hey guys welcome to the All Sports Pass podcast North I'm your host xn Cal X and welcome back to another sec schedule predictions video where today I'm going to be covering the Vanderbuilt commodor and before we get in this video you already know we got to start off with the verse of the day so today's verse comes from 1 Thessalonians 5:11 and it says therefore encourage one another and build each other up just as in fact you are doing Amen to that and also guys heading into this uh video I want you to all to know this I keep in mind that these are my predictions these are what I think went 0 and8 in the in SEC play and and so pretty much this just was another Bad season for them they now they did go 5- seven in 2022 went 2- six in in the SEC and then they end up and of course 2021 they go 2 and 10 again then 0 and8 in the SEC in 2020 they go 0 and9 which um which I'm just saying this here because Theon why I mentioned this cuz you know when I mention that they had another bad year uh that's what I mean now I'm not saying Vanderbilt is like bad bad I just mean that you know it just I just mean that they're just they're just haven't been having really good years and of course most and of course here let's see uh and according to the football time Tennessee magazine it there are some key rores there's 11 of them in total and there's I'm sorry they have 11 starters returning excuse me they have four offensive players returning six defense returning one specialist returning and the key attorneys are Langston Patterson CJ Taylor Cedric Alex Cedric Alexander Quincy Skinner Jr and Junior Cheryl and and of course also these in these predictions for the football time uh they also are predicted to finish last and let me uh let me try to uh find that real quick right here it says the commodor have are purchased the botom the new 16 SC teams last year V one only I'm sorry um the commodor are perched at the bottom of the new SEC 16 SEC teams last year Vandy only won two games overall and zero SEC games Vandy has had several their players transfer so they will have to rely on two transfer quarterbacks to lead their team Nate Johnson transferred from Utah and Diego Pavia from New Mexico may also may also be another long year for Vandy and really I think this that of course Vandy has been struggling a bit and so but hey every season a new season they might be able to pull something off but let's see what I think and heading into week one they're playing Virginia Tech and this is a home game for them uh I'm sorry for for Vander Bill I'm sorry it's a home game for them and let's take a look at Virginia Tech real quick for Virginia Tech they're coming into this season following a following a bowl win they won the Military Bowl 41 to 20 against two lane and of course they finished they had a s-6 record and finished 5 and3 in the ACC and I will say this that in my opinion I'm I'm going to say that if Vanderbilt can come into this game giving like giving their all pretty much like now I think hold let me wind it back a little bit I'm so sorry there um if Vanderbilt can come into the season with a fresh start which they're doing pretty much uh I know they're hoping for immediate success but however I think it's going to depend on how how they play pretty much but I do think this that I just don't see them getting by Virginia Tech I just think that Virginia Tech is going to be the better team and I think they're going to win this one so I'm going to get this one Virginia Tech then next week they're playing alorn State and here's what I'm going to say that that Alcorn State this is a win for Vanderbilt simply because Alcorn State is an FCS team and usually FCS teams pretty much lose to to the FBS teams but I will say this that however you can't rule the FCS teams out because there have been some FCS upsets and like I said in multiple other videos FCS team and FCS notable upset well back then SCS is this team since moved up to the FBS was appalachin state in 2007 upsetting number five Michigan at the time and pretty much uh that pretty much ruined Michigan's season now I think Michigan ended up having a bowl win that season but however I do think that of course it's still ruined their chances of really going to the National Championship but however I think this that for alorn State let's take a look at how they did last season and they did finish as the co- champion in the SW West the southwestern Atlantic conference that is and and of course on their schedule they played Southern Miss and they played Stephen F Austin who I'm sorry Southern Miss is a is a FBS team I'm sorry see Austin is the FCS team and then they end up you know doing pretty good but however I just think this that that I just think that Vanderbilt's going to win this one and and really I just think it's mostly because FCS team I think it's going to be highly unlikely for alorn state to win so I'm going to need on the Vanderbuilt next and they're playing Georgia State and let me tell you this for Georgia State they did win the famous Idaho Potato bow against Utah State and I will say this though that that this I'm gonna say I'm gonna say this that I think this should be a win for Vanderbilt simply because you know Georgia state's in the sun Bel conference and the sun Bel conference is not a power four conference so usually teams that play these so usually um teams that aren't in the power four conference in the power for conferences excuse me they tend they tend to lose to these but however I will say this that I'm sorry they tend to lose to these uh Power for Conference teams but however I will say this Georgia state is is pretty notable for upsetting and matter of fact they did that in 2019 against 10 Tennessee and what I mean and of course that game I remember watching it and I was in shock and I just want to say this that ended up not mattering because Jer Jeremy puit um dur br's investigation by the NCAA um forced Tennessee to Forfeit um all the games that season so ended up if they W against George state it wouldn't have even mattered and I just think that of course for I just think for this I just have to say that Tennessee it was an embarrassing loss and they really and in the Tennessee fans minds they really want to forget that but hey uh just keep in mind for Tennessee fans it probably don't even it don't matter now because U because it would have been overturned anyway to an to a forfeit so yeah but however I just think this that I think Vanderbilt should be able to win this one but however I did see this that this game honestly now this might be unlikely however Georgia State could pull the upset but however I think it's going to be unlikely but however depends on how Vanderbilt's defense is going to be heading into the third game of the season as well as their offense so really we're going to have to wait and see on this one but I think it's likely going to be a Vanderbilt win so I'm going to get this one to Vanderbuilt all right then the next game they're playing at zo which is Missouri and for Missouri they're they've had an 11-2 season in 2023 and went 6-2 in the SEC and they won the Cotton Bowl classic 14-3 against Ohio State and I have to say this that for maou they're they're pretty much you know I think they're going to have another good season heading into this season and of course they get Brady cook back and I just think it's going to be see what they can do but hey but hey let's just say this that for a team like Vanderbilt to play missou I just don't think it's I just do not think Vanderbilt's going to win it so I'm going to give this one to Missouri and then they're going to be off the next week then they're going to play Alabama and I just have to say this that um under now of course Alabama doesn't have Sabin anymore but however I just think this that for Bama I just have to say this should be a very easy win for Alabama if if uh Vanderbilts now actually hold on let me wind it back a little bit now of course Alabama only beat them oh I'm sorry I I am so sorry guys I um I checked the wrong the wrong schedule I am so sorry um I'll St in Georgia I am so sorry but however I do think that um but I do think that of course Alabama this should be an easy win for them I just think that of course if if Vanderbilt is going to improve I just think that of course I just don't think it's going to happen against Alabama and so here's what I'm going to say to that I say that Alabama's going to win this one so I'm going to get this one to Alabama all right then they're going to be playing at Kentucky and here's what I think I think of course that Kentucky should be able to win this one pretty handily however let's take a look at last season for Kentucky now they lost 3538 to Clemson and the gator Ball but however they end up you know but however they end up beating Vanderbilt last year by a score 4528 and I just think think this that that if vanderbel is not going to improve at this point this should be a win for Kentucky so I really think I'm just going to give this one to Kentucky then the next game they're playing ball State and here's what I have to say uh since Ball State is not a power four Conference team and speak of actually let me check uh this right quick and of course last season for Ball State they went four 4 and eight and they finished 3 and five in the mid American Conference which is not a power five conference I'm sorry a power four conference um if y'all are wondering why it used to be power five uh for those who are new to college football the reason why used to be power five is because back CU last year you had the SEC ACC the Big 12 the Big 10 and the Pack 12 but now the Pack 12 is now the pack two so unfortunately they're not in the power five anymore so it's now the power four so that's really you know so that's really why I cons that there but I think this that of course really for this team here I just think that of course I think that Vanderbilt's probably going to win this one it I'm and I just think it's because you know with Ball State not being in the power being a power four Conference team it's likely going to be it's likely going to be Vanderbilt winning this one so I'm going to get this one Vanderbilt then next game Vil's hosting SEC newcomer Texas and I have to say this that Texas was on a roll last season they finished runner up to I'm sorry not runner up they finished third and on let me wind it back I am so sorry guys um they they lost to Old sorry not Old Miss what am I thinking guys hey here's the thing sometimes you make mistakes on air and and hey I'm just quick to address mine and and I ask that you all just be patient with me um because hey sometimes hey I'm a human too I make mistakes but however I just think this that of course um Texas finished third in the nation last year and I just think that of course in that loss to uh I'm sorry and they lost to the Washington Huskies who were the national championship runner up and I will just say this that this is a win for Texas simply because I think Texas might be on a roll again but ium to see how Texas does because of course this their first season in SEC they're playing new teams but I just think that of course if Texas can remain on a rooll I'm going to give this one to Texas and honestly I have say this it actually I actually say that Texas might be able to to win this one pretty easily so I'm going to give this one to Texas then the next game they're playing at Auburn and I have to say for Auburn I really think this that Auburn hold let me check last season real quick they made it to the mus City Bowl they lost 31 to 13 to Maryland and I really think this that now they did lose they did lose five SEC games and they won three of them which were actually uh which are against Mississippi State against Vanderbilt and against Arkansas so really this is really you know thing here now I do think that of course for Auburn this is probably going to be a win for them and not only is it because you know I don't think Vanderbilt I think that of course Auburn's going to be the better team not only because Vanderbilt at this point would have only won like two or three games and the only reason why I say is like because these are my predictions pretty much and I just think that of course if they're being if they're a bit weak if they're weaker on the record it's likely going to be another it's likely going to be a loss to Auburn so I'm going to give this one to Auburn and the next game they're playing South Carolina and let me tell you this South Carolina I actually had them on this uh on the South Carolina video winning against uh Vanderbilt I'm Gonna Keep The Pick and I just think it's because you know now of course South Carolina's been having some death issues but I think at this point of the season they should be able to they should be able to you know figure the death out and I just think that of course the death should honestly um be figured out like I just said I'm so sorry should Hest be able to be figured out and so this should be a win for South Carolina then they're off the next week and I really want to and I really want to says at this point that for Vanderbilt how you going to go for these last two games of the season are you going to make some changes or are you going to um or is everything going to are you still going to hope to win against LSU and Tennessee or what's going to happen now of course I'm not saying you know fire anybody I'm just saying like do you think you make changes to the starting lineups or what do you do like that's what I thinking then the next game they're playing LSU and of course and of course this I'm just going to say this that I just think that that for this game it's being played at Death Valley which is what they call LSU and I just want to say that and I just want to say this that I think that LSU is going to win this one simply because you know LSU I think will be having a decent season so I'm going to give this one to LSU right here then next game they're playing Tennessee and I have to say this that that this game here is an easy win for Tennessee I just think it's the easy win simply because you know Tennessee has always beat van has pretty much beaten Vanderbilt like they actually lead the series 78 33 to5 and I just think that of course in the last time Vanderbilt beat Tennessee was 2018 and I just think this that this game here honestly this should honestly be a easy win for Tennessee so I'm going to give this one to Tennessee and all right that's all I got for y'all tonight if y'all like this video
