[Music] [Music] good evening I'm Douglas arto and this is Flashback media tonight we turn our attention to a high-profile case in Liverpool convicted gangster Curtis Warren has managed to avoid jail time despite ad committing to multiple breaches of a serious crime prevention order appearing before Liverpool Crown court on Tuesday Warren pleaded guilty to six judges of failing to comply with the order designed to prevent him from committing serious crimes these breaches include failing to inform authorities of changes to his communication devices undisclosed use of credit cards setting up a business without proper notification and possessing more than £1,000 without declar ing his income Warren originally from Liverpool was arrested by the National Crime agency in South tinside last July and charged in November initially he was set to stand trial for 18 breaches of the order but he altered his plea admitting to six of the counts Curtis Warren known for his previous convictions for drug offenses in the Netherlands and Jersey has now been handed a 14-month jail sentence how however this sentence has been suspended for 18 months meaning Warren will avoid prison unless he real offends during that period Paul Mitchell Prosecuting requested that the remaining charges against Warren be left on file Anthony barlau Warren's defense attorney told the court that his client desires to step out of the public eye and live a peaceful life as this chapter closes for Curtis Warren questions remain about the effectiveness of crime prevention orders and their enforcement we'll continue to monitor this and other related stories for flashback media I'm Douglas arto thank you for joining us and good night [Music] [Music] [Music] good evening and welcome to flashback media I'm Douglas arto our top story tonight is a tragic development in West Georgia where to men have been charged in connection with the deaths of a young mother and her three children in a horrific house f 44-year-old Muhammad shabir and 25-year-old Callum Sunderland both from cley West yorshire have been charged with four counts of murder and one count of attempted murder these charges relate to a fire that police believe was deliberately set at a home at Westbury Road in Bradford claiming the lives of 29-year-old briany grith affectionate the known as be and her three young children 99-year-old dentisty burtle 5-year-old old ascar Berle and 22-month-old Au burtle shabir and Sunderland have been remanded in custody and are scheduled to appear in Bradford magistrates court tomorrow in addition West Yorkshire police have stated that four other individuals remain under investigation this includes a 39-year-old man who was arrested at the scene on suspicion of murder and is currently in critical condition in hospital in the aftermath of this devastating event the family has released a statement through the police expressing their unimaginable sadness and grief briany or B was remembered as the life and soul of the party who was deeply devoted to her children lovingly referred to his church Augie and strawberry Jonathan the children's father and Brian's fiance also shared an emotional tribute stating I am absolutely distraught at the sudden loss of my fiance and now three beautiful children I love them with all my heart and if I had the chance I would take their place in a heartbeat they will never be forgotten and will always be in my heart Amanda McKinnis from the crown prosecution service for Yorkshire and humberside expressed the agency's condolences to the family and reminded the public that criminal proceedings against the defendants are now active she emphasized that it is crucial to ensure a fair trial for those involved as the investigation continues this community is left to grieve a profound loss we'll keep you updated on any further developments in this tragic case for flashback media I'm Douglas arto thank you for joining us tonight [Music] [Music]
