2024 Tennessee Vols Football Schedule Predictions!!!

Intro hey guys welcome to the all sports past podcast North I'm your host x creal x and today I'm doing the Tennessee Vol schedule predictions um and this is the fourth video in the 2024 fall football predictions series for the SEC um and before we get into this video I want to give a quick shout out to the vord they are a Discord server full of Tennessee Vs fans and I recommend joining um I'll coming into this season following a 9 and4 record and that record also included a uh cheese at Citrus Bowl win and that also saw the game where that was also the game where we were introduced to Nico am malava I don't know how to say his name sorry um so I'm just going to call him Nico but um however Nico in my opinion played pretty great that game um help Lee Tennessee to a 35 nothing shut out of Iowa and winning the Citrus Bowl and um it looks like it might bring a bit of momentum for Tennessee heading into this season um but there are some departures and some notable additions um the departures uh Jaylen Wright who declared for the draft Tyler Baron transferred to Louisville um and then Camille hen and New Players uh the Tennessee's best defensive back is now gone but over the whole starting defensive defensive back the whole starting defensive back room is now gone excuse me um and however the new starters are Josh hypo recruits and then Joe Milton who was the starting quarterback last season um he did not play in the ball game because he opted out um he he um is going to the draft um he was in my opinion he was a great athlete like he has he had a cannon for an arm um but however I just think he was wildely inconsistent I think be drafted on potential um but however I do not think Tennessee was able to run its full offense with him um at quarterback and they ran less Tempo and both tight ends declared for the draft however there are some new players um there are two festar wide receivers um Mike Matthews um brayan Staley bu Carter who was an athlete and top player in the state will be Tennessee's returner this year it will also see time as their star defensive back there are two transfer defens backs with good stats and experience and they're two transfer tight ends um Holden stays from Notre Dame um he's athletic and can be a hand in the dirt tight end um another tight end from Alabama that was and another tight tight end transferred to Tennessee he's from Alabama he is more of a traditional tight end Jackson Mah sorry if I say his last name wrong um was a was is a defensive tackle from Stanford he's a big body defense tackle with a couple years left and then five star left tack Lance herd who's a sophomore from LSU will start at left tackle he's a future star from LSU and wide receiver uh Chris Brazzle um he transferred from Two lanane and he a wide receiver to Twitch of a slot wide receiver he will be a red zone Mitch Match and then Nico uh like I just said starting the ball game um he's the starter now um he can run the tempo offense and however I do think Nico of course um I do think he will throw a bit of interceptions but however he can he can throw he can run I think you know I think he can run the tempo offense all right and um with that Schedule being said let's um take a look at their schedule so week one is a home opener they're going to be playing Tennessee Chattanooga and I'm going to say this this is a win for Tennessee because Tennessee Chattanooga is a weaker team um so I just think that Tennessee will be winning this game um and then the next week they're going to be playing NC State at a neutral um at Charlotte for a neutral game um simply I think this um in state um on their schedule last year um they ended up you know doing pretty decent in my opinion um they're ended up being ranked as well um they were ranked after a after a five-game winning streak um and of course one of those uh saw them win ranked number 22 in the country um and when they won that game against North Carolina they lost to Kansas State in the in the Pop-Tarts Bowl um by a score of 28 to 19 um but however I do think that you know of course um Tennessee can run great um can run great offense and defense so it's going to be interesting to see um how Tennessee can do this but I'm going to give Tennessee this one um and then the next week Tennessee is back at home um uh playing Kent State I'm going to say this um this is an easy win for Tennessee in my opinion because Kent State I think is a weaker team in my opinion so I'm going to give uh this one to Tennessee and then I also did a video um and then the next game um at Oklahoma I did a video on Oklahoma um it's in the playlist lists um but however I'll put that in the link below if youall want to take a look at it um I had Tennessee winning um really I just think that Tennessee um can be the better team in this game um but however this is actually um this is actually Tennessee's first uh SEC opponent of the year um in Oklahoma so of course they want to start off their conference being 1 and0 um their first conference game being 1 and0 um and now now I do think Tennessee can do it I just think they you know they have to have some good defense some good offense great make great plays great get good stops um and just find ways to score against Oklahoma um but I just think Tennesse is going to win this game I'm going to keep my pick at that just because I think that you know with that I just believe that um I just believe that Tennessee can win it then next week they're off then the next game they play at Arkansas and I have say I'm also kind of I'm going to say this um I really think Tennessee is going to beat Arkansas simply because you know um Arkansas has not really had successful Seasons during the past couple years however uh I will say this Arkansas did nearly upset Alabama um last season um they ended up you know uh only losing that game um they only ended up losing that that game by a score of 2421 and and Alabama was ranked number 11th at the time was ranked 11th at the time and uh bpra would have been um in my opinion one of the best upsets of the year if that if they were able to pull it off but however unfortunately didn't so here's what I'm going to say um on this game I'm going to say um that I'm going to say this that I think um Tennessee is going to win simply due the fact you know Arkansas has some struggles really um and like I what I mean by struggles is that you know they've not really been as powerful as they were in years past so I'm going to say Tennessee is going to win this game Rivalry and then the next week uh they're playing it's the Rivalry game um Tennessee vers Florida um and this is back atam you know this is back at Tennessee and here's what I'm going to say um you know Tennessee um defeated Florida in 2022 and then they went up to Florida um back with Tennessee was ranked 11th um last season where they got upset by Florida by a score 2916 um however I think things can be different here um Tennessee has got some has got some good passing game um they've got some good running game in my opinion and I also think they're going to have some good defense um and here's what I'm going to say to this I think Tennessee is going to defeat Florida um now do I think that you know Tennessee defeating Florida is going to give them momentum it depends how Florida how you look at it really Florida of course you know uh they're coming off a five- seven season um and I do think that Florida um and I do think that you know Florida is a CH in my opinion um has of course ruined Tennessee season a little bit in years past like for example last year where of course that upset happened but however final Tennessee I got to put last year behind me and I got to realize it's a new season and we had the and Tennessee has the advantage this time so let's see if Tennessee can win against Florida and here's what I'm going to say my final pick on this one I'm going to go Tennessee on this one then it's the Alabama third Saturday in October and with alab um and you know I was actually kind of debating this pick here um I'm going to say this um Alabama I don't know but I do know this that you know there have been a few guys who have transferred away um let me uh let me pull them up real quick um I know uh for a fact that one of them that did transfer away is Isaiah Bondo wide receiver who transferred to Texas um he's a festar wide receiver um and they also have um and they also have jakori Brooks who transferred to Louisville um they had um they also have Kaden Proctor in their offensive line um offensive tackle going to Iowa um Parker bford um is going to Alabama on a four-star recruit um as four star Seth mclin's going um to Ohio State as a fourstar and TJ and going to Florida State as a four star and then you know I really think you know after Savin retired that they're going to be having a bit more you know uh they're going to be a bit struggling just a little bit um uh just simply because you know sabin's been their coach for so many years and now they're getting uh kayin Deo um and Deo don't get me wrong he's a good coach like he led the Washington Huskies to the um to the national championship game where they championship game where they lost to the Michigan Wolverines um but however um if Alabama cannot recover um I'm going to give this one to Tennessee um but however do I think that you know Alabama can recover I think so but however the question is will it be enough to defeat Tennessee I'm going to say no on this one I'm going to give Tennessee this win simply because you know like you know usually with the new coach it comes with you know adjusting to how this coach which is how this coach can um how this coach can lead the team both offensively and defensively so it depends on you know how how you look at it but for me I'm going to pick Alabama on this I'm sorry I'm going to pick Tennessee on this one um and I'm going to give Tennessee this one here and they're gonna and I do think that of course I think Tennessee we gonna see them smoking them cigars at the end of um at the end of this game all right and then November then Kentucky after and then the next week it's um uh there's no game the next week for Tennessee then they play Kentucky um at home and I have say I'm going to give this one to Tennessee because um Tennessee has won so many games over Kentucky that I just think that you know Kentucky um now Kentucky has come close in the past couple years including last season where of course Tennessee won by six um but however I do think that you know Tennessee is able to hold down Kentucky and uh and are and is able to win a lot of these games so I'm going to say this I'm going to give this one to Tennessee due the fact that you know like based on this history now of course Kentucky can have a season turnaround um and of course it's like I say you know just keep in mind um uh these are my predictions these are just what I think will happen um during the game um these are just what I think will happen during the season um now Kentucky can have a a great season wherever do I think that they can get past Tennessee I just don't think so so I'm going to give this one to Tennessee here then next week is Mississippi State um Mississippi State um let me pull up their last season real quick um they came they came off a a pretty okay season in my opinion um Mississippi State but they did not have a great record um so let me just uh pull that up here real quick um they end up you know they end up going five and seven and then they ALS and then they also um uh and of course they did beat Arizona week one um by score 3124 in overtime um and then you know just then they beat Arkansas but however just more losses um however I do think they know Tennessee is going to win simply because you know Mississippi state has not really had like you know of course um with Mike Leech um over Mike Leech passed away the season prior um uh like after the 2022 season they brought in Zack Arnett um who was promoted from defensive coordinator to head coach um and then he was fired um um after the first 10 games and then they had Greg Knox fill in for the remainder of the season um now if Mississippi State cannot get um like cannot get things figured out I think Mississippi state's going to continue to struggle in my opinion um so I'm going to get this one to Tennessee here um just simply because you know I don't know if Mississippi state will uh get some things figured out or not and then the next week it's at Georgia um and Georgia um came off a uh came in the came off last season with um with their 29 game winning streak broken in the SEC Championship game what they um and they lost to Alabama in that game and that was the Nick Sabin LED Alabama um and then heading into um this season they're coming off a bowl win um and let me search that up uh real quick um and I do think they know Georgia is going to get is going to get back on top uh I just think that you know of course um I just think that of course you know Georgia just had that one loss but however I do think that they are going to be um I do think that they are going to be back um on the top of the leaderboard so I'm going to say this now Georgia is going to be a bit hard for Tennessee to get by um and do I think that Tennessee can get by Georgia um I'm not I'm going to say this I'm going to say um I'm going to say this uh Georgia is probably going to be back at number one um and unless Tennessee can figure out a way to beat them uh I do not see this happening um unfortunately I'm going to have to give this win to Georgia here um however say Tennessee is able to pull the upset excuse me pull the upset I think Tennessee would show they forced to be to be reckoned with um when they head into the final two weeks of the regular season then next week um the last home game of the season against UT um University of Texas at El Paso I'm GNA say this um Tennessee is going to win this game simply because UT is a weaker team um and so Tennessee is going to win this one and then the next week it's rivalry it's at Vanderbilt um I'm going to say this um Tennessee is is going to win this game simply because you know um simply because you know I just think that vanderbel is a weaker team and I do not think that you know like of course you know they finished two and 10 uh last season when went o Anda in the SEC um so they've not really had really great Seasons uh during the in the past few years um as well as the fact that you know of course in 2020 they went 0 and n and then then 2021 they went 2 and 10 and then they go 5- seven 2022 and then they go uh 2 and 10 2023 so Vanderbilt's got to figure things out in my opinion um and but however do I think they know Conclusion that they can figure things out to beat Tennessee I do not think so so I'm going to give this one to Tennessee here and yeah so this is the this is what I think's going to happen with Tennessee I think they're going to I think they could potentially make the new 12 team playoffs but however do I think they know but do I think Tennessee can go undefeated I do not think so I think that one loss to Georgia will be you know will be a bit of a turning point but however I think can show Tennessee it can be a force to be reckon with and um yeah so let's see what happens and keep in mind these are my predictions um I just want to I just um thought I cover Tennessee um and the rest of the SEC to see what I think will happen and see what see what happens in the regular season all right it's all I got for y'all tonight if y'all like this video leave a like subscribe
