions it's a great question Phil because we're not completely certain where it is that they are in their assessment of Putin's sensitivity to these kinds of escalations you know early in the war you'll remember because you and I were both covering this at the White House at the time uh President Biden was concerned that if the US even provided some long range weapons just for use inside news says CNN is left leaning amazing that uh that could uh lead Putin to threaten again to use nuclear weapons as they decide discovered he wasn't that sensitive to it they allowed the use of the himars the attack thems they sent tanks that whole list that you heard from Orin what's different this time is that the ukrainians are actually attacking inside Russian territory and holding some us some Russian territory and they haven't been able to answer very convincingly at least in public two questions the first is what's their long-term goal do they really plan to hold this land or are they trying to trade it away for a territory that Russia has invaded inside Ukraine and second what's the purpose of striking deep in inside Russia with American weapons it's a pretty you know imagine for a moment Vladimir Putin was allowing uh a similar kind of attack using Russian weapons inside the United States just just a pathetic just pathetic as [ __ ] I don't I don't know what else to say losing the war in Ukraine doing a genocide in Gaza I mean can anyone really say that the Democrats forign policy has been a success half ethnic Chinese half Israeli rescued hostage Noah aanii her story actually had a huge impac in Chinese society and I think many Chinese people's reactions to her story was quite interesting and spoiler alert they're not nice you can decide whether we are being reasonable or not recently Noah got Global attention again because almost all the Western mainstream Medias took her words out of context saying she got tortured by the resistant Force while in fact she got hurt all over her body because of the most moral army air strike this is her recent Instagram story and this is the translation of that you can pause to have a look the reason why she got quite influential in Chinese social media because of this story posted by the Israeli embassies in China they claim that she's born in Beijing which actually got many Chinese people want to consider to save her until her mother got interviewed by one of the Chinese media I'm currently an Israeli citizen but I mean why couldn't China help me just because we're not we are Israeli citizens not Chinese do you understand why first of all Noah is not born in Beijing This Is A Lie officially made by Israeli Embassy in China she was born in Israel she was raised in Israel she's a former iOS Soldier her parents are both Israeli citizens why does China has the responsibility to go into the most dangerous war zone to save a soldier of a country that was not even our Ally just because her mother was a Chinese citizen that she choose to give up her Chinese citizenship already and becomes an Israeli citizen this comment is on 9th of October and he said I wonder what Israel did to people in Gaza this comment said how Israel gets his current territory where is it located how big is it in the past and how big is it now this guy said does anyone remember Yas arat and many many more interesting comments that call out the hypocritical Israeli regime who do you think is in the reasonable side here us are we being unreasonable and Heartless by the way Norah's mom lost her life because of brain cancer and hundreds of civilians were on alive just to save her and she decided to party and dance in another Music Festival when millions of people in Gaza are suffering thousands of people are dying and Z just post her partying videos online and think this is resilience bro this is not giving resilience this is giving this from downfall if you reached this far off the video could you help Muhammad taha's family evacuate from Gaza please just click the link Tree in my bio ah okay yikes I have a lot of thoughts on this you're never going to see me spend much time talking about individual hostages who come about uh because it's irrelevant um and you're you're doing you're doing weird moralist lib [ __ ] like I honestly don't give a [ __ ] I don't give a [ __ ] about somebody who is a hostage then going to a dance party and neither should you it doesn't [ __ ] matter that's just it's just it's just a weird thing to focus on I I I think it's actually counterproductive for what we're trying to do so I don't look at that kind of crap I'm very disappointed that that was included in that video because it's a waste of [ __ ] time what's relevant to care about is the millions of is of Palestinians that are being murdered by Israelis all right uh oh boy oh boy oh boy oh boy this is more important Jeremy skill posted according to the New York Times CIA and other us intelligence have been working around the clock with Israel including providing Advanced surveillance Tech to find yaha senoir for nearly 11 months they have failed to find a man confirmed to a small strip of land confined excuse me to a small strip of land Israel is occupying interviews with more than two dozen officials in Israel the United States revealed that both countries have poured vast resources in trying to find Mr senoir officials have set up a special unit inside the head headquarters of shinb Israel's domestic intelligence service and American spy agencies have been tasked with intercepting Mr sino's Communications United States has also provided ground penetrating radar to Israel to help in the hunt for him and other Hamas commanders so in other words the United States is directly involved with the genocide Jesus [ __ ] Christ Gaza debate reopens divisions between leftwing workers and union leaders when members of the Chicago's teachers unit showed up to March at the Democratic National Convention last week medy expressed two distinct frustrations the first was over the war in Gaza which they blame for chewing up billions of dollars in Aid to Israel that could be better spent on students in add in addition to a staggering loss of life the second was dis do you see by the way solidarity forever uh the second was disappointed with their parent unit the American Federation of teachers which they felt should go further in pressuring the B Administration to raid the israeli's military campaign since last fall many Rank and file union members have been outspoken under their criticism of Israel's response to the October 7th attack in which Hamad L militants killed more than we were very careful about what a moral stance was and also what the implications of every word we wrote was the president of American Federation of teachers Randy wearden said of the resolution her un recently adopted by the way Randy wearden is an anti-union Union Leader probably one of the worst union leaders in America uh she was vociferously anti Bernie uh she's vociferously Pro like she's basically like the chart she's like who are you if if you're trying to destroy the teachers union you would Randy WID Garden is your top person to pick she's also completely has Zero Charisma in some ways this divide reflects tetes over Israel of Gaza that exists within many institutions like Academia media and government but Labor's divide over Gaza also reflects a deeper more existential debate is the future of organized labor with its left leading activists who have become increasingly outspoken of various issues inside and outside the workplace or is it with establishment leaders whose politics are more pragmatic who do you think the New York Times is going to side with chat now organized labor in this country has been dying until the left leading activists rejuvenated it so who is the New York Times going to go with the people that are killing organized labor or the people that are rejuvenating organized labor what do you guys think the leaders who are generally elected but that percentage has been dwindling for decades by contrast the percentage of the portion of Labor mov that has been growing rapidly in recent years skews young and to the left precisely the demographic that cares the most about the war in Gaza in so far as the new energy is about these young people and it mostly is part of that what comes with that is Gaza being a high priority says Ruth Milkman a sociologist who studies labor at The Graduate Center of the City University of New York radical labor activists have been at odds with more moderate leaders for generations of course but the current divide first reared its head during the 2016 Democratic presidential yay everything's 2016 again I mean you guys won you won you won I've never seen somebody bit so much about winning you [ __ ] did it you rigged the elections you had your super delegates you you you convinced everybody that Hillary was moral electable you did it you won you now got another you got another election where you didn't even have to have a primary you did it you rigged the system yay the left is contained in America why are you bitching so [ __ ] much these sore winners man Jesus Christ at the time many large unions lined up to endorse Hillary Clinton before opponent Senator Bernie Sanders had a chance to gain traction with voters as Progressive became more enthusiastic about Mr Sanders whom they tended to trust more on issues like trade inequality the Iraq War many grew dis agented with their unions early endorsements the split flared up again in 2022 when rail workers in several units rejected labor contracts over issues like understaffing and scheduling after President Biden worked with Congress to impose the contract nonetheless averting a strike that he worried would damage the economy many labor activists criticized democrats for undermining workers leverage while mainstream union leaders defended the president the split over Gaza has resembled these earlier fights and some respects there's a yeah union leaders love it when the government forces you to have a contract at the barrel of a [ __ ] gun the split over Gaza resembled those earlier fights there's a general reluctance to take strong stands on anything that might risk political capital yeah they've got so much they're getting so much done with their uh obsequious deferential ass kissing they're really getting a lot done like and to preserve their access to Party leaders their access to get what clowned on when it comes to Gaza Dr Milkman said many national union leaders have been reluctant to criticize the bitab ation potentially hurt the party's electoral chances in February the 50,000 member local of the United Food and Commercial Workers International Union in Washington state back to campaign urging Democrats to vote uncommitted in the presidential primary arguing that it would pressure the bid Administration to alleviate the suffering in Gaza in response to Union's International Leadership privately made it clear they are not in that place said Joe Mahi uh the secretary treasur of the Washington local whose membership is relatively young and racially diverse they were more reluctant to put out a strong statement Mr Mahi added about the Union's leader after the local called for Mr B to leave the presidential race at Mid July International Union's presidents Mark Peron said that we strongly support Mr Biden's candidacy oh man I'm trying to remember if I have anything that I don't like about Peron I can't remember a spokesman for the international said that it had backed to ceasefire and the return of the Israeli hostages through its affiliation with other labor groups and it took strong stances of issues that impact our members the most Mo members of teachers unions have also parted company with their parent Union at the American Federation of teachers convention this summer when some members sought to amend the resolution on Gaza so would call for a suspension of US military aid to Israel the convention's chair did not allow the motion to go forward I would have liked to see it come to the floor and get a vote yeah they didn't let that happen because they knew it would have passed outside groups have also just played a role in these debates raising concerns that some teachers may be drawing from bias or inacurate material which risk misinforming their students oh yeah the entire subject of public education K to2 is very very concerning said Eric Finger Hut the president of the Jewish Federation of North America whose local federations have sought to quote educate labor leaders about Israel do you understand that the Jew that the the the the so-called Jewish fed like this is just this is so Insidious this is actually so disgusting man well some labor experts argue that by failing to more aggressively challenge US policy toward Israel you leaders may be missing an opportunity to help rebuild their movement Charmaine Chua a political scientist at the University of California Santa Barbara said one way to motivate workers to unionize might be to appeal their interest in Gaza many people are being freshly bought brought into labor movement work as a result of their solidarity with Palestine at Google and other tech companies where workers have been organized on off for years the war of Gaza appeared to Pro a large increas of employees interested in joining no tech for a parthe a group that pushes goog amaza to abandoned Cloud technology with the Israeli government and Military they gained a really experiential understanding of how much power they have in the workplace in April Google fired more than two dozen workers involved in cids over the cloud contract the United Automobile workers whose president sha Fain came to power thanks to a largely left leaning Insurgent group within the union also rallied its members with Progressive positions on political issues like calling for suspension of military aid to Israel a few other major unions joined the effort the union waged a successful Strike last fall and unutilized its first foreign uh major forward Auto player in the South this year Larry Cohen a former president of the communication workers of America said the Gaza issue was a reminder that the goals of union members and the interests of the democratic party were not always the same even if labor leaders sometimes lost sight of the difference everything we do needs to start with mobilizing our members Mr Cohen said a mistake for us as Leaders is to stray away from that because we're too concerned about being able to talk to the president so if we were appalled by the slaughter of innocence by the IDF we're left wing yes yes correct Jesus Christ I I tried to get Hassan to watch this yesterday chat and we watched it we watched it a couple times on my stream so we're going to watch it again because this is the type of stuff these people these union leaders when they make these uh Brave [ __ ] stands they need to get supported by us there isn't another Union in the Building Trades that hasn't called for a ceasefire like this Union has number one number two we have called on the federal government to stop funding the genocide I have personally been attacked for taking this position in principle I stand personally in support of calling to an calling for an end to the genocide that's going on right now in Palestine the investment world and the investment Community is messy we are working really really hard at the international pension fund on coming up with a more responsible investment policy when it comes to our investments which is your money to make sure that we don't fund our self-destruction this Union does not support what is going on in Gaza these things are messy and I'm the last person that should be talking about foreign policy but I'm going to tell you this much I don't want on Donald Trump's hands on the nuclear weapons of this country and we're not going to back down I just I just it's just pathetic how easily Democrats could win if they had an ounce of morality or backbone [ __ ] pathetic one of the things that you see a lot of is this idea of the two-state solution the two-state solution chat everybody knows it's [ __ ] everybody knows it's a fraudulent argument because why because what they really are talking about is a bentu stand where the Palestinians don't really have a real state Israel would still be in control of everything that is important about a state Israel would still be able to interfere with their domestic politics would still be able to control their foreign policy would would prevent them from forming an actual military there is no two State solution because Israel doesn't want allow to allow Palestinians to have an actual State I've been to the occupied Palestinian territories and rep reported from there for years I've spent a lot of time filming stories and documentaries about life under Israeli military occupation in the places that are supposed to make up a future Palestinian State Palestinians are a people there's a Palestinian flag Palestine is represented at the United Nations but for now there's no actual Palestinian State and I think the chance of there being one as part of a two-state solution that divides this land between Israelis and Palestinians well I don't don't think that's very likely and I'm going to tell you why more than 140 countries recognize Palestine as a state Norway recognizes the state of Palestine the path to peace goes through a two-state solution we have recognized both the state of Israel and the state of Palestine this is where many people expect this state to eventually exist more than 5 A2 million milon Palestinians live in these territories many of them refugees expelled from their homes by Israel remember that because it's an important part of the story and we'll get to it later but for now I want you to pay attention to these you know one thing that stands out to me every time I travel between Palestinian towns in the West Bank is how many Israeli settlements there are they're everywhere you can see these white stonewalled buildings and red tiled roofs all over the occupied West Bank and under International law they are all illegal because this is not Israeli land but the people who live in these areas are Israeli settlers in fact about one in every 10 Israeli Jews lives in one of these settlements they include high- ranking government officials military commanders and Israeli Supreme Court Justices the Israeli government subsidizes their lifestyle with cheaper housing and tax breaks these settlements are built on land confiscated by force from Palestinians stolen is another word for it and the settlements are built between Palestinian towns and Villages cutting people off from each other and from their own natural resources the infrastructure of these Israeli settlements security zones settler roads and military bases have made it impossible to create a contiguous Palestinian State here if you're asking me is a Palestinian State viable with all these settlements uh spread out throughout the West Bank no it's impossible it's impossible to have a state that's the reference to the Swiss cheese with HS if the West Bank was going to become part of a Palestinian State then these holes would have to be filled in by absorbing the settlements into this future Palestine either the Israeli settlers would come under Palestinian rule or they'd have to be removed it's hard to imagine Israel forcing hundreds of thousands of its citizens out of the settlement it spent decades building for them in fact Israel has said that it wants to Annex those settlements and keep them for itself the settlements are the most obvious reasons why Palestinian statehood in the West Bank s highly unlikely it's a reason you can see and feel it's a reason that's literally made of concrete but there are also a lot of political reasons let's go back a few decades the closest we've ever been to a two-state solution was the 1993 Oso Accords a deal signed by the Palestine Liberation Organization and Israel the PLO had given up its claims to Historic Palestine and hop the oso Accords would lead to a Palestinian state in just the West Bank and Gaza as part of the Accord so in other word the Palestinians gave up their claims the Palestinians gave up their claims and signed a peace treaty and what was their what was their reward recognized Israel Israel did not recognize a Palestinian state in return the Israeli Prime Minister at the time was the labor party's Yak Rin the Israeli Prime Minister Yak Rabin has been shot a Jewish gunman attacked him tonight at a peace rally in Tel Aviv rabin's assassin accused him of giving up too much to the Palestinians but rabine had never intended to accept full Palestinian Independence he said the most Palestinians would ever get was an entity less than a state and this has always been the most that any Israeli government has been willing to consider for example Rabin was seen as a liberal but Israel's longest serving prime minister the conservative right-wing Benjamin Netanyahu has said that the most heat allow Palestinians to have is a State minus and as we were recording this the Israeli Parliament voted to reject the creation of a Palestinian state so the rejection of a fully independent Palestinian state is mainstream in Israeli politics in contrast even Hamas the other major Palestinian movement has said that if a real Palestinian state were to be founded in the West Bank in Gaza it would accept that obviously the oso Accords did not lead to an independent Palestinian State and there haven't so in other words Benjamin n yahu is far to the right of Hamas serious negotiations for a resolution since early 2001 but one thing every Israeli government has done even when there were negotiations was to build more settlements here's Israeli historian AI schlime describing that strategy he's like a man who pretends to negotiate over the division of a pizza and he keeps eating it okay I promise that was the last food good analogy in this video but this whole idea of cutting up the land and dividing it is not new it's actually a pretty old one so old that there's an argument that partition trying to create two states on this land is the cause of this conflict let me explain in 1917 the British Empire occupied Palestine and promised to establish a Jewish homeland there now that was a problem because Palestine was not empty and only 6% of its population was Jewish so over the next 30 Years Britain tried to change those demographics it encouraged the immigration of European Jews to Palestine and helped them build the infrastructure of a state today the refugee from Germany finds 350,000 Jews in Palestine finds himself one of 50,000 a year pouring in from all over the world no more than 50,000 because that is the quota Britain has set at the same time it brutally repressed Palestinian resistance to British occupation and put down any attempt by Palestinians to build a state of their own and Britain created multiple commissions and reports like this one to answer the question of how to turn Palestine into a Jewish State the answer often came back as partition dividing the land into two countries one Arab and one Jewish the two-state solution but because Palestinians were the majority this meant that hundreds of thousands of them would have to be expelled to create a state with a sustainable Jewish majority by the end of World War II an exhausted Britain was retreating from its Global Empire and gave up sorting out the problem it had created in Palestine the Union Jack was H down and the doors closed for Good on the British mandate it punted the question to the newly created United Nations which in 1947 voted to partition Palestine and to give 55% of the land to the Jewish State even though Jews were still a minority the UN plan didn't explain how this state would be Jewish when even in that territory Jews weren't a clear major so the leaders of what would become Israel began changing those demographics by force they began expelling the Palestinian population eventually empty so they gerrymandered it and then they did ethnic cleansing more than 450 cities towns and Villages Israel declared itself estate in May 1948 and defeated a feeble unorganized military intervention by several poorly equipped Arab armies by the time the fighting stopped Israel controlled not just 55% but 78% of the land most importantly it had driven out 750,000 Palestinians 3/4 of the population and has never allowed them to return Palestinians call this the NECA the Arabic word for catastrophe and in 1967 Israel went on to occupy the rest of what had been Palestine since then attempts at creating a two-state solution have focused on reversing what happened in 1967 they ignore what happened to the Palestinians in 1948 when they were displaced and made stateless today there are around 6 million Palestinian refugees those who were kicked out by Israel and their descendants if partition was to finally succeed and we end up with two states where would they go you might assume they'd all go to the new state of Palestine but under international law refugees have the right to return to where their homes were which would be inside Israel today so here we are again trying to square this circle that's why there is the refugee Works Administration in in Palestine it's because it was a compromise to uh offset the Palestinians not being given the right to return the United Nations gave them uh Refugee assistance State Israel forced out most of the non Jews letting them back in which Israel is obligated to do under UN resolution 194 adopted in 1948 would make Jews a minority again you know the refugee issue isn't a minor problem for Palestinians the right to return is at the center of their struggle and identity but even if we were to ignore that and just focus on creating a Palestinian State on the ground we have to deal with the fact that neither Israel nor its main backer the United States really accept the idea of Palestinians having full sovereignty they insist that a Palestinian State can't have its own military for example it's hard to imagine Palestinians accepting that especially considering what happened during the NECA or Israel's current destruction of Gaza still let's assume that all those issues were resolved or put to the side in that scenario Palestinians would accept a state on 22% of their Homeland that's the West Bank in Gaza they'd agree to Israel annexing the settlements it is built on that land millions of Palestinian refugees would give up their right to return to their homes Palestine would be made up of disconnected territories and it would have less sovereignty than any other country on Earth what would a two-state solution mean for Israel because Israel's own laws Define the country as a place where the right to self-determination is reserved for Jewish Israelis only as Benjamin Netanyahu once said Israel is the national state not of all its citizens but only of the Jewish people that's a problem when about % yeah and we call that can you imagine them saying the same thing about white people like oh America is the homeland of white people only you know that's what he just said you can't call that a democracy population isn't Jewish these are Israel's Palestinian citizens the ones who managed to stay behind during the neck if a separate Palestinian state is established and isra remains a Jewish State what would happen to them some Israeli officials have been explicit about wanting to expel them to any future Palestinian State although most Israeli politicians refus the idea of that state ever existing so we keep coming back to the same point every attempt to partition the land and separate Israeli Jews and Palestinians ends in either population expulsion or a system where people have different rights based on the community they were born into so to recap Israel's illegal settlements and land grabs have pretty much made the founding of a Palestinian State impossible but even if that wasn't the case just creating a Palestinian State doesn't fix the core issue of this conflict the forced expulsion of most of the Palestinian population it also doesn't address the Discrimination facing Israel's non-jewish citizens the two-state solution doesn't solve any of these problems what the two-state solution does is try to preserve a Jewish majority state that was only created by forcing the Palestinians out and to be honest all of this is based on hopes from decades ago it doesn't reflect the reality of today where Israel has destroyed Gaza and effectively Annex the West Bank already the Israeli Human Rights group at selum like many other human rights groups describes that reality as apartheid a system of Jewish Supremacy between the river and the Sea maybe the solution isn't to find new ways to separate the people on this land by ethnic division but to strive for equality among all so all those officials from around the world that talk about a two-state solution perhaps they should also drive around the occupied West Bank understand the reality and then figure out what they'll do to change it hey guys thanks for watching I know this isn't the simplest topic so in the description you'll find a link to all of the sources we Ed so you can do some further reading yourself and please also watch this video about how Israel was created I think it helps put this story into context Jesus [ __ ] Christ man it's like really I think one of the things about politics uh in general is the more you learn the more disgusting it is and this never changes this this never changes uh and and so there is a lot of people who just simply don't want to learn because they know or they suspect that all the you know gentle little uh soft feelings they get when looking at like someone like o KLA Harris is running that makes me feel like America is not so racist anymore is actually just [ __ ] it's it's propaganda it's PR for an Empire a genocidal Empire of extraction and a ruthless exploitation well chat we are 4 hours into the stream and I boosted in the algorithm when we have stuff like hype trains you're actually kind of making sure that people who are just as important as you know the people that make a little bit more money here also get the opportunity to see the stream without it being inter interrupted by ads I don't know about you but I [ __ ] hate ads it is disgusting how quick Liberals are quick to sacrifice Mar marginalized groups in order to save brunch every time I feel like there's progress liberals pool is closer to Fascism how do we stay optimistic optimism of the will that means you keep doing what you believe is right no matter what you calculate the odds of success are doesn't mean you run in it doesn't mean you do The Charge of the Light Brigade it means that you have to have a certain type of irrational revolutionary optimism if you don't have that you're never going to succeed any movement that wasn't at least a little bit irrational when they began ever wins think about all the successes we've seen in the past and we're dangerously close to a hype train chat thank you for gifting subs and resubbing it really does mean a lot thank you henza tree moth uh hi huro 504 did you ever watch the Harland County War I mean i' I know about Harland County left right and slam thank you for the five tier ones it really does mean a lot anyway what I'm trying to say is most people who are liberals are not making a a a definitive choice to be evil you have to understand that they're far too lazy for that most of the time when people are liberals and they're saying they're supporting KLA Harris it's very shallow okay it's not based on some deeply considered belief system it is a posturing it's a social posturing it is a generalized feeling of of of being a good person of of and it's you know that's it and a lot of the times when you see people arguing with you they just want KLA Harris to win because they feel anxiety about Trump or they just don't like Trump and that you know there's that obviously there's valid reasons to feel anxiety there's valid reasons not to like Trump but they're not really using their brain so when you're arguing with a liberal they have a conclusion I want KLA Harris to win it's not based on like logic it's not based on on policies they have a position and then they argue retroactively they rationalize it to ourselves about the kind of country we live in let's be honest there's something wrong in this country telling people it is okay to work three jobs not see your kids not see your loved ones not take a vacation and God forbid you get sick okay and I still got a job at home cuz I'm mother cuz let's not forget I don't get a day off and I got to figure all that out how we going to eat how we going to pay rent how we going to pay the utility bills that every single thing went up after covid not one thing stayed the same except salaries the only thing that stayed the same in this country is the what the minimum wage even though everything else went up and we have a Democratic president or a Republican president then a Democratic president Republican president and neither party ever talks about what is really going on in this world cuz I'm not even going to save the country what is really going on in this world this there is no scarcity it is how do we pick people against each other so they're too distracted to see everything that I'm too addicted to consuming and how much profit I'm making and more profit how many more houses one individual can have how many Yachts can one individual have and you're going to arrest me now that I make a 10 City yeah so if I take the scraps from the trash and make some kind of shelter for me and my children regardless what I have mental health issues regardless what I'm an addict regardless of whether I am a female male whatever I am a human being first with what conscience are you criminalizing poverty yeah she accidentally hit the Communist talking points yeah for to totally totally what is the best response to liberals who says Palestinians are not a sacrifice they're willing to make but they will be treated even worse by Trump so it's not worth voting on that because there's no difference uh the answer is is um after you uh after they wake up from your fist connecting with their face as hard as you can punch um and uh if they can see past the stars and the ringing in their ears uh the next thing that you should say is do you have anything else to say no no and then you walk away I I mean honestly if somebody uh uh says they don't care about a genocide the first thing that I do is I say we are no longer have a relationship and I walk away that's my solution that's my solution for you uh as far as as I said before Liberals are not listening to arguments they don't care about arguments they don't care about logic they have an outcome they want feeling good when Harris wins and that's it it's not based on anything why because Harris has no positions the only position she has is I'm going to keep the genocide going that's KLA Harris's only position so if you want KLA Harris to win that's your only position she's firmly uh uh uh explained and like oh I believe a woman should be able to have an abortion who gives a [ __ ] what her opinion is there's no concrete path to actually ensuring that all women get access to abortion she want oh she I'm sorry I lied she has other position she wants to build Trump's wall on the southern border that's her position she she wants to prevent people with legitimate Asylum claims she wants to send rape victims back to their rapists she wants to said 15-year-old boys back to being for forcibly conscripted by MSM 13 she was to forcibly send Venezuelans and Cubans back to the sanctioned countries they come from because the United States has prevents them from Trading with the rest of the world oh I'm sorry those are her also her firm positions so if somebody wants Kaba Harris to win they don't have any POS so why are you talking about policies there isn't a single policy they she could adopt that would make these people change their mind so why are you talking about policies when it's not about policies you sound like Jimmy door uh actually Jimmy door is dumber than me Jimmy door thinks that you could vote for Donald Trump you dumb [ __ ] oh here let me help you dumb [ __ ] your mod comments is this is a dumb [ __ ] do you see what I mean chat like I'm just being being honest and instead of saying well actually no uh um Mike uh K Harris has these firm positions and policies on X Y and Z they just say you sound like you want Trump to win you you sound like you want Trump to win I'm making an argument why why can't you refute what I said by saying actually um comma Harris's policy on uh abortion is very nuanced in that she uh said oh wait uh actually h and a lot of people you know oh Mike you're being mean and you're mad you're mad that there's a genocide going on are you triggered yeah I guess I'm triggered I guess I'm triggered that our country is [ __ ] disgusting I think that if you vote for kbla Harris you're morally bankrupt you're a bad person Mike I I agree with you but I don't think the solution is punching family and friends in the face and never talking to them again I can't tell you what the solution is it's [ __ ] illegal figure it out Jim Kramer has been hosting cnbc's hit show Mad Money for I also didn't say punch anybody I was talking about a hypothetical scenario when someone said something so stupid it couldn't be real I never said punch anybody two decades a show where he advises people on stock picks interviews CEOs and hits sound effect buttons with what I can only describe as the fervor of an erect and rabid primate run into the ground have some pain shot the lights out I need you to sell that thing right now that's just good television folks Doom Kramer is now more or less synonymous with financial punditry but while hundreds of thousands of people tune in nightly to hear Kramer's stock picks his biggest critics are quick to point out that he appears to be wrong all the time so today I'm going to go where no journalist has gone before the bottom of Jim Kramer of course like any journalist the first move I had to make in telling Jim's story was to contact big Santa himself but as a YouTuber and a man with an email from eighth grade I I knew that wasn't going to be easy I literally tried to explain to someone that a weapons embargo would help cabala immensely and the response I got was we can't risk it like Risk what because she's not making arguments this is like I legitimately don't think you should make arguments with these people you're not going to make like just don't bother there's no point like you rush into making these arguments why because you're because you feel the anxiety of the reality that your country is supporting a genocide if you convince this person that it will make a difference what difference will it make what are you talking about they're not they're not listening to you to make arguments they have anxiety they want KLA Harris to win for whatever selfish self-rationalizing reason they have they don't care about facts and here's what you should ask somebody if somebody says you know X Y and Z thing about KLA Harris just say is there anything I could say is there any world where you wouldn't vote for Comm Harris is there any position or any argument that I could advance that would make you not vote to K Harris that's the very first thing you should say and if they said no I'm voting for her no matter what then don't waste your time say okay go and do likewise I want to I want you to know though I will never vote for her and that's it if she loses by one vote it was my vote okay like that's it if if on Election Day KLA Harris loses because of one vote it was my vote if she loses by 3,000 votes it was my viewers I did it my Pursuit began with a flurry of messages to CNBC using all of the carefully worded language I could muster but the big kahunas over at broadcast media weren't having it so I decided if I couldn't talk to the real Jim Kramer I'd do the next best thing that any normal and ethical reporter would do if the central interview of their piece fell through post a roll for a Jim Kramer lookalike online and hire an actor to play him in a sitdown prescripted interview with me Dan Tumi and after combing through hundreds of applications I eventually came upon my very own Jim Kramer but even though I technically didn't have the real gym I still wanted everything he said to be as close to the truth as possible so I wrote Our interview almost entirely out of things that Jim Kramer has actually said or written in the last 30 years and have now been taken entirely out of context Jim Kramer thank you for joining us thank you I'm Jim Kramer Jim I want to start with your obsession like I legitimately don't and here's the thing like many people will be like well you know you know they live in they live in a non- swing state so they're like you know my vote doesn't matter do what you want to do I'm telling you I'm voting in a swing state and I'm not going to vote for Kaba Harris if the genocide is going going on and there's nothing that can change my mind okay that's that so you could keep yelling at me all you want but you're just wasting your time don't even reply picking stocks fact there's nothing within me I'm just a a dollar sign represented by a man got it from a young age Jim Joseph Kramer was ambitious he had an early fascination with stocks as a child in fifth grade while there was waste of time after school playing board games or combat or touch football I'd be gaming the clothes soon this whiz matriculated to Harvard University where he became the editor and chief of the Harvard Crimson which he parlayed into his first job in the media your first gig was at the Tallahassee Democrat a newspaper out of Florida uh that must have been fun this been a good time only a few months after my arrival in Tallahassee a craze murer broke into the Sor house down the block from my apartment I got there early enough to Leap Frog every other crime reporter in the country in the unfolding Ted Bundy National serial killing spring what the [ __ ] my reporting on that double murder received so much coverage around the country that editors who wanted hardboiled crime reportage my state used to be a sweet state but Ted years's Democratic failures have turned a deep red to the detri of the people that live here damn that's a shame anyway offer me jobs in just a few months I found myself covering for the Los Angeles Herald examiner everyone who died violently in California but despite this thriving media career Jim just couldn't shake his financial fetish so he soon turned his higher ed ced's love for stock picking and hardworking attitude into a job at Goldman Sachs where he worked before starting his own hedge fund in 1987 and it was running his fund where Jim Kramer got to publicly display the thing he would become most famous for rage in 1997 I tried to strangle a young analyst because he had cost me so much money by parametric a failing software company really sounds like you were fun to work with oh you you made a bargain with the devil if you worked for me I was that person it was mental illness I think in a lot of ways that made made it so I was I was too angry and let me tell you if there's one thing this country likes to do this is this is the official position of this stream this is the official position of this stream take a screenshot take a clip this is my position it will never change I live in a swing state if the genocided Gaza is still happening on election date day I will not vote for KLA Harris there is absolutely nothing you can do to change my mind about this good luck there is absolutely nothing you can do nothing now if you think kamla Harris winning is important then you need to convince her to stop the genocide in Gaza as far as down ballot Democrats I will vote for a Democrats Who come out and say that uh there should be an arms embargo and or they say it's a jde in Gaza so if the down ballot Democrat is running for dog catcher and he doesn't call it a genocided Gaza then they're not getting my vote every single politic from dog catcher to president has to have a position on the genocide I'm not going to let people stay silent if they want my support they have to be doing the right thing no stance equals no vote if you have a different position than this you're a pathetic [ __ ] loser and I think you're complicit in genocide us mentally ill screamy fellas it's to get our tushes on the airwaves throughout the '90s household investment in stocks grew with a ripping bull market meanwhile this Scarlet Skin stock sodomizer became a common fixture in financial media magazines newspapers Charlie Rose even his own website the street.com he was Everywhere by 2005 he had quit his hedge fund and was now hosting Mad Money his own show where we finally got to see the big man on muzzled hey I'm Kramer the lightning r on Kramer Mad Money hey first one Sam youc man electrocuted only the best they know nothing who is Jim Kramer please welcome Jim Kramer Jim Kramer please welcome Jim Cramer the new Stark Industries business plan but despite this success it wasn't all roses in crer how did you first come across Jim Kramer in your life it's probably the same for me as it was for a lot of people it was the be Sterns call there seems to be a lot of people that are into human rights but are going to just be an apathetic sync for the left I'm not actually hearing any solutions what do you mean what do you mean who do I vote for if not comma who you should vote for is whoever will uh lower gun control if KLA Harris is doing a genocide in November you should be voting for the candidate that will allow us to have as many weapons as we possibly can get legally anybody who will repeal controls on mortars and machine guns and bombs and and and make it legal you know repeal the uh arms control laws that's who you should Vote for This liberal thinks that [ __ ] the what we should talk about with genocide going on is how his taxes can be slightly improved or whatever the [ __ ] else pathetic back during the great financial crisis Jim came out and said you know hey Bear Sterns is fine should I be worried about Bear Sterns in terms of liquidity and get my money out of there no no no Bear Sterns is fine and then like a day or two later they went under bear Stern Shares are down 90% this morning and it's not just bear pretty much every single bank is plunging in early trade this morning and while Kramer has argued that in this clip he was talking about the Coller stock money being held in be Sterns rather than be Stern's stock price it is a bad look when you're the guy screaming be Sterns is fine and Days Later Bear Sterns collapses and it was this moment that led to Jim Kramer appearing on The Daily Show where he was spit roasted like a wedding hog by former good workor intern John Stewart I can't reconcile you think organizations like DSA should take a position of voting for comma yes they should say no vote for genocide you know it's a bare minimum you know and by the way this is a very e the thing about this is it's like me saying we should eat ice cream for dinner instead of [ __ ] you know or I'm sorry you know ice cream for dessert cuz I'm sorry people will get too mad it's like saying our choices are ice cream for dinner or [ __ ] for dinner and people say well you have to eat [ __ ] for dinner no I don't she decides and and listen I can say without a doubt that if KLA Harris loses and the genocide is still going on Gaza it'll be incredibly gratifying I will be happy the Brilliance and knowledge that you have of the intricacies of the market with the crazy bull I see you every night and in some circles especially the Dark World of financial meme Twitter Jim Kramer has since become more famous for his stock misses than his makes like the time he told Elizabeth Holmes she's the next Steve Jobs or when he told us during bumble's IPO that it was going to be a growth stock only for it to fall 90% since for the time he called Sam bankman freed the next JP Morgan the time he told viewers to buy Silicon Valley bank before its collapse or when he recommended you by the stock of Chinese ride hailing company DD at its IPO shortly before it was fined by regulators and forced to delist Kramer's picking inaccuracy has become such a widespread joke that CEOs will literally tweeted him not to talk up their companies and while some have turned Kramer's misses into memes others have turned them into money namely King Tuttle here the creator of the inverse Kramer ETF a fund that automatically invests in the opposite of Kramer's stock recommendations why in financial media bring Kramer out day after day with Defence you know hey we're going to find out what Jim thinks and zero accountability for bad calls just rub me the wrong way and somebody had to take the other side of it and sure this criticism absolutely has real teeth but it does raise a long pondered philosophical how do the reverse ETF how do the reverse Kramer doing question can anybody accurately pick individual stocks and consistently make a profit there is this perennial kind of question the search for talent is Talent real like does Talent really exist in terms of stock I have no doubt that it it it does exist in people who take a very very long-term view I think there is almost no one I think it's basically impossible to be right in the short run the corer to that is is there such a thing as anti- Talent it's fun to have a product that's poking fun at Jim Kramer but I don't think that betting against someone who falsely portrays themselves as a stock market genius is a genius move at at all but if you'll lose money following Kramer's trades and you'll lose money doing the opposite of Kramer's trades then isn't there anybody out there who can tell me exactly which stocks I need to pick so I will definitely make money and I've been on CNBC Bloomberg Fox all of them there's no such thing as a guru you know if there was you know why would I be out on CNBC telling people what to buy and sell I'd be on a yacht making my own buy and sell decisions I'd be very dubious if there is any Guru out there who's better than anybody else there are just people out there who are more entertaining study after study shows that it's as bad or worse than a Quin flip listening to TV pundits not to say that I'm the world's greatest stock picker that that's why I don't do well on on TV is you know you go in there and they ask you something and you're like okay this is probably true but let me just throw on this caveat and that's not interesting that's not you know that's not fun to have on TV radio uh but people who Express themselves that way tend to be more thoughtful and more accurate than people who are just from the outset will give you a a strong confident answer that's right we don't like um we don't like Nuance we like assertive confidence that's what we like yeah yep same reason I hire a dominatrix so well I mean this is this is this is what I've said about stocks from the very beginning the only the only prudent thing to do is to buy a uh Index Fund with as low a fee or zero fee that's it that's the only thing that has any kind of track record of success and far better than an individual but there are people out there that are buying lottery tickets and some of them win you know and then people go oh how did you win that lottery ticket well I went to my local corner store and I bought a lottery ticket oh okay I'll do that too and then we interview the people that who won the lottery ticket so there's a million people that do that same thing they all lose but the one guy wins we go interview the other guy well I listened to Jim Kramer and I he said buy a lottery ticket at your local quarter store so that's what I did and here I am a multi-millionaire that is the stock market advice system in a nutshell do we really need Talking Heads at all it's a tough question for a guy like Kramer but I wasn't afraid to ask it straight to his face but what do you say to your biggest critics we're not going to win you in the end this is a commercial product and the market has judged his commercial product to be worth something and if it wasn't I would have been cancelled years ago why ever talk about individual stocks then if if you manage your portfolio well if you do the homework and stay disciplined I think you can beat the S&P 500 with with a diversified group of individual stocks if you're not going to do homework then own an index fund and that's perfectly fine you need to do what is right for you yes we should do what's right for us and maybe when it comes to Jim Kramer that means changing our perspective we have Jim Kramer because he's good TV we hate Jim Kramer because good TV is extremely not conducive to communicating nuanced Financial advice but maybe for all of his misses the biggest thing Kramer is wrong about is himself hey I'm Kramer welcome to M money welcome to crr America other my friends I'm just trying to make a little money other people make friends I'm just trying to make a little money other people make friends other people my friends other make friends I'm just trying to make you little money I'm just trying to make you some money I'm just trying to make you little money I mean this man isn't an educator first he's an Entertainer first the market has clearly judged Jim Kramer to be worth something but maybe to the millions of people who have watched Kramer over the years his value actually has to do less with money and is really about something closer to Friendship for good work I'm danant Tumi Jim Kramer thank you for joining us yes thank you I am Jim Kramer Jim Kramer thank you so much for joining us yes thank you I am Jim Kramer Jim Kramer thank you for joining us yes thank you I am Jim Kramer Jim Kramer thank you for joining us thank you I'm Jim Kramer Jim Kramer thank you so much for joining us yes thank you I am Jim Kramer Jim Kramer thank you for joining us yes thank you I am Jim Kramer did you see the goldfish stock picker 2:30 a.m. time to rise and grind first thing I do is grab breakfast wish I had time to cook but I'm far too busy for that it's been 6 months since I quit YouTube to trade stocks full time social media is nice and all that I like to get the day started with just rest of the video is not the is not loading but the real two option future derivatives derivative Futures byy come coin take all your savings put in the C coin they trade that option trade that stock C coin is worthless I told every last drop of my C coinet sell it sell it got it and that's just the day in the life of the stock Trader baby I executed the stock trade and it gave me money so make sure to tune in next time for listen I don't know how to trade stocks man I lost all my money on Robin Hood I had no idea what I'm doing if only there was something that could trade stocks for me hi I want to give my goldfish Frederick the ability to trade stocks now I know what you're thinking Michael you own a goldfish and Michael why haven't you posted a video in 8 months anyways this is my idea right right right right here we track fick's position anywhere he is in the tank then every morning when the Stock Market opens he'll be prompted with two random companies he'll choose one by spending more time on that side of the tank then the computer will take his decision and buy that stock with the money of whoever is sponsoring this video but before any of that we need to track fish you might think I built my fish tank against a blank white wall because it provides ample lighting and doesn't over stimulate my fish wrong I did it so I can write the detection software to just look for orange pixels of the fish and it won't get [ __ ] up by a shitty messy background here's some code I wrote that displays what the camera sees it's not much but we can add a function in that filers out specific colors like a part tie then we can tell that function to filter out every color that isn't orange now this is kind of a complicated coating thing so just try to keep up with this and bada bing bada boom we got a color mask but it has these little Speckles of [ __ ] in it we just got to sprinkle some post-processing code on there and clean it right up I did not have to Google how to do that shut the [ __ ] up then we take that postprocess image find the location of this little blob of pixels draw a circle around it then take that Circle copy it draw it on the original image bada bing bada boom tracking fish fish track and honestly that was most of the hard part I just added some random stuff like the tickers and some logic and I think we're ready to test it uh without actual money cuz I don't know if it works Bop all right so you should see these lights turn on including the fish tank one because it's I wired it to this relay box over there and the program should should turn them on automatically anytime anytime it will turn them God [ __ ] damn it is it broke no no the lights are on Boom ticker at the top Boom the fish is choosing he's favoring the m mo1 o what it be o what's he going to oh my God [ __ ] he didn't buy Bo well I mean he didn't buy the stock but like good job fish this amazing he bought ultria over Boeing good excellent choice I think we're ready to hook it up to the actual which actually going to be super easy there's like a million of these stock market apis that let you buy stocks with just a little bit of coat I'm going to use this one called alpaca API they're all pretty much the same though and really all I have to do is add a few lines to the fish code and yeah I guess yeah frer can start training stocks anytime I'm going to go upstairs and start it what is that what is Wall Street bets Wall Street bets is a subreddit for dip shits who try to get rich quick on Meme stocks we like the St like this idiot who recorded himself losing $50,000 in 2 seconds their Investments are not based on logic here they're based on memes and tendies those guys are [ __ ] Geniuses their stocks only go up wait what [ __ ] I could have built a bot that scraped the Wall Street bet subreddit and just bought stocks based on what they posted there should I just start over but Frederick already knows how to trade stocks but those guys from Wall Street bets literally only pi good stocks you've seen GameStop you've seen Tesla you've seen you saw Frederick in there he was [ __ ] incredible just stick to the plan Wall Street bet said it would be free tendies what do you not get about free tendies I don't know I wish like if only if only I could make both and then pit the two systems against each other in a super sick competition of fish versus man to see which one makes more money fish for sure Tak an early Le by buying Nike stock for those dumb asses at Wall Street be by lucid and they're close behind this is going to be a when it's me the [ __ ] ass audience Michael you can't just represent an entire Community with a computer program yes the [ __ ] I can for this bot to work we need to know how Wall Street bets feels about certain stocks to do this we're going to use sentiment analysis which is a natural language processing technique that uses machine learning they were looking through my YouTube comments one says die forever bastard I hate you a sentiment analysis bot would classify that as negative and if we look at another one that says I think you're great also I have a super cool robot idea for you a sentiment analysis bot will classify that as super [ __ ] negative because your idea probably sucks at to train a sentiment analysis bot you need a lot of labeled data so a lot of samples of text that are labeled positive or negative by a human there are a lot of these data sets out there that are publicly available but the text is like normal person talking Wall Street bets they talk about tendies and YOLO and Boomers be hands or paper hands STS just YOLO very unique Vo vocabulary therefore I needed to make my own data set using their [ __ ] weird Wall Street bets language so I went to /all Street bets sorted by top of all time downloaded the top 10,000 posts and all that's left to do was to label them as positive or negative so I sat down with a nice cup of coffee and labeled the data myself no no that would have taken four or 5 hours that's [ __ ] stupid instead I spent an entire month learning the react web framework and building a website that would allow users to log in and label the data for me then I tweeted asking Wall Street bets members to give me their Reddit usernames I then pluged plug those usernames into the Reddit API got the top 10 accounts with the most Reddit Karma who were active on Wall Street bet those 10 people labeled 1,000 post each 10,000 post total and created the data set for me and that's how you turn a 5H hour task into a 1 and 1/2 month task because I'm a programmer and that's what we do I use that data set to train a sentiment analysis bot and now every morning when the fish is trading stocks this bot is going on r/ Wall Street bed it's looking through the top post of the day until it finds when it likes and then it buys the stock that that post is talking about so that's how that works let's get back to the competition and see which one is better at trading stocks insane things are happening Michael right now crazy stuff going on interesting buy from Wall Street bets I don't know if the GameStop play is going to work out people love games Michael they [ __ ] love games big tank from Wall Street bet could be like another 911 situation fish is going crazy buying Costco and Facebook Facebook Meta Meta now it's a crazy day there's a lot of volatility right now very confusing I don't know where this one's going to go I'm going to get an expert's opinion on this for sure the Wall Street bets never made money you're all set hey this is Graham Stefan he does Financial investing videos and is also Rich As [ __ ] hello so you do you have you do money you have money I came to ask you questions I'm going to give you two portfolios I just want you to look them over which one do you think is better okay okay portfolio one's interesting now portfolio 2 ah okay we got a lot of the me mes here the Market's been down pretty much everything has been down last 3 months but if I were to I would feel way more comfortable with the first one what if I told you that an algorithm has picked all of these stocks I would believe it I'm going to give you the performance wow the algorithm is uh performed now this is only over 3 months for the portfolio one is managed by more by Frederick um this video is about investing so like maybe giving viewers an opportunity to invest into a fund that is managed by my fish so it's a fish yeah I'm back things have been going crazy what did Graham say his money is on the fish peaks in The Valleys for wall Street's bets it's better it's better than bigger than anyone they can win but Graham's money is on the fish I [ __ ] hate you Graham Stevens big fall What the fu was that what was that huge it's not looking good for Wall Street bets right now it all what is that what is that this could be it it's climbing it's the come it's climbing it's to the Moon it's going to break through bro it's to [ __ ] break oh [ __ ] this one [ __ ] go Frei [ __ ] you Wall Street FS get [ __ ] on by a fish [ __ ] go that settles it fish is the superior technology so that's it right no I think I can use this fish technology to create a legitimate business I've been working on a startup proposal for the last couple of days and I have a meeting set up to try and get some investors so I'm going to it's like a venture capitalist startup meeting except it wasn't that at all it was like this weird [ __ ] hype house for startup Founders so each one of these people have started their own company and the management has allowed me to pitch my startup idea to them hello everybody my name is Michael I'm here representing reefy a small fintech startup I can tell you I can tell you chat that uh uh we need to restart the Red Army we need to start it up again today was the day happening already articles like this this a lot of inexperienced people are losing money in the stock market that's where briefly fits in we have a couple of algorithms going WSB mainly sentiment analysis the second fish tracks analyst movements WSB is performing well below Market average but fish is outperforming the NASDAQ by some 133% last quarter honestly the main reason I'm here is because the performance of that fish technology it's performing very well but generally we think it can to be performing even better pretty sure it comes down to a few things tank Health Clarity like of the water we're probably going to be improving food and like better filters in general I already covered that we need to know how long the fish can perform looking into the data the lifespan of the species is generally around 8 to 12 years we think that with better water parameters and more attention to the food we can get it up to an outlier of 20 plus years the fish's name is Frederick and that uh thank you do you have any questions I have a lot of questions so the fish is determining your stock piix yeah it's fish it's the it's well it's fish is the idea so um we've got a front-facing camera on the fish is prompted with two stocks whichever side it spends more time on just that stock uh do you have any more questions you know not everyone can see the vision and that's okay I'm not it's not like I'm mad I'm not not mad or anything [ __ ] [ __ ] [ __ ] [ __ ] why don't they understand [ __ ] I mean basically this is just saying is a random stocks better than Wall Street bets and the answer is yes obviously I guess the world just isn't ready for this technology all I wanted to do was get super super super [ __ ] rich but maybe I don't deserve it but I think I know someone who does so I sold all the stocks in the portfolio and withdrew the money this is the exact amount of money Frederick has made so far $1,759 can you believe my goldfish made this and then I went back to where I got him I got him from this tank and now he's doing such big things excuse me I'm looking to get some like better filters and food they're really good filters awesome I will grab this what about food like this oh that's some fancy [ __ ] the the rest is for Frederick sorry is for Frederick the rest of it Frei yeah the rest is for you can keep the rest Frederick made it thank you no you just gave the guy the money man Michael why did it take you so long to make the video I don't [ __ ] know it feels like I blacked out for 8 months and still somehow managed to procrastinate the video until the last minute like a dumbass but hey still faster than internet historian baby that's what matters and as for Fred he made enough money to retire he'll live out the rest of his days in fish paradise that's the end of the video thank you for watching if you like can you explain why this means social West funds are good and capitalism is based on a totally false premise what not just Wall Street bets also the daz DEQ he said by 133% amazing you can subscribe so you can catch my next upload in uh 2025 shout out to um Frederick for making this possible shout out to um God Jesus Catholic Jesus Oh I made this poster for myself using the data from Frederick versus Wall Street bets because all the graphs needed to be in 8k so why not I figured I may as well sell it so if you want it you can have it and if you don't want it you do not have to get it it is [ __ ] gargantuan though it's like my height I mean I'm a short [ __ ] person but like it's still a gargantuan poster it's like 5 ft long it has all the brands and when they were bought by like who at the exact times it's very it's it's it's it's lit if you want it you can go to my new URL pissbaby doart is no longer my store or whatever I just didn't like the weird toilet humor I'm trying to go in like a more elegant direction also I forgot to renew the domain and so somebody stole it so now piss baby. store is my new best friend it doesn't matter you just click the thing in the description anyway yeah thank you for watching yeah okay goodbye I'm saying that if people picking stocks doesn't predict of company's performance there's no point in the stock market the stock Market doesn't predict a company's performance it is just a a place where people with ownership in a uh company can exchange that ownership in exchange for money now there is a uh that is the it is a secondary Market you know that's it that's what the stock market does it doesn't do anything now you could say that you know the stock prices can be reflective of some sort of fundamental in the underlying company and that's true at the extremes but for the most part it's not uh you could say it's based on sentiment which is more accurate the sentiment around a company uh but you know it it it doesn't actually do that see you in a year the sponsor of this video is public.com do you wish you can buy and sell stocks like Frederick well you [ __ ] can't he's special but if you want to get close public is a great place to start it's a commission-free trading app where you can buy and sell stocks follow investors and share ideas aside from taking zero commissions the big draw of public is that you can follow other investors look at their portfolios and learn from them and on top of that public will never sell your data or move your trades through market makers which is something I learned about when I was making that uh [ __ ] presentation the the hype house cause conflicts of interest depending on who owns what it doesn't sell order flow I'm pretty sure it definitely does there's no [ __ ] way app does it the other one that I'm not allow follow me [ __ ] nugget um they said I don't know I mean anyway that was a good video that was funny making fun of Wall Street BS is good all right chat uh today is Friday which means it is movie we do movie night on Fridays wow and what are we doing this week well we are watching we are watching the series dopesick the next few weeks so I think we're going to be watching episodes 1 through three tonight together on the Discord I know most people don't think about us up there in the mountains many of my patients are minors this dangerous work and they carry the burden of building this nation on their backs they pain these people my people trusted me I can't believe how many of them are dead now we be looking at something that could be Pig oxyon Purdue Pharma they've been marketing the drug is something that's not addictive when it clearly is all your doctors are going to be asking how is this even possible your most effective talking point are these magic words less than 1% less than one % less than less than one they told me that less than 1% would become addicted foxy cotton does what I think it can it could soon become Purdue's first billion dooll drug Purdue continues to lie about the drug safety to doctors patients and the FDA we have a major case here addiction rates overdoses and crime on the rise across the country because of this drug I think maybe that medicine might be just a tad more addictive than you said I can't live like this anymore our community is Ground Zero for a national catastrophe Purdue will not move unless we punch hard this is not our fault these people want to be a d I want top Executives to feel some pain it's crucial they understand we've created greatest painkiller in the history of human civilization thanks I think I can make this the biggest drug in the world all right well we're going to be learning about the Sackler families Purdue and uh they all got away with it and the Democrats didn't do anything either uh but I feel like being mad so we're going to be watching that today at 6 p.m Eastern 9 excuse me 900 p.m. Eastern 6 p.m Pacific on the Discord throwing the Discord links in the chat I'm saying the main purpose of the stock market is making exploitation easier maybe on the margins it helps allocate funds it's so that saturated that it doesn't do much aside from exploitation I mean that's capitalism that's doing exploitation who let the US Army protect those poppy fields that killed Americans I mean the poppy fields in Afghanistan oh here you go chat after the Taliban successfully chased the United States out of the country of Afghanistan and defeated the US military um they successfully uh ended the production of opium in uh Afghanistan within a couple months uh the so-called United States Institute for peace put out this press release upon the confirmation by the United Nations that opium was no longer being produced in Afghanistan the Taliban successful opium ban is bad for Afghans and the world the Taliban have done it again implementing a nearly complete ban against cultivation of opium poppy Afghanistan's most important Agricultural Product repeating their similarly successful 2000 to 2001 prohibition on the crop but the temptation to view the current ban in an overly positive light as an important Global counternarcotics Victory must be avoided according to satellite imagry analyzed by Alex and the associated research by David Mansfield an independent researcher who has conducted extensive fieldwork and Analysis on OPI Afghanistan's opium sector and Rural economy for more than a quarter Century show that the Taliban opium ban announced in April 20 2022 has been remarkably successful in sh sharply reducing Opium poppy cultivation and heland Province by far Afghanistan s's largest opium producing Province the area of poppy cultivation was cut from over 129,000 hect acres to 2022 to only 740 as of April 2023 now this is what you need to understand and and I want you to understand that this is not a conspiracy theory this is a fact the United States of America is the producer of addictive drugs um there was a the previous place where uh opium was uh coming from was called the Golden Triangle when the United States was fighting the war in Vietnam the southeast Asia was the leading producer of of of heroin it was called the Golden Triangle when the United States was defeated in uh a in uh Vietnam that ended do you understand they also have a lot of opium addicts in Afghanistan is a it's a is a problem for the Taliban well they're not going to be opium addicts anymore when they don't have opium anymore anyway chat we're going to be watching that today sorry for the uh really bad and angry stream today uh sorry for you know it wasn't you know typically we've been trying to have good vibes around here uh and I understand why you know uh it's not it's The Vibes are off because you know KLA Harris is terrible and uh she should lose the election um and there's really not you know I know that everybody is bummed out by me saying that but it's a fact uh so there you have it com like a Tom thank you for the 20 tier ones I really do appreciate it anyway chat I will be back on Monday uh thank you so much for hanging out with me today sorry for the bad vibes uh um you know we'll try to figure out ways of of more positive and constructive change um it's a tough one it's it's definitely a tough one right now um I was more bummed when you were slurping her up I wasn't slurping [ __ ] up uh anyway thank you everybody for hanging out with me will be back tomorrow uh on Monday um and don't forget the Discord I'm going to throw all the links in there I'm throwing you over to vo uh stay safe out there solidarity forever and uh free Palestine all right everybody stay safe thanks for all the support this week I'll see you in the Discord peace
