[Music] hello it is Saturday July 27th 2024 I'm Chris Remo and welcome back to the New York Times crossword daily solve it's a Saturday crossword today which means we're going to be solving a tricky themeless puzzle very possibly the most difficult puzzle of the week and I hope it's not too brutal because I'm running behind schedule today I'm very short on time so I'm going to have to solve this field and let's get on to the solve by uh well the puzzle I should say by Barbara Lynn and Matthew stock who've constructed I think around a dozen and a couple of dozen puzzles respectively and it was edited once again by Joel Fano all right let's get on with it let's start solving home finding organization I don't know is this something to do with mortgages or or rent sort of rent searching or something I don't know grouping in the Southern Caribbean it's presumably an island group but i' uh don't know what this is off end all right this is off to a for boting start dabbling duck what kind of duck would fit I mean I guess it could be my first thought was that it was going to be a kind of real duck but I guess it could also be a cartoon duck or a name of a duck or something it's probably a kind of duck what would fit in four letters teal would fit in four letters but I have no idea if that's does that duck particularly dabble blank comedy well if it were teal this could be alt comedy like alternative comedy so I'm not entirely confident about these but they're plausible so I'm going to put them in and see home finding organization yeah I just have no idea what's going on there
