Reacting to Packers PFF Grades vs Eagles!!

so obviously right now the Jordan love injury is taking the Limelight but the Packers still lost the game they're still 0 and one and moving forward we're all kind of wondering what the quarterback situation is going to look like for the next coming weeks but the game was still played so of course we got to go and break down the PFF stats the PFF grades so that's exactly what we're going to do in today's video powered by bet us more on that later break down all the PFF stats also see all the linemen that allow the most pressures what defensive players got the most pressures what defensive backs allowed the most receptions right PFF is subjective in terms of the grades we all know that it's not the end all be all doesn't necessarily mean one player is better than the other one team is better than the other but added context is nice like I said being able to see pressures allowed pressures on the defense receptions allowed those are stats you don't get in the Box Score so that's why I like taking a look at the PFF grades after every single game and that what we do and today we're starting the series back up for the regular season let's take a look at these PFF grades Eagles week span but obviously it's kind of hard to tell uh in between there so it's like okay will the Green Bay Packers still have a chance to make the playoffs but there is a line still up and it's the Green Bay Packers winning the NFC North at plus 500 so now they're below the Chicago Bears which just hurts to say because the Chicago Bears haven't played a game but this is simply just because Jordan love is out a minimum of two weeks but it could be just a twoe Thing versus the Colts and then versus the Titans and then maybe he's back week four versus the Vikings that's wishful thinking and I'm hoping that's the case and if that is the case I like these odds I think the Packers could theoretically go out here with a backup quarterback win one of these games maybe start the season one Let's dive down into the PFF grades and I have yet to look at them I haven't seen a single grade by the Green Bay pack I did this in the last PFF video and lot of you like that that I'm kind of live reacting to the grades as well you can see the team grades here overall the Packers so far through four teams lowest graded overall team lowest graded defense that's no shock there some of the players I wrote down that I think are going to be the highest graded on offense and defense on offense jayen Reed I think that's obvious I think Zack Tom also had a wonderful game and then Emanuel Wilson very efficient on defense I think the highest graded players Xavier mckenny you know excellent game I think Javon Bullard uh he might not be the highest but I think he's going to be up there and then also Eric Stokes you know quietly had a really nice game in my opinion so let's dive right into it we're going to start with the offense and let's see who it is Zack Tom Jaden re and Elton Jenkins Emanuel Wilson was fourth okay so really close uh I I didn't see much of Elton Jenkins which I guess is is a good thing right when you don't see the linemen usually that means they had a good game he also played I think a Snap A Center on that last play after Josh Meers got hurt which hopefully we get an update on that soon kind of feel bad for the guy like everyone's talking about Jordan love and worried about Jordan love and I haven't seen like one person talk about Josh Myers who also injured himself on that play Zack Tom with a 92.0 and a 93.2 run block 85.0 pass block man this guy just keeps getting better and better and I thought he had a great game but I wasn't expecting a 92.0 Jaden Reed I mean you expect this I I I honestly shocked he's not number one I guess Zack Tom just had such a wonderful game but Jaden Reed obviously you know our best wide receiver in this game by far and already our first 100 yard wide receiver where last year it took till like week 15 or 16 and it was Bo Melton we already got it week one um maybe we won't have it in the next couple weeks without Jordan love at the helm but we'll see Jaden Reed an 89.2 Elton Jenkins 78.4 Emanuel Wilson 69.8 uh that checks out Jordan Morgan nice okay so Jordan Morgan he said he played tackle we'll look at the snap counts um when we go into blocking to see exactly where he played I thought he played mainly guard I didn't see him play tackle at all um which is something we should talk about because Rasheed Walker had a pretty bad game he's he's right in the middle of the pack here but I'm willing to bet he allowed a lot of pressures but Jordan Morgan 28 total snaps honestly didn't expect him to get that many snaps in this game but he played well and played better than Shawn Ryan down here who had saw 42 snaps um 59.8 so Jordan love 64.6 obviously we know it wasn't Jordan Love's best game there was a lot of drops by the wide receivers the field was horrible I counted about 12 times Jordan love was slipping at the back of his drop and that's going to affect your Rhythm that's going to affect your your throwing 100% you know he's going to hop a lot rather than planting his feet and and firing a ball where he wants to it's going to affect your accuracy and it did Josh Jacobs 64.4 started slow but really heated it up later in that game Romeo dobs 63.8 we see Rasheed Walker a 60.9 we already kind of talked about him Ben Sims saw one snap kind of you know surprising considering he's our third tight end so really didn't use you know our third tight end too much sha Ryan 42 snaps 59.8 uh better pass blocking than run blocking Christian Watson although had a touchdown not a great grade 59.6 Bo Melton 56.2 shocky is this low of a grade because you know eight snaps I saw him make a couple nice plays including I believe a run block and then of course diving on the fumble of Josh Jacobs that's got to count for something right Tucker craft uh was tight end one this is interesting because I saw the snap counts yesterday Tucker craft had 64 snaps where Luke Musgrave had 17 like if this was the other way around you'd be like all right it makes sense because Tucker craft was on the injur report all week but this is telling guys I don't know if it was just a scheme thing against the Eagles defense where they just wanted Tucker craft more but that's that's a wild difference it's not even close 64 snaps to 17 man Luke Musgrave barely played I I don't know why uh it's a little concerning and he was one of the lowest graded players basically the lowest graded player because Malik Willis had only two snaps so I'm not even going to really count that so that's concerning and then of course taay Wix I mean it sucks it sucks for him to have this bad of a game after boasting all offseason about this guy he's goingon to turn it around again kind of similar to Devonte Adams I don't want to make the comparison so many times but Devonte Adams you know early on in his career had games just like this with two three drops and look what happened weirdly it's it's so similar uh 44 grade for Tay Wix I think he had like three drops and Josh Meers not a good game 50.1 so let's now go into the blocking and we can sort it by pressures and yep Rasheed Walker at the top with four pressures allowed in one sa not a good game for Rasheed Walker also two penalties um played all snaps at left tackle hopefully he can turn this thing around and if this continues week after week after week maybe the conversation starts of Jordan Morgan at left tackle Josh Meers allowed two pressures Josh Jacobs a lowed of pressure Jordan Morgan and Shawn Ryan each allowed a pressure so Jordan Morgan played All Right Guard so I don't know why it's oh guess cuz PFF just has him as a tackle um which is weird cuz he hasn't really played any tackle for us other than I think rookie mini camp OTAs so he's definitely a guard right now but I guess he's considered a tackle via PFF Shawn Ryan all at Right Guard or sorry 40 at Right Guard two at left guard um and then down here we have Zack Tom all at right tackle obviously 100% pass blocking efficiency amazing Elton Jenkins mainly left guard but then did play two snaps at center after Josh Myers got hurt all right so now flipping over to the defensive side and wow um wow I I thought I thought Edan Cooper had a great game but I did not expect him to be out here with an 85.9 i i you know what guys I'm not even G to say it's too early to say it he should start he should start he should he and Quay Walker should be two linebackers right if they're in a 4-2 5-2 whatever it may be nickel Edan Cooper Quay Walker I've seen enough and that may be very premature but in those 11 snaps man he stood out more than players that had 60 snaps he really did he really did 85.9 overall defensive grade 72.0 run defense 76.3 tackle he had one stop he had three tackles zero Miss wow getting three tackles and one stop and 11 snaps is impressive Edan Cooper man looked inane out there I did not I expected him to have a high grade maybe in like the 70s but an 85.9 I mean he's probably going to be the highest graded linebacker rookie linebacker in PFF this week Xavier mcken 76.2 uh poor run defense 54 3 which is surprising he was one of the best run defending uh safeties last year 81.2 tackling 76.4 coverage he had three tackles zero missed Eric Stokes so I guess mcken and Stokes I also guess Bullard who is not near the top surprisingly uh we'll get into it but Eric Stokes near the top so it's a good guess 66.7 played 67 snaps had two tackles only one missed we'll go over the receptions allowed right after this Kean Nixon actually a pretty good game and of course had that 92.3 pass rush because that sack on Jaylen Herz he had three total pressures wow I did not did not know that so Jeff Halley definitely sending a lot of nickel pressure which I like I want him to continue to do that although we lost and L up you know what 34 points still want to continue with the pressure you can't get away from that Lucas vaness only 19 snaps uh where I think Kingsley and abbar yeah 30 snaps but near the bottom so this should flip you know Lucas van should get more snaps than Kingsley andbar I don't know why it was the other way around to begin with 65.3 he had a pressure and two tackles Carrington Valentine only saw nine snaps uh I didn't notice him out there at all but he didn't get targeted at all so that makes sense Eric Wilson 62.4 Preston Smith 61.1 with a pressure ran Gary 59.5 three pressures in a sack like how is that 50 he didn't miss a tackle either how is that 59.5 three pressures in a sack two hurries three tackles or sorry three assisted tackles not actual tackles zero misses how is that how was that a 59.5 how was that below average I I don't get it Quay Walker 59.0 um Monte Wyatt 55.0 not a great game by interior lineman at all Jer 52.1 we know it was an up and down game for Jer and yeah that that penalty is going to be attributed to this grade even though that was not a penalty Javon Bullard really shocked by this one 46.1 this one does surprise me saw all defensive snaps started the entire game and we didn't see any Evan Williams that kind of surprised me a little bit 77.4 run defense so good in that regard but really bad in coverage I guess they're attributing him to the AJ Brown touchdown that out and up where it seemed like Jer th he had safety help and it it didn't really work out that way maybe they're attributing that touchdown we'll see if they do if they attribute it to Javon Bullard or Zer TJ Slayton not a great game 42.7 Carl Brooks not a good game 42.4 ENB Kenny Clark and Isaiah McDuffy all the way down the bottom like I I thought a m Duffy had a pretty bad game and there's a couple players you're like okay you see it a little bit I didn't think he'd be the lowest graded player by this far 35.7 and then you see on the opposite side Edan Cooper 85.9 yeah yeah even though it's just one game you got to make this switch at this point you just have to make this switch I thought it would be Eric Wilson the first one out in terms of Edan Cooper coming in but I know it's just one game and it's just one game but man you can't look at this and be like I don't want to see edrian Cooper on the field like you want to see more of them on the field so hopefully that happens let me know in the comments I'm sure everyone agrees so now let's look at coverage and we're going to sort it by receptions allowed so Quay Walker allowed four receptions on six targets uh for 23 yards not terrible kesan Nixon four receptions on five targets for 45 yards Jer man uh four receptions on six targets for 108 and he they did attribute the touchdown to him so they gave the touchdown to Jer not Javon Bullard uh Bullard allowed three receptions on three targets for 44 yards so that's why he is the low coverage grade Isaiah McDuffy uh three Targets on or sorry two receptions on three targets Eric Stokes allowed two on three but only for 21 yards and Xavier mckenny only allowed one reception on one target for eight yards and of course had that interception to begin the game it just gets even better you sort it by special teams and Edan Cooper's at the top it's only seven snaps but he had a tackle and he was the highest graded special teamer as well Edan Cooper had the highest defense grade and special team grade that is insane yeah this guy needs to be on the field like whether it's special teams whether it's honestly put him on offense at this point but yeah seriously guys he needs to play so those are all the PFF grades from week one Packers versus Eagles in Brazil man uh just an unfortunate game overall like even if Jordan love didn't get hurt we'd still be sitting here saying what an unfortunate game and it just gets worse considering you know it's an MCL sprain it's not it's not the worst news could have been a lot worse it could have been a lot lot worse and it seems like it's in between a grade one and two and I've seen players like Aaron Jones come back from a grade two in one to two weeks so I'm not saying it's going to happen that way but quarterbacks you know technically can play through that type of injury if it's not that severe I don't want him to do that and Reiner him self and then be out the whole year uh but I don't necessarily think he needs six weeks obviously it's a case-by case basis I know some people are are like oh it's four to six weeks in my opinion it's a bigger span it's like two to six weeks due to the data I've looked up and I know it's different because I'm looking at different players and their running backs and whatnot but MCL Springs happen a lot in the NFL and it's not just like an automatic like oh you're out for six weeks so hopefully it's more on the side of two weeks and we can somehow split these next two games maybe Malik Willis you know gets a Revenge game against the Titans there in week three and we lose here in week two I don't know we'll see maybe the Packers bring in Ryan tanel not sure if they're going to do that I think they're just going to roll with Willis but we'll see what happens but I appreciate you guys coming by to the video um I'm leaving for Iceland today Sunday so I'm gonna be going for the next week so I
