Intro well well well if it isn't the soulmates welcome back to Commander Abridged we've been on a very long Hiatus we're back for now we're excited to be back for now and we do want to shout out our uh friend of the show Freo 11135 for the very encouraging comments on the previous video uh we're doing this one for you buddy so let's get into some dect teexs this is going to be a spicy one it's also going to have a lot of rules violations and suboptimal play because we haven't done this for a long time so hope you enjoy alongside our deck teex today we also have uh shots that we decided to take which certainly did not make playing this game any easier to come back to anyway I'm up first playing omnath locus of creation this is an energy deck in which I crammed every decent to good energy card from the new modern Horizons 3 and Fallout sets into a sort of battle cruiser Beast my drink of choice today is simaron Blanco Silver Tequila second up is CJ with his San the shipright cheat stuff into play Deck CJ is looking to get as many San triggers as possible by swinging or flickering him he's got a bunch of big creatures with enter the battlefield abilities that will also benefit from these flickers and CJ fakes us out by bringing in first a Crown Royal but actually taking a shot of bardi instead going third is James with daon Black Blade an esper lands matter deck this deck is full of cards that care about lands and ramp ensuring that daon gets as big as possible to swing in for unblockable Commander damage kills it also hosts a suite of Richard Kane Ferguson cards because James loves that guy and can you blame him his shot tonight is good old Tito's vodka and last but not least is Caps playing BBY the corrupted Observer for big mana and big hydras B's going to give it to you with this x spells Centric deck she generates lots of Mana in the early game gets some formidable threats out and then amasses Mana for a big X spell finish to close out the game Del magu Vita Mescal is this Chad's drink of choice now that we're all Tipsy and ready to get the rules wrong let's get right into it I start off with a forest and cast aune with ether I grab a basic Mountain from my library put it into my hand and get Turn 1 two energy counters that's the editing nightmare sorry James yeah it's so easy it's not a nightmare that sounds the editing I know it sounds like it sounds like a Jes sound like a how did I pass my turn CJ plays a forest and passes the turn James plays a flooded Strand and pays a life and cracks it right away to grab a rafi's tower tapped and then passes the turn over to caps caps plays a swamp and casts a vicious Conquistador setting up for a potential big man a turn two I Turn 2 start my turn two with an escape tunnel as my land for the turn and pass over to CJ after cracking the tunnel for a basic PLS tapped CJ plays a forest and casts an Elvish Visionary drawing a card when it enters the battlefield he passes to James James starts with a Sho death's storehouse and one up CJ by casting a baleful stricks also drawing a card upon entering the battlefield James is his better CJ yeah it has death tchard flying dude that's two colors that's too hard for me he passes to caps caps plays a Woodland Cemetery as his land for the turn and casts his Commander BBY corrupted Observer he heads right to combat and swings The Vicious Conquistador at me it Triggers on attack causing everyone but caps to lose a life and I can't block so I take an additional one damage at the beginning of the second main phase BBY triggers and caps gets six colorless Mana he uses five of that to cast a horizon Stone I can't believe he's already a problem it's just Horizon Stone coming that's an editing nightmare he passes to his endep and the one colorless Mana still in his pool sticks around thanks to the Horizon Stone I start my turn three with a mountain and cast a tireless tracker with zero mana and two energy up I pass the turn let Turn 3 the ls fall down whoa I don't think sorry I'm sorry I'm sorry I'm sorry I'm sorry CJ plays a command Tower as his land for the turn then casts a decanter of endless water giving him no maximum hand size he passes James plays a bloodstained Meer and then casts the soul ring from the Sheldon menory secret lair rest in peace king after that he pays One Life to crack the bloodstain Meer to go get I'm going to get the shadowy back street Back Street Boys The Shadow he surveils one when it enters the battlefield and keeps the card on the top he proceeds through combat and in his second main phase BBY triggers because he as an opponent of caps lost life this turn giving him two colorless Mana he uses that and then two more Mana from the soul ring to cast a solemn simulacrum when it enters the battlefield James goes and gets a basic Plaines from his library and puts it onto the battlefield and he shortcuts a bit here before he searches by also casting a weathered Wayfair before passing the turn to caps caps starts off with a basic swamp and then enters right into combat he swings the Bing at Siege which Triggers on attack and everyone loses a life and Siege blocks with his Elvish visionary which dies after damage in his second main phase caps adds six colorless Mana he casts a fractal harness with x equal to 6 and when it enters it makes a z00 fractal token that gets six plus one plus1 counters put onto it and the harness also attaches onto it with no other plays he passes the turn CJ I don't know how you're feeling right now but I'm quaking I mean I now don't have a board because I don't know how to I untap and cast a Lotus Cobra following that up with my land drop a tranquil land ape generating a clue token from the tireless tracker and a blue Mana from the Cobra I then cracked the landscape to go grab a basic Island Turn 4 tapped from my library this triggers the Cobra and the tracker again getting me another blue mana and another clue respectively I Ed the floating mana and tap a mountain to cast wher virtuo which enters the battlefield and gains me three more energy putting me up to five dude I'm really excited to see a bunch of cards never seen life uh cuz they [ __ ] suck dude yeah well they're they are cool I pass to CJ with my energy up CJ plays an island and casts San the ship right when it enters we each secretly choose a player any player who receives a vote draws one card for each vote they received and anyone who doesn't receive a vote may put a permanent card from their hand into play the other boys use numbers one through four for each of us one being me two being CJ three being James and four being caps i instead wrote my pick down on one of my ever versatile infin tokens who are not a sponsor of our Channel we count down and Ral all at once CJ and I both voted for James James voted for CJ and caps voted for his damn self CJ and caps each draw one card and James draws two I put a celesia sanctuary into play as my free permanent bouncing one of my basic Islands upon it entering the battlefield my Lotus Cobra and tireless tracker also trigger here netting me another clue and a white Mana with the white Mana I cast an ephemerate targeting my wher virtuoso which returns to play and bumps me up to a whopping eight energy the ephemerate goes into Exile as it resolves thanks to rebound CJ with nothing passes it over to James James starts off with a field of the dead as his land for the turn following that up with a sword of the animist he equips the sword onto his baleful stricks and heads into combat he swings the baleful stricks at caps and the solemn at CJ the sword Triggers on attack and James finds a basic Island which enters tap caps doesn't block and takes two damage while CJ blocks solemn with his seran drawing James a card when it dies I'm never going to be able to activate Weather W I've dug my own girl yeah why is that it's a really good blocker it's the deck to get a land yeah but you always ramp out lands I know you're right that's true that's a that's a I'm thinking about that I'm thinking about that right now dude editor note editor not Photoshop another card instead of weathered wafare James passes to caps caps plays a verdant catacombs pays a life to crack it right away for a uberr t you said that like St l I've been watching way too much of him lately have you ever noticed that you've never seen saffron Olive and me in the same place yeah yeah I have actually that's weird much love saffron Olive he shocks himself to 35 for the land to enter unta he then heads into combat and swings the kador at James and the fractal at me which both trigger on attack everyone else loses one life and caps doubles the number of counters on the fractal putting it up to 12 power James does not block taking one more damage and I spend three energy to create a thopter token with the wher virtuoso's activated ability then use that token to block the fractal killing the poor [ __ ] before he even had a chance caps enters his second main phase and BBY triggers giving him six colorless Mana he floats two black mana and then uses two of the colorless and a green from Overgrown Tomb to cast a harrow sacrificing a swamp as its additional cost and go get a swamp H very interesting go get a swamp at a forest why would he do it that way Jesus he then Taps all of his lands for mana and uses his two floating black and one of his floating colorless to cast a damnable Packa where x equals 4 he targets himself to no one's surprise drawing four cards and losing four life he ends his turn and the remaining three colorless Mana plus the one from earlier all float on all right already thanks to Horizon Stone on caps' end step I use three of my five energy counters to make another thopter token with wher virtuoso so we're back at two energy and this energy deck you're about to [ __ ] see some crazy [ __ ] bro I Turn 5 untap and in my upkeep the ephemerate and Exile re bounds and I Target the wher virtuoso which flickers and generates me three more energy counters y were talking a lot of [ __ ] boys you don't know how the deck works I think I figured it out now I then cast omnath locus of creation from the command Zone and upon his entering draw a card I play a command Tower which triggers my landfall abilities gaining me four life and a mana and a clue and then I cast a Beast Within targeting The Horizon Stone this kills the stone and caps loses the Mana but gains a 33 Beast Token I head into combat and swing the one- one flying thopter at CJ who doesn't block and takes one damage in my second main phase I use my two BBY Mana from that damage to sacrifice a clue and draw a card I pass to CJ CJ untaps and goes from zero to combat in [ __ ] seconds flat James and him made a deal earlier with James offering not to block if he was attacked by seran what does James get out of this well nothing but we get to see ceran Trigger which is [ __ ] sick we all vote wherein myself James and caps all vote for cap caps and CJ votes for James caps draws three James draws one and CJ and I put some permanence into play I put in a riddle gate gargoyle getting three more energy back up to eight CJ puts a bramble Sovereign into play and in his second main phase withdraws two colorless Mana from the bank of BBY he uses that and three lands for a sludge monster which triggers Bramble Sovereign and itself upon entering he pays two more Mana into the Bramble Sovereign trigger and gets a second copy of the sludge monster when the sludge monster trigger resolve they put a slime counter on C BBY and my omnath as long as Sledge monster is on the field and those creatures have slime counters on them they are 2 two slimes with no other abilities with no other plays CJ passes it over to James James starts his turn off with an obnx lus the Fallen he then plays a land for the turn triggering OB nixus and field of the Dead yep I got five different named lands let's go you need seven seven that's what I meant to say I meant to say seven there you got two planes I'm looking at two planes you're this is a swap this is a swap sir looking at two planes this is a swan I'm not pointing that I'm pointing at two planes are those not two planes that's an island oh check the color brother check the water look at the look at the art do not look at the art that be so obvious he creates a two two zombie token with the field and targets me with the OB nixus trigger losing me three life and putting three plus one plus1 counters onto obus James heads into combat and swings the baleful stricks at me which triggers the sword of the animist he puts a swamp in to play tapped from his Library again triggering his field and his OB nixus so he makes another 2 two zombie and targets me once more to lose three life and putting three more counters onto OB hi editor James here Tom also paid three energy here to create a thopter token to block the baleful stricks just wanted to tell you okay bye in his second main phase James plots a pitiless Carnage putting it into exile to be cast on a later turn for free he then passes the turn caps begins with a swamp then heads into combat he swings the fractal at Siege which on attack triggers the harness doubling the plus one plus1 counters on it up to 24 CJ blocks it with one of the sludge monsters killing the sludge in his second main phase caps casts an awaken the woods with x equal to four creating him four farest dryad creature land tokens rev up that weathered wave farer brother [ __ ] it's true there you go I'm pretty stoked right now caps passes the turn over to me after discarding back down to seven cards in hand I begin my turn by casting an [ __ ] ancestral Echo abuo your grandfather Turn 6 dude what's going on you didn't see grandpappy coming to [ __ ] save the day did you I activate my grandpa to flicker omnath exiling it until the end of the turn and removing its slime counter in the process thanks to the magic of editing you don't see me absolutely [ __ ] donkey this up and not catching it until at least James's turn this cycle I play in aor as Chancery as my land for the turn bouncing a Plains back to my hand tireless tracker in the Lotus cobra trigger again so I float a white mana and create a clue token I then head to combat and swing wher virtuoso at caps paying two energy into the riddle gate gargoyle's attack trigger to give the virtuoso LifeLink until end of turn caps blocks with BBY who dies and goes back to the command Zone and I gain two life with no other plays I proceed to my endstep at which point omnath enters the battlefield once more and draws me a card I pass the turn CJ again heads right into combat he asked James if their deal is still active and James tries to negotiate are you not going to slime my OB nius well it still have the counters on it so it kind of still be slime that up SL SL do slime that up slime on it like it owes you money the damage won't go to you CJ won't go to you all right so caps will you let me swing s in and I will slide in the OB is that a deal you're swinging to me yeah if that's okay all right cool un unfuckingbelievable he instead makes a deal with caps who agrees to take the San damage as long as obnx list gets slimed much to james' sugrin CJ swings San at caps and the sludge monster at May on attack the sludge monster and ceran both trigger a slime counter gets put onto obni alus making it a slime with base power and toughness 22 for as long as the Sledge monster is on the field and we all Pokémon go to the cerdan poles this time CJ and I vote for caps and caps and James both vote for CJ caps and CJ both draw two cards each and James and I drop a permanent into play each I put in a dream tide whale and James puts in corash air to Black Blade I blocked the sludge monster with my one- one thopter and caps does not block but we were all so caught up in resolving the San trigger that we forgot to deduct that from his life total for now it's our first time back in a while and this was the shots episode so you got to cut us a little bit of slack I guess in his second main phase CJ plays a golden rusy uh and yeah he passes right after that in the end step James finally activates his weathered way farer one time and tutors an herborg tomb of yog moth to his hand he then starts his own turn James casts a Gideon Black Blade floating a colorless Mana off of his soul ring he activates the plus one ability on Gideon making cor lash indestructible for the turn abandoning his floating one Mana he equips the sword of the animist onto corash and follows It Up by playing an herborg tomb of yog mooth as his land for the turn giving caps a bunch of bayos field of the dead triggers and James gets another 2 two zombie token he cast a fire shrier as his second spell for the turn triggering my dream tide whale I proliferate my energy counters up to four my dream tide whales time counters up to three and capses fractal putting it up to 25 plus one plus one counters when the fire Sher resolves James equips it onto corash giving it double strike he enters combat and swings the 1010 double striking indestructible corash at Siege who has some qualms please don't swing it at me I really want to make it corash please swing it somewhere El sloppy on him hey he can't he can't can't until he attacks again I know I 100% sticking to my guns right here give him give him the sloppy in response to the attack before James remembers his sword trigger CJ casts a siren's ruse targeting his sludge monster it flickers and CJ puts a slime counter onto corash making it base power and toughness 22 and a slime James then remembers his sword trigger and tutors up a basic as CJ does not block the slimed cor lash still has plus one plus1 and double strike from its equipment so CJ takes six damage field to the dead triggers after James puts his Basic Land into play and he gets another 2 two zombie token with no other plays he passes it off the caps caps Thanks James for the herborg by playing a cabal coffers he follows that up by activating the coffers creating 11 black mana and he uses two of that and two green to cast a greater good looks so yummy with that 2525 on board that's about to turn into a 50 dozen he uses the rest of his floating mana and two more to cast a stone coil serpent with x equal to 11 this is his second spell so this triggers my dream tide whale and I proliferate my whales time counters my energy counters and of course the Slime counter on james' Cor lash making James scramble to find another counter he finds Tom Nook who really if you think about it is pretty slimy caps enters combat and swings the fractal token at CJ which triggers the harness on attack the counters on the token double going up to [ __ ] 50 CJ blocks with his Bramble sovereign and takes no damage with no other plays caps passes to me I untap and in my upkeep I Turn 7 remove a Time counter from my whale in my first main phase I start with an island as my land for turn getting a clue token from the tireless tracker adding a green to my pool thanks to the Lotus Cobra and gaining four life for my omnath I use the green and two lands to cast a rogue refiner which draws me a card and Nets me two energy counters when it enters the battlefield I then cast a plasma Caster triggering my dream tide whale as my second spell so I proliferate my energy my time and add another slime counter onto cor lash third sludge counter on D enough enough it's on Cor lash by the way isn't that what what did I say you said daon dude that's [ __ ] unbelievable I cannot believe you [ __ ] confuse the two this time James finds a no face statue I then equip the plasma Caster onto my dream tide whale I enter combat and swing the dream tide whale at James the plasmacaster and riddle gate gargoyle both trigger so I stack the triggers to first game G two energy and then use that energy right away to pay it into the gargoyle to give my whale LifeLink for the turn James does not block and takes eight damage while I gain eight life I skip through my second main phase and pass the turn Siege starts off his turn with a thought vessel giving him even more no maximum hand size he then casts a mold Drifter triggering my whale as his second spell so I proliferate my time and energy counters and yet another slime counter on a COR lash this time James finds a little duck guy the mold Drifter resolves and CJ draws two cards he plays a forest for turn then and cruise the golden arusi with sdan mold Drifter and the sludge monster he heads to combat and swings the arusi at me it Triggers on attack and Exiles everything that cruded it for this turn I block the arusi with omnath and they bounce off of each other CJ ends his turn and all his guys come back tap and they all trigger when they enter the battlefield so he draws two cards slimes the fractal giving it a little bump and power and we all vote with San sieg and I vote for me caps votes for himself and James votes for CJ I draw two caps and CJ draw one and James throws a watery grave into play tap triggering his field of the Dead for another 2 two Zombie Siege finishes his endep and the turn goes over to James James upticks Gideon giving corash LifeLink for the turn and heads to combat swinging corash at Siege the sword of the Animus triggers and he tutors a basic land and Nets another 2 two Zombie Siege has no blocks and takes six while James gains six and then in his second main phase James casts the pitiless Carnage that he had plotted all those turns ago he sacrifices six zombie tokens and cor lash so he doesn't have to deal with the [ __ ] counters anymore drawing seven cards in total he plays a contaminated landscape as his land for the turn getting another tutu zombie from the field of the dead then he casts a Liliana of the dark Realms followed by a dthy Embrace this trigger the dream tide wh I upset it no more corash just proliferate my time and energy James then casts a profane tutor or rather suspends it putting it into Exile with two time counters on it he then activates the plus one ability on Liliana and searches his library for a swamp passing the turn to caps as he looks caps plays a swamp then activates cabal coffers adding 12 black man to his pool and James tries to politic um c h i can give your big creature Shadow you you you okay thank you for for telling me that mhm but you may you may Reserve that offer soon maybe who knows we'll see but I think I I thank you for the offer caps does not take the bait though he keeps all his Mana floating and uses three of his lands to cast a creeping blood sucker followed up by a mardu shadow spear this triggers my dream tide whale and I give myself even more time and energy caps then uses two of his floating black to cast a shepherd of rot and follows it up with a finale of Devastation where X is equal to 10 using the rest of his floating mana and two green to cast it in response to that James hard casts a force of will countering the finale of Devastation caps then equips the fractal harness onto the stone coil Serpent and heads into combat he swings the serpent at me and the fractal token at James the harness Triggers on attack and the stone coil serpent doubles its counters going up to 22 I don't block taking a full 22 right to the Dome and James blocks with his weathered W farer taking no damage caps passes through the second main phase and then passes the turn to me I Turn 8 untap and in my upkeep I remove a Time counter from the dream tide whale due to the vanishing trigger and then I begin my first main phase by casting a renap excavator allowing me to play lands from my graveyard I proceed to do this by playing a tranquil landscape for the turn which enters the battlefield and triggers the Lotus Cobra to add a white Mana omnath to gain me four life and tireless tracker to give me another clue token I sacked the Tranquil landscape for a basic land triggering all of that again but this time omnath gives me a work's worth of mana and the Cobra gives me an extra blue I use three of my floating Mana to activate Grandpa exiling the omnath until the end of the turn I crack a clue with two more of the Mana to draw a card missing the tracker's plus one plus1 counter trigger and then I cast a suppression Ray targeting caps tapping all of his creatures and then paying six energy into the lad portion of the spell to put a stun counter on six of caps' creatures specifically the stone coil serpent the fractal token the Conquistador the blood sucker mardu Shadow Spear and The Shepherd of rot notably though Stone coil serpent has protection from multicolored this does not Target and so I'm able to put a stun counter onto the serpent I then head into combat and swing the dream tide whale at James again stacking my two attack triggers to gain two energy from the plasma cter and paying it directly into the gargoyle attack trigger to give the whale LifeLink for the turn James blocks with his OB nixus slime and I pay two energy into the plasmacaster to flip a coin and try to kill it or rather Exile it I suppose we roll a die instead of a coin and I name evens that's statistics it lands on five and the plasma Caster deals one damage to op I then pay another two energy into the plasma cter ability and roll again this time it lands on two so I Exile the obelus the whale does not do any combat damage this turn and thus no life is gained by me I then pass through my second main phase and go to end my turn omnath comes back on my endstep and I draw a card and I cannot stress enough how much editing James is doing here to make me look like I am not a complete [ __ ] idiot cuz I messed this up like twice in a row and thought it was an instant blicker instant blicker huh anyway magic is hard dude CJ plays a forest then casts a lord of change he draws three cards when it enters the battlefield then Crews up the arussy with everything except the Lord of change he enters combat and swings the Bing at James on attack his crewing creatures [ __ ] off until the end of the turn and James does not block but does take three damage CJ goes to his endep and everything comes back so CJ draws two cards he slimes my grandpa paying for the ward cost and we all vote for the San trigger my grandpa I'm ready to [ __ ] vot I'm ready to vote this guy sludged on my grandpa me in November I'm ready to vote you know what I mean Siege and I vote for myself James votes for James and caps votes for caps I draw two James and caps each draw one and Siege gets to slam dunk a sphinx of Enlightenment into play he targets James and himself with the ETB trigger James draws one card while CJ draws another three I keep drawing lands and my land [ __ ] he passes the turn over to James James untaps and in his up keep a Time counter is taken off of his profane tutor he plays a marsh Flats as his land for the turn gets a 2u zombie token from field of the dead then pays a life cracks the marsh flats and gets a hollowed fountain for which he pays another two life to have it enter untapped he Nets another zombie and while he's digging around in his Library he also just does the plus one ability off of Liliana to find another swamp for his hand James follows this up by casting a burnished heart and then casts his Commander Dak on Black Blade this triggers my whale and I get more time and energy but I'm such a kind individual that that I do not proliferate the stun counters on caps' creatures you know the ones that I just [ __ ] put there once daon resolves James equips the sword of the animist onto daon Black Blade and ends his turn with some Insidious words for the table and I'll just hold up some Mana um you know again I can give some [ __ ] um Shadow so just think about that I'm going to discard one card say hand size caps onps [ __ ] love saying that and in his upkeep the creeping blood sucker triggers Siege James and I all lose one life as caps gains three he plays a swamp then casts archers parapet followed by a thorn bow Archer this triggers my whale again and I get more time and more energy this must be how those billionaires who uh drink their kids blood feel I also put another plus one plus1 counter on caps' fractal token caps decides now is the time he sacrifices the fractal token to the greater good to draw 51 cards and discard three he discards three lands then activates cabal coffers netting 13 black Mana caps then asks the table uh what would you would you rather have would you rather have torment or Orin sanguinate I don't want to think about sacking all my stuff yeah sanguinate would give me hope yeah give you hope S no uh uh for would give me my all right he honors the vote and casts and ex sanguinate with x equal to 16 Siege James and I all lose 16 life while caps gains 48 with no other plays he passes it over to me discarding back down to hand size on his endep I make a 1- one thopter with my whir virtuoso and then start my turn I untap and in my upkeep I Turn 9 take a Time counter off of the dream tide whale I play a myriad landscape mistakenly putting it into play untap also known as cheating uh but we've all been there sometimes you don't read the [ __ ] card so omnath triggers I gained four life and I also get a clue token and a floating Mana off of the lotus Cobra I cracked the cheaters landscape getting two Basics from my library into play those I put into play tapped triggering all my landfall guys two more times I get two more clues two more floating Mana from the lotus Cobra and my omnath gives me four Mana from the second trigger and four damage is dealt to all my opponents and their Plaines Walkers off of the third instance of that trigger no way why why Liliana and Gideon both take four damage going to one and two loyalty respectively and James caps and CJ all take four damage then James has a proposition Tom hear me out hear me out yeah I give something of yours unblockable you kill CJ you pass to me I give Dak an unblockable kill caps you swing at me I like that I like that I like yes yes I cast a panharmonicon with four of my floating mana and crack a clue to draw a card with the other two again missing my tireless tracker plus one plus1 counter trigger I follow that up with a Satia aetherflux genius which is my second spell triggering my dream tide whale I gain another energy counter and another time counter on the whale I enter combat and swing the riddle gate gargoyle the thopter and the SAA at caps and the dream tide whale at CJ SAA triggers and I make a copy of the Rogue refiner that's tapped in attacking caps and I also gain two energy when the copy enters it triggers twice because of the pan harmonicon so that also Nets me four more energy and two more cards to my hand I then pay to energy into the gargoyle's attack ability to give LifeLink to the whale James activates his dowy Embrace to make the whale unblockable killing CJ on damage and caps doesn't block anything taking nine damage going to uh 69 life now that c is gone my grandpa is no longer a slime I move to pass my turn at which point James sacrifices his burnished heart in my endep to get two basic lands onto the battlefield nting him two more zombies James untaps and in his upkeep the last time counter on profane tutor comes off so he casts it from Exile he puts a card into his hand and starts his turn by equipping the fire shrier onto daon Black Blade he then activates Gideon's plus one ability to give daon LifeLink and then he activates his dthy Embrace to give daon shadow he heads into combat and swings the at caps and the sword of the Animus triggers for another basic onto james' board caps then in response to the 1818 unblockable double strike LifeLink Commander attack sacrifices his Stone coil serpent to greater good to draw out the rest of his deck going out on his own [ __ ] terms also making sure that James does not get the LifeLink damage what a [ __ ] gamer dying at 69 life with no other plays James passes to me and I make two thopters by paying six energy into the wher virtuoso I start with a tab ready Courtyard which sacrifices itself Turn 10 immediately upon entering the battlefield for me to tutor up a basic onto the battlefield this triggers omnath tireless tracker and Lotus Cobra all two times each I make two Clues net six Mana total and gain four life I use three of the floating Mana to cast a Kodama reach and in response to this James casts to Fair's protection in response to that I crack all four of my Clues one at a time to draw four cards uh this time remembering the tireless tracker trigger to put four plus one plus1 counters onto it finding nothing note I Exile the omnath with my abuo letting theer's protection resolve I then resolve my Kodama reach getting two Basics from my library one to the field and one to hand I miss my landfall triggers and end my turn but at the end of my turn omnath comes back into play drawing me the Silver Bullet in James's upkeep once his [ __ ] has phased back in I cast a generous gift targeting daon Black Blade sheesh think that does it I think you got bro thought he had me bro thought he had me in response James swords to plow shares daon to gain 18 life instead sending daon back to the command Zone he plus ones Liliana to find a swamp from his Library into his hand finding under City sewers and then he plays that as his land for the turn and surveils a Dreamscape Artist into the graveyard while creating a 2 two black zombie thanks to the field of the dead he equips Gideon with the sword of the animist and the fire shrier and gives it Shadow with the Dy Embrace he enters combat and swings six 2 two zombie tokens the bful stricks and the Gideon all at me on attack he fails to find a basic with the sword of the animist and I go to declare blocks I block all six zombies and the baleful tricks and take 10 damage total from Gideon in his second main phase he casts a deep gnome terramancer and a trove Warden passing it over to me right after deep gnome terramancer I can definitely tap for it I'm just going to tap out [ __ ] it show my dominance I get three landfall Triggers on my turn thanks to a cabaret Courtyard from the graveyard followed by a far Turn 11 seek omnath landfall triggers three times to deal James four damage and killing his Planes ERS I do a bunch of other stuff but writing is on the wall here James is dead I make a lethal swing of the Bing killing James and coming out on top what a [ __ ] cool game to come back to I had energy the whole time Outro especially with that dream tide whale CJ flickered the hell out of San getting as many voting triggers as he could also dealing out some sick value creatures James ramped up to 18 lands in an espert deck and caps got to 69 life baby he drew that entire deck drew the whole damn thing thanks for joining us seriously thank you James for editing this as always but this time really
