hello do you think Colorado has made any substantial improvements compared to last season and how do you feel the team looks after the game against North Dakota State well Shannon sharp ain't that optimistic let's talk about [Music] it the Buffs came out on top with the win over North Dakota State and I hate to say but they didn't dominate in the fashion we all like to see North Dakota was literally four yards away from taking the game and as I said in previous videos I personally think Colorado has improved with regard to incoming transfers and looking at some of the behind the scenes footage but I wasn't sure about their defense given some of the things we seen last year so I felt the only way to get a true evaluation of them was to see them in the first game and after seeing that first game I have to ask is is a team making honest mistakes or is this something similar to the team we seen last season well Shannon sharp appears to believe so he was discussing the Buffs on night cap and talking about not being impressed with their performance I'm going to play a clip and I'll get right back to you with my thoughts check it out they win the game but I saw a lot of the things that I saw last year oo they still can't generate pressure and when they bring pressure they don't get they're not Gap sound that's why the quarterback hit his head on the go post late in the ball game we saw it down does guy inter and guend Guy CCH you have you off to feel what do you do you off to feel on third day you line up off Sid what happens you stop him and and Shiloh late hits the guy it's the same thing right that was last year the undisciplined this yeah come we you can't if you're trying to win the one thing you can't do is beat yourself and I'm sure time is telling them guys we as you go up now look North Dakota State we know what they represent at the level with the FCS in which the level that they play at they're one of the Premier teams in all of FCS in the history of that of that division right you into a conference is it bro these teams are going to be better than North Dakota State it just it is what it is Def and you can't make those silly mistakes that you made against this team now as much as I'm a fan of Colorado I think Shannon sharp has a point as I said in my previous videos although I thought the bus made improvements to the team with regard to transfers I still felt unsure about the defense because of some of the things we seen last season and I felt behind the scenes footage wasn't enough to justify or getting a true evaluation but as Shannon sharp said there wasn't anything different as we seen opposed to last year aside from the defense having issues that were clearly exploited they also consistently shot themselves in the foot with regard to penalties as Shannon sharp also said Shiloh got a penalty deep inside the second quarter which resulted in the loss of a turnover on down and this can be correlated to the penalties he received in crucial moments last year such as targeting and uh personal fouls now I do think the defense can make a lot of improvements if they work on game situations where they're exploited and most importantly work on discipline however the improvements need to come quick because also as Shannon sharp said this was an FCS Team Al be at one of the best FCS teams but the point is the competition is only going to get more difficult as the season goes on and if they expect to be one of the national cont National Championship contenders they can't struggle with a team that should be a for sure win but you let me know what you think down in the comments was Shannon sharp right did he get a right opinion is Colorado making improvements are they still lacking or are we seeing the same things that we seen last season let me know what you think down in the comments at the same time I want to thank everybody who's watching subscribe if you haven't subscribed like if you like my videos and I'll catch you guys in the next video peace
