Michael Pratt discusses 'healthy competition' for the Packers No. 2 quarterback job

I think just right off the bat we came out you know with a lot better intensity and uh you know I think everybody was just kind of fired up to play today and uh you know like I said offensive line just did a fabulous job setting us up in the Run game and pass game you know big big credit to them did uh th have anything to do with that will you guys practice against them on Thursday yeah I think so for sure um you know you see the looks you know the personnel and you know it's a opportunity to take advantage of and I think the guys really did that on Thursday and you know that kind of just translated into today what we had how much is just the competition even with you and Sean just battling how much has it made you better just throughout this preseason of training camp uh I think it's been a really really healthy um competition you know Sean and I were were really close and you know I think just the dynamic in the quarterback room is the main emphasis for us is to help the team um and I think just all of us kind of being on that mindset um you know like I said the healthy competition I think you know Sean makes a play it's like all I got to go make a play and vice versa so you know it's just pushed us to spend even more time you know studying and going over and doing the little things right so I I just you know want to give them a lot of credit sha and Jordan for you know all that they've done helping me out throughout this process since rookie mini camp since I've been here um and I think we've gotten better every single day so last half full last half empty what's what's your view of you walk out of here today uh You For Me overall performance like from today and Theon train yeah I I think I had a pretty good camp um you know I think the most important thing and the thing that I liked was I think that I continuously got a little bit better every day um and you know early mistakes in Camp I I think I tended to not make the same mistakes twice so I think learning from mistakes and learning from Jordan's mistakes learning from Sea's mistakes I think there's always an opportunity to grow and um I think the coaching staff has done an awesome job of emphasizing that and helping us out so huge credit to them as well but um you know I'm pretty pretty happy with my performance obviously you know always you know want to strive to to be the best that I can um but I think that was the most important thing I think I got a little bit better every single day
