First Look at The Carolina Panthers Official Depth Chart!

what is going on guys welcome back to the channel Panthers advice today man we're gathered around in this waiting room because what I'm about to show you doesn't mean that this is the final outcome it could get better it could trust me or it could get worse so what I'm about to show you guys just remember this is how it looks right now but there is a chance we get better we get stronger and this all looks good come January February or it could look even worse come October November so without further Ado man let's jump into the Panthers official first death chart for the 2024 season man let's get it so now man let's look at the death chart let's start with the quarterback Bryce shung Andy Dalton Jake plumber and they resigned Jake L from last year that kind of shocked me a little bit I wasn't too impressed with his preseason performance but I mean it's preseason so we'll see what happens maybe Dave likes something about him next up is running backs man you got chuba hubard miles Sanders Raheem blackshire Mike Boone Jaden Sheran Dylan Johnson and you got Jonathan Brooks that's seven running backs right there who's going to make the team know chuba is miles is most likely Raheem now here's where it gets interesting can Jaden or Dylan do enough during preseason to keep a spot or overtake I would assume Raheem we'll see what happens right there Jonathan Brooks is on IR right now so Jaden or Dylan they have a chance now Dylan he's a bigger back I'm actually looking forward to see how he does in preseason let me know your thoughts on that guys but now let's jump to receivers because this is where it gets really interesting so as we talk about receivers you got Deontay Johnson one Mingo two Adam thielen is three before we talk about the rest of the guys let's just talk about these guys right here in general Deontay Johnson most likely is going to be the X he can line up on the line and off the line and still create separation mingo's going to be the Z so he's going to line up off the line he doesn't do bad on the line creating separation just not as good as Deontay Johnson and you've seen the chemistry Deontay and Bryson to have already and Adam thielen is obviously going to be number three the why this is huge why because Adam thien was really playing X Y and Z last year and still did what he did if we can get any type of production out of Deontay Johnson and Mingo this year that means Adam thel's going to be open So Adam th could potentially match his yards this year with way less catches if everything goes well right so this I'm kind of excited for again we'll have to see what happens can the line hold up can the receivers run their routes can we make some good throws good catches you know but with that being said let's talk about the second and third string so as you talk about second string you got TMJ backing up Deontay Johnson you got XL backing up Mingo now there's a lot of people who weren't thrilled with XL not being in the first string here's the thing like I said in the beginning of the video this is just a dep chart they're just giving you a rough idea this means honestly nothing when it's all said and done because it's the first death chart and it's what August 5th the game's not for another month a month and a week I think so this honestly means nothing they're just giving you a rough idea so behind Adam THM though is Amir Smith marett the team's not bad first and second string we have a little bit of dep there behind them you got Mike you got Coker and you got David Moore Coker is one that could jump up as well I don't know who he's going to jump though because it won't be Exel could be TMJ but honestly man he's looked pretty good too you know we've been waiting on him to break out could this year be the year we'll see what happens so that's going to wrap up the receivers now let's jump to tight ends number one Tommy tremble number two Ian Thomas like I said before don't overreact to the this this literally means nothing right behind them you got Sanders you got Jordan Matthews you know trembles Sanders Matthews all tight ends that Dave is gonna like to use what's he gonna do with Ian Thomas I would assume something otherwise Ian Thomas won't be on the team so just have faith right I mean maybe you ran out of Faith by now but I'd like to have faith that Dave is going to do something with the tight ends you got Felipe Franks Jacob Hollister and Jesper horse de looks like so right now they have seven tight ends as well about three or four of those are going to go now let's talk about the offensive line before we jump into the defense so starting at left tackle you got icky right there now here's the thing he's been catching a lot of slack one thing I encourage you guys to do is actually look at the blocking scheme right fiveman protection six-man protection a blitz coming in was it on him or was it on the center or Bryce youngk for not picking up the mic who's coming in from which direction right so yes iy has struggled all last year but you know I watched training camp some of those weren't his fault he picked up his correct guy so that's all I encourage you to do and really with all of them so you got icky Damen Lewis Corbett Robert hunt Taylor moton behind them you got Ricky Chandler Cade Brady and badera I don't know if I'm pronouncing that right let me know if I am or not not bad you know I like Chandler as a backup I like Kade Maids as a backup same thing with Brady I didn't love them starting if I'm being honest but as a backup I'm completely okay with that as far as the front five icky I think Dave can kind of get him back to where he was two years ago Damen Lewis I mean it speaks for himself Corbett no give him some time Robert hunt that dude's huge then you got Taylor bowton didn't love him last year if I'm being honest hopefully he'll improve this year so let me know what you guys think of the offensive line now let's jump to the fun part the defense all right guys let's jump into the defense right here we got Xavier Woods Jordan Fuller those are going to be our starting safeties Woods was on the team last year I was kind of give and take with him sometimes I saw glimpes of Hope sometimes I was like oh I don't know about all that so we'll see what happens this year hopefully the offense is it going to keep going three and out and keep putting the defense back out there every two or three minutes so right there Xavier Woods Jordan Fuller starting safeties backing them up Nick Scott Alex Cook Clayton demon looks like and Sam Franklin Jr who was on the team last year as well let's jump to the DBS this is where it gets interesting JC horn Dane Jackson those are one-w then you got Troy Hill playing the nickel backing them up Lamar Jackson who is getting talked about quite a bit in training camp you got bule you got sha Smith Wade I'll say this not bad right not great but not terrible you know lar might have potential ble he's shown flashes every now and then sha Smith Wade he's a rookie so we'll see what happens right there if JC horn can stay healthy right that's the big F you know Dane Jackson's pretty good Troy Hill playing as a nickel not bad either the team might not be bad but if JC horn goes down then it's going to get scary man so with that being said defensive backs we have potential but can the Carolina Panthers stay healthy man we'll see what happens now let's jump to the linebackers so we're going to start with outside linebackers you got DJ Johnson you got Javan Clowney they're going to line up opposite from each other inside's going to be Shaq and Josie I like this linebacking core right here I know a lot of you guys aren't too thrilled with Shaq but once again it all comes down to if everyone stays healthy this is a pretty Beast linebacking core it might be might be top 10 top 12 in the NFL in all seriousness Clowny he's looked explosive Shaq Thompson Josie juwel was a beast in Denver and DJ Johnson apparently man everything is clicking for him rookie year we saw glimpses but everybody is talking about DJ Johnson coming through behind them kbon cladin trevan Wallace and I can't wait for him and EKU right there not too bad if you ask me guys I mean Caleb on behind them Trevon Wallace too pretty good let's talk about the defensive ends asan Robinson and Derek Brown and asan's huge I mean Derek Brown is huge too but ason he's big you got sha Tuttle in the middle TJ Smith Nick Thurman leban Wright who was also on the team last year now let's jump to the fun stuff our special teams all right so kick returner we got Raheem pun returner you got Amir Smith marett Long Snapper is JJ punter is Johnny and kicker is Eddie nothing too crazy right here you know backing up they're just flipping it so Amir Smith is a backup kick returner pun return is gonna be Raheem third string is Devon Tomkins fourth string is David Moore so that right there pretty much wraps up the dev chart let me know your thoughts you know like I said before when it comes to the receiving core and who's first string who second string in all reality it doesn't
