Intro [Music] hey Dain where Stephan where Mitch no I'm and and we Kyle and K it's Michael and it's actually car and Why did you apply Michael so the reason we applied for the block was we had just gotten married we were sitting on our couch just finished our own Renault and we're watching gizan and we go I can do this let's give it a shot we put our application together an hour before the cut off I was like why are we doing this we've got two kids I've been drinking way too much and I thought we can do that what do you know twice on the book the thought of being able to do an epic renovation was just like right up our alley so a block rule Block rules that we didn't know about was that you couldn't use the same Builder that's done a Block series before but you can use the same tra oh that was the one that you shouldn't be organizing Builders or anything before you stepped onto the site everyone else had their Builders plumbers suppliers everyone on board for day one yeah jokes on us that you couldn't have any music that was massive down I thought I was going to rock up to the building site crank the tunes there are times when you're just working in a room and it just feels awkwardly quiet cuz there's a cameraman and a Sandy just watching you so if Judges and hosts there were any judges or hosts of a block that we wish we could have added to our team it would have been Scotty yeah we need someone with that can build I'd probably choose Jamie jury jie don't yeah oh yeah Landscaping bit of a man crush on him Jamie you're in take your shirt off Jamie it would 100% be Shelly I don't know I couldn't go past Scotty another Builder we speak the same language I would pick Keith everyone thinks he's grumpy he's not he's a sweetheart if I had to pick Other seasons any other season to be a part of it would be Duck's house because they won a truckload of money but they also got to renovate an awesome building I actually would do the first season at Bondi it would definitely have been giz I think it would be this current season Philip isand is such an epic location and surfing fishing boating it's got it all going on so our favorite rooms over the Favourite rooms last 20 seasons of the block for me would be Jimmy and Tam's front yard it had cacti it was like this Palm Spring Vibe they just absolutely nail they definitely teleported some but for me I loved Mitch and Mark's front yard in Bronte Court they did this amazing joinery around this mature tree it was so homely I think one of my favorite rooms that I've seen on the Block would have to be joshh and elise's kitchen living dining area I think the suspended concrete bench with the fireplace and all that whole area was just a total Vibe if there was one block rule that we Block rule change wish we could change absolutely allowing family members to participate others should be able to help the contestants paint it's horrible yeah just one painted help so it's still a lot of work but it just means that you can get it finished to the standard that you would hope what would be your dream block Dream block location location anywhere warmer than Melbourne in Wind let's make it barley and make it bar Villas bring it back to Sydney bring it back to vondi good luck finding a block of five in a row so I would love it to happen on the Gold Coast I would 100% pick Central Coast come to the Central Coast we're not getting paid by Central Coast tourism by the way to say this for more block content like And subscribe [Music]
