Week 2 Waiver Wire Pickups (MUST ADD) | 2024 Fantasy Football

stream of the Season we did a lot of large scale stuff ahead of the very exciting fantasy football season I am not alone I had a guest last week I've got another one this week and for those of you who are in the Discord I kind of broke this news earlier today I am with Wally Lucas shinsky who is an employee of ESPN Radio in beaverdam Wisconsin one of my co-workers and we are launching a Daily Show where we will be talking lots of football more local stuff kind of of the Wisconsin variety beaverdam variety uh but we'll Branch out too this is about fantasy though and Wally I am very happy to have you on here considering you and I have had a day I greatly appreciate you taking time out of your busy schedule my man well absolutely I was fired up to get the invite and yeah dude we had a day so so bear with me here if you catch me yawning or playing with the eyes for a minute so so you're the man Cory appreciate you having me yeah we're going to try and uh snap out of this as as quick as possible but yeah it has definitely been a day oh waivers something that got a lot of traction on this channel when I started it a couple years ago you know this is an opportunity for people who maybe aren't very happy with their drafts who are owners of Christian mcaffrey puka AA to kind of find the backup plan and typically in most of those League formats you do have individuals who are getting the priority if they are 0 And1 so if you're 0 And1 you're probably going to be able to jump on a lot of these names Wally and I said a couple of ground rules majority if not all of these players right now should be owned in 50% of leagues or less if you're playing on ESPN CBS NFL my Miss sleeper um they should be 50% % or less there might be some slight deviation there and you see the graphic have I believe 11 or 12 waiver wire pickup options there is no possible way they are all taken so stay tuned for the whole live stream Mr lukash shinsky take it away to start with somebody that maybe with the snap percentage it doesn't feel like a guy you want to go after but Emanuel Wilson for the Green Bay Packers last week only played about a quarter of those offensive snaps like I minded or said before Malik Willis is now going to be the quarterback what happens when you have young quarterbacks young backup quarterbacks backs like that you have dump Downs you have a more of an emphasis on the running game and he was a great change of pain uh Pace back this last week yeah four carries for what 46 yards he had three more targets I know he only caught two for two yards but the volume's there you see those three targets I'm expecting an uptick here from him this next week or so a lot of lot of things have rolled in Emanuel Wilson's favor a AJ Dylan unfortunately being down for likely the entirety of the Season Wilson jumps his spot there's no Patrick Taylor I learned he was a 49er yesterday as I was desperately digging through their depth chart realizing Christian mcaffry would not be playing football an hour before kickoff although Jordan Mason knew on Friday that's a whole other thing um but a lot of like favorable bounces for Emanuel Wilson truthers and people who want to see him get opportunity because then Jordan Love Goes Down And if you watched any of that Tennessee off the last couple of years since they took him out of Liberty in the third round he was run run and run some more I pulled this stat around the office a lot I pulled it in my certain friend groups Malik Willis has completed 35 more passes in his career than you and me Wally like he hasn't done a whole lot from a passing perspective now that does mean we might see a lot of read option looks we saw it with Derrick Henry Emanuel Wilson is no Derrick Henry but the Packers are extra screwed if they drive Josh Jacobs into the ground so he's not going to get 30 35 touches the secondary back in Wilson especially in 2024 is going to be utilized in some capacity I really like the volume there the Colts front is tough but they got into a pretty high-scoring battle against the Texans 2927 this last week I think Emanuel Wilson you know in your eight or 10 team leagues he's a stash but in your 12 or expanded roster he could play like there's a chance we look at the fantasy guidelines on the right side of the screen here availability he's healthy opportunity he should get more of it and what was he last week he was productive you said four for 46 right yeah that's right four for 46 yeah and here's the thing too is that like you talk about I know you love bringing up the lightning and thunder duel kind of running back Styles and I know that his 40 time doesn't jump out of you but he's football fast he's a guy that hits the hole very quick and he doesn't run as physically as Josh Jacobs does this last week they love to get him on the perimeter and again with Malik Willis this is going to be an offense that is going to be between the sticks this isn't going to be vertical I know he's got a big arm but they're going to try to keep him from those Nathan Peterman games those games with three or four turnovers this is a Packers team that's going to play very vanilla I would say trying to win a game ugly and try to delay and keep Jordan love from rushing back so again deeper leagues for sure I think this is a great play up to three likes on the stream already folks if we could get up to five real quick would greatly appreciate it I'm Cory this is armer fan football we do have Wally lashinsky a fellow ESPN Radio in Wisconsin voice on with us we are kicking off week two waivers with Emanuel Wilson lots of opportunity on a Packers team that he as you just said and I love it because you took the words right out of my mouth they're likely going to want to play an ugly football game if it's 19 to 17 honestly regardless of the outcome the Packers are happy because that means they didn't make a lot of mistakes the defense played a hell of a lot better than they did a week ago and they probably moved the ball decent amount I think this team would be happy with 17 or 20 points they are trying to minimize mistakes up to four likes thank you guys very much we will go under Center out of the gun kind of depends on how they're playing it regardless of what he did last week he was phenomenal I'm talking about Baker Mayfield somebody who was own in 133% of Rost or in 13% of leagues at least in sleeper it was around that same value you're a baker truther as well um as someone who lived in the Cleveland area for a while Baker went for 289 passing yards 4 touchdowns he feted the commander defense I will say I liked that play for week one specifically going into it because if you look at 2023 stats the commanders allowed the most amount of passing yards per game by a wide margin so he had a favorable matchup he was going up against a rookie quarterback who honestly played pretty well so I like Baker because of the productivity last year coming off of a career year across all fronts first 4,000 yard season for him but I also like Baker because of the pieces around him you have quite arguably the most reliable one-w punch in the league not the most talented but the most reliable first 10 seasons of Mike Evans career thousand yards across the board every single time four of the last five years you asked me this a few days ago why do you like Chris Godwin so much kind of the same reason for the last 5 years a thousand yard receiver he's not going to get you 30 points but he sure as hell won't get you less than seven or six his basement is like eight or nine in a PPR format which you know as someone who has owned Gabe Davis in the past and many of you have gone on that same train you appreciate consistency now with that consistency someone's got to throw him the ball the Buccaneers offense looks phenomenal and they have one of the best checkdown guys in the entire league in Rashad white he's coming off a 60 plus Target year he flexed that muscle again in week one weak matchup in the first week but longterm Baker Jared gof could be put there too he's owning a few more leagues he's a sleeper for me okay maybe there's a little volatility with Baker Mayfield but you have a guy that is hellbent on throwing the football throwing the ball downfield yeah you're occasionally going to have that 180 yard like three interception game yeah but those are sprinkled in as much with those 280 yard three touchdown games and the guy loves to throw the ball downfield he's a competitor and you get I I got to give you credit because when we started talking about Chris Godwin a few days ago I had been in that camp of man I I don't see what everybody else sees and then you kind of started laying it out I did a deep dive into his box uh score history here and it's just like another guy that's just a pillar of consistency that I don't know where I've got this idea that he misses more time than he does yeah this is going to be a fun offense I guess the biggest question for me with Baker Mayfield I'd love to hear your take is lose Dave Canalis who has become sort of the quarterback Whisperer with Gino Smith to Baker Mayfield Akers on like his 900th offensive coordinator since he started the league do that not concern you at all a little I do want to go back to I think it was year three Kevin stefansky he looked phenomenal there right it was towards the end Baker had one good year and then kind of you know fluttered out and stf's worked his magic in a lot of different situations yeah he did get hurt yep and and a lot of people do believe that Cleveland screwed him and now they they're paying a lot more money for someone who is playing much much worse I'm not sure yeah you pull that aspect out of the scheme the big thing with the Bucks too the last like four or five years even to the you know last couple of years of Tom Brady's career they love to throw the ball like last couple of years you talk about the Ravens Eagles even the Bears with Justin Fields being some of the most run heavy teams in the league the Chiefs and right up there with them at least in pass play percentage how often they're throwing it they've been up there and that did not change when they transitioned from Tom Brady to you people will rip me apart for comps like this but play style it's very similar I would call him the modern day Brett Favre he is a gunslinger he is going to have 180 passing yards and three turnovers and he's not going to bat an eye and Canales is going to let him throw the ball 35 times next week that that is the confidence they have in Baker that's the confidence baker has in himself and barring the tools around him changing in the near future cuz Mike Evans is 30 31 years old I don't want to go away from him he's he's one of those guys you lay back draft season's over but again he's on waivers if you're not really prioritizing quarterback in the first couple rounds and you don't care about rushing upside he is going to put together 12 to 14 decent weeks and that's all you need one of the big problems with me in life is that I'm kind of a quarterback reject Hunter I'm a Raiders fan so naturally it's kind of what I do is I look for the retread guy that there's something in there they might not see it but I do and the reason I say that is because he's similar but very different to a guy that I would have put on if I put a quarterback in Derek Carr or Derek Carr everything's going right if everything's going perfectly for them he is a fantasy dream oh yeah he gets rattled in big situations Baker Mayfield doesn't have that skittishness that you feel like you get with a lot of quarterbacks to your point he throws three interceptions he is Brett favish where he doesn't care he says give me the ball Todd Bulls let's go back after we're going to go down the field you can't teach that and I want that guy on my team so as a fantasy sleeper I was fighting you for it I was like you know what I'll let Cory have this one but I'm right there with you Baker's a home run for week two yeah we got a couple and really just for the foreseeable future you know there's some guys that we're really going to like in the upcoming matchups I have a defense that all of you should be pouncing on right now because they're going up against I don't want to tip my hand here they're going to be at the end but one of the worst teams in football that we've seen in a while but I I do want to say that some of these are long-term moves and I would say baker is one do also want to shout out the people in the live chat we have cap for life in there with a couple questions we also have Josh Hoffner Fitness I believe you know who that is right my man Pittsburgh if he has any questions at all Josh if you got anything throw it at us and we will field it uh cap for life has a couple so we're g to grade the trade here I like it that's a good name for a segment um just traded CJ Stroud and Devin Singletary coming off a lackluster performance on a lackluster team uh for Josh Allen and Michael Pitman grade the trade so I like to go lateral I'll kind of kick us off and Wally if you have push back please provide it that's why there's two people on this live stream Stroud to Allen I'm giving a decent nod to Al I think Stroud's top five I drafted him in a couple leags Allen has the rushing upside and Allen's going to have to utilize the rushing upside as he did in week one due to the lack of weapons around him these first four or five weeks he's going to have to utilize those legs until he really figures out until we figure out how good is khil Shakir how good is Keon Coleman is dson concade really the number one option is the tight end is this going to be that type of offense until we figure that out we're going to have to rely on what we do know and that's that Josh Allen knows how to run the ball specifically inside the five uh so I'm going to go slight upgrade there and then single t for Pitman if you are getting just traded CJ STR on single ter okay you got Josh Allen and Michael Pitman likely in a PPR format clarify if not I think you upgraded on both fronts my man I I don't know if this is a fleece but it's kind of close because pitman's the wide receiver one in an offense that you know Anthony Richardson is going to need to throw the ball a little bit more he had nine completions but those were nine awesome completions so I I think you upgraded on both fronts I guess if I'm gonna push back I'd call it almost a draw right now at quarterback just because with Josh Allen I felt like that first what 20 25 minutes of that game in week one against I was panicked Arizona was not a team that I was a believer in I'll hand up I'll tell you that so that was more of a is this Arizona being better than I thought they were or holy hell is Buffalo going to take more of a step back on both sides of the ball than we ever saw coming and that'll affect the offense too if the defense can't get off the field so that would be the closest one but otherwise man Michael pitman's got to be the Deep ball threat and I don't want to spoil too much of these waiver wire things but that passing game I'm kind of excited to watch develop in Indianapolis I do see eight of you on the live stream right now if we could get up to 10 likes we're already up to five would greatly handcuff someone or make two moves might want to clarify in that cap for life I'm not going to lie to you 14 team PPR thank you a lot of the waivers that we're about to go over are in there so you can kind of make your pick from our cases but I am I'm not dodging your question we're going to go through the next couple and and you mentioned some so I like some more than others uh Cosmic limbo's in here saying do I trade Reed and Brian oh this was in the Discord chat thank you do I trade Jaden Reed so you know not a ton of productiveness that we're expecting unless they use him like Debo in the next couple weeks with Malik Willis back there and Brian Thomas Jr coming off a phenomenal week for Drake London or should I just keep them I would play the long game personally uh Jaden Reed the fact that the Packers are not willing to rule out Jordan love this week tells me he's not gone more than two to three weeks the the the window is two to five 3 to6 he won't be gone for all of October so when it really starts to matter down the stretch I think Jaden Reed a good play and Brian Thomas Jr just had a great great day so if you are trying to do the sell High strategy on Thomas Jr you should be getting more than Drake London in my opinion I don't know if you've got any uh any other angle on that Wally I will go as far to say that there's a reason after Marvin Harrison Jr after Malik neighbors ran Thomas's name was the first one out of plenty of GM's mouth this entire off season true he's going to be a great fit with Trevor that touchdown ball that you saw Trevor Lawrence it was I mean I I've been losing faith in Trevor Lawrence but it was a beautiful ball and it was a it was a veteran receiver move too he saw that thing out of the hands he hadn't even broke the goal line catch it at the back of the end zone I think Brian Thomas has a chance to be a League winner kind of guy this year that you snuck out probably in the seventh eighth round of a draft I'm pretty high on him because of the status of that receiving core too so we've got looking at the live poll by the way 62% of you what was the question Corey is JK Dobbins available in your leagues he's not okay people are snatching him um oh my goodness I just lost my train of thought oh Brian Thomas um so I liked Gabe Davis coming into this because that team lost Kelvin Ridley and they lost Z Jones so north of 120 targets I've been saying that number a lot that's a lot for a Duo especially considering Z Jones only played a decent clump of games uh Gabe Davis comes in and Essen fills in for Jones and Ridley but all of a sudden like you said the first wide receiver to go off the board after those two Blockbuster names was him maybe he sneaks in because Gabe Davis is more of a vertical route guy he's going to get you 20 or he's going to get you two so if you like upside but consistency is uh not your Vibe and you like heart attacks sure like I am higher on Gabe Davis this year but maybe it's someone who has all the tools like Brian I mean like you said he had a phenomenal week made a veteran move so I like that a lot um going back to cap for life oh still talking about the trade yes we will go over a lot of those uh Cosmic lumbo saying I already have lamb Wilson Godwin Wadd as my other receivers and it's a 10-man league okay so you're looking to consolidate and kind of upgrade and Buy Low on Drake London if you are going to do that you should still get more because the long read with Jaden Reed the long game with Jaden Reed says he is going to be great all year he is a versatile option in in an offense that is wide open when it comes to the wide receiver one um and Brian Thomas Jr just broke out so if you're trying to do the two for one upgrade honestly I think you could push for like Fringe top 10 and maybe that's what Drake London was valued at but because he's lower you stack someone with London or you swing for the fences you you could get a Mike Evans or Chris Godwin and then someone else if you're not too happy about London's week one performance uh big homie t314 says THS on Mike aiki kind of neutral I don't want to react too much to one player based off of one week um not the best situation but yeah I I would say if you want to do a trade bait type deal that's fine but same with Isaiah likely like with his performance which was very good I'm not ready to declare okay um yes this is the future maybe he is this is the better tight end in 2024 and I'm going to invest in him and ditch Mark Anders to the same front I'm not going to make a decision based off one week with somebody like Mike aiki so that's kind of my take there I don't want to overreact to one week either but coming off a wrist injury that people like smarter than us doctors are like dudes don't come back from this I'm reluctant to buy too much stock in the Cincinnati offense yeah until we see them out of this September Funk right that we're used to seeing them in now I mean we we saw Joe Burl struggling with the the RIS the other day nonstop I I just man that's a a worry for me so anybody associated with with that right now I'm I'm steering clear from and historically the Bengals haven't utilized their tight ends a whole lot I don't have the numbers off hands but they haven't had I know they had Hayden Hurst for a little bit they haven't had top 10 guys I would venture to say that more often than not the last few years they haven't had top 15 I'll grab I'll gladly be proven wrong um but yeah djama was right on that line yeah so he had he had a good couple of years and and I think um especially the year they went all the way and and lost but they just don't utilize them and and over the years years could you really blame them they had Jamar Chase they had T Higgins Tyler Boyd is now gone he's in Tennessee uh yeah I mean three receptions for 18 yards I've got it up here now it's weird to like rely on how teams have performed at certain parts of the year but the September Bengals have been such an enigma for what is this year three or four now I honestly want nothing to do with it so I agree with you I'm staying far away I'm not taking flyers on certain tight ends I'm not buying low um I wouldn't make any crazy conclusions about mik aiki but the the September pattern is interesting that you brought that up because I do agree with it yeah it's again until we know that wrist is fine and I'm praying it is Joe Bro is one of my favorite players in football but I've got doomsday brain you see the Ohio stuff behind me but like I I've got a soft spot in my heart for the Bengals and man I hope I'm wrong I just I'm not buying stock right now yeah and I can't blame you so you had Emanuel Wilson for those of you just joining this is the week two waivers live stream we are kind of interrupting it a little bit to answer some of your question questions those take precedent I've got about six as does wall uh just straight up waiver options that you can pickups Jordan Mason ISAC gendo because I'm like okay and then brillan Allen I figured Bree Hall would have a larger um I figured he'd have a larger proportion of the rushes out of that back field than Jordan Mason and I literally on live stream said Jordan Mason should not be touching the ball 25 times and Shanahan told me to stuff it I mean logically and again I could go into this now Jordan Mason was claiming that he knew on Friday he was the starter logically if you find someone regardless of position that finds out they are the starter in something an hour before the game and they're Supporting Cast they're they're probably not going to be the conclusive starter so I I was thinking they'd go running back by committee they'll use use check a little bit they did um so that is completely my fault can't smell anything I was reading the situation and I I swung and missed uh but we have I only have Chase Brown Starting and Bucky Irving Bucky actually had a pretty efficient day Brown more involved in the pass catching game but not much uh Zach Moss pleasant surprise who do I waiver we've got Justice Hill um Alexander Madison coming off that touchdown down reception for the Raiders or tank Bigsby is it even worth it help uh hero RB failed me so far all right I'm going to comb through these next two and then we will keep going through our waivers because these answer a lot of your questions we will burn through them they will make sense I promise um Cosmic limbo says thank you not going to lie the league mates haven't been so keen on the upside of Reed and Brian for guys like Mike Evans and such but I'll yeah I stick to your guns it's been one week if they're not willing to make a reasonable deal with you revisit it in a couple weeks you'll have more data to go off of Bryce long says Burl or Fields rest of season 1,00% Joe burrow it is only up from here they suck in September in fields with how much he's being paid compared to Russell Wilson I would just say uh not likely going to be the starter for the rest of the year he held the fourt down but the only reason he was playing is because Russ was down all right you went with Emanuel Wilson I went with Baker Mayfield we will go back to you so I kind of lost a little bit of steam because of our poll question not doing the the numbers I was hoping for because the next one it's probably a better for a 10 Team league JK Dobbins yeah Jim Harbaugh loves this guy and he goes back all the way to Ohio State Michigan he got to see them every single year not a big deal dominate those Michigan teams not a big deal but dominated them but I mean he his problem is he can't stay healthy this is his fifth year in the league he's played 25 games so you're betting on him staying healthy but if you do in this offensive line did you see Joe Al delete great nickname for a lineman I've ever seen in my entire life Max Crosby had a couple big plays again Die Hard Raider fan I was pulling for it but man Joe Al ran Slater together on an offensive line and the fact that Gus Edwards I mean l kind of looked lost he had 11 carries for 26 yards to Josh uh or JK dolins 10 for 135 and he also had three catches on three targets only the four yards but you know he's going to be U Iz so this is just a guy with how high his football Acumen is if you can get past the fact that he runs like a 75y old woman now he is going to always find the holes he has that football AC he has the vision he's smart he's a Jim Harbaugh kind of football player I'm Allin it just sounds like unfortunately quite a few of these people's leagues they're also finding people who are all in on JK Dobbins into that let me know if you disagree with this wall I wouldn't go as far as to trade for JK Dobbins for two reasons one his stock is high so you are getting arguably the most expensive JK Dobbins we've seen since his rookie year and B if you give up anything of significance for one of the most injury prone running backs following a warning on this channel consider this a warning you're going to be uh you're going to be kicking yourself for it there is an extremely high risk factor there unfortunately 62% of you are saying he's not available then drop it I even if JK Dobbins has four great games I'm sorry he's played before this last week nine games in three years I extremely cautious with him I'm a baby when it comes to this stuff you know this as well Wally and the listeners here know this too I am scared to draft Christian mcaffrey I am scared beyond belief of Cooper cup I am I have not even considered JK Dobbins since 2021 before the season it's it's tough to watch it was awesome to see that he was able to break away even though he got chased down a couple times but even in that run heavy offense I'd be scared to trade for him if he's free he's free he's probably worth the worst player on your bench do the swap but yeah I'm not doing that um just making sure we're not oh white from Vegas is a head scratcher zamir we'll get to that we will get to that uh because uh Madison was brought up in the comments as well I'm going to shift over to I'm actually going to Jumble up the order because he's been brought up in like comments now uh go get Justice Hill if Justice Hill is on your waiver wire unless you are in like an eight teamer or a six teamer or some exotic like smaller roster format league go get Justice Hill uh we brought up the term or the phrase the Thunder to someone else's lightning and vice versa go get Justice L like he he has so much pass catching upside and Derrick Henry doesn't Derk Henry is ground and pound we've heard suspicions that Derrick Henry might be shut down until November again this is a 30-year-old run running back and a team that has prioritized the run more than anybody else over the course of The Last 5 Years specifically last season they were using the read option with Lamar to Perfection Justice Hill has had pass catching upside in the past but he has also worked behind a variety of different running backs in the past Gus the bus has had a little bit of pass catching upside the variety of guys in front of him JK Dobbins went healthy you just said it has had pass catching upside Derk Henry is one of those few left of a Dying Breed who is just just going to go up the middle and kill you four and five yards at a time Justice Hill has a completely different skill set and that's why he had such a high snap count six receptions eight targets 52 yards he had 11 points in a pass catching capacity in a PPR format alone I could care less if he gets no rushes if he continues to get that type of output I'm only going to get higher so on Justice Hill so I know that he was on a couple lists I'm prioritizing him almost over anybody else I've seen over dorch over Alec Pierce I am very high on Justice Hill because of the Persona that he is or I guess because of the identity of the Ravens and because of the fact that Derrick Henry is nothing like him that's the thing we just saw this what right after the game this last week Jim Harbaugh almost talking right to the people out there that was hammering Derk Henry over 15 and a half carries in their bets and FanDuel but he went out right away and said that's not who we want Derek R to be want to protect him for the postseason we don't care about postseason in fantasy football we care about up until right around that beginning of December Mark and until that point Justice Hill is going to be heavily involved in two your point eight Targets in week one yeah why is that going to go down the way we've seen Lamar Jackson and that offense play talk about being inside 15 20 yards up the field that's going to be a very underneath the uh What uh the safey kind of off Justice Hill man if you can find him that's the key everybody's going to have a waiver claim in for him this week and the cool thing about the diversification of skill sets is if Justice Hill is such a good pass Catcher And proves to be so oh also I found something the other day Justice Hill had 38 39 receptions last year and he was like the rb3 at one point the career high for Derrick Henry as the guy for the last few years is 41 so Justice Hill has been an rb3 has had just as much passing involvement or pass catching involv as Derrick Henry in a way smaller capacity now he's the two and if they have different skill sets why would they be on the field at different times harbach's going to throw some weird looks at teams that is one of the best teams over the course of the last few years that giving you exotic run looks that makes a lot of sense to me um we've got someone saying oh the C for life is saying think smart use your heart don't let your gut kick you in the butt that's a pretty good Mantra not going to lie uh but yeah very high on Justice Hill I will pass it back to you Wally so we got to stick with I guess a Raider here since we we talked about that earlier with Devonte Adams whatever you want to call that he says he's not unhappy but let's read between the lines if the Raiders are not a playoff contending team by middle of October could they be moving on for him if that's the case jacobe Meyers is an outstanding stats play right now to begin with and he's consistent as tell Cory so get a load of this he's had over 800 yards the last three years he's had what AOC throwing him the ball yeah he's had whatever you Trot out there in New England the last few years throwing him the ball he's the model of consistency last year for instance averag about four and a half catches per game 50 yards a game and a half a touchdown a game that's about 12.4 points in a PPR setting with Aiden oconnell throwing him the ball yeah you are a DieHard muu man in schania because of you is happening again even if Adams is there the whole year that's going to probably be the best quarterback he's played with in the last four go a thousand yards just yeah Gard Ru is to go I I can't stand I haven't said that much on this channel so we're going to have to really pull the curtain back on that at some point uh yeah huge Gardener mchu stand like delusional yeah doesn't it feel like a thousand yards isn't out of the the running for a jacobe Myers the way he plays and in a league like where you're picking him up on waivers if you can guarantee somebody 12 and a half points a game you take it especially with the possibility of Adams I'm going to go out on the limb here like you said read between the lines he's not happy if he leaves the nest halfway through the season and Myers is the impromptu one I will say dude Brock Bowers looked phenomenal like for as much as that offense stalled outside of between the 20s he looked like tight end one like for the lead tight end one if they use him enough it's all going to be dependent on frequency uh Jacobi Myers the reason Ren was gone oh my gosh Hunter Renfro that's someone who was a thousand- yard receiver off sure if we're going the Panthers are abysmal again yeah what is the what is a bad offense uh I'm not saying bad quarterback but a quarterback that's on a bad team I we don't know enough about BR sh it I'm not gonna it doesn't look good but what is their those kind of players best friends when it's third and 13 you see that six-yard dump down to a running back and then all of a sudden you look at the box score and you're like wait Hub had seven catches for 42 yards how did that happen you're like wait exactly so if I'm pushing back that would be it but I'm I'm still I'm definitely team Hill I'm I'm with you on it but have to at least provide both sides no 100% I'm just thinking about the wide receiving court it's a bad football team like Wally they might we we have too uh delusional but not delusional but Shameless betters at our workplace who put a bet on who's going to win more games the Titans or theal was the right word yeah I I don't know what the right word is there none of them are really positive they are they sick human beings will Levis and Bryce young might have had the two worst weeks you can argue Caleb but the book's not out on someone in their debut will Lis looked bad um but you know there is Target competition in general I'd push back and say Deontay Johnson Adam theel and Mingo they have some pieces but again are are you really going to trust Bryce young to push the ball vertically when they're down 33 or is he just going to try and build confidence and use somebody like chuba I'm still leaning Hill but I I could see both ways um Jaden Reed f fible with no love Jaden Reed's value is going to go up every minute from this point forward and that was the truth 3 days ago as we get closer and closer to Clarity on when Jordan love is going to come back fantasy owners are going to get more and more patient to go okay Jo you know Jaden Reed is working in a run heavy offense for the next week for the next two weeks but then I have him for the other 14 so Jaden Reed's value is going to rise more and more and more if you're going to buy in on Jaden Reed the best time to do is right now and now and now and now a week from now I don't think the price is going to be very fair again he had a phenomenal week one and then we have Tai in the chat saying 10man full PPR any moves I should make trade-wise we have Jaylen Herz uh Jamir Gibbs Jonathan Taylor Cooper cup Devon Smith Dalton KC Devon aan on the benches tank worthy btj romad dun injury now uh Benson dle alir Korum yeah uh dle I love I I love Rico dle going forward because he's supposed to split carries with Elliot any weaknesses I would see I mean you've got cup Smith aan is your Flex if you want to upgrade on Flex you could in my opinion combine Anan with like tanker worthy and just swing and get like a certified top 10 or 15 guy but you've got some dudes like aan should be fine uh moer didn't get much usage tank had a great day for the most part compared to most people's um expectations and Xavier Worthy is uh very fast so I like it I don't know if there's any holes there to be honest no well and here's the thing too I I've always been a little skeptical of packaging two really good players to go get a superstar because then all of a sudden you're one play away from feeling like your season's over that is a good point so I'm a big aan guy myself where I don't I hate throwing comps to like really really really good players from the past but he has that career Chris Johnson feel if he stays healthy he can be a guy that you're like oh my gosh how in the world was I even talking about moving this guy at the end of October when he's averaging 23 points a week for you in fantasy right so I I'm a hold on to him swing for the fences and just pray he stays healthy every team needs variety and I'm looking at this team we have a rushing upside quarterback so you probably got hurts at the three four turn or somewhere in there uh Gibbs and Taylor you have pass catchers Gibbs more reliable than Taylor from an injury perspective it's only year two cup there's risk but also puka is gone so his value just skyrocketed Devonte Smith low risk you know what you're going to get King Kade not much Target competition then you got your risk play in h hand you've got so many reliable guys that have done it time and time again or haven't given us a reason to doubt him he yeah I like the team a lot it's been one week I would I would chill with it regardless of win or loss would you say to keep Jonathan Brooks um it kind of depends on your league format but again don't love running backs in that situation and then cap for Life saying we were talking about this on fantasy endgame if you guys have the number one waiver and you feel like it's not necessary to make a move you can also wait it out 100% like if you honestly can't convince yourself right away that ah Justice Hill is better than my worst bench player in an eight Team league don't do it like don't do it just because we're giving you a list of 11 guys everyone's situation is different uh don't try and force the hand you know the person with the most transactions is not guaranteed a win in the league so so yeah I definitely agree with that and then we have Charlie n in here half PPR would you pick up makoni or Keon Coleman thanks ooh makoni had a good week uh lad makoni had a good week in Washington Keon Coleman longterm doesn't have a lot of Target comp uh I'm leaning makoni because of the usage and because I am a big game script guy Wall-E I don't see the commanders winning more games than the bills even with how gutted that team is so I could see a lot of games just like week one where Jaden Daniels all of a sudden threw the ball a lot because he kind of had to you know what I mean so I could see like garbage time points for macony whereas Coleman once the bills are in a good spot you lean on Del or Delvin you lean on James Cook and and you go from there I'm leaning makoni a little bit just a little bit well I'm leading makoni too but you are having a Fudan slip of the brain we've all had it before he is in La he is a charger so don't stress about life I had to double check to make sure I wasn't going crazy that we were talking about the same guy but lad mccon with Justin Herbert as a slot with when you have uh what's his face Quenton Johnson on the outside who has the hands that I do holy Freud I do like having yeah so give me a guy that has Justin Herbert throwing him the ball I know that I love Josh Allen he's fantastic from an actual I feel like quarterbacking like passing ability stando point I'm giving the edge to Justin Herbert I'm going to give the edge to that offense with that offensive line so pair him up with my my boy JK Dobbins if you get a chance that's all I'm saying oh wow well thank you for calling me on that because it would have taken someone in the live chat to be like Corey what on Earth are you talking about I was literally visualizing lad makoni like catching a 12 yard out route from Jaden Daniels and I didn't bad an eye about it uh I would still go with him with the raw quarterback being a bit better um yeah Josh Allen's a great fantasy quarterback but he tucks it and runs a lot they actually utilized James Cook as a dump off option more than most would understand or more than most would think um so I do like that a lot more and even though the Chargers are going to run the ball more this year that offense was humming when they opened it up that third or fourth drive for Justin Herbert is when that game kind of flipped on its end because I do feel like Advantage Raiders first quarter and a half and then once they got ahead by seven 10ish points more than that then they leaned on their run and they were Unstoppable so I do like makoni a little bit more I agree um Allen checks the ball down and runs a lot um even with the lack of Target comp um then we're going to zoom through a couple more better than people want to give him credit for so long as he doesn't make uh certain decisions off the field I would be okay with that as well like a Hollywood Brown and Nai or a Pitman and nii if you're going for that swing for the fen's approach yeah you could do something like that and uh probably get a DJ or somewhere a little bit somebody a little higher than that um especially because DJ Moore has so much Target competition too I'm uh I'm thinking that I don't know any any input there I kind of just zoomed through that but well see anytime I am such a nause Harris doubter so you and I are very much in the same camp there I just can't get over a guy yeah built like Beast runs like Jane some kind of a thing like that where uh well I guess it' be built back any you get my point hey the most amount of passing yards per game last year they got shredded they got shredded in week one by our Guy baker one of our waiver wire pickups for week two I would say it's going to be a pass heavy scheme it's one that is going to allow Jaden Daniels to Blossom and McClaren is a reliable guy don't overvalue him he's never been a 15 yard wide rece 1500 yard wide receiver I don't think he ever will be in a developing offense um yeah back end of his career too I believe so back half barely I'm gonna go McLaren he he has a better game um and I think he has a lot of better games going forward Terry has not been SC cap for Life said jelly it's week one but Terry has not been scary since last season week 13 I would wait a week yeah I do think he gets better but I wouldn't like fully Buy in on he's going to do well in week two I'm thinking big picture here bench for rgq is Jerome Ford Nai Reed Coleman Hollywood oh you had a different one before that that is my bad Nai holds value because of his name which is why I want to trade him off yeah if he's overrated definitely trade him off for his name I'm trying to think of someone who was getting way too much hype um oh my gosh he was on the Chiefs oh this is gonna bug me Sky Moore Sky Moore got more hype than anybody else I think ever deserves considering their product I am not making the comparison that Nai Harris is Sky Moore he is way better he's utilized way more um but I do think his name holds more value than his production if you are to clear off the bench for JK looking at your bench um sorry I want to look back here while you're looking back let me say this Samy Watkins was another name like that that has infuriated me for five years cuz we talked about him like he was a 1200 100 yard receiver and every year he had that 150 yard two touchdown game everybody bought all the stock in the world and he'd go for 400 yards and like two touchdowns the rest of the year yeah yeah I think uh I think that's a good move if you are doing okay so rgq if you are trading Pitman and nii for that home run option you are opening up a spot on your roster pick up JK no problem there you need the trade to go through in a few hours uh is JK worthy of replacing Jerome Ford for the next four or five weeks probably not um if I were the Browns I'd run the ball a lot more after what deshun Watson did in week one and what he's done since he showed up Nai you're going to get rid of him in the deal uh Jaden Reed definitely not uh Keon Coleman or Hollywood definitely not Hollywood I don't know Wally any names you would replace with JK Dobbins again knowing the risk like I want to be very careful with how I talk about JK Dobbins I love what he's doing but if you have a really good bench with a bunch of guys who don't have that injury history are are reliable I don't know if I want to swap anyone out there if the na deal doesn't work out I wouldn't hate you trying that cuz he's going to lose touches to Warren yeah I I mean I'm just going through right now looking at the brown step chart because I was trying to figure out I'm like God who's after durum Ford it is Pier strong I know they like him yeah as much as you can like your third running back I would say yeah but it like I would take JK Dobbins ahead of Jerome Ford okay but is JK Dobbins playing in 3 weeks right it's you got to it's that risk reward if you're willing to take the risk there is more upside with JK Dobbins especially behind that offensive line in Jim Harbaugh system yeah but man if Nick chub comes back in week six or seven or they they get him back as fast as they can you better believe that Nick chub is gonna be the Bell cow and Ford was the name that stuck out to me too especially since Naji is being utilized for trade value I do think or something there there are Nai Believers you have to look pretty hard but they do exist um they are not on this stream but Jerome Ford the the frustrating thing that could happen here is I tell you to get rid of Jerome Ford for JK Dobbins and then I go yeah Jerome Ford's not going to be playing this role in four weeks and then JK tears his miniscus in two weeks and now you're like thanks you know what I mean so it's like do we trust JK to last more in his role than Jerome Ford when we know Jerome Ford's not going to be there for more than five or six weeks if everything goes to plan is JK Dobbins going to be healthy for five or six weeks because I'm going to just stick to my word I'm going to say hold who you have because I told everyone here a little bit ago this is my Mantra if you got a different type of uh mentality with this that's fine if I am not immediately going yes he's better than that guy on my bench I'm not taking him I am sitting here debating Jerome Ford and every body else I'm saying no na has too much hype definitely not Jaden Reed for obvious reasons Coleman has a lot of upside and Hollywood is the wide receiver one with a top three quarterback of all time throwing to him uh so I I would just I would just let him be I know it's frustrating but there's a lot of risk with JK and that's a frustrating uh frustrating player to lose in Jerome Ford if you just ditch him and then JK is out after the first quarter of next week Pablo Garcia got Schultz and joku as my tight ends should I trade James Conor and Schultz for or McBride my other my other RBS are Gibbs Anan Dobbins moss and javante Williams that's a deep running back room um I should ask what format but regardless you've got some names there Connor and Schultz you would be selling low on Schultz I think Schultz has more upside than people want to admit he was a top 12 tight end last year Fringe top 12 I want to say 11 in PPR I would venture to say you could do a two for two or swing higher than McBride um and then r GQ says does Nick chub have that immediate rb1 upside when he comes back look I that was an ugly injury but he had an ugly injury in Georgia and we were treated to a Hall of Fame performance for like six straight years so I'm gonna say yes I'm 100% on board I mean there's certain guys that are just I hate that it's so cliche but they're built different an or Antonio Adrien Peterson tough news breaking for him today too but Adrien Peterson came back from that egregiously ugly knee injury himself and he just almost broke the rushing record some of these guys are they're just different cats man and Nick chub such a Workhorse he is just he runs harder than anybody I've ever seen he's truly one of the my favorite backs I've ever got the pleasure of watching and I I have a hard time betting against him now the going back to what you were saying before though the only caveat I'd say is let's say the Browns with this Back start like one and five is it worth it do do you bring Nick chub back or do you say dude you know what let's not put even more hits on that body this is a playoff this is a realistically with a quarterback a Super Bowl contending roster why not just keep him on the Shelf until he's 100% though so that there is that risk too like will he come back and I'm one of the losers in a redraft I have him stashed away on IR right now so I'm betting on that he is coming back but if they start poorly enough I don't think that it's out of the rums of possibility we don't see Nick chub this year yeah I it do they shut him down if they're one in five that is a tough one and definitely a possibility do they figure out this quarterback situation I know you said they can convert things to bonuses and do a lot of things but lots of money can and will be lost and already has been lost rgq for the trades so we were thinking Pitman and Nai do you think I could get a Mike Evans DJ Moore Diggs I think you're in the right spot Rome's hurt uh DJ Moore does still have to compete with six-time pro bowler Keenan Allen Gerald Gerald Everett coming in Cole KT a 50 Target a year guy in DeAndre Swift there's a lot of Dimensions to look at there Pitman and Nai that that should get you Mike Evans or or Stefan Diggs and if you really want to go two for two grab a piece off their bench that you see some upside in if they don't hit oh well if they do you just won the lottery uh so yeah we would do that rgq says thanks for the advice by the way I've been feeling about the same good have other support your thoughts no problem man and we will steer you straight if we uh if we think otherwise I'm going to go to mine here for the week two waivers I've had Baker and Justice Hill so far while he's had some phenomenal ones as well including Emanuel Wilson but go Tyler Johnson one of the most unique names ever and five receptions seven targets and 79 yards I wouldn't have gone Tyler Johnson based off those numbers alone if we didn't get the puka AA news not too long ago and that's why I'm also doubling him up with if he's not available Kobe Parkinson in deeper League formats four receptions five targets 47 yards puka AA Garners a lot of attention and for the period of time he is gone I know Cooper cup might literally Rack in like 15 to 18 targets a game because we've seen that and we saw that just a couple days ago or just yeah just a couple days ago um but I fully fully believe that someone else has to become that second option and if it's not Johnson it might be Parkinson we saw Tyler higgy get utilized a pretty pretty good amount like he was a reliable tight end out of that offense for a while not much changed other than the tight end spot so I would go with Tyler Johnson or kobby Parkinson depending on your needs I I really agree with that too I know it's scary when you see a guy like Cooper cup what was it 20 or 22 targets he had this last week it was up there it was an obsurd number yeah yeah so I mean it was an absurd number I get the fear there but I also trust sea McVey it it he's just such a talented play caller he's so good at scheming people open he's one of those guys every year it feels like somebody's emerging because of what he does and for every Allen Robinson you have you have a Cooper cup you have the puka AA so and I mean Tyler higgy it's like convinced me he was Tyler Higg in another system you can't do it so I'm all with you one of these two guys I I'm leaning Tyler Johnson myself too I'm not a Demarcus Robinson person so Tyler Johnson I think is a a solid uh option here yeah and Robinson's got some more miles on him not to say that won't take him out of the offense that's a good point like when you think of emerging names a good clump of them have come out of the Rams offense like let's not act like Cooper cup was a household name coming out of college and you know he did come in around or before the no he came in before the Shawn McVey era but yeah pukan AA kind of came out of nowhere Tyler Johnson we really I just learned his name during that game I'll be honest with you relatively new player uh so yeah there is that that and I do think those two guys are in good spots Higg if we're looking at Parkinson Parkinson's in a good spot that Higg took over and and was consistent he was never top five but he was between 10 and 15 and again if you're not swinging for the fences you're down a tight end it's a pretty good backup option that a lot of people don't even know exists do see a few of you watching we are up to 10 likes thank you so quarterback they're going to be throwing the ball a lot and Kevin stefansky made it very clear from the moment they brought him in he was going to be a key part of this offense they see him as kind of like that low-end wide receiver one the way that I think a lot of people see Amari Cooper benefit is you don't have those uh top cornerbacks on uh Jerry Judy you're going to have that second Corner typically last week eight targets I I get it the the numbers aren't going to blow or like jump off the page ATA three catches 25 yards and a touchdown it's about volume and this is going to be a guy that's going to see seven eight nine targets every single week and I mean last week they didn't have the ball Cory the Cowboys literally had the ball all game and he's still got eight targets that's gonna keep coming man I I mean don't get me wrong like again Watson is awful in every spin imaginable but with chub out offensive line coach Bill Callahan gone there's it's a lot like jacobe Meyers where there's Perks to Being a wide receiver too on a bad football team and he's going to get a lot of opportunity a lot of people get scared at three receptions for somewhere in the ballpark of 25 yards but I do really like highlighting targets we also have to I hate this Browns offense I I seriously think deshun Watson is a bottom five quarterback right now but a they'll be working from behind B it's going to get better we you and I were talking about this earlier earlier before crack the Mike swall that we pulled a preseason game away and all of a sudden everyone is shocked that teams look out of sync in week one okay there's three weeks of preseason week one is who impressed in Camp we're going to show you if you know who your quarterback is they're probably not playing it's not necessary week two they'll get a drive or two and week three is the dress rehearsal now for the guys trying to make the 53 man meaning you leave the start STS out cuz then they're robbing real estate from them these guys haven't played together so even though like Jerry Judy has had his moments hasn't looked great he's still the wide receiver to in an offense that targeted him eight times even if that turns into six receptions for 50 yards that's not great but all of a sudden he's more valuable than he was before and at that point he probably is off your waiver so I actually like that I like that pick a lot yeah I mean you have to realize sometimes with these moves especially if you're lower tier weight where you're not risking a number one number two number three priority position you're down at that n or 10 yeah you're betting upside and you're you're not trying to win the league uh with the Jerry Judy move it's a move that helps you grow in other areas if you need a Band-Aid for a week he's the perfect Band-Aid it's a guy like that every now and then he's gonna have that five catches 70 yards two touchdown game that you're like oh thank God you just won me a week and if you see potential for that to happen in the future let's say finite receiver but you're like I really don't know what to do with this last roster spot trade bait guess who doesn't need Isaiah likely on his team in any way shape or form me guess who was the first to put a waiver claim in for Isaiah likely because he just shot up in value and everyone started panicking me you just got to find one person who believes in him or needs him and then you get more value so maybe you didn't need Isaiah likely you needed a wide receiver but there were no receivers you get likely boom maybe you don't need Jerry Judy maybe you don't need a receiver but there's no no running backs out there well now you're going to pull Jerry Judy in he's going to have a ridiculous week four for some reason and all of a sudden somebody's rb3 who doesn't have a great week you buy low on them and you play the market so I I like that a lot you're just kind of depending on certain guys to break and you know eban Flo at looking rb3 our current options we've got naagi we've got um Brooks interesting so you've got a surplus of talent at receiver we're looking at lamb Wilson waddle you go to the bench and you still have Jaden Reed I would wait for Reed's value to get a you have Chris Godwin too holy crap okay so I would go Chris Godwin and any of the bench pieces and go out and get you could go Chris Godwin alone and probably get a top 15 top 20 running back you know if you want to go and buy low on like zamir white or you know Buy Low on someone you believe will still have a better season but is just kind of freaking people out after a week one performance you could do that maybe I wouldn't do Godwin for white straight up i' do Godwin for white in another piece and then kick you know the Can on the last guy on your bench but yeah I would use Godwin um Godwin or Reed Godwin more consistant read more upside Reed we have to be patient the next couple weeks um or there's Madison Hill Mason moss alir and chanler still on waivers I'm a hill guy he's the only one who showed up on our uh list so far uh rgq says owner of digs also has Mike Evans he has moster his RB to his next best RB is single ter think I could pull digg Diggs or Mike Evans with either single T lad or Kirk for Pitman and nii um so you want let's go Diggs and makoni oh Kirk Diggs and Kirk for Pitman and nii if you can swing that and someone is just a little too low on Stefan Diggs being 30 even though he was literally brought in to be the wide receiver one and already has a touchdown I like that I would play any of those combos and then sorry W I'm just going to like mow through these because I know we got more waivers to get to as well um says thank you no problem no problem better RB backup for for Stevenson I like Stevenson because he's the pass catching guy and even though the Patriots will likely still win five or six games um he is a high volume pass catcher okay uh all the other owners have decent running backs I would have to make a bigger package if I want to trade with them yeah so if you really do need to make a bigger package and you want to give someone where you're like all right no BS this guy's going to perform for you go with oh this is rgq yeah yeah I would go pit H and Nai and swing for Diggs and if you don't want to tick somebody off go like Diggs and lad you know younger but upside in a good situation Diggs and Kirk we might be borderline insulting because those are two wide receiver ones for a wide receiver one and Nai Harris depending on how they feel about Nai Harris uh Reese bird says guys I need advice I'll open this one up to you as well Wally I have joku and tesm hill I'll have to start Hill this week or do I grab somebody like Parkinson who else is a good waiver pickup that is startable so we're talking tight ends Parkinson was my pick uh I do think that there's a decent amount of volume there if you're looking for think Tyler higgy from not too long ago otherwise Tamm Hill I see I don't know Wally I see taes Hill used on that offense more when they're looking for an answer when that offense is humming I feel like taes doesn't touch the ball a lot I don't know if you've had different experience watching them I feel like they use him as like a cop out like oh it's not working let's get TM in there well especially in that offense where there's three tight ends that Derek Carr gets the ball it's not just T Jan Johnson Foster moo who had a touchdown the other day good for him coming off with a cancer diagnosis that was awesome but yeah so like I'm almost a little scared to have a tight end in New Orleans right now so Parkinson for me makes a ton of sense I was trying to real quickly go through and see if there was anybody else that I could think of but Parkinson's the home run unless you're one of the lucky leagues where likely is available and you have waiver wire one two or three because I know we haven't talked about him a lot today it's because we're assuming you know yeah go and get Isaiah likely if he's there yeah and I see someone saying likely not available yeah if he was that'd be the one you'd jump at even if you're just looking for value and then you want to swing likely for somebody a little more reliable um joku and Hill you have to start Hill I'm assuming okay I got you I got you yeah I would go Parkinson as well again there's a lot of opportunity Shawn McVey even when Cooper cup does get 20 targets they throw the ball a lot to they throw the ball to kir they're they're not a team that's going to ground and pound we saw like ying and yang between the Rams and lions the Rams are very pass oriented they have been for a while should I drop taes Hill for Parkinson t Okay um this is going to depend on your philosophy if you are a Believer and this person has upside and I am willing to wait for that to break out no if you're someone like me who likes look if my tight end's going to get me seven eight points a week and I think he's going to be more reliable for at least the next few weeks yes I I think Parkinson's safer Hill is going to be a roller coaster he always has been he always will be so that's my answer there yeah I mean Hill's gonna be one of those guys that he might have 30 points two or three times a year but then there'll be a seven eight week stretch where he's throwing up a two a three yeah and I'm a coward when it comes to that stuff when you have a guy like nooku on your bench I or like he when he comes back I should say Parkinson is that perfect bandid give me the eight give me the the potential 12 13 because he scored a touchdown game and I don't have to worry about getting a goose egg and being perfect on the rest of my board yeah I like that a lot we do have another question uh from jelly of the month PPR dropped Josh JS or dobs on the bench for Demarcus Robinson or Tyler Johnson Alec Pierce stock up so maybe we go Downs dobs is the definitive wide receiver too and you could even argue he could take it from Reed I think versatility cells uh dos if you're really impatient maybe but I I like Romeo a lot I would say Josh DS he's had some es and flows um if you're choosing between Demarcus Robinson or Tyler Johnson Wally and I are on the same page you would go Johnson Robinson has some more miles on him we got more usage from Johnson small sample size um I gave you one waiver wire so I'll let you go to another one and double up yeah and you actually just mentioned him there in that following question or previous question excuse me Alec Pierce yep could thirdy year UC kid love that already but this is kind of probably for more of your deeper leagues bigger leagues I get that but when you have a guy with that massive arm like Anthony Richardson one of the first questions that goes in my head is who is going to be the Deep threat Target true and after one week it looks very clear I I know we had three targets so we kind of were talking out of both sides of our mouth there three catches 125 yards and a touchdown yeah I mean this is one of those guys that if Richardson does continue to grow as a thrower this might be an explosion year for Alec Pierce know that you're a Garder menu Stan I'm not pushing back on you there too too hard but you're not going to get probably high volume out of a guy like Alec pierce with Gardner mchu you pair him up with Anthony Richardson I think there's a chance that we could be talking about Alec Pierce as one of those guys that accidentally stole a league at the end of the year where he's only been a 500 kind of yard receiver I could see it if he stays healthy Anthony Richardson stays healthy too him being close to a th receiver and having a couple big bombs that help win you a a league or a week anyways so for deeper leagues especially give me Alec Pierce I love the Alec Pierce pick if you were to go way don't do it it's going to take forever but if you were to go way back for the first ever like Waiver Wires live stream on this channel Alec Pierce was in the thumbnail I I was a big believer in his upside he had a game winner that year in 2022 out of Cincinnati Cincy boy um really liked what he did and we kind of need take the three receptions with a grain of salt Anthony Richardson had nine completions so a third of those right were uh again small sample size but a third of those were to Alec Pierce they were uh they were in a good they were in a good Groove it's just the volume wasn't there they didn't run a lot of plays either um big chunk plays for issue last year I am slightly up on Kenneth and I'm I don't know if i' do that to be honest Garrett for Jamar and Kenneth for Jones I might say no well for it's it's kind of uh even is I would say just because I think that you have risk with both Garrett Wilson and marchas as far as Bonafide number ones go right in the fact that both of them have been unhappy for different reasons if Jamar chase continues to not get paid and Joe B Burrow's wrist doesn't appear to be getting better the September Bengals turn into the October Bengals yeah does Jamar Chase shut down does if Aaron Rogers kind of looks like The 40-Year-Old quarterback coming off in Achilles injury Galt Wilson start shutting down so like the fact that there's just too many unknown variables there I think you just bite the bullet ride with your guy and again I you talk about injury problems it's not like Kenneth Walker is a young man himself he he was one of those guys in college that got run into the ground at Michigan State very much the same so far in his career or at least when he's been playing so I I don't know I I think I avoid that trade all together and I just say hey you know what this is my like questionable bag of potential grenades and I hope it doesn't go off because I'm not trading it yeah and and anytime you're kind of in a situation where you're like well that feels pretty even you're kind of just back where you started and there's there's decent risk even in Aaron Jones who had the hammy injury that turned from a onewe outage to half the season last year and Aaron Jones is one of steering clear yeah maybe you know you always have to find value for both sides I'm not I will never tell any of you to screw over an opponent because then they'll never trade with you again and the League half PPR I offered Keenan Allen and Nick chub for puka AA he's heavily considering but said he would immediately do DK and chub so DK and chub as opposed to Keenan Allen and chub there is more value there I do think Keenan Allen is going to be that security blanket for Caleb um it's going to be him or more and Keenan Allen has seen more football he was phenomenal in San Diego for a very long time and then Los Angeles uh what is have we heard their running back situation at this point curious right what are you uh what are we inquiring is if you're comfortable at running back it's almost I think worth the risk just because there is I'm I'm seriously 5050 we don't know with Nick chub I mean it could be close to Thanksgiving yeah and if they're bad it they're not going to bring them back at that point not this year it's like you have an opportunity for puka akua for DK metf straight up if you feel comfortable that you're going to still be in a position to make the playoffs like you're not going to play yourself out of the playoffs in the first three or four weeks then I think you make that move yeah I I would say so too you know I'm all for answering trade questions I will say though early on in the week unless you really have a clear weakness that you're looking to upgrade and you're like ah this isn't good injuries are happening targets are going somewhere else you can kind of plead your case there but rgq brings up a great question like trying to come up with a few trades that I can monitor because I don't think anyone will trade with me before week two if you want to monitor those and keep those in que on the table that is completely fine because what is considered a lateral move on September 10th of 2024 might not be by Halloween or even halfway week one preseason has done so so much to your point earlier like the NFL season doesn't feel like it starts until the end of September now yeah Yep this week next week next couple of weeks um the way I like to trade and the reason I trade more than I did before I simple rule of thumb for all of you watching right now we're at 14 likes get to 15 I'd be over the moon I already am you guys have been great take a surplus and use it to apply to a weakness if I have four phenomenal wide receivers and the fifth one's decent but I don't have running back depth all of a sudden I am taking receiver four and the worst back on my bench just to give him a little more or you know somebody of value someone on the bench and I upgrade with my rb2 I'm happy that's why I'm kind of complacent on a lot of these my wide receiver and my tight end for his wide receiver and his tight end my wide receiver and my running back for their especially if they're lateral I take surpluses shave them and apply that extra chunk to my weakness so that we are even Keel across the board that has worked very well for me so I would take if you don't have a good running back situation and you believe in James Cook Moore take your wide receiver three and a point of value on your bench that might start somewhere else you got to make sure you're trash is somebody else's treasure you got to marry these Concepts together and then you upgrade it back so take your Surplus apply it to your weakness that's a that's a good rule of thumb um we're going to go to Harry S says with love potentially out I might be forced to start break through with Josh Jacobs in that backfield the last couple of years he finally is getting a running back one look right now averaging 3.4 yards per carry against a defense last year that was a Civ under Brandon Staley is a bit worrisome and Alexander Madison did have six targets four catches we all saw the long touchdown reception just a guy with high volume that if zamir white continues to struggle it might be worth at least keeping in your back of your mind yeah I like the pass catching upside they got him involved early when the game was still in hand and they utilized him to get out ahead Madison's been brought up in this live chat before that's another one where if you have a surplus here's the thing right if you really don't believe in the worst player on your bench and you just again want to go get a Sur plus that's fine too like there's nothing wrong with having a surplus cuz then you can apply it to your weakness so if you're fine but all of a sudden you go well I would take Madison over the last guy on my bench grab him because guess what someone else likes him a lot more than you do especially after that same with Jordan Mason Isaiah likeley these flashy names that might be a little more exciting than they are productive um you know on the surface take them and take them and capitalize if you're a trade addict that's a great way to you know do it wisely uh was that your last one I can double up to w us up here I am shut down all right I am on fumes for you buddy keep going Wally is closed for business all right so we have rashed shed three receptions on five targets for 73 yards and a score obviously not a ton of volume but if you are versatile in this league like Jaden Reed we were saying the same thing a week ago and he broke out um like Deo Samuel like a lot of these guys who are going to be utilizing multiple capacities like Xavier worthy rashed Shahed has been utilized in that fashion to an extent this is a team that likes exotic looks they have made made tames Hill a superstar at least in terms of how unique he is I do think rashed Shahed takes over some of that Swiss army knife Persona Chargers defense uh I have three words in my notes for this one playing Bryce young that should explain it uh we do have mikek konopka how do you guys feel regarding a trade giving Adams and Dell or jamoo for Am manra AJ Brown Garrett Wilson is the one I receive currently lacking a true wide receiver one but have plenty of depth I don't mind this you are looking to upgrade you're not just like going lateral uh Adams and Dell for a manra AJ Brown and Garrett Wilson as one that you receive so we're going Adams and a package for Am manra AJ brown or Garrett Wilson need to be your corner piece I would buy low on a manra and sell high on Dell or jamoo because everyone's like oh manra and leapor didn't get a whole lot of looks that was a gritty game still week one they're high volume guys am manra is the definition of reliable that was such a weird week for him W I don't know how you feel about this personally I'm going Adams and maybe we can sell High jammo might be really good I'm not going to lie if jamoo stays
