before not in a good way either I feel like I'm doing almost like a walk of shame here coming back to Old Trafford after yesterday's defeat to Liverpool a shambolic performance by Manchester United get involved in the comments and let me know what you think about it we've done all the review but I'm going to give you a little bit of postmatch reaction that we didn't have yesterday cuz we had more quotes we've had more stats we've had more reaction so we're going to get into all that a big talking point yesterday was casmiro Casemiro I don't want a lay bit a point but it's worth addressing because it was a big one now Gary Neville spoke about casemiro's performance after the game and he said about taking off casemiro at halftime will reverberate around the dressing room he is one of the senior players he is one of the most experienced players in the league not in Premier League terms but in terms of where he's played how long he's played what he's achieved this is a what is it a five times Champions League winner the guy has been a phenomenal defensive midfielder now I tweeted yesterday at half time and I wasn't the only person to point this out so I'm not trying to say oh look at me Mr insightful but I said it felt like his West Brom uh Gary Neville at West Brom moment remember Gary Neville his final appearance of Manchester United was that 45 minutes against West Brom where he looked done he was get he was getting sort of moved uh sort of you know taken from Pillar To Post all over the Gaff he looked like he put on a little bit of weight as well and he was hooked at half time and I don't think he played a competitive game for Manchester United again now we spoke about this in the sort of postmatch an analysis that me and Joe did a new show that we're doing where we go into a little bit more of a deep dive on the the hous and wires of what happened at Manchester United during their last game and a bit more of a breakdown and um Joe saying well he doesn't think casemiro will turn to the manager to go look I'm done which is what Gary Neville did it was like a mutual decision NE Neville sort of said I'm struggling the manager went you're struggling and they both agreed that it was probably time for him to angle up his boots I don't see casemiro doing that but it felt like that kind of performance where you look at and you go is this the end of casemiro as a top level player there's been some suggestions last season we saw against brenford that was a year ago remember when I think he picked up a not but in that first half against brenford it was at fault I think for the for the goal brenford got had a bit well it wasn't just him it was a keeper as well which you know deja vu all over again um but he felt like oh are we looking at the decline of casemiro however pre-season earlier this season he looked a little bit better wasn't great yesterday was he that bad that you think he's done let me know what you you think in the comments in the chat obviously you hope not you hope we can still offer something because Manuel AG yes he's going to come in but if he gets injured or suspended then you're going to think that casemiro is probably your next Port of Call to be your defensive midfielder especially when you saw Toby Kia coming in to make his debut and he did struggle a little bit not having a dig at a kid because coming in at a two-nil loss or when you're two-nil down to Liverpool here at Old Trafford is probably the worst scenario you can come into but he did struggle a little bit against a very strong Liverpool team to be fair so you have to look it and go is casemiro our next option if ugat is injured because you think agatti would be first choice and that concerns me a little bit just on casemiro's numbers in case you're wondering was he that bad um I think it was 73% possession um 13 times I think he gave the ball away and it was one um one time he gave the ball away which led to a goal he was also dispossessed one it which was sort led to the second goal as well not a great afternoon for for casemiro at all the question is how fatal was it is this like an afternoon that that is that bad coming off a season that wasn't great where you go something needs to change now Bruno sort Fernandes Speaks Out stuck up for him a little bit postmatch he was saying it's not just about individuals I can not to talk about casemiro giving the ball away or cobby Mayo giving the ball away I'm not going to talk about that it's like is he sort of alluded to the idea and mention that it's the fact that the whole team has to take some responsibility and he's right because it wasn't just casemiro yesterday it'd be sort of reductive to just say it was just casemiro there was a little bit more than that and I think Adam Crafton one or two others pointed out about that uh tweeted about that and point it that out that you got to look at the team as a whole and think there wasn't a lot of players who covered themselves in glory my issue was those goals we conceded cost us a game I think that was it that was done and casemiro was at the heart of that but you saw even more reliable players like leandel minz in the second half made a big mistake managed to get away with it that could have le led to a goal and I love M Angel Martinez before anyone starts other players struggled attacking wise we were almost non-existent for about 85 minutes I think we had two chances for Joshua xery later on or maybe 75 minutes whatever it was not good enough at all going forward and then you look in the Midfield I thought kobby Mayu did have his best game he was one of our better players defensively though I don't want to do another postmatch analysis I've done it but I get the idea that it isn't just about casemiro we have to look a little bit further than that get involved in the chat in the comments and let me know what you think because obviously you look at the goalkeeper as well he struggled his distribution wasn't great and you saw him struggle for that solid goal where he left a big space these are issues that the manager's got to address Ten Hag Comments now on the manager he said he's not Harry Potter all straight away people have been quoting that going Harry Potter more like Brian Potter not even gra Potter I get it it is a bit of an on statement for the managers to make he's talking about the idea that he can't wave a magic wand around I think that's what har Potter has done it uh he can't wave that around don't roll your eyes producer Ethan some of us aren't Harry Potter fans I'm a 44 year old man all right um he can't wave my w around he's got players coming in making their sort of first start in the Premier League he mentioned that he mentioned the facts as well man you is going to be about a month to Le fit I understand all that the the issue you've got is we're not just talking about now hour we're talking about a manager in his third season and Manchester United and the Optics don't look great when you're going up against the manager who's in his third game and his team looked far more coherent take you to the cleaners it doesn't look great the issue is or the sort of Defense I would say is Annie slot inherited a team that was you know had a few worldclass players in that was pretty strong and he's just carried that on he's continued that didn't really make any signings and in a perverse way that's kind of helped him because his team's pretty settled and he just kicked on a little bit from last season but I'm not going to stand there and make excuses for tenak he needs to look at himself I think he's under serious pressure rud vanor is in that Dugout people are already looking at rud vanor as a potential successor to ER ten hack we're only three games in come back from the international break we've got a run there and I think we can assess it after that run and maybe about at Christmas we'll be have a clearer sort of idea on Eric Tan's future but there's no denying that a manager who loses two of his first three games in the season including one at home to Liverpool who finished eth last season with about 14 losses whatever it was isn't Under Pressure he is we all know that so let's not deny it let's just wait and see what happens because I don't expect anyos to make a decision now but one could be in the pipeline if things don't improve and they need to improve because I cannot be putting up with any more of that garbage that I witnessed here yesterday let's Rabiot move on just quickly on it's a sort of follow on from yesterday it say let's move on and I mention it again but there's a lot of people suggesting Adrian rabio is going to come in we need another midfielder I mentioned there Manuel agatti gets injured it's casemiro and people are doubting him people saying col's not ready is Adrian rabio the the the answer now he was linked with a club quite a lot we know we tried to get him a year ago he is a free agent at the time recording this anyway so there's some suggestion that maybe man united can go and get asan rabo and bring him in that ain't going to happen I'm going to stick me neck out and say it ain't going to happen he's been linked I think with Galatasaray they could be coming in for him there was some suggestions I think as it tribal football one of two other Publications was suggesting United could try and get him as a sort of you know another option in Midfield it would stink at desperation it would go it would fly in the face of all this idea that inos have a plan that the there's a real structure at the club that we know what we're doing with transfers if we went out we went oh we just lost 3-0 to Liverpool who can we get a free agent let's go and get him in the answer sort of or one of the answers hopefully to the problem will be Manuel agatti coming into this Midfield I know it takes a little bit more than that but I don't see Adrian rabio coming in at all there's some suggestions he could I think those are just nonsense so get involved in the chat and the comments let me know what you think I think if Adrian rabio was going to come to man unight he would have done it during the window for for English clubs I know he's still available but he would have done it in the last month or so or maybe even a year ago when we first went for him I don't see it happening now and if it did it would just think of desperation in Greenwood terms of transfers as well one player obviously went out the door um in the summer was Mason Greenwood now there's a story in the express and I think a few of papers and Publications have picked up on this as well Manchester United have got this sort of sell on Clause with Mar where we get I think anything between 40 and 50% of his sell on fee which could be huge because Mason Greenwood has been absolutely banging in the goals from Mar say and I've said it before and I will say it again he was always going to score lots and lots of goals once he left Manchester United that is not in any doubt there is a player who can potentially get 40 goals in a season it is going to happen we know why Mason Greenwood isn't a Manchester United player anymore and it has nothing to do with his ability his ability is second to on it's what went on off the pitch we don't need to go into it again but the fact that Manchester United will get a lot of money when Mar sell Mason Greenwich which I think they will in the next couple of years could be a positive for Manchester United the negative could be where he ends up because we might see him here against those Old Trafford banging in goals which is going to be a bit horrible but as I said earlier you know why I don't play for Manchester United we don't need to go
