of first down and he's across the 40 nearly to the 45 Abraham Williams The Tackle after a pickup of 11 fun to watch the tempo throughout this thrill and he checks it down to Terence Ferguson the star that's why they just took Lane off and Wagner on all right the right idea right Williams has not been able to return a kick yet that's his thing so now here's Nate Thomas turning the corner and picking up the first down throughout this game and this is a drive that I'd imagine Idaho with under 6 minutes to go in the half they're trying to use as much clock as possible as Oregon will get the rock to kick off the third quarter Luke schlyer the offensive coordinator for Idaho has coordinated some really explosive offenses at these three years with the vandals here's Lane on the Move Lane's going to tuck it and Lane's going to get out near Midfield before he's pushed out of bounds a pickup of six yards Dylan Williams there to help him out so much of Jack Blaine's game is coming from really successful for Oregon they're trying to get him on the perimeter a little bit get him on the edges on the Move in the passing game Idaho's had some off uh offensive possessions that showed promise the last one ended with an interception in the end zone as Lane just gets that ball away urri young was bearing down on him and he knew that there was nothing for Nate Thomas to do with the passing right now this is and Tad here for Oregon Gabriel checks it down to the back no Whittington Whittington Slips Away leaps over a man and he's near a first down there's so much in every play right the athleticism is just Leon in 2023 that was week four September 23rd that he had a pretty significant knee injury and able to make it back in Gabriel pressured ball comes out and there's a pick up of eight it'll set up fourth down and two remember Oregon gets the ball first to start the second half and so this is four down territory frah Oregon does not as the clock continues to tick tick tick this is a tough spot if you're Idaho right you get this first down you just allowed 15 20 seconds to bleed off this clock here before the half but if you don't Oregon gets it near Midfield Lane deep shot hary and he can't breing bring it in Great coverage from Brandon Johnson thumbs down they go to the true freshman coming from the slot running the slot hary I like the play call taking a shot that young receiver will learn from that so does Oregon try to make something happen here with one timeout and 19 seconds left in the half Gabriel there's James he's got a first down that'll stop the clock while they set it okay right now I'm going to work the slot I'm going to find Terence Ferguson he's in the slot finding him right here and now Gabriel spikes it and that leaves 8 seconds it's a concept that the Oregon Ducks love in these types of situations can you find your tight end down the seam then you'll have the opportunity of course to call that timeout in a nice job by Dan lenning saving that Timeout on the fourth down that Spike took 4 seconds remember Sappington the kicker missed a 51 y earlier here's James trying to get to the sideline he can't get there they team in America that got better on the interior defensive line like Oregon did post Spring football Derek Haron comes over from Michigan State in may they brought in Jamari Caldwell they have so much depth on average they want to play those defensive lineman about 35 snaps a game Harman was used to playing 65 snaps at his previous place got to be fresh here on a third down Art Williams comes into Ferguson for a first down well we talked to Jason EK he's playing some big games this is the fifth FBS game they've been in as Ferguson is taking a moment he's down on the field and while he is down we'll step aside for 30 seconds the thing dogged off looked like uh he popped up it was a first down play so out of the pistol here's Noah wington looks like he's got fresh legs and he bursts forward just to make the point this is the fifth FBS game that Idaho has played since Jason e arrived they've won one they've lost three they were tied or leading in halftime of the other four and that wasn't the case today but earlier this week he showed video of everybody on TV picking Florida State to beat Georgia Tech and he said that's the same thing that's going to happen this week can we do the same thing that Georgia Tech did with Tran Holden with another first down and maybe Oregon starting to move things here well they've had success in the quick game for the majority of this ball game you just look at the numbers of Dylan Gabriel 30 of 35 now as comple your percentages off the charts I'd like to see the Ducks take a shot here they're athletic can they create an explosive play and really get this defense at so close to the line of scrimmage can they back them off Gabriel finds Whittington again and Whittington makes the first man miss no winning on the reception Dan Landing told R Lewis at halftime we need more explosives on offense yeah and I think right now Idaho there's a there's a couple opportunities against this defense but you got to give Dylan Gabriel credit and
