Intro [Music] UFC 36 these are the full card predictions and the betting breakdown I'm looking forward to talking about each of the matchups on this not UFC card so make sure you guys smash the like UFC 306 full car fight companion I can't wait this card is going to be a lot of fun they're saying it's a once-in-a-lifetime event and I know it's gotten a bit of flak for maybe not being as stacked as it could have been I still am predicting violent fights and it's going to be an epic night so let's jump right into the picks Raul Rosas Jr. vs. Aoriqileng first fight on the card we have rul Rosas Jr versus arichi long I'm going with rul Rosas Jr arii long has questionable takedown defense especially especially when he takes on somebody with the pressure and ability to Grapple in control like Raul Rosas has like I feel like you look at Ros sas's game he's developing kind of at a decent rate for someone only not even 20 [ __ ] he'll be a day away from being 20 years old at the damn fight so for a 19-year-old he's made some great development he has freakish physical strength that's more reflective of like somebody who's 28 it doesn't seem like he's just a 19yearold he's very heavy in the top position he's got good grappling control he's got good submission threats and he's got good submission defense he's gritty he fought hard to get out of Ricky turos is rear naked choke attempt on him in round number one there and then he ends up strangling turos in that fight I like Rosas because of his relentlessness in the grappling his striking is me it's okay it's developing it's not a strong point of his game and it's not a path to Victory here now on the other side arichi long does have pretty good boxing he has quick hands overall and he actually sets up combinations well especially after ripping a nice low kick and looking to close the gap thereafter but I do feel as though when he's forced backwards he kind of falls apart a bit especially with rosu who has good clinch takedowns I think that's going to be a major factor in this fight a long is more so striking based and he's looking to get up to his feet and bang not going to be easy to do with ra Rosas Jr who I think is going to keep on him stay tight put the consistent pressure and I think he's going to work towards a submission I'm going roseu by sub and you know what's interesting arichi long was taken down a few times by Jay perin and if you guys remember rul Rosas Jr made Jared perin his [ __ ] when they fought so I think there is a solid difference in the grappling skill sets and I really think arichi long is going to have a ton of trouble dealing with the consistent onslaught of takedown control from R Rosas Jr and I do think Rosas Jr is live to win by submission I'm calling a rear naked choke I think he's going to take the back of a Richie long probably in the second round and he's going to tap him out so we're going rul Rosas Jr by sub at noce UFC now as far as the ODS wow Raul Rosas Jr is such a big favorite can they give us a damn break with these disgusting Raul Rosas odds at some point minus 705 you can't moneyline it ever plus 505 for arichi long what's an under two and a half do we have that they got under one and a half of course minus 140 but I like under two and a half I'm going to predict that R Rosas Jr probably gets a rear naked choke in the second round I'm calling rear naked choke I'm Mystic macking it with the round could be in the first it could be in the third maybe he grinds out a decision either way rul Rosas Jr's Relentless grappling style is going to be too much for AI long and I just predict this to be a kind of breakout performance for Raul as he continues to slowly climb up the ranks and make people forget about that CR Rod fight which in all actuality has aged nicely CR Rod's pretty good two straight wins since then two straight finishes arichi long I mean he was getting out struck pretty clean by Daniel Mar before the damn backto backto back grin strikes on both fronts he beat a Johnny Munoz Jr who I know is a Jiu-Jitsu black belt but doesn't have the same efficiency in wrestling control and like positional transitions to actually finish that Raul Rosas has you can see a loss there to aan zahab he got caught in like one shot that was a quick fight that was surprising too but Raul Rosas Jr to win the fight good fight to start the card off I'm looking forward to seeing ra Rosas Chi Weis Little W to start the night so we're riding with him next fight on the card we got Edgar chyz Edgar Cháirez vs. Joshua Van versus Joshua van I'm going with Joshua van I know he's stepping in on relative short notice but if there's anybody that can go out and do it it's van and we saw it this pass card with Cody Duran stepping in on four days notice go out and get a massive win over Matt Schnell I have been highly touting Joshua van as an upand cominging Contender for you know probably the next 24 months he's not even 23 yet he's a few days shy of it at fight day but I do think he has top 15 potential there's a ton of promise I mean he started training MMA at what 19 and he's already this good I cannot imagine him in three years I cannot imagine him in a year from now he got knocked out by Charles Johnson and I'm GNA sound like a dirty coper but I'm going to do some cope go and rewatch that knockout I know that the way he went down after the uppercut was bad and his head bounced back but Joshua van was starting to get up and try to fight now of course he may have got ground and pound stopped a few seconds thereafter but I do think the ref could have let him absorb a few I would have liked to see it because Joshua van I do think has nice recovery so I like Joshua van here he's a dangerous dangerous patient pressure Striker he does take his time he's not a guy that's going to rush combinations but he's definitely looking to do damage and he is offens minded he rips to the B really nicely alongside of his big head shots that he decides to rip and I feel like overall I will rate him as a high caliber kickboxer with a very good pressure style and seemingly showing a lot of improvements against Charles Johnson ultimately before he got knocked out but he was starting to really come together and I thought he was looking better than ever before up until he got flattened but this fight is weird because I will mention something Edgar chyz is dangerous Edgar shirez is awkward Edgar shirez is very long with a 72in reach he's going to have a 7in reach advantage over Joshua van but Edgar chrus does not have the same level of boxing skill that Joshua van has shers has relatively decent kickboxing I'd say he has okay straight shots but more so going to be ripping heavy leg kicks and he'll mix it up with the strikes he does have high volume but it's not necessarily crisp or extremely slick it's more so throwing shots and you know risking dangerous positions at times on the feet to maybe engage in grappling and look for a sub even though shz I would say is a decent Striker I do think the submission threat is more where he would win against a guy like Joshua van Edgar shyres too if you watch that Contender series fight back against Clayton Carpenter he was throwing a lot of jump knees as Carpenter would look to enter the pocket and I know Clayton Carpenter is a different style than Joshua van but it was kind of a Relentless pressure attack the difference is Clayton Carpenter was mixing in some takedowns I think Joshua van will be mixing in punches to the body and I think he will wear on an Edgar chyz finish strong and take home a unanimous decision I just feel like Joshua Van's game AF I still think he's a special talent and even though he lost and it was really disappointing to see him get flattened as a fan of Joshua van I was sad I think he's got a bright future in the game I'm not writing him off just yet I think he's going to win against Edgar chyz chyz he's got that Daniel Lera win but what else a no contest with Lera oh he got a good submission attempt on Tyra at the very end of the fight okay we're gonna rate him just off that I'm not I'm going Joshua van to take it home on short notice now Joshua van opened up as a minus 300 favorite the line has come down a bit Edgar chyz is a plus 180 Underdog so I am going to be picking Joshua van is it an over two and a half minus 70 for the over 2 and a half I don't necessarily love the over let me tell you why I don't love the over because of the violent styles on both fronts Joshua van has legit knockout power Edgar shyres does have legit submission skills and a submission threat but uh ultimately I don't think Joshua Van's gonna sell I think he'll be all right he got submitted in his Pro debut by rear naked choke he was just getting wrestle [ __ ] by the opponent and he was still dropping some hammers on him on the feet and I don't think chyz has that High Caliber of takedowns where I feel all too worried about how Joshua van will do defensively in grappling positions I like van on the feet I like van dropping Hammers and I'm going van to get it done it's potentially a knockout but I'll call a decision right now but I could see a KO you wouldn't be crazy to call it it's just it's got to be body shots because chyz has got that Mexican chin and you know they can eat next fight on the card Y. Jauregui vs. Ketlen Souza Yasmin hoige versus Katlin sza uh I'm going with Yasmin but these odds suck and I think a lot of people are tempted by the Katlin sza Underdog side and let me tell you why because they're watching that fight with marmahon where Kellin sza look like a freaking Contender but remember something it's marmahon bro chill chill chill all of you chill I know a lot of you are thinking it kellyn sza has a power Muay Thai style which is relatively good she's got decent overhands and nice pressure and and you know we've seen Hadi dropped by Estella Nunes we saw her knocked out by Denise Gomes but I still rate her kickboxing to be fairly good she's relatively slick she's a good volume Striker she's light on her feet she's good from the outside she has nice straight punch flurry she moves pretty well her gas tank is there and I'd say she has a relatively High fight IQ now Kellin sza has some KO power sure it looks like it but it's not like she gotten a lot of Knockouts as of recent I mean a lot of decision wins and what are the odds harrii gets another flash knockout loss if you're talking a fight that goes three rounds I think it's hote out striking Katlin sza for a majority of it showing her speed Advantage being calculated picking her shots well and potentially even engaging in the clinch and Landing trips on H Katlin sza what's interesting I want to mention something Katlin sza go back and watch that Arian carnelossi fight I learned a little bit about it I said man she can break those body shots broke her down caral Losi who's you know an okay enough women's UFC fighter I don't know she's kind of mid calosi actually stopped her with a damn body kick so I think harrii work in the body here is actually going to be really important I think you're going to notice TS to the body by harrii I do think she's going to be chopping at the legs and I think you're going to see a lot of movement from her and I think Katlin Souza will be trying to chase and she's going to look for some big overhands but I do think Hari is going to be prepared for what s is going to throw at her I'm going to go with Yasmin haigi to get a w I'm saying she's getting a unanimous decision but the odds absolutely suck this fight is not a six to1 line this is [ __ ] this right here is extremely inflated Kellin sza at plus 550 is [ __ ] the odds should look similar to Joshua van and Edgar chyz that's a fair line minus 210 minus 200 for har that makes sense - 600 is straight delusion even opening at minus 350 I don't get that I think he should have opened that minus 180 even minus 150 to be honest like Kellin sza can crack Katlin sza is okay she is going to lose and I think the uh books are willing to pay out heavy for Katlin sza I don't know I think that Hari is more of like in a void position I might change my mind later in the week but right now I'm like avoid harrii don't sell any parlays with it don't risk it I do think she wins a decision though over Katlin sza I don't know what the propose for decision if I had it in front of me I'd just read it off over 2 and a half at minus 275 we're probably going over two and a half I think har he's got decent recovery I think Denise Gomes just absolutely hit her perfectly and put her out it's been a year since then she looked good against Sam Hughes out striking her in a fairly competitive Affair Katlin sza is not proven at all in the UFC so we'll find out a win over marmahon where she look good is what people are probably biting on they're like yeah I'm going for the dog because of that but bro does Yasmin haigi not look like the future champion at 115 against marmahon you get what I mean so relative concerns I'm going hary by decision I'll pick her to win odds are wide but she should still win the fight next fight on the card we have Manuel Torres versus ignasio bahom Manuel Torres vs. I. Bahamondes mandz woo this is a great fight I'm picking Manuel Torres to win over ignasio baj mandz yeah I like Manuel Torres in this fight let me tell you Manuel Torres is a fast starter and I think that he can make ignasio bah mandz uncomfortable and I do think that Torres is live to Showcase more than just striking I think this fight could hit the ground and I think Torres could shine there now Torres is a pretty dangerous Striker with legitimate knockout power he seems to like always find a way to land the kill shot he also does have dangerous grappling put that on display against Chris Duncan last time Made Easy work of him uh put pretty sick knockout against Nicholas moda in the fight before but he did get touched a little bit by Moda Torres has got a Mexican chin though so I'm not too worried about uh him getting dropped I think even if he gets hit clean by baj mandz I think he'll eat okay I'm going to say that Torres has a grappling edge here and I also think that he's a little more dangerous in the standup now I know bah mandz has a long striking style he's 5 Ines taller but he's only got a 2 and a half inch reach advantage and I don't know manell Torres looks taller than 510 I'm curious how they look going face to face with one another bah mandz has got dangerous kicks he's pretty good with his TS does have nice high kicks as well and he is pretty comfortable in both stances and I feel like he does a good job of holding his ground and not getting bullied by a lot of guys but the Way That loco Torres fights it's kind of going to turn chaotic and I do think he can catch baj mundez in uncomfortable position striking hitting him with wide shots or potentially even with like big elbows on the inside but also I am going to say that takedown threat from Manuel torres's live Torres has very slick submissions and I would even say potentially underrated submissions we saw agasio baham mandz in uncomfortable positions with Ludovic Klein last time and you look or I guess it wasn't last time it was two fights ago but still Ludovic Klein was Landing some key takedown and Ludovic Klein doesn't have the submission skills of Manuel Torres he's not as slick on the ground as Torres is I feel like Torres is a special talent he's also a special athlete too and uh I think he can find a way to submit ignasio baj mandz I'm going to go with manwel Torres to get it done inside of the distance I do think he's live for a submission win it's going to be a violent fight the way Torres fights kill or be killed I think him and BAH mandz are going to bang if I had to put money on it I think Torres has more punching power power and I think Torres is more of a submission threat and that for me is enough to pick him if bah mandz is to win he's going to have to be clean from the outside for a significant portion of this fight and he's going to have to hope that mwel Torres fatigues in round number two and round number three and potentially there he can start to do some damage but he's definitely going to need to survive a first round barrage and I'm not so sold on mountwell Torres is a one rounder bus type of guy sure he's got all these first round wins but that doesn't mean he can't go longer and I'm going to pick the Mexican Savage El loo Torres for a submission win over ignasio Bandz looking at the odds Manuel Torres the underdog plus 102 bahom mandz around minus 120us 115 I'm saying that this is a violent fight I think [ __ ] under one and a half is minus 115 I like under two and a half whatever that's listed at not available just yet but I would say under two and a half is better I'm picking Manuel Torres to get it done I think he find away and you better bet him soon if you want him as a damn Underdog cuz the line just flipped so it's going back and forth essentially a pickham fight I'm going for the close money Underdog at the time of this recording in mwel Torres I'm going to pick him by submission sure he could get the knockout but something about submission is calling my name Manuel Torres likes those rear naked chokes and uh I think you could put bahom mandz in some compromised positions so Manuel Torres for the sub next fight on the card this brings us to our featured prelim of the night Irene Aldana vs. Norma Dumont we got Irene aldana versus Norma Dumont this is a guaranteed Banger I mean I don't want to say guaranteed Banger because you know what if Dumont has her way with some of these lay and prey takeown positions like taked down and J just gets on top Parks the car then you know what a lot of you guys are going to be pissed off but that's not what I'm predicting I'm picking irini Alana okay I'm going with the Mexican spirit it's hard to fade a Mexican on this sphere card no UFC I think a lot of Mexicans are pulling through with massive W's now looking at the fight the reason I'm picking Alana is because she is the fighter who does more damage and she's not easy to bully on the ground now I know some of you say yo look how many times Amanda Nunes took her down think about what you're saying Amanda [ __ ] Nunes no [ __ ] okay Amanda Nunes the greatest female fighter of all time landed a good amount of takedowns on her and Alana still for the most part not in the fifth round was able to find her way back up to the feet oh but Macy chassan had a good second round against her okay Fair Point did shasan not have some success in grappling with Norma Dumont too though and then Alana went to war with caral HOSA in an absolute Banger back and forth fight and it's not like Dumont vers caral Rosa was a wrestle [ __ ] Dumont won it but it wasn't like she just bodied her the whole damn time dumont's got okay striking she's got solid on too she's got decent clinch pressure she's never amazing to watch she never makes you say wow I'm so happy to be seeing Norma Dumont Thrive she's like oh she gets a win all right competitive decision wins here's some control there's a couple punches by Dumont there's the decision aren alonna goes to war she's want to die in the [ __ ] cage she's a pressure-based striker with slick combinations consistent volume she's a Relentless Mexican boxing style holy [ __ ] how do you not love it I've been a fan of irini aldana for a long time and I fumbled the bag a long time ago picking her over Amanda Nunes so it shows I'm high on aldana all the way through and even at 36 I don't think it's over yet for her especially against Norman Dumont who I don't think does enough damage I think if we're talking damage done it's Alana doing the most if it's a win for Duman it's a wrestle [ __ ] it's lay and prey is not a damaging beating and I think Alana is going to give it hell man I think I'm telling you these Mexicans are going to have a little 10% nitrous boost on them for this damn card and I think Alana is going to thrive in front of the fans and I'm going iren aldana for the win by a decision and what turns into a bit of a war where Alana is able to sting Dumont up with some big shots hurt her a bit and caused some blood and uh I'm looking forward to a violent Affair I hope these ladies deliver because I think this could be an absolute banging fight alon's minus 130 is the favorite Dumont plus 110 is the Underdog like deont could park the car on top I'm not telling you it's impossible I just think more than likely she could land a takedown but alonna will scramble and dant won't do a lot with it and where no UFC I'm damn sure violence is going to be what the damn judges are looking for and I don't think uh dant with two minutes of control time opposite Alana dropping some heavy hands on her and some big low kicks is going to lose the fight because of it minus 450 for the over two and A2 ladies are probably going long I would predict this fight goes over two and a half that is my official take I'm going with irini Alana I sat on this one for a while and I'm glad that I did because I came to the conclusion that I'm going for the more violent fighter yes dant on a four-fight win streak but can I read off the names Germaine de Rand hadn't fought in a [ __ ] year not even a year was it three years I don't know I was going to say a decade but ended up saying a year hadn't fought for a while Chelsea Chandler certified mid carosa good carosa is good Danielle wolf one and0 is a pro so four straight wins but me win here me win here eh win here against Jermaine de Rand who hadn't been fighting and then you got the carosa win well [ __ ] carosa win for Alana too different fights Alana and HOSA was an all-time classic it was a back and forth War but uh I still take the positives away I'm going Al Donna for a w I think she finds a way to beat Norma Dumont I'm going with her aren aldana for the win violent fight that I absolutely can't wait for let's jump to R. Rodríguez vs. Ode Osbourne our main card opener if you guys haven't yet make sure you smash the likes and if you're new to the channel subscribe we got Ronaldo Rodriguez versus OD Osborne I don't know why this is on the main card I think there's a lot of other fights they could have put there but uh I am not the Matchmaker ah I'm going with Ronaldo Rodriguez and I say that with like a bit of tension in my voice I won't lie simply because he's unproven but I'm picking between unproven Ronaldo Rodriguez who's 16 and two as a pro seems to be surging on the rise up right now pretty good boxing punching combinations a little wide a little wild for sure but nice overhands closes distance pretty well he not super technical but can bang and has decent grappling got some submission wins comfortable stance switches can land some key takedowns I feel like he's got a good last tank too against OD Osborne who I just feel like is mid he's a coin flip fighter he gets a win over Charles Johnson I think Charles Johnson had the flu or something in that fight it was a bad performance for him loses to straight by sub Fight Before The Charles Johnson when he got absolutely [ __ ] starched by Tyson n ode Osborne is like a light switch hot cold hot I guess hot cold is a bad comp on off on off on off for some hot cold [ __ ] he's like a lukewarm fighter man he's got decent kicks from the outside I'd say he's relatively fast from range he's got good reach he's pretty long gas is out a little bit late sometimes fights well in a technical like you know Point sparring type of fight where he can pick his shots I don't necessarily think he thrives in a dog fight and that's where I think Ronaldo Rodriguez is going to thrive I think Ronaldo Rodriguez has that dog in him and when I'm looking for the pick between these two I had to look deep and I was like man if it comes down to last minute of the last round who's going to take it I think Ronaldo Rodriguez is going to have more to give I think Ronaldo Rodriguez has more heart I think Ronaldo Rodriguez has a better gas tank I think Ronaldo Rodriguez is a more violent fighter so I'm going with Ronaldo to get the win I think OD Osborne has a little bit suspect grappling but I can forgive this one teilo who's tremendous Jiu-Jitsu and then Alma bayv who's you know tremendous with wrestling control so both of the losses by sub for OD Osborne aren't horrible and then a Charles Johnson win is actually really good I just don't think OD is that great though I don't know I feel like Ronaldo Rodriguez can turn this into a dog fight and maybe mix in some key takedowns another thing too is OD Osborne remember that CJ varara fight like he looked okay early on but he was selling late CJ varara dominated the third round completely out wrestled him and I think Ronaldo Rodriguez has a wrestling option in this fight too and I just don't necessarily know where ode Osborne's head is at or if he's made improvements like too many question marks man I'm going to go with Ronaldo Rodriguez when in doubt go Mexican on this card now as far as the odds uh minus 130 for Ronaldo plus 110 for Osborne I mean personally not feeling the betting side right now at all I'm like nah [ __ ] that because I think neither guy necess necessarily deserves to have money riding on them OD Osborne's hot and cold Ronaldo Rodriguez is completely unproven I mean yeah you could get lucky and win I mean one of them is going to win the fight so somebody's going to bet one side and win somebody's going to bet the other side and lose but personally I don't know I just don't love the confidence nor the value over one and a half minus 170 I mean I guess I think a submission is live for Rodriguez in the later stages or I think that uh Rodriguez might be getting his hand raised by a decision I do think his pressure is going to give ode Osborne difficulty and I think he will slowly but surely break down Osborne and I do think he's live for a later sub if not a sub though I do think he can take home a decision he is going to have to get through the 8 inch reach Advantage but Osborne's not a great boxer so I'm not too worried about the reach Edge uh with Ronaldo Rodriguez being a very pressure-based fighter I think he'll be able to find a way on the inside of OD Osborne's reach and he's only given up an inch in height so yes big reach Edge for Osborne but Ronaldo Rodriguez only an inch shorter I'm not overly concerned about a size difference in this fight so I'm going Ronaldo Rodriguez to find a way let's keep running next fight is our second fight on the main card we have Daniel zel Huber versus estabon D. Zellhuber vs. E. Ribovics reix I'm picking eston reix I know you guys are surprised I can see the reactions already I see your face right now I did not come here today expecting to pick estabon rovix over Daniel zel Huber prior to watching any film I said yeah probably going Z Huber I mean yeah he's got a big reach Edge right eston's man but then I go and I watch eston tape and I'm like damn the only reason he lost his debut is because of L rajabov grappling through the only reason kamuela Kirk looked okay against him is because a dominant first round in grappling and then he made Terrence mckin his [ __ ] estabon rovix has really solid hands and I feel like Daniel zel Huber he's got okay striking I mean okay is a [ __ ] understatement I'm being a dick he's got okay boxing he's got good kickboxing and he's got a decent jab that he works but I just feel like he doesn't have great speed he doesn't have great explosiveness and I don't think he really has crazy power now he has a dangerous kicking skill set and he is relatively decent with his submission threat too I just have question marks around zel Huber's game man I don't know why I just the way he throws it's like there's something there where I'm like damn estan rovix can crack that chin Lando Vada caught Daniel Z hubber in the second round with a lot of punches he was closing the gap on him and ripping them with hard Hooks and eston vix is a pressure based heavy hooker type fighter he's a heavy hooker man he's he's sleeping with everybody I think that estaban rovix has pretty quick hands he does have legit knockout power his knockout of Terrence mcken was a once in a-lifetime type of win that fight is not what sold me on him I'm thinking that rovix has that dog in him and he's going to come in with a lot of pressure and he's going to land some big shots on Daniel zel Huber and I think this is going to turn into a bit of a scrap now I know a lot of people are high on Daniel Z Huber but when you dig into the resume sit with me for a second Francisco pra decision Francisco pra is a worst version of estabon rovix yes or no yes okay kristos yagos Christos yagos at this point is a hot and cold journey man and he's mostly cold okay Lando Vata decent journeyman okay fighter kind of never lived up to the potential that seemed to be there after a debut against Tony Ferguson so there's three losses there Trey Ogden loss or three wins there rather a Trey Ogden loss which I mean it wouldn't be a big deal if he got wrestle [ __ ] but it was a lot of striking a win over Lucas Almeida who's a featherweight now you get what I'm saying like the hype on Daniel zel Huer it's kind of unjustified what has he done that is so amazing to make him a minus 230 favorite besides having the nickname The Golden Boy he's got long arms he's got a good jab on the outside for the most part but he doesn't have a stinging jab he busted up Francisco pra but pra is not as quick nor as explosive as estan rovix reck's got that dog in him the dude does not break he consistently comes forward he's a pressure based fighter he's got a ton of heart and he's got some heavy hands I think that estabon rovix might knock Daniel zel Huer out I don't know how good Daniel zel Huber's chin is because he's never been hit with that Death Punch you get what I mean he's been touched a little bit and he's eaten shots but he's never been hit with some massive hooks forced backwards and consistently ripped with big shots there hasn't been a moment where he's significantly hurt and we've had to see him fight through it and survive I don't know how it's going to look I think reix is live for a KO or a decision I'm going with the underdog but I'm not picking estan rovix because I'm dog chasing don't think that I don't do that [ __ ] if I got to pick all favorites I will I don't care the reason I'm picking him is because his boxing is better his hooks are power powerful his pressure is Relentless and he's quick and athletic I think he's quicker and I think he's more athletic than Daniel zel Huer and I think with consistent pressure he can make Daniel zel Huber very uncomfortable and I think estan rivix is on his way to getting striking he wants to fight on the ground though he's better with his Jiu-Jitsu he wants to be on top or even wants to be on the bottom throwing up submission attempts Brian Ortega I don't think he wants to engage in a boxing match with Diego Lopez Diego Lopez is a [ __ ] sensation right now he's heavy-handed you got a sick knockout of sadik yusf he's really slick on the ground he's very violence first he loves a finish and he's Relentless the dude just doesn't stop he's got very good grappling dude he runs the [ __ ] lobbo jym Jiu-Jitsu program he's the grappling coach so the ground skills that he has are incredibly high level and in this fight here I think he would have an advantage in grappling from the top position if they scramble who ends up on top I think it's Diego Lopez I don't think Brian Ortega is submitting to Diego Lopez not so sure Diego Lopez submits a Brian Ortega either I'm not [ __ ] on Ortega I'm talking [ __ ] a little bit about the Striking if he's trying to box with Diego Diego will land some big shots on him Diego will out strike him and then if they go to the ground I think Brian Ortega will throw up a lot of submission attempts but I do think Diego Lopez will stifle those attacks it really depends on how this fight ends up unfolding certain positions you know uh how does it look is it Ortega looking to engage grappling or is it an Ortega with uh very much willingness to strike and then how does the standup go I think Diego Lopez is going to win it's just how does he get it done I think knockout or decision is life if he submits Brian Ortega it's insane submitting Brian Ortega is next level but I do think as good as Ortega's chin is if there's anybody that could lay him out it's a guy on fire like Diego Lopez right now but that's not going to be my pick my official prediction official official I'm going to call Diego Lopez by decision I think he lands some big punches on Orga I think he makes Ortega uncomfortable I think Diego Lopez finds himself in the top position I think Ortega looks to Grapple with Lopez but is met with some insane resistance and I'm telling you this please do not judge Diego Lopez purely based on the damn Dan eay fight if you're going back and you're like yo I watched film I just watched his fight with Dan eay look kind of like [ __ ] check yourself because you got to remember something he cut to 145 for that fight and then they made it 155 and then next Yoto TGA pulls out and Dan eay comes in on a [ __ ] day notice and it's at 170 so not really a fair scenario for Diego Lopez in my opinion to judge him so harshly on that fight he still beat Dan eay who's an absolute gamer but he had a serious weight cut so I think that Diego Lopez over Brian Ortega is what's gonna happen I'm picking him he's bigger he's more powerful and he damn sure might be better at u- Jitsu too I definitely think he's going to be better from top position and he's going to end up on top of Brian Ortega so I'm going with Diego Lopez to get the win Lopez is minus 175 as the favorite Brian Ortega's plus 150 as the underdog I'm going with Lopez over 2 and a half minus 125 I'm going to predict it does go over in a violent fight in a good back and forth I think Orga survives a Lopez swarm But ultimately loses a decision and Diego Lopez is is that Prospect to watch and uh the super stardom is reached as he gets a w at the dam Sphere for this noce UFC card Diego Lopez to beat an OG and definitely an oldtime fan favorite in Brian Ortega but it's Lopez's time now let's keep running next fight on the card our co-main event of the evening we Alexa Grasso vs. V. Shevchenko have Alexa grao versus Valentina chevchenko 3 the trilogy it's happening third time a charm hopefully we don't have another damn draw this division women's 125 has been held up man because for a year and a half they just been fighting one another and now we're GNA find out who takes it home I'm going with Alexa Gro I'm picking her again I have to I have to I have to go with Gro their last fight it was somewhat controversial it depends on you know how you're scoring of some of the rounds I'm not here to talk about the scoring of the last fight though I'm here to predict this fight but I am going to say there was not a 108 round number five but it doesn't mean you couldn't have scored the fight for Gro because she definitely win the fifth round if you had it 22 going into the fifth which most people did a majority of people did then grao gets it 4847 but one of the judges this was the judge that you know caused the draw scored at a 108 round for Grasso which it wasn't a 108 round the reason that grao ended up on Chef chano's back in that damn fifth round is because chef chano looked for the [ __ ] throw ends up slipping through falling over and Grasso jumps the back so fumble by chevchenko is ultimately why she drawed last time out against Alexa Grasso because you know the judges had it going that way but like if you're scoring it yourself it could easily be Gro three rounds to two now looking at the fight Gro has a pretty good boxing skill skill set she's quick she closes the Gap really well she closed the Gap so fast she's making me [ __ ] stumble on my words holy [ __ ] Gro does have a little bit spotty takedown defense at least in the last fight shevchenko had some success getting her to the ground but I do think Alexa graso is difficult to deal with overall even from the bottom she'll throw some nasty elbows she's got pretty good jiujitsu pretty good getups pretty good reversals I do think she's got the quicker hands at this point Chef chenko is a precise kickboxer and in her prime I do think she would handle an Alexa Gro but this is no longer the prime Valentina chevchenko I think slowed down a bit even the way her jab comes out it doesn't have the same snap the way her body kicks kick the body kicks hit it doesn't have the same sting it doesn't have the same mph like it doesn't look the same I don't know I feel like valentina's past the prime I felt that against Talia Santos I even thought that against Jennifer Maya after she was controlled a bit on the ground there and now she's fighting grao for a third time in 2024 I think Alexa Gro finds a way to outd doog Val Ina chevchenko and in a back and forth fight Alexa Gro wins it's noce UFC it's got to be a Mexican champion and still because if Valentina takes it home bro the Mexican crowd's walking out they don't even want to see om Ali om Ali's only Mexican by marriage for [ __ ] sake I'm going with Alexa grao to beat Valentina shevchenko I think she will defend takedowns better this time I think she'll get up faster this time I think her boxing will be on point I do think there'll be moments where she gets on top of Valentina chevchenko too and I have to also put the question out there it's been a year since their last fight and Valentina chevchenko is now 36 years old past 35 at these lower weight classes whether women's MMA men's doesn't matter slows down a tad now it's 36 it's 36 and a half too whereas I got Grasso at 31 in her prime of primes most likely we're going to witness the best version of Alexa ever versus possibly the worst version of Valentina chevchenko ever so I'm going with Gro to win the trilogy I think she gets the W she's taking it home this time and uh she finished strong last fight so she's got momentum heading into this one and she'll find the away I'm going Gro by decision minus 125 for Alexa grao Valentina at plus 105 Gro is taking it home over 2 and a half- 460 most likely over 3 and a half- 275 most likely over four and a half is ballsy minus 170 but I'm going to predict that it happens but remember Alexa Gro took the belt from Valentina Chev chenko with the rear naked choke and I'm talking a lot of [ __ ] about how Alexa Gro is going to probably be the best version of herself ever in this fight so she might be live to get another finish of Valentina if she takes her back it could end I'm going with Grasso and still Champion wins the trilogy and I do think this is going to be uh kind of like a career growing performance at the sphere it just seems like the stars are aligning Alexa Grasso and still champ let's jump to our main event of the evening if you guys haven't yet make Sean O'Malley vs. M. to get a hold of him now if morab does get a hold of him and does smother him up Against the Cage omali being tall has the leverage advantage and also he has relatively good takedown SLG grappling defense I think shano Mali sometimes especially by people that are maybe more casual fans of the sport is looked at as oh he just strikes but if you get him on his back he's [ __ ] this dude submitted takori and Jiu-Jitsu he trains a ton of grappling Tim Welch is a Jiu-Jitsu coach and a jiujitsu competitor that's the coach of sha Ali so it's not like he doesn't work his ground game Shao Ali is also relatively decent on the grappling side of things specifically in the defensive aspect of the game but yes he's going to thrive in the Striking so morab is going to need to put crazy pressure on him close that distance but he's going to be getting stung up by big shots and we have seen morab CAU rocked in the past Mor Rob's been rocked in numerous fights before and the one that really comes to mind is remember when Marlin Marise nearly knocked him out morav got hurt bad in that fight shano mali's footwork is completely off the chain marab is going to be looking to close the gap but he's going to be getting stung up by shots from range om Ali's the taller guy by five in he's got a 4 in reach advantage to go alongside of that height Edge analii being kind of like a narrow guy I feel like he can kind of squirm his way out of the clinch positions Against the Cage better than somebody that has a bit thicker of a frame like a p Yan who morab Gabe of you know a bit of a beating to he gave he gave petan hell but this isn't petan this is sha Ali and I think sha Ali is going to find a lot of success in the Striking I think his footwork is going to be too much for morab to deal with I think his hand speed is going to be a lot for morab to deal with I think he's going to be stinging morab and I do think morab gets caught striking with Ali and gets flattened I'm going sha Ali to find The Knockout if I had to Mystic Mack around I'll say second could happen later Could Happen earlier but I think om Ali's gonna find the kill I don't think Mar Rob is GNA wrestle [ __ ] him he's not going to just be taking him down all night and bullying him when they do tie up and if rather if they do but if they do tie up let's say it happens don't be surprised when sha Ali stops that takedown defends the position and is back to doing his thing in the Striking and morab if he is controlling in the clinch he's going to realize how difficult it is to get a hold of Ali and really do any significant amount of damage from those spots and I think Ali is going to frustrate him even more and then it makes it even more likely that morab overextends himself and gets caught by a stinging shot sha Ali striking is too clean his footwork is two on point his Precision is about as precise as it gets and I think sha Ali is special sha Ali by knockout he's putting morab devish V to sleep the pressure wrestling of morab yes he has a great gas tank yes he's great at take down he's never fought somebody like sha Ali when he faces off with sha Ali he's going to say oh [ __ ] this guy's a
