FINAL Philadelphia Eagles Record Prediction For The 2024 NFL Season Before Week 1

[Music] with the Philadelphia Eagles set to take on the Green Bay Packers week one Friday night in Brazil it is time for my final Philadelphia Eagles record prediction we're going to go through every game on the Slate which games do I think the Eagles win which ones did they lose we're unpacking all of that here on today's Eagles Now by chat sports I'm Chase senior appre appreciate all of you for joining me and sticking with this topic this is today's poll question and it's the pin comment of today's video how many games do you think the Eagles will win this season let me know down in the comments section by dropping me either a record prediction or simply just the amount of games that you think Philadelphia will win and I'll reveal my answer coming up here at the end of the show let's set the foundation with some of the worries that I have for this team going into 2024 we've always talked so positively about the Eagles for the most part especially this off season because there have been a lot of positive developments but some of the concerns that I have going into this year can the Eagles get their mojo back after the late season collapse last year you have two new coordinators and Kell Moore and Vic fangio that's a lot to learn especially if you want to get off to a faster start I do think that Philadelphia will be a better Coach team because more and fangio are the coordinators but these are are two new systems that Philadelphia is introducing to the current players on this roster Additionally the secondary has been completely remade it looks a lot different than that unit last year which was absolutely horrendous there's a lot of uncertainty across the defensive line who's going to rush the quarterback can the Eagles stop the run can you get a big jump from a player like Jordan Davis there are some depth concerns that I have in the trenches along that Eagles defensive line as well on the offensive line you have a lack of depth and this is the post Jason Kelce era I was high on cam Jurgens coming out of Nebraska Jason Kelce helped hoe Roseman handpick that player everything that I've seen from Jurgens as a center leads me to believe that he can be a good player in this league but it's hard to fill the shoes and replace the best center in the history of this organization and arguably the best center in the history of the National Football League to the quarterback spot can Jaylen Herz turn back the clock a little bit and be that 2022 self or the player who in November of last year was the odds on favorite to win NFL MVP partially due to his clutch play and then lastly for Nick serani there is a lot of pressure on him a lot of people wanted him fired after the Wild Card loss to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers I trust how Jeffrey lurry and hoe Roseman run their business they wanted to to bring Nick serani back they are a believer in him I am as well and I think that he can prove a lot of people wrong this year so 10 concerns or eight concerns that I have for the Eagles going into this upcoming season and without further Ado here is my record prediction game by game I think this is going to be a terrific ball game week one in Brazil against the Green Bay Packers these are two of my favorite teams in the NFC if one of these two squads is representing the NFC in the Super Bowl in New Orleans in February won't surprise me at all I do think that the Eagles have a slight Talent Edge and I think that Philadelphia has a big game experience Edge and I think that the Eagles are able to take down Green Bay final score 30 to 28 a week two Eagles return home for their official home opener at Lincoln Financial Field and I think the Atlanta Falcons could surprise a lot of people this year they've made wholesale changes offensively led by the signing of Kirk Cousins they have gotten better defensively they needed an edge rusher they made the Matthew judon trade you have some young players emerging Drake London bejan Robinson hopefully Kyle pittz can finally find it it's been mysterious how bad he's been I like what Atlanta can do in the NFC South but but welcome to Philadelphia we don't play around especially in South Philly for the home opener it's going to be electric Atlanta isn't ready for that birds get another Victory week three on the road against New Orleans Saints I have Philadelphia losing this game two reasons Saints have one of the best defenses in the National Football League they are really difficult to match up against so sound at all three levels led by a defensive head coach and Dennis Allen who I think is better suited to be a defensive coordinator but as his fingerprint on that defense and then number two that's a very difficult place to play after I believe two competitive games against the Packers and against the Falcons Philadelphia loses week three against the Saints but it's fine week four on the road against the Buccaneers I think the Eagles exact Revenge after that awful Wild Card loss back in January and Philadelphia is able to take down the Tampa Bay Buccaneers who I don't know if they're going to be as good as they were last year I think Baker Mayfield might miss offensive coordinator Dave Canales who is now the head coach of the Carolina Panthers and it's going to take that Buccaneers team a little while to get going and for Baker to find that Groove so after four games I have the Eagles going three and one to start the 2024 campaign totally cool record in the first month of the season week five it is the Eagles by those real ones who have been watching the show for a long time I hate that by it is way too early in the season because from week six through week 18 you were playing game after game week after week now the schedule does get easier on the back half and the Eagles do have some rest advantages built in I just think that buy is way too early Philadelphia comes out out of the off week to take on the Cleveland Browns at home it's going to be a good Browns football team the biggest question with Cleveland can Deshawn Watson finally put it together that trade and contract extension has been a disaster for Cleveland it's pretty telling how good the offense looked last year with Joe Flaco how bad it looked prior to that with DeShaun Watson before that shoulder injury and shoulder surgery I think the Browns are going to be a good club Jim SCH Schwarz as their defensive coordinator great defense last year but they're not on par with Philadelphia week seven Eagles hit the road MetLife Stadium New Jersey to take on the Giants saquin Barkley runs wild that Giants team could have a top five pick in April's NFL draft week 18 or week eight excuse me not at week 18 yet Chase Eagles hit the road to take on the Cincinnati Bengals I'm going to go with the loss here you're going up against a Joe burrow lead passing attack when he is healthy that offense is really difficult to stop Jamar Chase T Higgins they could pose some problems for that eagle secondary and when you go on the road and lose against Cincinnati an AFC Contender it's not a bad bad loss by any means this game is close difficult game to win on the Eagles hit the road to play the Dallas Cowboys they have struggled against Dallas at AT&T stadium in Arlington Dak Prescott has performed pretty well against Philadelphia the regular season the Eagles do lose this game but then they come back week 11 against the commanders at home Lincoln Financial Field and I think the commanders can be feisty Dan Quinn has always had competitive teams I think Jaden Daniels is going to be able to put up crazy numbers this year I do worry about their offensive line I worry about some of the skill position players the defense has a lot of new faces but they're good in the trenches and I think the commanders are going to pose some difficult tests for teams not expecting it across the NFL this year but the Eagles were able to pull out a victory in this game week 12 on the road against the Los Angeles Rams another NFC bout between two heavyweights in the conference this year I think the Rams are going to be really good they ended last year winning seven of their last eight games nearly beat the lions in the Wild Card round but Philadelphia like they did last year they go on the road Sofi Stadium G to be littered with midnight green as e equel fans take over that Stadium Philadelphia dub week 13 Eagles on the road once again but they do come to the east coast going to be a weird and wonky travel schedule here you go from Philadelphia La back to Philly and then a short drive I would imagine to Baltimore short trip regardless but that Ravens team Smashmouth physical Lamar Jackson so difficult to defend especially in the regular season and I think that defense and that offense could cause some problems for Philadelphia in this I 95 matchup record after 13 weeks for the birds is eight and four going into this final stretch and this final stretch includes a lot of winnable games for Philadelphia that's a good sign for the Eagles as they look ahead to the playoffs at this point of the season week 14 against the Panthers easy win I was looking at the Panthers over under wi total while I while I was in Las Vegas over the weekend I'm smashing the under on that I do think Dave can Alice can help out Bryce young a little bit but I think the Panthers are going to be a bad football team I think it's under five five and a half week 15 I always love the Pennsylvania state rivalry game we don't get this enough and the Pittsburgh Steelers are going to come to town and they're going to get whooped by Philadelphia that defense is going to be really good but when you have Russell Wilson and Justin Fields is your quarterback options in 2024 you're in purgatory week 16 Eagles hit the road to play the commanders in Landover Maryland I think the Eagles sweep the commanders just by way of having more Talent here but these games could be dicey week 17 against the Cowboys Eagles lost the first one on the road against Dallas in my eyes but they come back home and when they need to get it this could be for the NFC East Philadelphia comes through with the clutch Victory and then week 18 the Eagles round out the regular season at home against the New York Giants at this point I think the Giants are looking ahead to finding a new franchise quarterback they know that Daniel Jones isn't the answer I think they've known that over the last year and change but the Giants at this juncture will realize let's tank for some draft picks let's tank for a higher pick in the first round and let's get our quarterback of the future so my final Eagles record prediction is 13 and4 which should put Philadelphia in play to get HomeField Advantage at Lincoln Financial Field as the number one seed I think Detroit San Francisco Green Bay Los Angeles Dallas all those teams could be in the mix and what is going to be a wide openen NFC and very very competitive and here's why I have the eagles with that good of a record I think Philadelphia is a loaded team much better coordinator so they're going to be better coached easy back half of the schedule is going to allow them to rack up some wins late in the year they're playing in a division that's absolutely winnable and I'm confident that a bounceback is
