[Music] [Applause] hi I'm Brian Matthews I work for wen's construction um I'm the project manager and this is uh Jose cillo and um he is the superintendent all right guys let's go inside uh Olympia and see what's going on today [Music] I uh we started these castellated beans today we're going to go ahead and lift them with the crane one crane is going to go ahead and pick it up and put it on the seats the secondary crane is going to go ahead and come over here and pick up some beans and help us support it so it won't turn to the left to the right uh the beans are 140 ft long they weigh 35,000 lb these beams are actually um the largest supporting beams um in the village on any building or bridge that we've done we have around 21 workers uh here today uh to help us install this to install all these beams these beams are connecting from column to column 140 ft long with beams going up the rake and joys going up the rake and that will give the rake of the structure of the gym like Jose said this is a gym so we need um it's going to roughly have four basketball courts in it um it's got two volleyball six pickle ball courts um also in this area so um definitely The Villages needs that big open space for sure um Olympia is definitely the largest recck Center that the villages will have to date um Eastport itself you know we're building a lot of buildings here this is one of the one of the largest buildings here in Eastport yeah and it's just uh super unique and an awesome job to do for sure after the roof gets installed we'll start roughing in all the aps what we'll continue with duck work electrical work uh there's not a lot of framing we're going to have a go ahead and Prime walls prep walls joints um and the last installation will be the the gym floor it's just a going to be a pretty amazing facility and if I was a villager I would definitely it'd be one of those things that I couldn't wait to get into [Music]
