you can pet it in one second so this is a Bo constrictor and you asked why we're here we are down here for this at the Tomato Fest and we do educational Outreach with our animals so we allow kids like you guys to meet the animals meet them up close and personal and understand there's no reason you need to be afraid snakes and to also understand that maybe not every snake is a good beginner pack so we have our corn snakes over at the booth they are a better beginner pet than let's say a Bo constrictor that's going to get 8 9 ft long so you are welcome to pet this snake if you'd like I just ask that you not touch her head she's not going to bite you what's your name Aiden Aiden hi Aiden it's nice to meet you now that I shook your hand Ken now don't let go in my hand now that I shook your hand are you going to bite me no okay so you can pet my snake it's the same thing she has no reason to bite you and no reason to hurt you you can pet any part but her head and the reason I don't let people pet her head is because that's just general respect you wouldn't want someone you don't know to come up and grab you by the nose so you don't do that to the animals the other thing I ask is that you go back inside afterwards over to the reptile booth and get hand cleaner because I always ask people to wash their hands and I left my hand cleaner at the booth but I always ask people to wash their hands after petting it because they're completely waterproof and it's like petting a dirty door knob so you should always wash your hands after you pet animals
