everybody jumped on him and he has finally cut down his list to 10 we're going to talk about that today and why the Indiana hooers are continuing to Trend upwards with brilin Mullins also we have some updates from the TBT as assembly ball their run falls short in this round of 16 we'll talk about that and how they almost pulled off a miraculous miraculous comeback back and we're going to look at the schedule for Indiana football give you some of my top games that I'm looking forward to this fall as we get closer to football season well five star brilin Mullin I mentioned that he has released his top 10 and a guy that Indiana wants desperately okay this is one of the best players in the area one of the best players in the country he is a top 25 Prospect in the class of 2025 he's the shooting guard we've talked about him a lot on this program and other shows have as well because of all the different schools that he's being recruited by but brayan Mullin by the shooting guard who's 6 foot five in 2025 he's a three-point God he also is just a playmaker and he's got the size puts on a little muscle when he gets to college the kid's got to be a superstar okay he's just going to be a Difference Maker in any program that he goes to and I think the Indiana hooers well I know this that we are trending in the right direction not just because we're in his top 10 but because we were one of the first and we're one of the most active programs that continues to recruit bril and Mullen we're going to all of his events with Indiana Elite we're watching all of his aaou games we're sending Mike Woodson assisted coaches we're sending everybody we're sending the house okay when they were playing inside of Assembly Hall the team showed up to watch these guys play that's what Indiana has been doing with him and I think and I know that we are trending in the right Direction now we're not alone okay because this top 10 is as stacked as it comes all right listen to this this is in no particular order this is the top 10 for briland Mullen Purdue Yukon Tennessee Michigan North Carolina Kentucky Alabama Duke Kansas and Indiana so tell me this guy's not good okay every big blue blood in the country every big name historical program and even the new Bloods as well have offered this kid right your old school Indiana Duke Kansas Kentucky Michigan North Carolina Purdue Yukon and then even some of your newer Bloods I guess your new Bloods if you will Tennessee and Alabama like you're talking about the best coaches in the best programs in the world that have offered brillin Mullen in 2025 dozens and dozens more offered him but this is now his top 10 and I believe that Indiana still sits in a really really good spot we know he's got a bunch of official visits set up coming uh starting in just a few weeks right a handful of weeks that brillin Mullins will begin taking his official visits and I have a belief here I do I have a belief that brillan Mullin because we're trending in the right direction because the hooers continue to make progress here it's going to be a dog fight to the end right let me let me say that right now this is going to be a fight until the very end until the day that he commits and signs on the dotted line every team that what that I just listed in that top 10 is going to be a part of this thing okay now I believe that brillan Mullins could be the first Domino to fall for this Indiana recruiting class and I say that because of this all right he is going to cut his list to five at the end of October and he's got a bunch of official visits set up as I count them let's see three six seven so after all of his official visits he's going to cut it down to his top five and I believe that Indiana will be in that I really really do I firmly believe we will be inside of his top five but I think brillan could be the Domino the first one to fall everybody knows the domino effect right one goes they all go and I really do think he could be that because look at where his visit is okay he's going to Yukon on August 1st Michigan September 7th North Carol in September 14th this guy's going to be busy let me tell you what September 20th in Indiana we'll come back to that 28th at Alabama October 19th Tennessee and October 25th at Kentucky now his visit with Indiana we've told you this right he's not coming alone he's coming with his teammates from Indiana Elite Trent Sisley and Malachi Mareno two guys that the hooers are actively recruiting as well that's a big time bonus for Mike Woodson and the hooers now I've told you that I hate being squeezed in the middle but since he's taking so many visits hey maybe he forgets his time at Yukon or maybe nobody can compare to the hooers after that I don't know we're gonna have to wait and see I don't love where we sit in His official visit lists um but you got to take what you can get and on September 20th he will be here brayan Mullen along with Trent Sisley and Malachi Marino and the recruiting pitch is simple look you guys have been playing together at Indiana Elite you guys are winning games and running the Championships why don't you come do that here at the next level in Bloomington Indiana why don't you stay home two of you and bring the other one with you from the state below and come and be future Indiana hooers it's a it's a home run selling pitch it really is and if Mullin goes and commits to the hooers which I don't think he would do it after that visit I think since he has uh three more after that I don't think he's going to do that I think he's going to wait until he makes his official um official visits or I guess once he gets all those out of the way then he'll make his official decision um but I do believe that after his last visit at Kentucky on October 25th um I believe that um he will cut his top five and I think Indiana will be in it I really do and I continue to think and know that we're trending up here we're doing the right things we're doing everything we're supposed to if you're Mike Woodson and his staff they're in on this kid they're going to be there till the end then it comes down to what does he want to do if you can pitch that he can come play with his teammates great if they don't want to come here okay you can pitch that he can be the guy he can be the next shooting guard at Indiana and we've had a lot of good ones we've had some really good ones historical ones guys that are playing and have played in the NBA that's what you have to tell brayan Mullin I think the hoers are in a great spot and you're in his top 10 he'll be on campus the weekend of September 20th he'll be visiting with his aaou teammates Trent siisy and Malachi Moreno coming up here on lockdown hooers we will put an end to tournament and with Indiana having a squad that's been running the assembly ball team which look I love the name it's fantastic right there's some really unique names side note there's some really awesome unique names um uh in this TBT you've got the herd right you've got um assembly ball War Ready like you have a lot of cool names in there at at the TBT and the Indiana team assembly ball made it all the way to the round of 16 I keep calling it The Sweet 16 I don't think they technically call that since that's the March Madness round but it's the same idea right assembly ball made it to the round of 16 on Tuesday night but unfortunately they did um did get beat and their run does come to an end because at that point it's it's just single elimination throughout this thing and look this was a very up and down game assembly balls played really really good up to this point guys like Yogi frell have had really good games and he catches fire at the end of this I'll get to that but this team is just really well balanced and there's a couple of squads that are just stacked in this tournament and that's why they're going to try and compete and win a million dollars in this thing um but the problem with assembly ball on Tuesday night was they fell behind and they fell behind early early and they were playing catchup they allowed a big second quarter even more in the third quarter I mean they were just fighting from behind the entire time right and if you're unfamiliar with how the TBT works you get to a certain time and then you add eight points which is then called a Target score and it's called an Elam ending all right eam Elam ending which all it means is all right once you play a certain amount of time whichever team has the lead we're going to add eight points to their total and the first team of that total wins it doesn't matter if it's tied if you're up by 20 if it's a one-point game doesn't matter whatever that leading team has Whoever has then they add eight to it and the winner is the one that gets to that first so you always have a game-winning basket that's the reason they do it and I think that's really unique I think it's really really cool that they do that um behind a second quarter and then a big time third quarter as well where you saw uh the everin drive team team um have a 17-point lead at one time in that third quarter right you had a chance where this Indiana assembly ball team they made a push they made a run um they were able to to get it all the way within two all right at the start of the Elam ending right where they added that eight points it was 74 to 60 we're down by 14 points Target score easy math tells you it's 82 you're thinking all right it's probably over they gotta score eight we got to score a boatload it's probably not going to be doable but then all of a sudden right then all of a sudden the three-point line got hot Yogi frell started knocking down a couple he even got an assist on one as well and here comes assembly ball right here comes the Indiana Affiliated team in the TBT they got this thing all the way to a one-point deficit they were down 80 to 79 they fought all the way back and then a tip in at the end is what gives everin Drive the 82 to 79 win ball game's over they're moving on and assembly ball goes home overall this was a really fun team to watch and I wish they could have kept going we would have kept talking about it here on lock on hooers but what a fun team this was to watch and and I told you this the other day it's just so fun to watch guys like Miller cop and and and Yogi frell and just all these guys that play or have some affiliation to Indiana right there's a lot of teams that play in this tournament where there are players that didn't actually play at that school but they have some sort of an affiliation right you get invited you accept it you go through the process whatever but it's really neat to see some of these old school guys not just on the Indiana team but across all these TBT teams it's just really neat to see some of these guys back on the floor in playing not college ball but high level basketball I mean this is this is borderline professional basketball it's not obviously NBA level but these guys play play highle college ball and a lot of these guys played somewhat professional ball whether it be the NBA or whether they played um you know overseas and Germany China whatever um these are highlevel guys and sure there's some older dudes in there but good for them getting some run in and they're still hanging around trying to compete for a million dollars but this was a really really fun tournament to watch and it's not over right it's not over the assembly ball team got themselves a couple of wins they beat uh the crew which is the perzo team and they also beat minth macki which is the Purdue team so look I said this the other day Silver Lining Silver Lining you didn't win at all but you got to beat Purdue which is always fun we're always looking to beat Purdue in everything that we do and so you've still got the round of I guess the yeah the best of eight the final four and then the championship game for the TBT and I hope that this assembly ball Squad I hope most of them uh can stay together I hope most of them come back for a run at it next year but man there's some really good team I mean that team we played last night was a really really good squad well coached just well-rounded guys that have played together quite a bit I mean that's that's a really good team and so I don't think assembly ball should hang their heads at all I enjoyed it I I want to know what you think you can comment down below uh if you're on YouTube do you do you watch the tvt do you keep up with the tournament do you keep up with assembly ball are you big into like a lot of these teams make uh big announcements when they add a add a player like they'll add a player once every week or two weeks leading up to the TBT do you keep up with that at all I'm just kind of curious on how many people are watching this keeping up with it tuning in I know a lot of these teams too they take donations right they they take um fans like you who are fans of Indiana and former players in alumni that are a part of the group and they take donations for travel things like that are you a part of that I'm curious I just kind of want to know where everybody sits in terms of the tvt but unfortunately it was a heartbreaker but we did watch assembly ball lose last night and they lose 82- 79 to the everin drive team they'll move on to the round of eight well coming up in our final segment on lockon hoer is going to look on the football side of things as we get closer to the season some of the games that I'm looking forward to on this Indiana football schedule with Kurt signi in year one under Indiana what games are going to be exciting maybe some of those flip games right those 5050 coin flip games is what I meant to say and football kicks off in about a month ladies and gentlemen and with that I want to look at this Indiana football schedule and just look at some of the games that I am excited about right some of the games that could be interesting could be a lot of fun which ones do the hooers have to take care of in 20124 if we want this to be a successful season now we're going to have some segments as we get closer about expectations and win totals and predictions and things like that but just looking at the schedule to give ourselves a little bit of a a reminder with all the media days going on big 10 media days and things like that here's what Indiana's football schedule looks like okay home versus FIU Florida International H versus Western Illinois you open up Big 10 play across the country I'm not happy about this at uccla you then host Charlotte host Maryland on September 28th to open up October you go on the road to Northwestern you come back home from Nebraska and Washington you have a bye weekend between Northwestern and Nebraska by the way you also after you host Washington you go on the road to take on Michigan State you get the Wolverines of Michigan at home home thankfully inside a Memorial Stadium by week before you go to Columbus to take on the butt guys and then you host Purdue to end the season am I crazy to say that the schedule's not all that bad am I crazy to say that am I am I just getting ahead of myself here am I getting too excited you can yell at me if I need to say Jacob chill out man this schedule's ridiculous the big 10's a tough conference and the hooers are gonna be struggling I just don't see it I don't know I don't believe that you start out 2 and 0 hopefully right we struggled with these games last year um and and I'm hoping that Kurt cetti brings in a new mindset a new mentality right a new effort level in these types of games the fius and the Western Illinois like look let's just be real we're not out of state right now as a program in Indiana to just say oh yeah that's a 40-point win next we're just not there which I hate that but it's the truth we're just not to that point right now so you hope that we can win against Florida International and Western Illinois let's be real on the road at UCLA that's going to be tough but I'm excited for that that's really really neat besides having to travel to California to Los Angeles um for a conference game which don't get me started on that I'll I'll go on a whole te about that I'm excited to see how we do how do we do in our first real test because you're going to have two games where if you do your thing and you show up and play you're going to win and probably win handily but then you go and you get a big one out of the gates I don't think UCLA is going to be all that good of a football team but I think that's more of just the trip more than anything and and hopefully some of you hooer fans travel out to Los Angeles maybe you got some hooer fans out there in LA that listen to the show and and gonna be at the game let me know would love to hear from you you then come back home for two more games against Charlotte and against Maryland now that's a good Maryland Team all right people have seen that Maryland logo in the past and people like to override it Overlook it and not give them a whole lot of respect that's a low-key nasty Maryland team okay but if you beat Charlotte which you should okay you have Maryland at home and that's a game that I have circled on the schedule right now that's an opportunity game for Kurt cetti and this Indiana football team you win that game and things are looking up that's a game that you will not be favored in you're not supposed to win people everybody across the country will pick Maryland to win that game on the road here in Bloomington and the hooers can shock the world and win that game and then everything's in front of you at that point you're on the road at Northwestern who is oh goodness terrible okay that's a bad team their stadiums not even they're playing in a in a renovated half stadium On The Water Somewhere I don't even know it's kind of weird looking uh so opportunity there you come home after a bye we okay so if you get to that point you feel like you're doing okay you have Nebraska at home which who knows what the heck they're going to be this year you do bring Washington here which I think is really really unique I'm excited to see these new teams step into Memorial Stadium and and allow um Indiana to play new teams play new guys see new coaches and new faces and Washington will be one of those they're still going to be a solid team but nowhere near the national championship contending team that they were a year ago but it's still a tough game at least it's at home though you don't have to go out to Washington then you go on the road to Michigan State who will they be better this year Heck if I know who knows Michigan State's been just down in the dumps for for a while now so they got to get it together Michigan is an interesting team too because they've still got a lot of talent I don't care that they have a new coach and they just won the title and everybody left them and everybody's gone it's still Michigan that doesn't change anything and so that'll be a tough one but it is at home all right so a lot of of our big games Michigan Washington Nebraska Maryland those are all here in Bloomington I think that really really helps us out here you go to Ohio State in Columbus we'll just leave that for what it is and then at the end of the year when everything is said and done you've got Purdue at home last year don't want to talk about it this year you got it at home and you have a chance to get one more win I got to look up and see what the updated win totals are for the hooers I'm sure it's way too low sure we're not getting any respect and I guarantee I'm going to disagree with it because you know what I'm overconfident sometimes and I believe in Kurt sedy and this football team I'm excited about the trip to UCLA Maryland at home how about Washington at home and some opportunities with Michigan and Purdue right here in
