well for the Chicago sky in the last couple of games has really taken upon her shoulders to be more aggressive offensively two offensive possessions two buckets for the fever both these teams play Fast fever plays one of the fastest teams in transition in this league and Chicago they're trying to find their footing they're trying to get back to flowing and playing in Freedom cam cardoso drafted little bit obviously with the Olympic break the allstar break this team the players had some time to breathe to work on their game and and you can see the the growth with the team as a whole is much much better at least I got a chance to catch up with general manager Lyn Dunn and we talked about that that start that TD start that Indiana had the the scheduling gods did them no favor but she actually credited the success that they're having right now to that rough start because it didn't break them they were able to overcome they were able to learn they were able to grow and she feels like that's why they were able to beat Connecticut the other night you post up look for Angel Reese and a foul call against Nelissa Smith that is her first final two minutes have come down to the final few possessions to the aces Washington Connecticut all three losses here for this guy Michaela Onan has inserted herself or has been inserted into the starting lineup since the marina maybr back to Caitlyn's passing Lisa we we've seen the three-point shooting and and the Deep range we've never seen a woman's basketball player at the Collegiate level and that can pass the way that she can players won't score you a lot of points right now but they give you some leadership as you mentioned blocking rebounding defense in particular for tamy and you got to have players like that Christy sides is one of the person that understands that the the players who can fill the different roles on W from the Baseline in the quarter and again the lead is one Chicago has been good all year in their out of- bounds execution Caitlyn Clark one triple into that that was a heat check three of four from three for Clark Allen using the rescreen in the corner Onan triple penetration and trying the foul once again against benle her second it's a great decision by Mich Onan to attack the close out but I saw a lot of indecision at the beginning of this play with Isabelle Harrison and Dana Evans best when she's not thinking and transition when she can just catch and go and get to the rim she's very good very effective Diamond has dealt with you know injuries really in the last couple years of of her career but the the 12 points was nice to see it was like the diamond of old the diamond of the first few years in the league 12 points it's it's been a minute since she has had that kind of their losses with the few exceptions they it they've been close in fact their last three games it was tied with the two minutes left in the game it's because of the way they play they're always in a game because of what they can do defensively they score the majority of their points off turnovers and in transition walking violation four ties five different lead changes between these two Rivals well turnovers now nine turnovers here for the sky for they're coming off a game where they had 23 crucial turnovers against Washington on Wednesday Smith for three drills it like it's nothing Smith's 14th three-point make of the season now Lissa is only shooting about 33% from the three but she picks and chooses and the threes she takes are good threes and they're they flow out of the offense as she looked good on that shot diamond Shields looking to penetrate split the defense again a blocking foul drawn against Kelsey Mitchell her third personal and it's the fifth team foul also a shooting
