Cody Durden vs Matt Schnell | UFC Expert Predictions, UFC Fight Night Picks and Best Bets

uh let's keep going here on the main card and this is a short short notice replacement and Cody Duran uh is gonna ride into Vegas here to take on Matt Danger Schnell Now Matt is a big Underdog which is a little bit ironic I mean we know what Cody wants to do he wants to wrestle he wants to Grapple and I think Matt would like to keep this thing standing to have some chance uh with the Striking but for a short replacement guy coming in here like Cody Duran at minus 280 Maddie is that number too big or do you think the wrestler should be uh this big a favorite I so I know Cody Duran's on short notice here I've heard a lot of stuff about like you know is he not even have like a coach or corner or something I heard something he said it's just him and his I think him and his wife he's an idiot it's ridiculous I mean what are we doing here but it's like Rocky having Adrian in the corner he just got slaughtered too like he just got planted by like Bruno Silva I mean that and yeah but he looked he looked so good good early good he should have TKO so he should have TK Brun that was only a month ago he got knocked out cold a month ago and he's back and he's almost a$ three betting favorite and but I think that speaks to match Snell's chin and that's why look based on what I saw out of Cody's last fight and based on what I've seen out of match's chin this to me was Auto KO bet like I I want to go big on this too but like well there are some concerns like like what I just mentioned like with him not having a corner and all this stuff in short notice and obviously there's some red flags but the tape is the tape to me his hands looked very good in his last fight he's aggressive I could see him getting around one or two KO in this spot match now is no Chin whatsoever Cody Duran is probably going to go For Broke in this fight he he feels like he was the better fighter in his last fight and he ended up you know just making a mistake and then get put away but he he looked as good as I've ever seen him look in his last fight now he has been subbed by higher level submission guys so you know I think there's definitely a world where match could win like a round two three sub um but I gotta trust that Cody Duran's gonna be able to to find his dude Shin so I'm gonna take him by knockout you getting a nice price there to get D Duran is almost a$ three betting favor turn that into a plus uh on the price tag there for Duran by K and that's not the way we normally think of Cody Duran and you're right against Bruno Silva he his hands did look a lot better uh and he was winning that fight mixing in the grappling as well until he got caught so so Kyle we got rocky being trained by Adrian is what it sounds like to me that's going to be not good is there anyone worse than Adrian how much did you hate ad tell me you hate Adrian as much as I did oh God always just let him Fight You Can't Win until the the the fight the beat scene I did like that when she dug it out of him but neither here nor there in Rocky 3 and that really spurned Rocky into a great second half of his career but I wonder if that's the advice we're getting for Cody Duran if it's coming from wifey and if that's going to be enough to propel you against Matt Danger Chanel my concern I like where Matty's head's at but to me that sounds like that better happen early because I don't know his cardio if it's going to be there late if this fight gets late let me just say this if like me you and Maddie were at the bar we're getting too drunk we're talking some [ __ ] and then we find out two UFC fighters want to fight us and we're all nervous and then we walk out and we see that it's Matt Schell and Cody Duran we're like oh thank God right oh sweet we we're gonna Matt can beat them both Matty's got it we we're fine D we can leave we're totally chill uh I don't know like I agree like matchell like awful chin like sh and Ross type chin right like it's not good uh but Cody Jan's all like I can't even find it where the hell is this fight like no one wants to put this fight up but Schnell by it's to me it's Duran by knockout early like you say or Schnell by sub that's I think it's Matt schnell's Only Hope either he like he gets hit gets knocked down gets his fight to the ground is able to pull off a submission these guys are so I just I couldn't I couldn't do anything here I can't back matchell and I can't take D at this price a month after a knockout so it's it's method of Victory to me is if you're if you're have to bet this fight or your match's cousin or you grew up down the street from Cody deran or something it's and you're doing a unit half of it on Duran by knockout I agree with with Maddie there although that number is ridiculously low plus 125 for a guy like Cody Duran to knock someone out it's awful but it just tells you how bad Matt schnell's chin is and then you're probably getting I don't know what you're getting on Schnell by sub but probably in the five four five to one range that's where I would that's where I'd be going half unit each way those are the me method to victory for both guys in my view uh I will say like Schnell has shown some ridiculous uh recoverability if that's such a word we've seen that happen before right he's been in some wild fights that you go how in the world has this guy knocked not been knocked out so Duran better do that because somehow Danger Schnell seems to be able to survive that but if he can't at that plus money that you're getting an almost a $3 betting favorite from Maddie by KO at plus 25 I have not figured out a way to get home yet on this fight I'm still looking for a way but that might be ultimately Duran early or Schnell does seem to make a lot of sense for what it's worth [Music] he
