Michigan vs. Ohio State Full Game Sim | EA Sports College Football 25

[Applause] few places are richer in Tradition more steep in Nostalgia than this old horseshoe on the banks of the old Tangi the home of the Ohio State Buckeyes and the scarlet and gray have this place rocking already this match up today part of the lifeblood of the sport a rivalry game where the results will be remembered for a lifetime as we'll see the number nine team in the country the Michigan Wolverines taking on the second ranked team in the land the Ohio State Buckey for EA Sports college football I'm Rees Davis David poock and Jesse Palmer with me guys it's time to get it [Applause] [Music] going the Wolverines will put total weather to crank us up he'll bring it back from inside his SP lowers that shoulder delivers the blow and he'll be brought down after a solid effort on that return the Buckey offense will have the first possession of the game Stakes are always high in the game careers are made and lost because of it and they'll have to manage their emotions guys some games in college football just mean more when you think about Ohio State and Michigan you think about not just big 10 implications National Title implications Heisman Trophy implications lateen in the year David this is just mustat TV must watch TV two of the winningest programs in college football history this game I tell you what recent years has really brought back the tradition and been so much more competitive now that Michigan's also getting some wins the playaction fake fires to the wide out complete in the middle and there was lots of space as he gets it to the 39 yd line and you know the line they kick around down at Ohio State Woody hay forward pass two of the three things that can happen are bad woody had dudes like this he'd be spinning that magic being all over this place you ain't lying my how times have changed now it is pass pass pass find explosive Playmakers like this on the outside get him the football the give to the back and he'll pick up one it brings up second and nine there are so many great rivalries in college football guys but I think this one because of the disdain and the Excellence sort of Rises to the top yeah I mean listen there are great rivalries scattered all around this country instate rivalries intercon rivalries a great history great pageantry but I think what makes Ohio State versus Michigan unique is the fact that more often than not these are two teams competing for national championships at the end of the year and this game really does determine the national landscape and 19 national championships between the two teams team late in the year it always matters you go back to 2006 number one versus number two so always disdain always hate don't even call each other by their names like this rivalry means so much to college football dropping back it's Howard they're trying to get to him dances away from the heat the quarterback bought as much time as he could but the defense got to him and sacked him what a great play this guy is a for on this D line you think about Michigan football defensively they've got dudes up front Aiden Hutchinson Brandon Graham Mazy Smith ran Gary guys that can win one-on-one and guys that change and force your game plan to have to adapt for them you need to double team these guys if you want to have any chance this is that type of player he's got so much ability they'll try to keep that sack from Wrecking this drive here on second and 15 he made the stop as he gets it inside the 30 to the 28 a gain of [Applause] [Music] [Applause] four defense getting stingier in their own end of the field it's third and long from the 28 from the gun wants to pass catch in the middle it's Tate and he was just a couple of steps away from Tak that one even further after the catch and the defense has to be kicking themselves for allowing a first down there you're just maybe going to give them a few yards and let them set up for a field goal instead you let them move the chains and now they're knocking on your door first and goal caught behind the line it's Smith touchdown Ohio State reeled it in and just made the house call they can use this first score to sort of set the tone guys in this rivalry matchup man doesn't this feel good to come out score early get the crowd involved get the nerves out of the way Paul Mur when you're playing in a big rivalry game yeah and I feel like momentum is always a big thing in any game but in rivalry games it's that much more important because everybody is going to feed off that first score now line up to attack one more onto that lead exra point and he's got the extra point and it's 7 nothing to start this one 76 yds on the drive for the touchdown number 3 set he'll start the return inside his SP didn't find any creias in that kickoff coverage and he'll be stopped at the 17 so the Michigan Wolverines offense will have its first possession of the game and what a great matchup we have of two highly productive Runners David and I like the competition aspect of this R like I'm watching what you're doing on the other side and I'm going to prove I'm a better running back than you both these guys are looking to be the man today and both guys Can Go the Distance right these two running backs seem to get better as the game goes on so which defense can be more physical step up and at least slow the other guy down this crowd trying to make life miserable for this offense to the ground with the back he's knocked down in the back field he'll lose a couple you know the runner just has to have a little bit more patience and bounce that thing outside a little too early and as a result lost yards debbs Rising as the crowd Gets behind this defense on third down back to throw it's orgy and with the completion out to the sideline they'll pick up a [Applause] [Applause] toule and the Wolverines will try to p P them back with the punt signals for the fair Catch and hauls it in just shy of the 30 the Buckeyes roll that offense back out there man what a drive last time for the touchdown that passing attack was Lethal David yeah and you know you hear all these stupid commentators like me and Jesse talking about create balance you run and pass no when you throw that good spin the ball away so the defense has to find a way to affect the quarterback on this drive because last drive he had way too much time to thr perfect play call for that big game to open the drive now here they come on First and 10 toss sweep to the left at the 45 on his way he showed it all there a little elusiveness a little power and he's got the first down well you see a great individual effort there that time and you can see the skills this guy has and he just reminds me sometimes of the great Ohio State backs we've seen in the past right you think of Archie Griffin and his two Heisman Trophies Ezekiel Elliott JK Dobbins this guy right here with his skill set he's got the chance to be the next great Buckeye back and I think everybody wants to run the option nowadays but the problem is can everybody read it you got to be able to stick the ball in the belly the running back and you have to be able to understand or I'm pitching it to him whatever the read is you can tell he was a little bit confused a little bit slow and that's why the defense won this round lost one on that last one it's second and 11 wide receiver shows motion back to throw it's Howard they're working that left side defense was right there but they couldn't stop him from making the catch and he's got it to the 30 the time honored phrase for a quarterback is fielded General this dude in this environment he he's like a stadium Commander he's like a an elevated rank above Field General he's like an orchestrator he knows how to how to set him off and and bring it up and bring the excitement with the big play he'll take a shot he makes a catch in the end zone touchdown Buckey man really nice job attacking the middle of the field you see those safeties man I want to split them he's puts it right down the middle throws that post right on the numbers catches the ball in the end zone touchdown ready to try the point after on for the extra point and the extra point pushes the lead to 14 a very efficient five Place scoring drive and they finish it up with the final 30 yds coming courtesy of that touchdown pass the kickoff team out there and ready to go and he takes this from inside the five just never had a chance to shake loose and he'll be brought down at the 24 Michigan ready to get that offense rolling again to say this has been a slow start is a bit of an understatement and they really need to get it going here Jesse that's right the opponent they're firing an all cylinders right out of the game offensively for this unit they've been slow and struggling they need an explosive play to wake themselves up yeah and it's just the first quarter so it's not the end of the world you've seen slow starts but you got to continue to pick and pick and pick until you find that play or or that scheme that you can use against this defense not much of a gain there on the ground and that will do it for the first quarter well guys Ohio state has the lead here they came out and jumped on them early in the first let's take a break and look at the first quarter stats just about ready to get things started here in the second we'll see if they continue to flex that muscle looking for a man it's orgy got out of trouble and throws it's complete to the left they're ripping off chunks of yardage they get it to the 33 how nice is it as a quarterback when you don't have to throw post routes to get great stats no I can just throw it quickly to one of the fastest players in the entire nation and let him burn this defense the Wolverines will snap it on First and 10 looking for space it's Edwards knocked down at the 29 after a pick up of four the colors of the day were Maze and blue when Michigan won a close one last last year it was Ohio state leading the stadium feeling blue after that to the way the Michigan enforced their will late in that game they were the most physical team when they needed to be and David they're going to have to do that again to pull out this Delby yeah and it doesn't matter if you're the coach at Ohio State and you won every game on your schedule but you lose to Michigan it's an unsuccessful year so he's heard about it all off season and these players have to and they'll be ready for some Revenge Ball's at the 25 they're in field goal range but they' love to convert this third and short to the ground to try to pick up the first and the Wolverines are stopped but not before getting it past the sticks and I just love when guys know exactly where the sticks are you could tell ran with purpose finished through the sticks and got just enough for the first down and a nice job up front too right good communication everybody knew where they had to go hat on a hat work the double teams and get some push they'll leave it with him he's knocked down in the back field he'll lose a couple well they're trying to get that run play going to the outside but it's the defensive end who does a great job winning his one-on-one and forcing a negative play after that last loss it's second and 12 give to the back defense there to stop him at the 20 let's give him three yards on that carry all right well the offense here they're trying to get this run game established they obviously don't break off a long run there but they're just trying to find their footing at this point third down in this crowd is tearing the lid off this place they try to pop a run on the draw and they'll finally get him down after a terrific pickup great job by the quarterback the running back in the offensive line really selling pass that's step one if you're going to run an effective draw it's got to look like pass and then boom you sneak it right to the running back gets a big game and gets a first down after another clutch third down conversion it's first and goal he'll try to get it in with the run and he's loose and he'll take it to the house touchdown Wolverines number S A methodical Drive Soul crushing Spirit breaking and it ends in a touchdown and listen I know everybody wants the big plays the big long touchdowns and all that stuff but putting a drive together like that is very difficult to do time and time again and it's demoralizing for the defense great drive by the offense [Applause] lining up for the Pat and after the extra point they've cut the lead in half down 14-7 so it's a 77 yd touchdown drive and he got into the house from the six to finish [Music] it about to kick it away after scoring the touchdown Ki here he comes from inside his own five and the returner runs out of real estate as he goes down here comes the Ohio State offense onto the field now they need to put something together to answer that last score there's a lot of pressure too on this offense to have to execute at a high level they've got to score points David but they can't go too fast cuz their defense right now is tired and I think that's the difficulty being a play caller like I have to balance all of those things my defense is a little bit tired I can't put on the field but I got to be aggressive because this is a back and forth type game so a lot to process and think about not what they had in mind to start this drive here comes second and 13 he's dropped behind the line of scrimmage that'll be a loss of three well they were trying to set up the option but the quarterback had no chance did you see the defensive tackle penetrate what a great first step he shot right through the offensive line and got the tfl and the running game has collapsed so far on this drive and now it's thir third down to the air it's Howard the sweet feet keeping the Play Alive short gain on the play before he slides and that's why it's important offensively they're going to have to do a better job running the ball and getting positive yards early in the drive you can't be in third and long living in those situations against this defense cuz they like to play dime personnel and with those faster guys they're going to Blitz and they're going to match speed with speed it's a nice way to combat the mobile ability this quarterback has Now setting up fourth down and good work by the coverage team to knock down the Return Man and here comes the Michigan offense back on the field and David Hal they would love to stick it in the end zone one more time after that last drive and once you get the defense on their heels and you back them off a little bit you get in a little bit of Rhythm it's really hard to stop Jesse and they're going to try to do it again right here and if you're this play caller you're loving what's happening right now because CU everything you dialed up on that last Drive ended up working out you're just looking at your play sheet everything you're picking is working let's see if they can pull it off again here they'll keep it on the ground tackle is made after the first down those who stay will be Champions so that both shim Beckler and those who keep it on the ground churn out first downs yeah it's it's because it's a way of life right it's that physicality it's going to be hard in practice all week when you're at Michigan it's going to be grind it's to be physical that's who they are they won't compromise and if you get to stick around here recently a lot of success too grabbed in the middle it's Morris and oh he was Off to the Races after the catch and they finally drag him down they pick up the first down on the drag route good job by the receiver knowing it was man coverage if he's looking he's booking he gave his quarterback the eyes right away that says hey I'm not stopping put it out in front of me I'm getting this first down the Wolverines have it with a first and 10 looking to move it through the air caught over the middle it's Morgan they make the stop right there good pickup it's still short of the first down it's a nice job running the end route there by the receiver and the best thing he did after he made his break he didn't Trail and fade away he actually attacked the football that's a good lesson for young receivers out there watching and the Wolverines have pushed it inside the 20 to throw it's orgy using the quick game and they'll bring him down but not before he picks up the first down always nice to have that security blanket of the tight end and it's nice to have a tight end that can line up in different areas of the field too it's not always going to be in a three-point stance he can sometimes be in the back field you could Flex him out into the slot they might even try to put this guy out at wide receiver in the split end position and see what he can do there cuz this guy is a weapon and not much doing there as that defense runs him out of bounds the old saying is you'll never go grope taking a profit no matter how small just keep building up the bank account yep and when the defense wants to drop back and not give up those big plays a lot of times they're going to force you to be patient and when you show him you can do that it'll pay dividends in the long run Zing complete to the right they've got it down to the three yd line really well done on that throwing and catch there's a timeout called as this offense tries to find a way to draw a little closer really need to pick up this conversion and avoid having to settle for the field goal they'll try to run for it and the defense is swarming to keep him from getting to the first down defense going to use a timeout can't afford to have any confusion on the call here they'll have to settle for a field goal attempt a really short kick but you've got to have that angry just right the field goal is no good after that Miss still a seven-point game guys and that's just the Chip Shot that's just a field goal they got to make in [Music] this Buckeyes roll that offense back out there they've got time they've got the lead and David is sort of like a doctor first Do no harm Do no harm but also momentum is hard to create and sometimes hard to stop you have it so Jesse don't do anything stupid to create some momentum for the other side I think a lot of this comes down to your quarterback and whether or not he's making good decisions in this game if yes be aggressive if not let's just take the lead into halftime and get ready for the second half got it in the Middle with Scott brought down at the 45 after a 15 yd pick up this offense is clicking and clearly everything is working the offensive coordinator calling good plays the quarterback and his unit is executing this defense right now they have no answers the offense burns his third and final timeout of the half now a first down from the 45 yd line he's going to pass good job to toss that ball out of bounds and avoid the loss bring up second [Applause] down the incomplete pass leaves him with second down on the move it's Howard pocket starts to collapse that pass is incomplete and they might be for it wasn't not Cree for a fumble it'll be third down yeah this offense might want to think about moving the launch point for this QB because if you take hits like that from the pocket it's really tough to complete passes just a few seconds remaining here as they try to put something up before half time on Third and long he has to throw for it pressure coming and they couldn't hold off the heat and he goes down with the sack we've got a timeout in the waning seconds of the have maybe a chance to get off a couple more plays and the Buckeyes send out the punt unit this will be the second time they've had to kick it away trying to play a little field position with that high high punt no return coming he'll call for the fair catch just enough time for one final play in this half comes out throwing on first [Applause] down makes the grab it's lovelin and he'll make his way out of B B after the solid pickup we played two quarters here time to go to Kevin Connors in our halftime update fellas whether it's in the shoe or the big house when you have these two programs with all that's at stake today you know emotions run high in a game known simply as the game and it's been said football is a game of inches and guess what based on the comparison between third down conversion rate today and the average yard per play how can you argue that I mean the low-lying fruit is to look at some of the explosive plays we've seen and panic but really this game is going to come down to which team is more efficient when they have the ball and how they play when it matters most with that let's throw it back to the guys to see how the fight between Michigan and Ohio State plays out on the move from inside is five really disciplined job by the cover unit to get down there and make the stop at the 19 guys Here Come Those Maze and blue winged helmets on offense they'll open the second half on the ground he stopped just a chain link or two away from the first down and sets them up beautifully here and and that would be the definition of first down success putting yourself in a good position it's second and inches I can do whatever I want next I can take a shot down the field I can run the football and get a new set of downs like nice nice first down execution they'll give it to the back brought down to the ground but he has enough for the first down you got to have short area quickness that running back there doing what it takes to make sure he got that first down with the first down they'll put it in play from the 33 they'll try the Run good pick up on the ground and they'll Mark him down at the 39 and after a successful run like that on first down if you're the offensive coordinator here maybe you're thinking about being aggressive and potentially taking a shot because even if it's incomplete now on second you only have a short amount of yards to go here on third halfway there on first down it's second and five looking downfield it's orgy working that left side now good pick up there as he gets the first down and they'll Mark him at the 48 well that's a really nice job surveying the field and delivering an accurate throw you know when I think back to Michigan quarterbacks I think of guys like Elvis gerau or Tom Brady Jim Harbaugh Brian greasy guys that could hurt you throwing the ball from the pocket surveying the field reading defenses and making quick decisions this guy has the ability to do all of those things he got a bunch and look close to getting a lot more but he's got the first down well you wonder if one of the adjustments they made at halftime trailing in this game was to try and get the ground game established David they're off to a good start here dang right stay patient you don't have to worry about it you don't have to press just try to get scoring Drives together don't abandon the ring to the air on first down catch in the middle it's Lovin and good coverage by the defense just a short gain a nice job by the defense there tackling the catch smothering the tight end they know this offense is going to try to find him in the passing game in a lot of different situations that time perfect coverage and nice job bringing the big guy down not easy to [Applause] do using his legs it's Edwards productive four yd gain there on the ground as he gets it down to the 31 I think he run that play so you stay out of third and long third and long is not where an offense ever wants to drive third and medium hey I'm good with that so you run that play to make sure you're set up for a good third down better find the ear pluged here comes the noise backing this defense on third down they'll try to pick up the first through the air had it right in his hands in the middle of the field and it trickled to the ground it'll be fourth down one third and short and field goal range they dial up the pass play quarterback was trying to get through his progressions there was just simply nobody open couldn't make accurate enough throw ball Falls incomplete Now setting up a big decision here on fourth down and for the second time tonight they'll Trot out the field goal kicker knocked it right through showing that big range from 48 yds out that makes the score Ohio State 14 Michigan 10 [Applause] [Applause] so after putting three on the board the kickoff team is out there ready to put it [Applause] away what kind of field position and he helped them with on the return didn't find any crease in that kickoff coverage and he'll be stopped at the 17 here comes the Ohio State offense onto the field from the shotgun the hand off to the back got the first down and more and a really nice run and pick up there before the defense avoided disaster and stopped the really big play I love when players understand situations and they understand where the first down marker is and they understand where I got to get to a lot of people you'll see run north south and try to bounce out wide and make big plays sometimes it's not about making big plays sometimes about getting that first down to make sure I get an extra set of downs instead of trying to make those big touchdowns get him on the ground after a 4yd run after to the 31 it's just so nice to know you can start off on first down with positive plays positive yards hand the football off set up a good second down after the productive first down play it's second and six looking to throw a tower just a short pass to the tight end and he might be known for run pitch but that was a sure and heavy tackle on the tight end I'll say this man in college football you see a lot of bad tackling you didn't see it right there that was an awesome job first off being there at the point of attack once the tight end made the catch there was no doubt he was going down great job form t on third and short just trying to get enough for the first down he's knocked down in the back field he'll lose a couple great job by the defense everybody firing off the ball hitting their guys holding their gaps running to the football nowhere to go the Buckeyes decide to punt it away on tot it [Applause] away and everybody stays in their Lanes well enough and they stop him at the 31 yd Line Michigan ready to get that offense rolling again dbe they couldn't pay off that last drive with a touchdown now they moov the ball down the field and executed like they wanted to until they stalled out and had to set up for a field I think if you want to take the next step two here and score a touchdown you got to start finding more creative ways to get your best players the ball let's see if they can do that here not what they had in mind to start this drive here comes second and 13 he's got it again they bring him down but a solid pick up to put them in position to pick up a first down listen defense is about energy it's about passion it's about physicality they need a little bit more of that get the guy in the ground you can't let guys break tackles what could have been set up in a long yarded situation now it becomes an easier situation because you couldn't get him on the ground from the gun he'll try to throw for it on third down caught near the sticks it's Morgan such a big part to convert these third downs and they've got it at the 42 it's tough on the defense there third down you're in zone coverage everybody's watching the quarterback and you're trying to make a break on the ball but he just got it out of his hands too quickly and the throw was too accurate really nothing you can do there and it's now a fresh set of downs looking for space it's Edwards still on his feet at the 45 running toward the tape touchdown Michigan and with that one they jump on top here in the second half number man I am a great play caller when I can hand it to guys like that and he can go that far to the house create big plays showed you a little bit of vision showed you a little bit of burners when he kicked it in gear and got the long touchdown [Applause] run now they'll line up for what they hope is automatic and the extra point puts them up by a field goal quick work on that scoring drive just four plays and they finish it off on the ground with a 58 y for six about to kick it off after punching it in for the touchdown on the run from inside his own five didn't find any crease in that kickoff coverage and he'll be stopped at the 17 the Buckeyes roll that offense back out there their Drive chart is starting to look a little monotonous punt punt punt David and their defense is starting to get a little frustrated too they just keep putting me back on the field possession after possession Jesse this offense needs to get their heads out of there you know what the punter is on the sideline with the oxygen mask right now he's been playing so much he's not used to this this offense they just got to stay on the field they've got to put a drive together and get some balance going running and throwing the ball a little pre- snap eye candy for the defense snagged in the middle it's Scott and they'll do more than move the change they'll move that thing more than 30 yds down the field before he's finally stopped [Applause] [Music] we've reached the end of the period and Michigan has the lead they've done the work to build a nice cushion now to bring it home as we check out the stats after three quarters back at it to open the quarter with this first down play out of the gun the inside handoff looking for a free and he broke one tackle on the way to a Sol solid pick up there I know it's sexy to FL the football but if you can pound it away and get these kind of gains they will just add up wear the defense down get first downs and ultimately get some points that kind of pickup on first down and you can take a shot here on second and short takes a hand off it's Henderson the Buckeyes will have a first down I know this is an offensive line that has a ton of Pride they want to come out each and every game and really impose their will on the D line they got just enough push there on that run play to pick up the first and the Buckeyes are on the Move pulls and throws off the RPO they make the stop trying to pick up just a little bit at a time to get to that first down marker you just get the feeling this defense is going to make it hard on them right they've got the lead it's late and they're going to try to tackle everybody in bounds offense is going to have to really work for this and be smart you got to attack the sidelines you got to throw first downs you got to keep this thing moving vertically down the field on the run it's Howard can't quite make the connection there might have led him a little too much the defense was obviously ready for that play they've obviously been watching film they know that that pass play is one of the bread and butter plays this offense has so nice job defending it couldn't find his man last time now they'll have to convert third and four off the bootleg wants to toss it that's caught it's AA and he's a real Nowhere Man tackled in this no gain land it hope to get him in space create Running Room and there just wasn't anything there I love the third down aggressive in your face defense not giving you any room to run down the field great job by the defense they saw the throw the Quick Pass reacted to it got him on the ground for a loss he bomed it through a 50yd field goal showing off that powerful back and this kicker has ice water in his veins fourth quarter you need to make the field goal to tie it up and that kid just drilled we've got a Dandy going here all tied up in the fourth quarter and about to kick it away he'll bring it back from inside his spot didn't find any crease in that kickoff coverage and he'll be stopped at the 17 and here comes the Michigan offense back on the field the give to the back able to pick up a couple before he's dragged down at the 19 that's a really good job by the defense wrapping him up getting him on the ground take away that run game make him onedimensional put him in passing situations really good job by the defense picked up two yards on that last one they need eight on second down back to throw it's orgy fires to the middle complete downfield there to make the tackle but the big throw is good enough to give them a first down well these wide receivers work the middle of the field so much of this is field understanding where the holes are in the zone or understanding how to get leverage on a man and these wide receivers are dangerous nowadays because they do it so fast and see that so quick and make those plays over the middle running back searching for a hole nice solid form tackle from this sophomore and the defense doing a great job committing to the run when you commit to the run like this obviously you can give up some plays in the passing game but you got to stop the run first after picking up a couple in second and eight he's looking to throw unloads to the wide out trying to hook up along the sideline but it's incomplete it's third down big third down as the crowd Gets behind this defense from the gun wants to pass grabbed over the middle it's Lin third down conversions are huge and they've got one and they're at the 35 big fell showing some ability got away from one tackle defense lucky they had a few more there to help yeah he's not a big stiff he's not a blocking tight end this guy can do some work out in the open field as well and he showed you his athleticism the Wolverines will snap it on First and 10 they'll run it from the gun across the 25 he's got room touchdown Wolverine they've got the lead here in the fourth there's a reason they call this dude a big playmaker moments just like that one big time playmaker can make plays all over the field from all different spots that's why you got to find ways to give him touches as much as possible cuz he'll make it happen [Applause] they'll try to add another to their lead extra point the extra point is good and now in the fourth they're up by a touchdown and an extra point so that scoring Drive took only six plays and he closed the deal by racing 35 yds to P almost ready to kick it away after scoring the touchdown the returner will field it and try to to do some business really disciplined job by the coverage unit to get down there and make the stop at the 19 here comes the Ohio State offense onto the field wasting no time throwing on this drive that's caught it's auka they make the stop after the catch and still some work to do to pick up that first down listen I'm going to move this guy everywhere he's in the slot this time but I'm not going to let the defense understand where he's lining up so they can double team him put him in the slot put him out wide either way find this guy early and often on the ground it's Henderson the Buckeyes pick up the first down well the offense knew what they needed to get that first down so they dial up the running play and they get just enough to keep the drive a [Applause] lot and they'll line up from the 31 on first down looking to throw it's Howard coming after him quarterback doing what he does best he can move a really nice run and gain and he gets down to avoid taking punishment you know I think in this situation of the game too if I'm this guy I'm thinking the same thing right I'm throwing and getting yards and if it's not there I'm going to take this game over myself with my legs we're in the fourth quarter we've got an opportunity one possession down to get back in this thing I just got to do whatever I got to do to make that happen [Applause] big drive for this offens leag trying to tie the game they pieced together a couple of first downs and here they come again he's looking to throw it fires to the wide out oh what a grab by the defense no real chance on the return but they've got it at the 34 Big Time Players make big time plays in Big Time games great job by the defense not closing the door completely but stopping the momentum late in the game when you already got a lead nice job [Applause] D guys Here Come Those Maze and blue winged helmets on offense so we've got a tight spot here David they'd love to run out the clock but all those timeouts staring out and they got three timeouts on defense but I know a first down ends this football game so I got got to get my guys physical ready to roll yeah because you know this defense is going to be playing the Run they're going to be loading the box trying to get tackles using their timeouts to get the football back so this is going to come down to who's better in the trenches little touch pass to the receiver cre good effort on that one to work his way up to the 42 quick timeout called by the defense stopping the clock to save as much time as possible for their offense these fans stepping up to help this defense on third down they'll run it trying to drain time off the clock defense uses a timeout quickly trying to get that ball back and preserve time for their offense well they needed two yards to get that first down that's exactly what they got great job of execution no secret about it just got to be physical get a hat on a hat low man wins all the cliches to get that third down and short tonight's final score Michigan 24 Ohio State 1 [Applause] for all that's [Applause] [Applause] [Applause] [Music]
