let's go let's talk about Jay sail's Wyoming team just getting smacked around by Arizona State and I know you had a pick six basically on the second play of the game and then later on you had that backwards pass honestly I thought it was a forwards pass I'm sure Wyoming fans would agree but it wasn't going to change the outcome of this game because uh cam scadu had something to say about this and as well as this um defense for Arizona State I mean led by none other than Ryan Ward Sam leave it man I look I know this Wyoming team and we both picked we were like how was this spread only six and a half but I was honestly too scared to bet it oh yeah six and a half D yeah I was honestly too scared to bet it because I wasn't sure what this I mean not Marcus Ro Royo right you're bringing him as an offensive coordinator you expected to be able to run the ball more effectively with him and he did you know against the Wyoming front that's Adept to stopping the def we talked about Wyoming defense including their secondary just not a lot there not a lot there and I know that the staff is high onoda spoda is how you say his name Evan foda uh has being really good yeah it just did not look good was not slinging the pill uh all that well at all a couple interceptions uh that backwards pass that he short hopped that ended up leading to the scoop and score touchdown for Arizona State yeah this this team did not look good and uh I saw Jay saille was talking smack to someone a while back on Twitter some random like media reporter that was doing his job and he's like uh no qualifications I was like dang that's crazy they got smacked it is tough and what listen I think a lot of it's about that line I think it was a lot of uncertainty you mentioned about you know L and new offense coordinator and all that uncertainty about Arizona State and how they're going to look this year in year two for Marcus atfield but they came out they did their business which which not a lot of teams you know I think a lot a lot of teams struggled and week one is just so so scary as a fan base as coaching staff like just get through it just get through it especially if you're playing a game like this where it's the line is a little bit closer than you thought it was going to be we got a historically you know successful program in the Mountain West there Wyoming coming in your place last year you struggled against what southern Utah and you did you took care of business and you did early I mean you were up 48 nothing going in the fourth quarter like in the third quarter like that's what you need to do that's what you need to do and for Wyoming man it could be a long year it could be a long year I mean you still have BYU and North Texas in that out of conference slate and I know BYU you know were not super high on but they looked okay and red had over 300 yards again against Southern Illinois and we talked about North Texas and that G's on the road so we we'll see and obviously we talked about the Mountain West being a tough conference a tough conference this year and you're also you also draw Washington State too on the road so this is Wyoming I mean I look at their schedule man and a lot of teams Gonna Give You fits a lot of teams are going to give you fits and it was definitely a little bit frustrating and I took I took Arizona State I didn't feel great about it because you you didn't have obviously a lot of question marks there but this is kind of how it should be right for I think this is where he wants to be Cy dham for AR State just be controlling football games dominating having reserves and guys getting be able to play see what you have on your dep there too yeah and the running back room looked good um I mean you got plenty of bodies in there from scaboo to Brooke to Alton mcal relique Brown who we didn't even see because he's hurt so yeah gotta feel pretty good about this win right here I mean as as good as you could ask for as an Arizona State fan as Wyoming fans uh just just wait till you start playing games at home you know you guys know this I mean last year y'all were y'all went six and six in the regular season and you were five- one at home one and five on the road so just just wait till y'all get the Lar me there'll be some games that yall catch people so I'm not I am concerned about the spom team I'm not overly concerned right because we've seen the home road splits with this team are pretty drastic more drastic than any other team in college football which is amazing it's little nuances like that which is why we love college football [Music]
