Bren Brenan talked today a great deal about how it's not necessarily about preparing for the other team it's about being able to take care of business for Arizona that's how you would look at it right like they had the benefit of actually playing a really tough four quarter game which I I think there's benefits to that and then we have the benefit of having some tape on them I'm sure they see it the same way I would assume they do you know my message to the team is it's all about us it's about our process and how we prepare it's very very simple it's boring and it's not sexy and but it's all about you know just the detail of our our process and our preparation I you know I think that part is uh I think that sometimes gets lost with the whatever exposure the media friends family fans all that stuff you know but um it's it's always that it's about us and this football team and how we go about our business this week preparing for this game and then you know how we show up on Saturday um and my expectations are for us to play well and that would be my expectation every week and I totally agree with him in this day and age if you have a good football team it's more about what you do listen with New Mexico and na Arizona should be able to beat the snot out of both of those teams but then when it comes to Kansas State and Utah both those teams obviously very good as well but I think you need to really say Hey listen Arizona's the one that's got the All-American quarterback Arizona's the one that's got the best wide receiver in the country Arizona is the one that's got five possible All-American candidates and a defensive line that while unproven I think Bren Brennan put hit the nail on the head when he says I think you're going to see this team uh this group of players surprise a lot listen the time for games is over and right now Arizona's feeling good and I think Brent Brennan is certainly feeling good about it but again when you have a really good football team I think it's imperative to just be able to say that it's more about what we do than what the other team does there's a lot of people that are sleeping on Arizona and I think at this time a month from now they're not going to be sleeping anymore on Arizona [Music] [Applause] we all like the May
